I believe everything just said as is... well.. except that the writer misspelled "Hillary"... it should be HELLary!

WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Synovus to merge with Pinnacle in $8.6 billion deal" --Hmmmm... So... instead of "Historic GOLDEN PARK", we got "Sin-over-us Park" and now it looks like it'll become "Pinhead Park"... This really does end an 137 year "home town connection" between a bank and our Columbus, GA community... The "Bank of Here" really becomes the "Bank of WHERE?". 

Oh! “Where” is Nashville, TN…and we lose one of our few local connections with the New York Stock Exchange as well….

Gavin Newsom has filed a $787 million defamation lawsuit against Fox News and host Jesse Watters, alleging Watters falsely claimed to have knowledge of a conversation between Newsom and President Donald Trump. * The suit accuses Watters of misrepresenting the exchange to mislead the public." --  WOW! If "misrepresenting the exchange to mislead the public" is the basis of Newsom's lawsuit.. every DemoKrat politician ever elected.. including Newsom.. could be sued out of existence! And think about the "class action" suits the conservative  American voters (for that matter, the constantly “lied-to” liberal voters as well)  could bring against CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, et al… and especially “The View”

Columbus GA now has a third person declaring interest in running for the Mayor’s seat in 2026…Now I have the same problem I had when the first.. and then second person… filed their “intent” documents.. I still don’t have a candidate I can vote “FOR”! Oh, and while there is a rumor one of the set District Councilors is thinking about it, I think all the existing candidates up for re-election should concentrate on remaining in office because Columbus’ citizens needs all five of those votes to insure Columbus’ good future…

The owners of this complex are based in Florida, but we've seen so many times before.. maybe the Columbus GA Council & Mayor should pass an ordinance invoking stronger  responsibilities for maintenance when owners are not local and have no image to maintain here.
