Maybe taxpayers could get MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING if they weren't taxed to pay $605.00 per SQUARE FOOT for government buildings... and don't forget, that $207,000,000.00 does not included any costs for land...Let's also pray that this and future Columbus GA officials will take better care of this building than they have the doomed Government Center on the Southside of the block.

 Wow... VW/Audi must have kept Columbus GA's officials in the dark the whole time because Columbus citizens were not aware that VW/AUDI was looking in our neighborhood. You know, a City's citizens can be a great help in landing a new industry.. prior .. and organized knowledge could have created a huge welcoming attitude for WV/AUDI decision makers.
