Remember how I brought up that the Columbus Water Works was taking a working payment system and "fixing" it? And how I said that since it ain't broke, don't fix it? Well.. after several attempts, got my old Columbus Water Works account converted to a new one at CWW.. Even reset my "autopay" option.. Put in my checking account number.. which they accepted, but... BUT then the CWW sent me a "success" confirmation e-mail which read:

"Payment Authorization Approved * Your credit card payment has been approved. * Thank you!"

Like I said.. I used my checking account number.. not a credit card number.
