ZAXBY’s  ZUCKS! At least the one on Bradley Park Drive here in Columbus, GA does! Personally, I stopped eating there years because service was lousy and their “portions” were small compared to other Zaxby Restaurants I’d been to…but I went and ordered my granddaughter her favorite meal there…After taxes, the drive-thru order taker said it would $11.98 ($10.99 + .99 sales taxes). I drove to the window and the clerk said, “that’ll be $12.00”.. I said, no, I have the pennies , then the “clerk-turned-JERK” proclaimed, “We don’t use pennies, we round up..  I responded, That may be your policy in some circumstances but.. pennies are LEGAL TENDER, and I have them, and I want the nickel back from my $12.03 . He argued again…then angrily gave me the nickel that was rightfully mine.. Next time my granddaughter wants Zaxby’s, I’ll take her to another one across town…

Note: I carry pennies in my console specifically to handle change at drive-thrus.. I even give pennies when the drive-thru offers to round-down when the total is .01 or .02 cents. Fair is fair in my book!

A display of Coca Cola's creation here in Columbus GA has been moved to the old YMCA building that handles The Chamber of Commerce and other Columbus business advocates...  I'm personally thrilled to see this . My great-grandfather, Joseph Albert Kirven, was YMCA President who steered the attainment and construction of the 11th Street YMCA building in the early 1900s.
