Last week, Columbus GA Council entertained deciding on possibly raising garbage fees for homeowners who have Two (or more) Black City Garbage Cans etc… Also, last week, the City did not pick-up my neighborhood’s GREEN debris cans…at all… This morning, only one of our neighborhood members put out its BLACK Garbage Cans because he probably didn’t know it’s a Federal holiday, and Monday holidays mean Wednesday garbage pick-ups..but the City sent its truck around gathering .. well..nothing! A call immediately to the City Services Department was met with “it’s not a City holiday” response… Hey Council.. y’all gotta make sure the City Manager offers better communications!
