The lack of term limits is damaging to all states... "Pecking order" for "pork" is determined by seniority.. and when a state or district sends a new person to Congress, that state/district is... basically... penalized because the elder party members quash any enthusiasm or attempts to change policies by keeping them under their thumb.. in other words, if a new representative "makes waves" the old guard can make his/her life miserable ...or short lived.. by threatening a party-supported challenger in the next primary. Even better would be to get Congressional Term Limits as an Amendment to our Constitution.
