Election Day brought up another issue about the 340 apartments/townhouses being built there...After I voted, I returned home.. but... when I tried to get back on River Road, I was met with a line of traffic blocking my egress and those wanting to enter the Wynnbrook voting facility were held up for over 5 minutes as the construction crew blocked traffic while it's equipment did it's thing.. The same will happen during school bus pick-ups and drop-offs...

Senator Joe Manchin, D-WV, needs to make his party commitment today...If he doesn't switch party allegiance, then he will become irrelevant to both parties.. As it is, if Warnock wins, then Dems will have a majority of votes without him, but if Walker wins, and he stays with the Dems, he becomes irrelevant in WV's future. There are several questions I've asked Columbus GA Council ...and the Mayor over the past 12 months... still no answer to any of them.. 1 - How much have we taxpayers have paid in legal fees for lawyers to fight the EPA on our water purity, 2 - How much in local property taxes is GA POWER paying this year?, and 3 A,B,&C- A-How much did the 25 acres on River Road get sold for?, B- When did the property get its "RO" zoning!, and C- How much in property taxes will the 340 apartments there bring us? You know, if we had local elections in November rather than May, I bet we'd have gotten an answer on all 3 questions.

Here's one example of the Georgia Power question:

While I do have sympathy for Brittney Griner being incarcerated in a Russian jail because she felt her WNBA stardom exempted her Russia's marijuana laws.. maybe she will have a great opportunity when she gets out and returns.. she could become "the Poster Child" of why our jails are "spas" in comparison, and that by "starkening" them up, maybe fewer young people would get started off on a life of crime as a career...

The Republicans did a horrible job in campaigning to get more Representatives in both the House and Senate, but the House was the worst showing.. California lost 5 Democrat Representatives alone (1 to attrition, and 4 to new Republican Congresspersons) and keeping those would have given the House back to the Democrats!
