It was held at Golden Park on Nov. 1. 8 the event was all about youth taking a “bold stand for the Gospel with scripture readings, testimonies, and amazing praise and worship.” *Along with food, all those who attended also received a Bible.” -- I remember my first FCA event... 1961...at Wynnton Methodist Church here in Columbus, GA and the featured speaker was Fran "The Scrambler" Tarkenton.. it was quite an event!

WRBL-TV3 story: " The Georgia Department of Transportation announced on Thursday that Harris and Muscogee Counties were awarded with $69 million for multiple resurfacing projects. * According to GDOT, the largest resurfacing project, which GDOT values at $18.8 million will consist of 14 miles of milling, inlay, and plant mix resurfacing on State Route 85 from State Route1 to North Central Church Road in Harris and Muscogee Counties.” ;--- Hmmm... you know, it used to be that Harris County needed decent roads for its citizens to drive to Columbus because of family and household needs... but now Harris County citizens just need commuter roads to get back and forth to work in Columbus while enjoying less crime and less taxes. This project just makes Columbus residents pay more in TSPLOST taxes to benefit Harris County.
