Happy Columbus Day! Here in Columbus, GA, we still have a "Columbus" statue.. It's down on our UnderRiver Walk.. It survived the tear down stages of historic figures being torn down because most people see all the parrots flying around Christopher Columbus, and think it's tribute statue to Jimmy Buffet and his "Parrotheads".

Early voting starts tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct 15th) here in Columbus, GA, and I got a “text”  Invitation from the Democratic Party to attend an “Early Voting Block Party” (from 4:00 to 7:00) highlighting the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency as a “VERY special guest”. As it continues, a “Note” is added: “The Honorable Michael Regan will participate in this event in his personal capacity and will not speak on any issues related to his official role.” – Hmmm?  What CYA BS!!! I wanna see his “personal receipts” of his travel and accommodation expenses, and the separate expense ledger of this “BLOC” party! Mr. Regan was a Biden/Kama-LIAR appointee shortly after they assumed office. I’d also like to see what non-official accomplishments  enticed the party planners to invite him to speak… I think it’s against the law for non-elected government employees to campaign for their bosses.
One other “BLOC” party detail also needs to be clarified.. one note says, “We’ll have food and music and everything you need to cast your vote for Kamala Harris.”,  while another “note” says, “We will have food, music, and information on where to go and cast your VOTE!”. I think our Election Superintendent needs a count the number of ballots on hand at the Early Voting Centers that were present at the beginning of the day and on hand after the  voters who actually cast ballots at one of the Centers on Tuesday.. GA Republicans should also check for such Democrat events state-wide!

Congressman Sanford Bishop failed to show up at a debate sponsored by the Atlanta Press Club. His opponent, Wayne Johnson of Macon was there.. This was at least the 5th campaign event Bishop has been a “no show” this campaign season.. Bishop was represented at the debate by an EMPTY podium… hmmm… how ironic… he’s usually represented as an EMPTY SUIT! Interestingly, Bishop was “introduced” as the absent Congressman for Albany, GA… and Columbus, GA, his largest voter base,  wasn’t mentioned…

Cannot say this more seriously…. Those two Amendments plus the uncommitted referendum on GA ballots: They are all too ambiguous to be acceptable.. All allow a Mayor/Council end-run to our tax freeze.. sorta how they got around the citizens having a say on eliminating Golden Park.
