(over $80 MILLION dollars for 8 Court Rooms.. that’s $10 Million per Court Room) .Hmmm… and remember when the Columbus GA Council could have bought the old Carmike Theater’s on 13th St building for $4 or $5 million… and converted it into a self-standing Judicial Center… but didn’t?

Wow! GA Power wants us to donate money to help our neighbors pay their power bills.. in fact, GA Power will donate $1.50 for every $1.00 we donate. You know, that $1.50 GA Power is talking about is money it has siphoned off from us to begin with, and put in a slush "charity" fund so GA Power can look charitable claiming it's their earned money being donated. If GA Power were really concerned, so says my bride, GA Power should cut it's rates and be charitable to all.

Two plus weeks ago, I mentioned that the USPS had not delivered 950 plus charitable request letters mailed on October 25th. As of yesterday, NONE have been delivered! Another (among many talked with since mid-November) USPS employee my bride contacted said it’s not likely the Post Office would issue a refund.. My bride calmly responded.. she hadn’t asked for a refund.. she wasn’t worried about the couple of hundred dollars spent on bulk mail, she is worried that the $1,000s of dollars that the campaign would bring in for the displaced girls volunteer non-profit organization would not be received that would be used to buy “Christmas gifts for the girls who were separated (with great cause) from their families”. The USPS employee went silent… Pray for a Christmas Miracle! Hey, USPS.. your motto is “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”… how about adding “incompetence” and “indifference”, too!
