Online "story": "Rep. Liz Cheney will make a last high-profile stand against Donald Trump when the House Jan. 6 committee holds its final public meeting Monday — as sources say it's preparing to recommend the first-ever criminal charges against a former president. * It's cost the Wyoming Republican her political career to take on Trump, but she's said she has no regrets — making the case she has a higher mission: to keep him from ever regaining the White House." -- WRONG! Her "legacy" won't be about her vindictive actions against Trump, but how she abandoned the will.. and wishes.. of those those she promised to represent.

Unlike with emergency sales such as the record-setting release of 180 million barrels announced in March, this oil must be returned." -- Good grief! All this wouldn't be necessary if Biden hadn't SHUT DOWN oil production on his 1st Day in Office!

I swear to God, I hate you.” The student continues, saying, “You’re the worst teacher ever. You get me taken out in handcuffs because I won’t apologize? Because I won’t apologize, you started yelling at me. You tried to embarrass me about my paper. * Police were not called by the professor in the video but by another faculty member “only after their de-escalation efforts failed, * “the professor is very emotional and shaken by all of this,” said Gingles, the university spokesperson. “There have been several threats to her safety, which of course are cause for alarm.” * We understand that the weaponization of police is a prevalent problem in our community; however, that is not what happened in this incident,” university’s chancellor Elwood Robinson." -- "weaponization of police"? Hmmm ... and it was a female HBCU professor who asked the police to remove the student. from the classroom....the assessment of the situation as being "racists" eclipses all past and future issues.

From the "liberals twisted semantics" department - Online "headLIE" and story: "Fact check: Republican congressman falsely claims Democratic congresswoman said pedophilia isn't a crime * What Porter actually said: " this allegation of ‘groomer’ and of ‘pedophile,’ it is alleging that a person is criminal somehow, and engaged in criminal acts, merely because of their identity, their sexual orientation, their gender identity." -- Good grief! Allowing NAMBLA associated members in the LBGTQ+ world is basically criminal activity for convenience sake!
---
Online headline: "Alabama women, 85 and 61, sentenced after feeding stray cats" -- Wow! Arrested for NEUTERING feral cats.... Sounds like the game plan former Columbus, GA Mayor TT Tom-LYING-son initiated.... Who knew she could have been arrested across the river..

The property consists of a clubhouse and six residential buildings that provide 86 affordable homes to families earning below 60% AMI. It also includes 10 market rate homes. Amenities include a playground, community garden, fitness center and community laundry. BWE sourced the Freddie Mac loan after retiring a construction loan. The loan has a 15-year fixed-rate term with three years of interest payments and a 35-year amortization." -- Hmmm.. and a quick peek at the Muscogee County Tax Database shows Atlanta-based TBG bought the complex in April of 2020 for $2.3 Million, then sold it in June to Harper Woods Apartment s for $1,15 Million )half of he original expenditure, and now it's sold to another out-of-town firm for $2,7 Million. Sounds like some "fancy paper work" was involved...Now.. looking at the Tax-Database, there's no units belonging to individual "homeowners" .. looks like another taxpayer (YOU AND ME) supplemented apartment complex.. hardly one that should be considered "affordable homes"...

Online headline/story: "Georgia Considering Major Change After Herschel Walker's Loss * Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is calling for state lawmakers to end runoff elections. " -- Absolutely not! Impeach Raffensperger if he pursues such.. A Democracy can only survive when the decisions of the majority are what matters. Nowhere does Democracy say, "plurality rules"! Eliminating statewide runoffs would invigorate vote fraud in the Atlanta area!
---
Online headline/story: "Regional transportation tax celebrating 10-year anniversary * Nearly 900 projects later, the Transportation Investment Act (TIA) marked its 10th anniversary this year as a resounding success, state Commissioner of Transportation Russell McMurry told an audience of Georgia lawmakers, state agency heads, and lobbyists Dec. 5. * “We’re going to deliver every project that was promised and finish in the black,”" -- Wait a minute! "finish in the black"? That means the state DOT has taken in more than necessary, so the state needs to refund the counties based on the percentages each county paid in! There was no provision.. no condition in the ballot language that said the state could take in more money that wasn't to be spent on the projects.
---
Online headline: "Georgia should create HBCU economic prosperity planning districts, state Senate committee recommends" -- Wait a minute! Online headline: "They’re just 17-year-olds:’ Georgia lawmakers discuss bill to raise age of juvenile offenders" -- Good grief! We live...suffer... in an environment that finds 13 & 14 year old kids having gang initiation rites of shooting seniors walking down streets and ambushing police officers, and we get liberals whining about raising the age when consequences for actions can be administered... America needs to get these liberal "advocates" off the streets as well!

Good grief! All these big companies that grew and prospered during the Trump years helped elect Biden and Democrat Congresses because they didn't "like" Trump, and now they are suffering and downsizing under Biden, Schumer, and PeLOUSY, and they still don't like Trump... Go figure..
---
Online headline/story: "Border Patrol union president says agents feel 'completely defeated' ahead of Title 42's end * "The Title 42 public health order — which has allowed for the rapid return of hundreds of thousands of migrants at the southern border since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic — will expire on Wednesday due to a court ruling that found the order’s use unlawful." -- "allowed for the rapid return of hundreds of thousands of migrants at the Southern Border"? "ALLOWED"? Good grief! We shouldn't even have.. NEED .. something like Title 42! First.. people trying to cross our border without compliance to our laws are ALIENS.. not "migrants", but if our existing ... PREVIOUSLY ON THE BOOKS.. laws were enforced PROPERLY, we wouldn't need something like Title 42!
---
Online headline" "Jamaica reimposes 'state of emergency,' tourism industry threatened by high crime rate" -- Wow! Bet the Democrats are drooling at the possibility of getting Jamaica as a state, too!

The Democrat Mayor of El Paso is at wit's end dealing with the illegal aliens that are invading his town.. maybe he should bus them to Beto O'Rouke's and his father-in-law's homes for housing.
Secretary Mayorkas insists our border is SECURE.... I guess he sympathizes with those who seek ASYLUM ... I guess he CAN sympathize since he must have escaped FROM an Asylum...
---
From the "if you're liberal, I guess this sorta makes sense" department - Online headline: "Oregon must 'stay the course' on soft heroin laws despite skyrocketing overdose rates: drug law proponents" -- Hmmm ... Overdose rates are skyrocketing so "stay the course"? All I can imagine is that Democrats feel only Republican voters OD on heroin... that.... or that Democrat politicians feel each dead Oregonian can be counted on to vote for them in future elections.

I've requested the info from the Columbus GA Police Department concerning how many people in Columbus have been shot.. wounded or fatally ... here in 2022.. so far. I asked a Councilperson as well.. Haven't heard back from the Columbus Police Department, but the Councilperson did respond that though the CPD reports all to the "media", it's not reported to Council, but media could keep up with and report it. Hmmm...it's public knowledge, so why isn't it readily available on a City site to the public... or why isn't Council interested...insistent... in being informed?

From the "define accidentally" department - Dual online "headLIES": "Georgia teenager accidentally shoots himself at shopping mall" & "Florida boy, 12, dies after accidentally shooting himself at friend's house, police say" -- Guns don't go off "accidentally"... Triggers are pulled.

Was watching a pretty good Hallmark movie, but while good, it seemed terminally s-l-o-w. I looked up the details... and found out WHY it seemed that way... The movie.. with credits and such was 1 hour and 24 minutes....but the time slot was 2 hours! That meant 36 minutes of commercials.. Hallmark better get better than this!
---
Sometimes, "new technology" not a good thing.....take the current voting laws in Muscogee County (not sure of other GA counties or state situation) that require "signature match" at the polls. We use to actually fill out a signature form that a precinct official would visually compare to our Photo ID, but now we use an "stick" or fingertip to "sign", and there's no way the comparison can be "verified".

Online headline/story: "Shaq O'Neal scoffs at being named in lawsuit over FTX collapse: 'I don't understand crypto' * "A lot of people think I'm involved, but I was just a paid spokesperson for a commercial," he told CNBC Make It. "I don't understand it, so I will probably stay away from it until I get a full understanding of what it is." -- "just a paid spokesman for a commercial"? Talk about bursting the balloon of integrity for all advertising by "celebrity faces"! I've always been a fan of Shaq O'Neal as a b-ball player, movie actor, and a businessman... but I'm going to have a tough time giving him anymore credibility since he just confessed to prostituting his Name-Image-Likeness for money rather than because he had faith in the product..

After Elon Musk's 6th "dump" of internal Twitter e-mails, the question most asked has been, "Does anyone trust the FBI anymore?". I think the question should be more specific... it should be "Does anyone trust the Washington, DC FBI administration at all anymore?". I firmly believe in the field/investigative forces of the FBI, but have little faith that the "Swamp" segment will do the right thing.
