Got an e-mail from Congressman Sanford Bishop, D-2 GA. He opens with “We won’t leave behind rural communities”. Hmm… didn’t I just report this story on last Friday – "You May Be Surprised One Of America’s Unhappiest Places Remains This Georgia Town" -- Albany, GA!” – and mention this is Congressman Bishop’s home town?

Yesterday I thought
surely Columbus GA would see some GA DOT workers cleaning up the area of the
new Double Diamond Interchange at Bradley Park Drive! Especially removing all
those damaged and superfluous (and UGLY) orange/white plastic barrels! As I
understand it, those barrels are “rented” daily… and can you imagine how
much we taxpayers have paid for the entire project!
