--Where did the homicides per 100K come from... the CPD doesn't report to the FBI, but these figures are way off.. In 2021, Columbus GA had over 70 homicides which is about 35 per 100K; in 2022, Columbus GA had about 48 homicides which computes to nearly 24 per 100K, and in 2023, Columbus already had more homicides by the first of October than all of 2022. Now, as for "the quality schools figure".. less than 10% of our schools get mentioned as quality schools.. and the Rainey-McCullers 6-12 specialty arts school isn’t one of them..

Stories about strange and/or unusual incidences are popping up with pleas to respond to a "GoFundMe" page... I checked out two such requests to send a donation to a cause via a "GoFundMe" site, and went online and found out that "GoFundMe" was taking 15-to-30% to process my donation... Of course I didn't go through with it... Sent in a check directly for the cost of a stamp... I think we need a LAW that makes such requests reveal how much "GoFundMe" is taking for itself... Heck, I know lawyers .. well, one lawyer, that doesn't take that much percent of court awards for himself.
