Retrospect: As we end 2022, we realized that over 500 people in Columbus, GA realized death or injury from gun shots this year. That's nearly 10 Columbus, GA people per week. .but there is more to the figures than meets the eye... First, overall.. more than 1-in-400 people were subjected to violent gun situations. If you break it down by gender, race, or gender and race, the "1-in-X" number escalates... then SOARS!

Secondly, the so-called "non-partisan" designation for the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) is far from being so...but it's the gestapo actions of the Democrat Party should be focused on! The Democrats have weaponized the IRS to where it's a threat against the Democracy we cherish.... if a former President is not afforded the personal privacy guaranteed by IRS rules and policies, who among us can feel protected? While no man is "above the law", neither is the political agenda of a Political Party. One other thing is of particular interest... the Democrats want to "redact" elements of Trump's tax returns... WHY? You can bet anything the Democrats "redact" will be items that cover their rear-ends, and cover up all details that might elevate Trump.

And if you think you are not in the eye of the IRS, think again.. since the early 80s until I became "eligible" to benefit (?) from MediCare (which I had no choice but to pay into), I've elected to be responsible for healthcare for myself and family.. and, over the years, being "self-pay" (and covering several "major" medical procedures) has paid off based on expenditures vs insurance payments. Well, this week, my bride git a "notice" from the Treasury Department (IRS) that it noticed she didn't have any medical insurance and would she like to talk with "them" about getting some "government based insurance"... This is not a laughing matter.. Looks like those 87,000 "armed" IRS agents to be added may be for pushing/processing more ObamaCRAP insurance!

From the "Inquiring minds want to know" department - A couple of years ago when hospital beds in Columbus, GA were in short supply due to Covid-19 issues, Piedmont announced opening 35 more beds in the Old Drs Hospital next door which was made possible by a donation from AFLAC... QUESTION: Are those 35 rooms still active ..still available .. I ask because a friend of mine had some major surgery this week and was moved to Atlanta for the procedure because of a shortage of rooms.

The Thomas Jefferson High School in Fairfax, VA parents should sue the "one employee" ...and the school system. for hiring said employee... who made a "one time error" by not timely informing National Merit Scholarship winners of their honors/awards given by the National Merit Scholarship Committee of the SATs. Those honors/awards determine many scholarships their children could get, so there was REAL MONETARY DAMAGES inflicted on those students and families. That "one employee" intentionally denied those students.. and their parents.. the benefit of adding those awards/honors to their college applications... and that "one employee" is still one the job being paid for by the taxes those wronged parents are paying.

The issue is about Title 42...which is a health issue to protect American citizens from diseases coming into America unchecked. Since 2017, the Washington Post has what may be the most ironic "slogan" in the history of media.. "Democracy Dies in Darkness"....yet the Post.. and Post owner Jeff Bezos.. highly benefit from "darkness". The bane of of the 1st Amendment is 'darkness", yet the Post, and every other form of MainScreamMedia benefit highly from the ever increasing money that is pouring into political ads by PACs and super-wealthy individuals promoting negative ads... character assassination ads...about opponents of a candidate of their "choice". While I am a supporter of "free speech", some reform in political donations needs to be developed.. The simplest solution would be to limit candidates to only receiving/accepting donations from individuals legally ELIGIBLE to vote FOR them, and limiting PAC ads to run ads only for candidates that a majority of the PAC members/donors are eligible to vote for or against the candidate their ads support/demean. There is nothing good.. nothing healthy.. about super-wealthy people of one state or district influencing the Congressional choices of citizens of another state or district. Time has come to reform donations and.. time has come for Congressional Term Limits...The mechanics of 435 Representatives and 100 Senators influencing the direction of America's future to primarily benefit themselves rather than the citizens they supposedly represent NEED for a definitive course direction.
