Next time I go on vacation US Open weekend, I'm driving. I wanted to stop in Eufaula and find a TV do what I could to help Phil, but my wife wouldn't do it, and the first shot I saw him hit, he holed it out for an eagle on 10 to retake the lead.

---

Hey, Phil didn't fail, he came in second. He was the top American finisher. He bested Tiger by 10 shots. He'll be back!

---

One thing was absolutely clear this past weekend.. the modern young buck golfers do not possess the shot prowess of the past champions. Modern golfers are too dependent on long drives and wedge shots. They still pull out the wedge when a 'bump & run' shot is clearly the best option.

Even though the outfit he wore Sunday was bad enough, but not as bad as Saturday's, I'm going to give Hunter Mahan the benefit of the doubt, and give him bonus points for the outfit he was wearing in third 3rd round of the US Open. It's Fathers' Day weekend , so I'm guessing he let his children pick his clothes out.

If I were a terrorist, I'd be upset to know that the NSA was 'following' my every move. As a citizen, I'm glad the NSA can do this, but as citizen who is not a terrorist, I resent knowing NSA has wasted my tax dollars investigating my life and without a warrant.

Online headline: "Obama: 'My Dad Was Never There For Me' -- Hmmm, probably explains why he hate males in general. Probably his defense for everything else he's screwed up as well.

---

Online headline: "Are Men Responsible For Women’s Menopause?" -- Yes, dear, whatever you say, dear.

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON — When front-line tax agents in Cincinnati used the term "tea party," they didn't just mean conservative groups. Instead, a "tea party" case could refer to an application for tax-exemption from any group -- including liberal ones -- believed to be engaging in political activity, one IRS official told congressional investigators." -- Is there no bottom Judas 00-bama won't stoop to in order to claim innocence? Sad thing is that mainstream media will validate this in order to stop having to defend 00-bama.

---

Online story: "As many as 3,500 prospective jurors will be summoned when Colorado theater shooting suspect James Holmes goes on trial, another measure of the complexity and sensitivity of the case. * Judge Carlos A. Samour Jr. included the estimate in a ruling dated Friday." -- The judge should have also ruled that the defense lawyers have to conduct juror questioning after the first 12 on their own time. A Constitutionally guaranteed 'fair and speedy' trial has turned into a "greedy fare" state by the Trial Lawyers Association.

---

It's a toss up for"Scandal of the Month" whether to give the title to IRS for spending $50 Million on parties or for S.N.A.P for spending $41 Million advertising ways to get food stamps.

---

L-E story: "A man accused of firing shots at another on Terminal Court Friday faces a reckless conduct charge in the shooting, Columbus police said. * In a report, police were called to the 700 block of Terminal Court to check on gunshots, when they observed Miller stashing a .380-caliber pistol in the floorboard of his red Nissan Altima before fleeing into a nearby apartment. Police went to the apartment and took Miller into custody. * Inside the vehicle, police found marijuana and less than a gram of cocaine near the pistol. *Police said Miller was on parole for a robbery charge." -- Thank this felonious recidivist for making my point... he was using/firing an illegally possessed gun while committing other crimes... DEATH SENTENCE!

---

Online story: "The US will not put "boots on the ground" in Syria....That's the one option that's been taken off the table." -- Hmmm, how come I don't have much confidence in this Judas 00- bama position?

---

FTR, my nephew in the reserves in Florida leaves soon for Northern Africa. 00-bama is putting "boots on the ground' in worse mess than Vietnam was, and this is another French mess as well.

---

Online headline/story/pic: "Kraft Zesty Dressing Ad Offends 'One Million Moms,' Sparks Debate * A "let's get zesty" ad showing a naked man with a strategically placed picnic blanket protecting his modesty allegedly ran as a print ad in a recent issue of People, causing conservative group "One Million Moms" to write a press release calling the ad "disgusting" and saying that the company has "gone too far." * Facebook commenter Denise Mason posted: "Please don't stop this campaign with Mr. Zesty on a picnic blanket. Women love it and want more of it!!!!!"

Ease up, ladies, with Kraft's open support of Gay Pride Events and Gay Olympics, Kraft probably wasn't targeting you with this ad.

A couple who's wedding plans to go to Aruba were ruined by Hurricane Andrea were surprised with an "all expenses paid vacation " provided by the Aruba Tourism Corporation. Hmmm, wonder if the bride inquired whether that includes the search party expenses if she goes 'missing'?

---

The Avengers.. A movie from last year set a weekend box office record . the new Superman movie has raked in $151 MILLION. Seems Americans are not finding political heroes so they are wrapping themselves up in comic book ones.

---

Judas 00-bama's spinmeisters are out in force proclaiming the value of the NSA's phone-tapping being responsible for stopping acts of terror 20 +/- world wide countries . Huh? How come the NSA didn't stop Ft Hood, Benghazi, or the Boston Marathon bombing?

---

It's gonna get ugly out there when mainstream media starts using Dick Cheney as support for Judas 00-bama's actions.

---

From the 'I'm not surprised' department - Online story: The $41MILLION being spent on advertising food stamps is miniscule compared to the $749 Million spent on it. What's worse is that Judas 00-Obama's program is spending 5 times as much on food stamps as Veterans medical help.

---

Judging by the dugout paint job at the "Colllege" World Series, the proof editor for the "Central High Shcool" annual must have been in charge of painting the dugout.

---

From the "are we sure this is not a rerun headline from an April Fool's Day" department - Online headline: "Afghans Poised To Take Security Lead From U.S., NATO"

---

Online headline: "Elizabeth Warren Hits 'Big Corporate Interests' For Putting Efforts 'Toward Influencing The Courts" -- Hmm, oh! But it's OK for "Big Corporate Interests" to influence her election, though.

---

L-E headline: "City leaders expect new recycling center to 'pay for itself' -- Yeah, like it's not already costing us $42,000.00 for new, versus recycled, furniture.

---

L-E story: "ATLANTA — Atlanta police have identified the body of a man who was found in the trunk of a car. * Police found Devontavius McClain, of Griffin, in the trunk of his own car that was parked behind an abandoned apartment complex Friday. Authorities say the man had been reported missing on April 20 but foul play was not suspected at the time." -- DOH! A man is found in the trunk of his car "but foul play was not suspected at the time"? We don't need 100 more cops on the street, we need 1 smart one.
