You know.. while I do not believe in abortions as a method of birth control, I also believe the issue is one with a woman/couple and God.. not a legislative one.. I take some exception though of Chief Justice Roberts apparent flip=flop oh his decision in Louisiana vs his one in a Texas case..I agree with him in that every ER is required to take in such emergencies where a person's life is at stake, but in the case where it's the result of an abortion, I think Judge Roberts should have added that in such cases, the doctor who performed the abortion be personally financially responsible for any post-abortion emergency procedures.

* - Schools remaining closed with all students continuing virtual classes at home like they ended this past school year.

 

Hmmm...what I don't see is a definite plan for screening students before they get on a school bus (have a parent required to "stay" at bus pick-ups until his/her child is cleared), or enter the school grounds.. Perhaps, using a "no contact" thermometer before students get on buses or out of cars for the first month will give an indication of what direction to take..

I understand how the last battle in the Columbus, GA area occurred April 16th. 1865.. a week after General Lee officially surrendered to General Grant.. messages had to be delivered by horse back as most telegraph lines were severed by advancing troops, but I don't see how it took over two months for the message to get to General Granger in Galveston, TX.. You have to wonder how many men on both sides were unnecessarily killed. Also, technically, even with the Emancipation Proclamation already in effect, but in two Union border states (in Kentucky and Delaware), slavery was still legal until December 6, 1865 (hmm.. wasn't Joke Biden the Delaware Senator for 3 dozen years) when the 13th Amendment freed ALL slaves. You know, now I wonder if Delaware itself ever officially banned slavery for its on records and conscience?
