I love Christmas! I loved the mechanical and whimsical Christmas windows my family store brought to Columbus to delight children of all ages... but I do believe that there is a seasonal limit to how long decorations are displayed and lights burn.. apparently, the City Manager doesn't believe as I do...but even if Uptown is the guilty displayer, we taxpayers are paying the electric bill and suffering from the "who cares" attitude...

While I haven't seen it personally... the barbed and razor-wire now strung out on the streets of Washington, DC, and what a horrible sight for visitors getting their first impression of our Capitol. On the other hand, I constantly see the barbed and razor wire strung up around 19 businesses on Veterans Parkway between River Road and 13th Street here in Columbus, GA, and pretty sure it does not present our City to visitors passing through or visitors scouting out a new city for a business venture.
