Maybe the problem is Columbus GA Council for putting out bids before it has the money in hand to start immediately. By NOT doing so, the Council is inviting "low-balling" in order for a company to get the contract KNOWING it can get MORE money after they get the contract. Perhaps when bids are solicited, the anticipated money be in-hand, and the contractor has to begin immediately... bet this would make sure "bids" were realistic.

"Ernie" Green, a 1958 Spencer High School graduate and former Cleveland Browns running back.” – Ernie Green is certainly  worthy of such a honor, but are other Columbus area NFL players also being considered? Robert Steele, who played at Hardaway in the mid-70s, U of North Alabama and in Super Bowl 13 with the Dallas Cowboys, and of course Jeremiah Castille from our Alabama Sister-City’s Central High, the U of Alabama (the last team coached by Bear Bryant (and made All-American team) then stellar NFL career with Tampa Bay & Denver. And also played in a Super Bowl… I’m sure there are others with football history that is worthy as well.. but Ernie Green is certainly worthy of such.

I don't remember her being upset when the Biden FBI  "searched" Trump's Florida home, or the Biden FBI’s pre-dawn raids on some  of Trump's friends.,. For that matter, I don’t think she was upset at Queen PeLOUSY turning the House into a weapon to impeach President Trump in order to distract his plan of Making America Great Again… Of course, now we see why the DemoKrats want to keep America from BEING GREAT AGAIN because it’s contrary to their agenda and mantra!
