HuffPOOPOO headline: "Here's A List Of The Democrats Who Voted To Shut The Door On Syrian Refugees" -- Good grief..looks like the HuffPOOPOO is assembling the "hit list" for ultra-libs in 2016.

---
I thought G.I. Jillary had her own plan to defeat ISIS, but all I heard was a regurgitation of Obamageddons' for it before I was against it mantra.

---
Listening to G.I. Jillary is about the same as a drone hovering overhead.

---
You know if G.I. Jillary can't be herself and beat Bernie to be the Demo candidate, we have no chance at getting anything accomplished in a bi-partisan manner.

---
You know...I think our soldiers should be given a choice..have a say in do they want to fight terrorism on US military bases where they can't carry guns to defend themselves when confronted, or be in the field with full capability and weapons that allow them to protect themselves?

---
America loses if it doesn't take in Syrian refugees because they aren't any more dangerous than "tourists"? Good grief..Obamageddon needs to be put into a mental health facility!

---
Online headline: "ISIS video warns of attack on White House, Obama" -- You know.. When the movie "Independence Day" came out during the Clinton years, when "illegal aliens" from space blew up the White House, audiences across the country "cheered"..with over 70% of America opposed to Obamageddon's handling of ISIS and his position on Gitmo terrorists and Syrian refugees, I can imagine most of the nation saying. in unison, "WE TOLD YOU SO!" if the White House gets attacked.

---
Here's a new scenario that may determine the near future.. Obamageddon's mental melt down over the need of America to stand up for our allies may lead to his final demise..impeachment, resignation, coupe or worse. . Imagine this happening...Biden would become president, and then becomes the incumbent sitting president able to run for re-election. Man, this would spike G.I. Jillary's entire future.

---
Online story: "NBC News President Deborah Turness was telling Hispanic members of the House about NBC's integration with their Spanish-language network, Telemundo, which included a story about Pope Francis' visit to the U.S. and his meeting with a young girl who was afraid her parents would be deported because they're "illegals." * Things turned tense almost immediately when Turness began talking about undocumented immigrants and referred to them as "illegals" – a term that is not only considered offensive to many Latinos but one that has also fallen out of favor in many parts of the country. * "I'm going to stop you right there. We use the term undocumented immigrants," California Democratic, Rep. Juan Vargas (D-Calif.) told Turness, who apologized for the remark." -- Good grief.. no wonder the DOE and public education are failing our kids.. dictionaries are  now obsolete when it comes to accepted definitions that give clarity to conversations.

---
Those Yale protesters...do you think they realize that their inability to deal with conflict in an orderly manner will be available on YouTube for potential employers?

---
Those foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation...how many of those countries have received " foreign aid" from the US taxpayers?  Doesn't that make donations to the Clintons, especially when G.I. Jillary was Secretary of State, payoffs to get US taxpayers dollars in return?

---
You know..there was something hollow listening to NYC Mayor de Bl(_*_)io saying the Times Square threat was not credible. Name me one thing any Democrat has said or promised in the last 7 years that is credible?

---
Once again, Trump shows off his leadership skills and vision. Why not set up a "Safe Haven" camp for Syrian refugees...in Syria! I've already mentioned the possibilities of Saudi Arabia and/or Iran open up their countries for their Muslim neighbors. Trump is right...again.

---
Online story: "Over the weekend, people all across the world showed their support for the victims of the Paris terror attacks, but one social justice group appeared to be peeved that the horrific tragedy had taken over the news cycle. * Along with most Americans, “Black Lives Matter” supporters voiced views on the attacks via Twitter, yet instead of messages of love, the movement responded with a despicable “#F***Paris” tag, reports Breitbart." -- Hmmm.. you know.. In all this protest movement, one thing is missing, "Truth Matters"... in fact :Truth Matters Most", and one day, barring revisionist history, the truth will be what's left.

---
Once again, like the MCSD elementary GA Milestone Test school averages, 9 of the 12..75% .. of the MCSD middle schools failed to meet the State averages. The average of those 9 middle schools scores 18.44.. basically one-half of the state average, and 3 of the schools scored only 6 or 7 points! The MCSD has failed the students and the MCSB has failed Columbus.

---
I'm beginning to understand why Democrats are not alarmed at the failures in our public school system.. they consider themselves "progressives", and after Bill Clinton decided how to define "progressive", no Democrat knows that "progress" actually means you are suppose to move upward in life.

---

L-E story: " UnitedHealth Group, the nation’s largest health insurer, warned Thursday that it may exit the Affordable Care Act’s exchanges in 2017, a potential blow to President Barack Obama’s signature health care law. *  The Minnesota-based carrier said its exchange-based business has not met financial expectations. The company said it expects significant losses on its individual health plans related to the 2015 and 2016 policy years."  - Good grief.. and Obamageddon feels "climate change" is the biggest threat to his "legacy".. even if he survives "ISIS", America's slow death from OObamaCRAP will be what he's remembered for..

Thursday, November 19, 2015

NYC Mayor de Bl(_*_)sio stood up in front of cameras and said, "It’s important to note that there is no credible and specific threat against New York City.” -- "no credible....threat"?  Hmm.. you know.. it's not very assuring when a non-credible liberal cop-basher says, "What, me worry?". This is about as credible as Obamageddon's reassurance last Friday that "ISIL is contained".

---
Oh, be sure to tune into your preferred news source this morning.. G.I. Jillary has announced she will give us her plan to "take out ISIS". Hmmm.. how.. by taking out Obama like Vince Foster or Ron Brown? Or, maybe she'll just pay off Josh Earnest to tell the truth when making his daily Press Conference exchanges.

---
Online headline: "Obama threatens to veto House GOP bill on Syrian refugee screening" -- Good grief.. it's going to be tough to screen these refugees as it is simply because ISOIS is well funded and equipped to provide "authentic" papers for its jihadist army, but for Obamageddon to weaken any such screenings should get him arrested for aiding & abetting the enemy!

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Honduras Detains Syrians Bound For U.S. With Doctored Greek Passports" -- Thank goodness.. even the HuffPOOPOO recognizes Obamageddon needs to close off the US border with Mexico. Foe those who learned geography in public schools, Honduras is in Central America, just south of Mexico...
--
Oh! Has anyone put a security detail around Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam"? I do not know how this organization slips under the coverage of our media or Homeland Security...

---
Online headline: "New York City invests $2.6B to combat homelessness * The mayor of one of the largest cities in the U.S. unveiled a massive housing project on Wednesday designed to help its 58,000 impoverished." -- Good grief.. that's almost $45,000.00 a person. NYC taxpayers would be better off to offer the 58,000 $20,000.00 (or say$25,000.00 if they can clear up an unsolved crime or two) each and a one way bus ticket to a California  sanctuary city, and the taxpayers will save over a Billion dollars to boot!

---
Online headline: "Porn star slaps Josh Duggar with a big lawsuit * The reality star is currently seeking treatment for his sex addiction, but someone he paid for sex with is saying he assaulted her." -- Good grief.. this is a copycat situation for what must be the first ever reality star.. Bill Clinton!

---
Online headline: " Responding to boisterous student protests, the head of Yale University vowed on Tuesday to build a more inclusive school, in part by expanding financial aid to low-income students and creating a center for the study of race, ethnicity and "social identity." -- "exp financial aid to low-income students"? Hmmm.. Looks like the end of Yale is not too far away.. Rich liberal parents will shut off the donations when "Junior" or "Muffy" get rejected from admission for having too much money.

---
According to the US Census, there are about 777,000 same-sex couples living together in the entire 50 states.... think about that... out of 300,000,000 people in the US only about 1,500,000 are same sex cohabiting people.. that's... what .. about .005% that traditional valued people are having to kowtow to via oppressive legislation and court rulings? All I can figure out  is that the majority of those involved in same-sex cohabitation are working in mainscream media or the legal/judicial system.

Online story: "Two convicted felons intent on breaking into a Ladson, South Carolina, home last week were met with surprise when they came face to face with 13-year-old armed with a gun. * The boy saw the men breaking into the back of his home, “at which time he feared for his safety” and grabbed his mother’s gun, the document states. He began firing at them, and the Sheriff’s office reported that they returned fire. * The boy chased the suspects out of the home and continued to fire as they fled in their vehicle. The boy, who was uninjured, then called his mother, who instructed him to call the police. *  A short time later, one of the suspects, who was later identified as L*m*r *nthw*n B***n, 31, was dropped off outside the emergency room of a nearby hospital. B***n, who was shot three times, died at the medical facility. The second suspect, IrA B*****t, 28, later turned himself in to authorities. He was charged with first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime." --  Hmmm... wonder what the charges will be... against the mother... for leaving a gun where her child could access it? What about the young man (contrary to being referred to as a "boy").. will he be charged with a minor in possession of a handgun or discharging such in a neighborhood? Will the yung South Carolina man be harassed by "Black Lives Matter"? Will the local school system ban him for knowing how to handle a gun? You know what, the his mother should be given Caitlyn's award as "Woman of the Year" for teaching her child how to handle a gun properrly. Better yet, the NEA should give her a "Parent of the Year Award" for completing her child's education at home.

Oh! Wanna bet Obamageddon doesn't invite the young man to the White House?

---
Based on this weeks crime stories in the Columbus L-E, the 4th quarter crime results for Columbus will break a record!

---
How can we elect any Democrat for Senate?...None of them will vote to convict another Democrat if impeachment charges are brought. It's bad enough that Obamageddon has sent Gitmo prisoners back to their "briar patch" but now he wants to bring the rest to the US where they can be released by liberal judges and take leadership roles for the 100,000 Syrian "refugees" that Obamageddon wants to let in.

---
L-E story: This is the link to individual MCSD elementary school GA Milestone test results:

http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/local/education/article45376596.html

The real horror story is not that 75% of our elementary schools were below thw state average of 35 poits, but when you take those 24 schools and average their scores, their average is but 16.75! That means 75% of our elementary schools average less than one-half of the state average (and we know what "average" means). Even worse is that 6 of the 24 elementary schools scores less than 10 points.. one even scored only 5 points. The Ladies and Gentlemen (Thomas and Myers excepted) of the current school board should be subjected to a recall election for extending Lewis' contract.

What's sad is that the Columbus Ledger -Enquirer reporter assigned to school news will try to "spin" this as a positive.. We need to make sure all media reporters' and school personnel's  children are assigned to the bottom 6 schools so they will report the truth on the severity of the problems.
Even more discouraging is that the Title 1 Schools, which have extra federal funds (OUR tax dollars spent by bureaucrats), so their scores reflect even worse on the public education system.

OK.. this is what McDonald's response is going to be for $15.00 minimum wage protesters..

And McDonald's is working on perfecting the robo-cooks as well

Online headline: "Georgia Democrats: Brian Kemp’s ‘incompetence’ led to voter data breach" -- Oooooops, I guess the Democrats are upset that now voter records can be compared to death certificates registered in Atlanta.
---
Online headline: "Judicial Watch: Email Reveals Top Aide Huma Abedin Warning State Department Staffer That Hillary Clinton Is “Often Confused” -- Hmm... guess Huma Abedin saw that G.I. Jillary was going to reveal her plan to defeat ISIS.

Anybody know  canned tomato soup that is as good/better than Campbell's? My bride uses Campbell's Tomato  and Chicken with Rice soups in her fabulous vegetable/beef soup and she'll need a substitute.  Campbell's ad featuring two men spoon feeding some soup to a young boy while trying to mimic Darth Vader's classic line of "I am your father" has stepped over the boundaries of family values.
---
From the "only in California" department - Online story: "It may offer the best political science course on campus, but the lessons are lost on bureaucrats: UC-San Diego's fabled "Che Cafe" is awash in red ink and in need of a bailout. * Students have run the restaurant, named for Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara, for 34 years, but they've steered it into the ground. Boasting of "exorbitantly low" prices, the vegan co-op and concert venue that once hosted an up-and-coming Nirvana has cost the student body nearly $1 million over the years, and isn’t kept up to fire or safety codes." -- Excuse me, but what's the difference in this commie cafe and the Democratic Party platform?
---
Online story: "The White House was on the defense Wednesday morning for statements made by President Obama - who labeled Friday's Paris massacre that left 129 dead a "setback" -- and Secretary of State John Kerry's claim that the terrorists who in January attacked Charlie Hebdo had a "rationale."" -- Good grief.. the Democratic Party foreign policy wonks are even worse than the Democratic Party domestic policy wonks!
---
Unbelievable! I saw an ad on TV yesterday aimed at seniors for Medicare support.. Halfway through the ad, the spokesperson slightly mentioned the website is not affiliated with the government.. Guess the name of the website.. www.Medicare.com.. wh hasn't the government already shut down this site.. it has to be a scam and directs seniors away from www.medicare.gov...
---
I am shocked to learn that our local government has a Columbus (GA) Homeland Security Department.. and a director of such with a $91,495.30 salary (that's more than the Public Safety Officer (the Mayor) and almost as much as the Chiefs of Police and Fire Departments).. I've have e-mailed him rfutrell@columbusga.org and asked how many employees work for the department?
---
A L-E "soundoff": "It’s amazing how one stuffed turkey on the table can turn everyone sitting around it into the same thing." -- My bad.. forgot we are close to Thanksgiving and thought this was about an Obamageddon Foreign Policy  meeting with Kerry.
---
L-E editorial commentary: "Criminal justice reform has been a high priority in Georgia over the past few years, with some impressive results. Common-sense alternative sentencing policies have begun to ease the strain on overpopulated prisons and court caseloads. *  Columbus has done just that. Back in the spring, a group attorneys, judges and others advocating something called the Rapid Resolution Initiative approached Columbus Council with the prediction that the program would not only help ease the population of the Muscogee County Jail, but could come close to paying for itself in the process. A yearly investment of $458,000, they estimated, would save about $440,000 in jail costs. *  The early results -- early as in less than half the year for which the city put up the money -- are beyond the most optimistic predictions. Council was told at this week's regular meeting that Rapid Resolution has already saved about $406,000 in direct jail costs, and an amount in jail medical costs to zero out the rest of what the city budgeted for the program." -- Hmmm... Two important figures are missing here.. It's great news about the savings, but what are the costs expended so far, and what are the recidivism rates of the criminals already processed.. Hopefully, they will complement the savings figures.
---
L-E headline: "SOA Watch broadens protest * More focus put on closing Stewart Detention Center" -- Good grief.. the "SOA Watch" lost all it's pertinence when that was scrapped for WHIINSEC, and now wants to expand into the illegal alien issues? I know.. let's put the Syrian Refugees into the homes of this years' SOA protesters...and see if any come back next year.
---

It hasn't made the newspaper yet, but last Friday saw the passing of  Etta Gordon here in a local nursing home. Miss Etta as many knew her, came to Columbus in 2005 as a refugee from the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. She found a home in First Baptist Church and the hearts of many members. Our family was one of the ones blessed with her presence. We already miss Miss Etta. You could not have "problems" in her presence.. she countered them all.

I'm glad, in a macabre way, that the latest terror attack happened anywhere but here.. I'm glad because there would be "Jihadist Lives Matter" protesters, mainscream media sympathy interviews, and lawyers suing for police brutality.

---
Online headline: "HIV revelation already spelling trouble for Sheen" -- Hmmm.. couldn't happen to a vicer man...

---
Online story: "A lawsuit filed in state court in Stamford last month claims Boy Scout leaders knew or should have known that Ridgefield Scoutmaster Donald Dennis was a danger to the scouts in his troops and did nothing to protect them. Dennis died two years ago.  Seventeen men and two women are suing the Boy Scouts of America and local chapters in Connecticut, saying a now-dead scoutmaster sexually abused them when they were children in the 1960s and 1970s." -- Excuse me, but where were the victims when the (_*_) could have been held personally responsible? Oh, and where were these people when the BSA was being sued to allow known homosexuals to be Scoutmasters?

---
Online headline: "Blizzard to bury Colorado" -- Wow.. don't you know there will be a stock-up run on the pot shops and the munchie sections of convenience stores..

---
There's a new list of "The Ten Safest Cities in America"  -- Hmmm.. guess iy=t could look lie a "menu" to jihadists. Personally, the list should include South Chicago.. you know.. a bait and switch plan.. so that when Jihadists pulled out their guns, they'd find themselves surrounded by armed thugs.

Oh, Columbus wasn't on the list..

---
Online headline: "John McCain On Refugees: 'All Children Are God's Children'" -- Hmmm.. then how about him opening up his home a the official "Welcome and Registration Center" for illegal aliens crossing in through Arizona...

---
Why are Europe and America being targeted by Muslim refugees for war torn Mid-East and African countries? Why aren't Saudi Arabia and Iran the leading destinations?

---
Online story: "Anthony Riggs had always loved animals. The 57-year-old had just adopted a stray Rottweiler from the county pound hours before it mauled him to death, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Office." -- Yeah.. I'm convinced dogs raised to be violent will change when loved.. sorta like I believe jihadist will cry when apologized to, and welfare without work will encourage people to be productive.

---
After looking at the test scores for Harris and Muscogee County school systems.. why don't we see if we Muscogee County parents/taxpayers can arrange a swap of Superintendents and Board members.. maybe even throw in some cash... OK.. a lot of cash.. to sweeten the deal?

---
You know..those stores and networks that "dumped" Trump early are going to be embarrassed when Trump becomes president

---
Ford has "stepped" in it as far as I'm concerned...what's with this "friends and family" pricing promotion...I want to know why I've never been offered such special pricing in the past. And it means I'm probably not going to deal with them in the future.

---
Online story: "Philadelphia's mayor on Monday called gun violence in American cities "domestic terrorism" that is no different from international terrorism." -- Hmmm,  the only thing that "is no different" is the way Obamageddon defends such thugs...

---
Hollande declared "war" and wasn't concerned about "collateral damage" as he ordered an all out leveling of Raqqa. When a country of Muslims has 22,000,000 people and 17+ million of them stay in either support or tolerance of the ISIS/jihadist.. there are no "innocent bystanders".

---
Online story: "Most U.S. governors have made clear they don’t want Syrian refugees in their states after the deadly Paris terror attacks, but only Congress appears to have the authority to stop President Obama’s plan." -- Republican candidates should make this the issue they pummel Democrats on.. even after 9-11-01, the initial "patriotism" of liberals had ceased to exist by 30 days after it..and once libs are reassured that the jihadists didn't destroy the wineries of France, then US libs will be back to their normal demeanor.

From the "talk about hitting the nail on the head" department - Online headline/story: "It’s OK to Pray for Paris But We Suspend a Football Coach for Praying After a Game? * New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson took to social media to point out the hypocrisy in this. *  Watson was of course referring to Joe Kennedy, a Washington state high school football coach who refused to comply with district orders to stop praying on the field after games." --  Share this link:

From the "well, you wanted equal justice" department - Online story: "A lesbian mother in Alabama filed an emergency petition with the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday, asking it to review her case after state judges ruled she has no legal parental rights over the children she says she helped raise. * The woman, known in court filings by her initials V.L, petitioned the high court to step in after the Alabama Supreme Court held that she was not the legal parent to the three children she shares with her ex-partner (who gave birth to them by artificial insemination)." -- Well.. stepdads get no legal rights either in a divorce or separation of a co-habitation setup.. She wants equality.. well then she needs to just shut up.

---
Mike Gaymon has written a book.. "A View from the Backhoe" inspired by his endeavors to improve "his lot.. in life and in Harris County 20 acres. Should be a good read .. I did note from the tax records of Harris County, that he bought those 20 acres in December of 2010, shortly after Mayor ObamaLYINGson was elected.. Hmmm.. what foresight...maybe we should consider this a better endorsement of keeping the tax freeze rather than the endorsement "for it" coming from the current Chamber executive.

Psst.. Mike do I get a free copy for the "plug"?

---
Online story: "When a Yale student's angry meltdown at a professor went viral, viewers may have noticed the crowd gathered and some students snapping their fingers. It's the currently preferred method of showing approval in some circles, given complaints that traditional clapping can be "triggering," or even painful to hands unaccustomed to work. Although the curious digital trend is catching fire with the college crowd, it is not new or confined to the U.S. * “I see it in discussion-based classes," Brown University student Cara Dorris wrote in 2013 in her school newspaper. "When people hear an idea they agree with, they will start to snap.”" -- Good grief.. this is a copycat move of Elle Woods from "Legally Blonde" which was used in her sorority and she took it to Washington, DC. I know Yale and other Ivy League schools' parents are just thrilled at what their darlings are "learning"...

---
Obviously, Obamageddon felt that bathing the White House in Red, White, and Blue lights to honor France and the American taxpayers would offend IISIS, but why didn't he feel that "flooding" the White House with the colors of the Rainbow flag would irritate ISIS more?

---
Online headline: "As predicted, new Georgia Milestones school test results lower than last year" -- "as predicted"? Whatta condemnation of our education system.. and the media.. it also, especially in Columbus, GA highlights how the local newspaper can.. no does.. defend every move  and decision of the MCSB and Superintendent. Guess it also explains why newspaper subscriptions are at all time lows.. the graduates of public schools can't read.

Passed along from a fellow BCer.
From the "questions I'd like to hear from a Democratic Party debate moderator" department:

Presidential Debate---Proposed Questions For Hillary

These are all true.

Moderator: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Let's start the first question with you Mrs. Clinton.

"When you left the White House after your husbands last term as president, why did you steal $200,000.00 worth of furniture, china, and artwork that you were forced to return?

and Mrs. Clinton, when you were Secretary of State, why did you solicit contributions from foreign governments for the Clinton foundation after you promised President Obama you would not?

Mrs. Clinton, why do you and your husband  claim to contribute millions of dollars to charity for a tax write off when it goes to your family foundation that gives out less than 15% of the funds you collect and you use the balance to support yourself tax free?

Mrs. Clinton, why are you unable to account for $6 billion of State department  funds that seem to have disappeared while you were Secretary of State?

Mrs. Clinton why did you say you were broke when you left the White House, but you purchased a $2 million home, built an addition for the secret service, and charge the tax payers of the Untied States rent in an amount equal to the entire mortgage?

Mrs. Clinton why did you lie to the American people about the terrorist attack in Benghazi when you managed to tell the truth to your daughter the same night it happened?

Mrs Clinton why did you lose your law license? Why did your husband lose his?

Mrs Clinton, what really happened to Ron Brown when he was about to testify against you and your husband?

Mrs. Clinton what really happened to Vince Foster ?

You have 2 minutes to respond Mrs. Clinton.

A Jonathan Gruber incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff"; "A wiser way to spend school system money: Have more 1:1 reading teachers for struggling readers, and no academic coaches." -- Good grief.. based on the results of the GA Milestone tests, we;d need 32,000 plus reading teachers to show any improvement.. of course that would require another SPLOST to double the school sizes to handle twice the number of people it now can handle. I almost would put out a line on this "soundoff" coming out of Dr Lewis' office...

---
Why is it that the Republican Party is the only group wanting to crack down on refugees/illegal alien's coming into our country " This should be the number one concern of Obamageddon.

---

L-E Editorial headline: "MCSD’s Lewis gets an extension and a challenge" -- Good grief.. what he should have gotten is a warning..and questioned as to why he didn't release the GA Milestone test results last week so the figures could have been scrutinized before any discussion about an extension.

Tuesday, November 17, 2015

Did you catch, or even think about the hypocrisy when Chelsea was pregnant?  G.I. Jillary was so excited about Chelsea carrying her grandchild... yet all other pregnant women are just carrying fetuses.

---
Online story: "In the very midst of the Paris bloodbath Friday night, Salon Magazine published a shameful piece suggesting that the blame for such horrific terrorist attacks falls on the “incendiary rhetoric” of America’s conservative movement and “right-wing media” for using strong language against progressives." --  Hmmm... Sadly, "Salon" is the European equivalent of the New York Times and Time Magazine..

---
Online headline: "IN JUST 4 YEARS: HALF OF SYRIAN POPULATION OF 22 MILLION HAS BEEN KILLED, DISPLACED OR FLED THE COUNTRY * There are nearly 4 million Syrian refugees in five host countries" -- Hmmm ... 4,000,000  refugees... and 250,000 killed....you know what that means.. there are still over 17,000,000 who support or tolerate ISIS and jihad.. that doesn't sound like "a few radical Islamists".

---
Online story: "Three days after teams of Islamic State terrorists brazenly carried out raids across Paris that left 129 people dead, President Obama labeled the slaughter a "setback" in responding to questions about his policies." -- "a "setback"? I guess Obamageddon is taking a page out of the Clinton playbook and redefining "setback"..  I guess he means that he's gonna "setback" in his Oval Office and try to book a tee time somewhere.

---
America's darkest hour... I was convinced 7 years ago that nothing could redefine the the decline of America's world wide respect and importance that when Obamageddon went on his "apology tour" and bowed down to Mid-Eastern despots. I stand corrected.. since then, he has undermined our police forces,  redefined America's Darkest Hour by not standing with our ally, France, in one of it's darkest hours..This will be Obamageddon's legacy.

---
You know.. Jimmy Carter must be feeling blessed at this moment.. now there's clear separation between him and Obamageddon as the indisputable worst president in our history.

---
While France's Hollande's response was inspirational,  there are close to 50 mosques in Paris teaching Sharia law and jihadism. Looks like these should be next on Hollande's plan.

---
Remember that L-E story I reported on yesterday on the MCSB voting on extending Superintendent Lewis' contract for another year? Well it turns out that either the L-E either did not bother to check it's files, or just ran "spoon fed" info that the MCSB would be voting on extending Lewis' original 3-year contract that ends at the end of this school year for one more year. AS it turns out,, that had already been done last year and this extension is to extend the previous extension another year. Now we taxpayers are on the hook financially until July of 2018. We don't just need more MCSB members like Thomas and Myers, we need a new newspaper.

---
Online story: "The Ku Klux Klan’s attempt to “adopt” a stretch of highway in north Georgia is headed to the state’s Supreme Court. And the hate group’s case will be defended by a surprising ally: One of the nation’s leading civil rights organizations." -- Hmm.. I have a suggestion.. let's just ban white and black hoodies altogether.. both seem to be gang/terrorist symbols.

---
L-E headline: "Columbus Parks and Recreation wins Agency of the Year Award" --  Hmmm... Obviously, staying within a budget wasn't a necessity.

---
Around the world, nations lit up iconic public buildings/landmarks in "Red, White, and Blue" in solidarity with France.... Did anyone see the White House or Capitol Building in Washington  lit up in the "Red, White and Blue"?. Hmmm...guess Obamageddon didn't want to do this and make American think he was in solidarity with the American people.

Also didn't notice any symbols of solidarity with France in any Muslim countries, either.

Online story: "UNIVERSITY Of MINNESOTA: Delicate Little Snowflakes REJECT Annual 9/11 Remembrance Out Of Fears It Could Be “Unsafe” And “Offensive To Muslim" -- Hmmm.. well, let's just pack up the U of Minnesota students and faculty on 9-10-16 and send them to Syria where 9-11 as a celebratory National Holiday.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "John Kerry: Syria Ceasefire Could Happen Within Weeks" -- Hmmm.. a drone carrying a nuclear warhead hovering over Syria would probaly make that happen tioday.

L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCORES BELOW STATE AVERAGE IN TESTS * Still beat other second-tier schools in Georgia Milestones exams *  The Muscogee County School District scored below the state average in all but one of the 32 tested subject in grades 3-12 on the state’s new and more rigorous standardized exams. MCSD’s performance, however, looks better when measured against districts similar in size and demographics. *   The only tested subject in which MCSD didn’t rank below the state average is ninth-grade literature & composition, where the district matched the Georgia average of 38 percent scoring at the proficient or distinguished level.  *  But when compared to the county school districts of Bibb (Macon), Chatham (Savannah) and Richmond (Augusta) — Georgia’s other second-tier cities — MCSD compares favorably." -- Good grief.. the MCSD tied one category average.. , and the L-E has only compared MCSD scores with systems which had scoresworse than ours. How about showing the good systems.. Ypu know, there'll be a day that a future MCSB will be filled with members like Thomas and Myers who will want to find a Superintendent who has run a successful school system.

---
Instant repeat: "L-E headline/rest of story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCORES BELOW STATE AVERAGE IN TESTS * Still beat other second-tier schools in Georgia Milestones exams  *  Taking the average proficient and distinguished rates in all tested elementary school grades and subjects, MCSD’s average is 27, which beats Bibb (20), Chatham (26) and Richmond (13). The state average is 36 percent. * In middle school, while the state’s average is 34 percent, MCSD’s is 25, which beats Bibb (18), Chatham (23) and Richmond (17).
  *  In high school, while the state’s average score on eight end-of-course subject tests is 36 percent, MCSD’s is 34, which beats Bibb (15), Chatham (27) and Richmond (21)." --  Judging by the regressive nature of scores from our High Schools (34 vs 36)  to Middle Schools ( 25 vs 34)  to Elementary Schools (27 vs 36), we're going to be looking for a new superintendent  before his new contract extension expires..

Oh.. and when will we get the scores of the individual schools.. especially the ones that have been the focus because of their continually failing atmosphere?

---
L-E story: "Imagine 13th Street closed to vehicular traffic from Lakebottom to Broadway. The urban planners from Gehl Studios can, and it’s one of the ideas they brought to Columbus this evening in their final presentation of the Minimum Grid plan to better connect different sections of the city. * Thirteenth Street would not be closed to traffic permanently, of course, nor even very often, but only for possibly half a day on a Saturday or Sunday, every now and then." -- Good grief.. while it wouldn't affect EMS ambulances, imagine a family in southwest quadrant Columbus, even Overlook, trying to get to a hospital in an emergency.. Liberals' "good intentions" are laced with too much lack of reality.

---
Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The one-day garbage collection is working well. A special thank you to the men who do this work. The garbage cans are twice as heavy to lift, and they do it rain or shine." -- Obviously sent in by Mayor ObamaLYINGson or one of her minions..please note there is little concern for the men's health as they have to lift heavier, and twice as many cans of garbage on pick up days..can you not see the additional back-related injuries that will run up the osts of our jail's medical expenditures?

---
Senator Diane Feinstein stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Trump thinks the Paris attacks would have been different if French laws allowed more people to carry guns. Yeah, it would be easier for potential terrorists to get guns." -- Good grief.. France already has gun laws on the books that make Feinstein salivate like Pavlov's dogs.. which of those laws worked at keeping the terrorists from bringing them into Paris?

---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Since others have to tolerate my weaknesses, it is only fair that I should tolerate theirs.” — William Allen White, American journalist (1868-1944). -- Hmmm.. another timeless adage that will not be posted on the walls of any Obamageddon office.

Monday, November 16, 2015

Ah! It's Monday.. time for the Breakfast Club Weekend Update:

---
You know.. I think the best plan to eradicate Islamist terrorism is to ally our military with our European friends and India, load in the combined naval units to flood the Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean with aircraft carriers, then give Saudi, UAE, Yemen, Omanand Dubai a "window" of opportunity to use their vast resources  solve the areal problem, and if those countries cannot or will not do so, take over those five countries, strip the ruling families of all their assets, and take over all the oil fields. . I'm tired of knowing those five countries seem to be able to avoid Islamist terrorists by basically funding them enough that the ISIS leaders leave them out of the skirmishes.

---
Random thought: Has anyone yet heard Obamageddon call ISIS "terrorists"? For that matter, has he called them ISIS rather than ISIL?.

---
Does mainscream media even know (well it certainly doesn't want to acknowledge this) that Obamageddon, just hours before the dastardly attacks in Paris, had stated irrevocably that, "What is true, from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq and in Syria they'll come in, they'll leave. But you don't see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain." Please note Obamageddon's "quote" still refers to ISIL... not ISIS.. the difference being that ISIS is the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, and ISIL is the acronym for  for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.  Obamageddon prefers to use ISIL because it groups Israel in with the terrorist Islamic nations.

---
Online story: "U.S. Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was criticized in a debate on Saturday for her 2003 vote backing the U.S. invasion of Iraq, with rival Bernie Sanders linking it to regional chaos that aided the rise of Islamic State militants." -- Good grief.. why would Sanders pick on G.I. Jillary about her "yes" vote when she's already said and apologized for "being for it before she was against it"?  Is there something in the Democrat Code that prohibits one Democrat asking another Democrat about some pertinent disqualifying event in another Democrats record?  Whether Bernie is tired of talking about her e-mails or not, and Benghazi, this nation needs to know the answers. The less those events are talked about, the less chance G.I. JIllary has to trip herself up on another lie.

---
Liberalism is a mental disease.. no wonder other liberals want to keep guns out of their hands.. Yesterday morning, when I turned on my TV, George Step-on-his-own-nose was on hosting his show on ABC (don't think I watch ABC news shows, but I went to bed during the football game) with an unnamed guest, and tey were interviewing Congressman Adam Schiff, D-CA). The conversation was about the Paris attacks and a lot of false machismo was being banty-henned about. All of a sudden, the unnamed guest injected that we can't be certain this was as widespread a coordinated assault as we is being assumed, after all it could have been a series of different attacks that just happened to be at the same time..silence.. neither George of the Democrat Congressman commented, but Step-on-his-own-nose quickly  shoed the idiot off the set.

---
Then I read the L-E's guest commentator's comments headline: "John A. Tures: Putin taking it out on Syria" -- Good grief..is the L-E so financially strapped that it can only hire Junior Varsity editorialists who are associate professors at a small college?

---
Online story: "A Democratic candidate for the Minnesota House ended his campaign Sunday, hours after he tweeted that the Islamic State group "isn't necessarily evil" and its members were doing what they thought was best for their community." -- "its members were doing what they thought was best for their community."? Good grief.. that is exactly the mantra the Democrat Party tries to buy votes with!

---
Online story: "Hillary Clinton and the other Democratic presidential candidates are being criticized for declining in Saturday night’s debate to use the worlds “radical Islam,” following the deadly terror attacks in Paris." -- Well, what did you expect.. the Democrat in the White House feels that calling them terrorists is just an antagonistic label, and  Democratic Party candidates are running on the mantra that ISIS "members were doing what they thought was best for their community".

---
Online story: "The Department of Defense announced late Sunday that five detainees at the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba have been released and sent to the United Arab Emirates" -- Good grief.. why? Maybe Obamageddon wants to save time and money by sending the jihadists back to the country that funds them so they can pick up their back pay and new weapons at the same time..

---
Hey, Obamageddon...why not put those terrorists from Gitmo in Debbie Wasserman Schultz's district?

---
Will someone ask Senator Feinstein where the assault weapons used in Paris came from? France has laws prohibiting assault weapons.

---
Jonathan Gruber inspired Mayoral LIV minion's Sunday L-E "soundoff" : " The reserve fund balance would be in better health if the city didn’t have to pay the legal fees of Sheriff Darr and Clerk Bishop. It will help when those fees are recovered." -- Besides the fund balance being used to pay for Mayor ObamaLYINGson's personal whims, it hasn't been the legal fees of Darr and Bishop (sic - I guess he/she meant  Pierce), it's been the legal fees run up because of the legal team the mayor assembled from her friends to fight the law that has resulted in those massive legal fees,

---
Online headline: "Baltimore records 300th (up 42 percent from last year) homicide of the year" -- Hmmm.... wonder if Mayor Rawlings-Blake will award the "Freddie Gray Memorial Award" to herself...or will the State Attorney challenge her for it?

---
You know, Democrat presidential candidates do not feel that the US should roam the world toppling 3rd world dictators.. I agree, but Democrats don't understand what a real leader with a strong sense of the power of perception can do to strike fear in despots hearts and comfort in our allies. Obamageddon, G.I. Jillary.. even Slick Willie , and all the Democrat pretenders to the throne, believe apologies and smiles will accomplish this. Reagan had it right... when Gaddafy rattled his saber, Reagan pulled a Teddy Roosevelt proven tactic out (sorta like the quiet demeanor Marlon Brando had as "the Godfather"), and sent missiles in that took out Gaddafy's compound guard towers, and Gaddafy's pet goat which was tethered in the compound.. it got quiet real quick in Libya.

California Governor Moonbeam Brown likes to make laws that ban or restrict consumer uses of water, yet, he hasn't banned major California companies from bottling and selling water from drought stricken California lakes/rivers. You can only wonder, "who owns Moonbeam Brown?"

---
You know, now that our youngest has begun college, my bride and I have been discussing travel destinations for next year and beyond.. Paris and a Seine river cruise were tops on our list.. I do believe that one will be scratched off.

---
You know.. during the 9-11-01 Islamist jihad on America, the group of passengers on Flight 93 recognized their fate, but rather cowering in their seats waiting to die, they rushed the jihadist and got the plane to crash into an open field in Pennsylvania rather than the jihadist mission be complete by taking out our White House or Capitol Building. I wonder why the closest concert goers didn't do the same when the terrorists were methodically shooting other people and calmly reloading their weapons in order to shoot more. I do believe I might have charged them, and by doing so, encouraged other to do the same and disable the terrorists at the risk of sacrificing my own life to save others.

Soapbox Moment: Uptown Columbus needs new leadership.. the Halloween event this year was a fiasco... long lines to get in, and long slow lines to get candy and every table had the same candies.. we had attended the year before (even participated when we had our Broadway business) when children walked the open area in the 1000 block of Broadway, so we know the difference between something that works and doesn't work.

Saturday, we ventured back down to an Uptown Columbus sponsored event.. one introducing the era of areal food trucks. Low and behold, we were hit with long lines and a $5.00 per person "cover charge"...and Uptown offered nothing for that $5.00, and the actual food truck set up was so poorly planned that lines waiting for food blocked free roaming to just get an idea of what the individual trucks had to order.  Too boot, there was also beer vendors aplenty at another part of Woodruff Park. I wonder if the food truck/beer vendors would have liked the patrons to have that "cover charge" money ( $30.00 for my family) in the patrons' pockets to spend on their food/beer offerings and tips?

Hmm... other than no activities that would justify a $5.00 per-person  "cover charge" you'd think that there would be adequate bathroom facilities for all the children there ..plus the beer drinkers who could roam the are from 1:00-9:00... but there were no port-a-potties to be seen, and I'm pretty sure that the RiverWalk toilet wasn't going to be adequate for the beer drinkers... besides who wants to take their children into the RiverWalk bathroom?

It also made me think about why all that tax money that has been spent on the 14th Street Bridge and the Queen TT Lounge, yet, this event wasn't scheduled there.

Yes, Uptown Columbus needs new leadership.

For the first time, the walk night at the Fantasy of Lights at Callaway was held on a Saturday.  My bride had participated in it once before we got married in 2000, but since then Sunday evenings have been built around our children's youth avtivities at our church. This year was different. We were able to get all our daughters and son, plus our granddaughter (now at the very appreciable age of 3),  to commit to doing the walk . You could do it one of two ways.. the full walk was 7 miles (the last two were the unlit trip back to the parking lot), but if you wanted to do a 5 mile venture, shuttle buses would be at the end of the decorated section and whisk you back to the parking lots. WE opted to do the shuttle bus because we didn't think walking 2 miles in the dark with our 3 year-old would be agreeable with her after she had "seen the lights". We finished the 5 miles then stood in line to catch the shuttle bus back.. and we stood, and we stood and we stood. Not enough shuttle buses were engaged, and it took us 50 timed minutes to get a seat on a bus. 50 minutes standing in mid 40 degree temps while passing around our Sophia in attempts to keep her warm as well as "occupied". If we had known this, we could have just kept walking and gotten back to the parking lots sooner. I would think after two plus decades of the "walk night", Callaway would know how to run an efficient shuttle service..

Online story: "A Massachusetts agency is letting a woman who belongs to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster wear a colander on her head in her driver's license photo after she cited her religious beliefs." -- Hmmm ...yet I couldn't go to a school in Massachusetts and pray to Jesus even though it's my religious belief...

---
It must have been hard for UGA & Auburn fans to tune the pre-game shows on ESPN & the SEC Network and not see their fans or campus . Good grief..one if, if not "the" longest, rivalry was relegated to be the opening act for the real games later on.

---
Random Thought: "Abortions..I have an idea..allow them up to 2 months, no questions asked. After two months, offer a compensation package that includes housing and medical services for the mother during this period in exchange for irrevocable contracts in which both the mother and baby daddy sign away all their parental rights, and let people adopt the blessed babies for just the medical costs and no lawyers involved.

---
Online story: "CBS News reportedly reworked the format of its Saturday night Democratic debate agenda to focus more on terrorism, national security and foreign policy, in the hours following the deadly terror attacks in Paris." -- "reworked the format... to focus more on terrorism, national security and foreign policy"? Of course.. you didn't think CBS would have originally planned to delve on pertinent issues on its on accord, did you?

---
Online headline: "Frances vows to destroy ISIS" -- Hmmm... wonder why CBS didn't invite François Hollande to it's liberal fest Saturday night?

---
You know, I have a new entry to put on the ballot for the World's Toughest Job" contest.. Fact-Checker for a Democrat Party debate...

---
Oh! Got an E-mail from Bill Clinton saying he hopes" HILLary can count on me".  Yeah, like she counted on him? Here's something she can count on also..I will not vote for G.I. Jillary under in circumstance.

---
There needs to be one more act in the Missouri political debacle.  Missouri needs to resign from the SEC. If they don't, the SEC needs to fire Mizzou.

---
Oh! Remember me posting the info on a house that sold for in excess of $1,000,000.00 that was being carried in the tax digest as being worth only $325K? Got a response from Mayor ObamaLYINGson about the lack of up-to-date evaluations on non-exempt. She said, (and I quote)

"Hal - You may not be aware that we are doing this currently. There have been several council presentations on the process and the progress.

Teresa Pike Tomlinson
Mayor
Columbus Consolidated Government

Well, I responded:
Mayor -
Oh, in other words, you've been trying to find a way to undermine the freeze rather than solving the real solution .. collecting taxes on old info. It also means that for 5 years, on your watch, you've allowed situations such as this, and many others, to exist..

Hal

From the "we ain't gonna give a full description because we don't want to be "profilig" anyone" department: "Three 16-year-old inmates, including one facing a capital murder charge, escaped a juvenile detention center in downtown Houston early Sunday morning after one of them allegedly assaulted an officer and stole his keys. *  Alferis Coby, asked a supervision officer for toiletries just after midnight.
"He got the officer to open the door," Brooks said, adding that Coby "beat him down pretty badly." *  Alferis Coby took the officer's keys and cell phone and freed two other inmates — Jahrell West and an unnamed juvenile — * The three inmates, who were still at large, were wearing white shirts and khaki pant, he said." -- Hmmm.. guess we are going to just have deduct from the names to fill-in-our-racist-minds as to the color of the escapees...Good grief..an escapee's color is an important description that would increase the community's ability to aid the police in locating these criminals...

---
Online headline: "Zebras captured after wild chase in Philadelphia" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought fans caught up with the refs following the Eagles' loss to Miami...

Online headline: "Madonna breaks down at concert over Paris attacks * The pop icon addressed the deadly attacks in Paris during her concert in Stockholm on Saturday night, delivering an emotional speech. * 'Why am I up here dancing ...' -- "why am I up here dancing"? Hmm.. the real question is why has M(_*_)donn(_*_) been dancing for the 7 years Obamageddon has let down the US and the World?

---
L-E "headlie":  "OBAMA FACES HARD CHOICES WITH PARIS ATTACKS" -- Good grief.. manning up is not a "choice", it's a necessity!

---
L-E headline: "Inquirer: Vandals darken end of RiverWalk" -- As I recall, GA Power uses glass globes that cost better than $300.00 a pop (pun intended). Surely there are less expensive globes than can sustain a thrown rock.

---
L-E story: "The Muscogee County School Board will vote on a contract extension for Superintendent David Lewis at a meeting tonight. * The meeting is at 6 p.m. in the Muscogee County Public Education Center on Macon Road. *  Lewis was named superintendent in July 2013 and was given a three-year contract." -- Hmmm.. well .. let's pray that it's only a 6-months extension so he'll have a little cushion if he doesn't improve things by the end of June, and let's hope we get more than 2 votes for not even offering an extension any longer than that..

---
Jonathan Gruberesque incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " All we need for gun control is stopping the sale of bullets." -- Good grief.. How about prompt incarceration and execution of criminals using guns in a crime.. that would be a whole lot better way to stop abuses of guns.

---
Interesting L-E "soundoff: "Can anybody explain why there weren’t any flags at the Fort Mitchell cemetery, especially on Veterans Day? -- Hmmm.. my guess would be that the caretaker is a Democrat, and was kowtowing to Native American requests to not fly a flag that displaced them, killed them or contained them in reservations..

---

L-E's "Thought for Today, “An American who can make money, invoke God, and be no better than his neighbor, has nothing to fear but truth itself." -  Marya Mannes, American critic (1904-1990)." -- Hmmm  .. little did Ms Mannes foresee the emergence of Obamageddon.. now making money, loving Christ, and  helping your neighbor gets you vilified by the IRS, the DOE, & DOJ, and persecuted by mainscream media.

I wanted to throw a rock at my TV last night listening to Geraldo as he talked to his daughter in Paris. Now, after defending Obamageddon for 7 years, NOW Geraldo wants the president to do something .

How embarrassing...Poop Pat made a stronger response to the ISIS terrorist attack in Paris than Obamageddon.

Looks like we have confirmation that Jihad John is, in fact, dead.. What difference did it make to the citizens of Paris? When you cut one head off the Hydra, two more grow in it's place.

---
I'm glad Jihadi John is dead, because if he survived, he would have become a worse threat than before..The Islamic world just thinking he's alive and had defeated the Great Satan would make him a legend to other jihadist.

---
You know.. when we kill terrorists.. and even when they kill themselves .. they have the expectation of having 72 virgins awaiting their after life arrival.. so, let's make it a policy to remove and place their genitals on sticks next to the highway with a sign that says.. "you can't take it with you".

Online story: "Russia's track and field federation was provisionally suspended Friday by the sport's governing body, keeping the country out of international competition for an indefinite period - possibly including next year's Olympics in Brazil. * The suspension was approved by a 22-1 vote during a teleconference of the 27-member council of the International Association of Athletics Federations. * IAAF President Sebastian Coe convened the meeting after Russia was accused of widespread, systematic doping in a report released Monday by a World Anti-Doping Agency commission."- Gimmee a break... Rusia was "banned" simply because of anti-Putin politics...

Online headline: "'Profoundly sorry,' Jared Fogle asks for minimum term * Fogle's attorneys have asked for less than half the jail time of what prosecutors are aiming for in an ongoing child pornography scandal." -- It's about time J(_*_)red learned the true measure of a "foot-long".

Online headline/story: "People from this group breathe the most toxic air in the United States * folks who live in California and the Northeast are the worst off." -- Folks that live in California and the Northeast are the worse off"? Good grief.. after researching he voting records for 10 states and DC, it's the voters of the other 40 states that are the worse off! Those 10 states and DC breathing in the most toxic air have 159 Electoral College votes so the only need 111 (29%) out of the other 379 Electoral College votes split between the other clean air 40 states to win the presidency.

Online story: "A federal judge ruled Thursday that Baxter County in north Arkansas violated the Constitution by displaying a Nativity scene on the courthouse lawn." -- Good grief.. I wish the same judge would make the ruling on a display showing a jihadist beheading a Christian Congressman...

---
Online story: "Illinois Lottery ticket sales dropped to the lowest point yet this year in October, the same month lottery officials announced they were delaying payouts over $600 because of the state budget impasse, according to data obtained Thursday by The Associated Press." -- This is what happens when you put Democrats in charge of fund raising but have to have a balanced budget.. Hey Columbus Council.. how about shutting off recreational arenas that need taxpayer supplements to remain open!

---
Online story: "High-level talks to free the Pakistani doctor imprisoned there ever since his role in a ruse to uncover Usama bin Laden’s hideout have broken down, a key military and intelligence source told FoxNews.com, saying Shakil Afridi remains too unpopular in his homeland for officials to consider a swap." -- Good grief.. Obamageddon swapped out 5 jihadi terrorists for traitor Bergdahl because "he didn't want to leave a man behind", but is content to leave the man who enabled the death of Osama bin Laden behind.

---
Online story: "Over half of all illegal immigrants in California earn incomes so low that they would be eligible for Medi-Cal – the state’s Medicaid system, a new study has found – just as the California legislature is poised to extend health insurance of children in the country illegally." -- Here's the one issue the Republican Party should base it's entire election campaign on in California.. surely there are enough "legal" Americans who are fed up with this government crap!

Soapbox Moment: How could the L-E print the MCSD propaganda about the increased graduation rate without noting that the these numbers represent the first graduating class that was not required to take, to pass a Graduation Test? The only pertinent info in the whole story was the info about how much higher the graduation rate was in Harris County when the Graduation Test was required.

Online story: "A U.S. appeals court on Thursday unanimously rejected a constitutional challenge to the death penalty in California, overturning a lower court ruling that had found the system too arbitrary.
 * A California prisoner, Ernest Jones, had argued that long delays in the judicial process surrounding the death penalty in California made the punishment arbitrary and unconstitutional. Jones was sentenced to death by a jury in 1995 for the rape and murder of his girlfriend's mother." -- Now what we need is a US Supreme Court ruling that waiting more that 2 years for any and all appeals against a death sentence before carrying it out is a "cruel punishment" justice and for the victim's family.

You know.. G.I. Jillary is not running on her record, but from it.

The Missouri Lt Governor went on Fox and brought up facts about the history of the U of Missouri, and how warped the student body officers and mainscream media have presented their point of view.   Wanna bet whether CNN, MSNBC, HUFFPOOPOO, CBS, ABC, or NBC reports his message of truth?

---
Now we hear the U of Missouri football coach has resigned.. one sports adage says what needs to be said, "we was robbed!" -- He should have been publicly fired! .... flailed, too!

L-E story: " Sixty-three rounds were fired during a deadly shootout between two motorcycle gangs at a Macon Road sports bar in early October, a detective said Friday in Columbus Recorder’s Court. *  D*gin*ld
W------r, 52, of Columbus and J*mes D----l Jr., 36, of Pine Mountain, Ga., pleaded not guilty to murder and armed robbery charges in the Oct. 9 death of Dominic Mitchell. A third suspect, 47-year-old Dem*rk P----r of LaGrange, Ga., pleaded not guilty to the same charges during a previous hearing. Columbus Police Detective David Stokes told the court that surveillance video from the 4th Quarter Sports Bar at 6959 Macon Road showed the Strikers motorcycle gang was holding a meeting when about 13 members of the Outcast motorcycle gang arrived. Stokes noted that Outcast arrived on eight motorcycles in a single-file line. Dressed in all black, Outcast initiated a physical fight with the Strikers that led to 63 gunshots fired, the detective said. Columbus police were called to the scene around 11:20 p.m. and found Mitchell suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Midtown Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead of two gunshot wounds to the chest just before midnight. Around that same time, Ponder and Daniel arrived at St. Francis Hospital dressed in all black and traveling on white Harley-Davidson motorcycles, police said. Ponder was treated for a gunshot wound to the right leg. A second victim, identified as a 49-year-old Columbus man, was treated for a gunshot wound to the stomach. Police didn’t specify the third victim’s injuries." -- " Ponder and Daniel arrived at St. Francis Hospital dressed in all black and traveling on white Harley-Davidson motorcycles"? "on white Harley-Davidson motorcycles"? Leave it to the L-E to make such a "black/white" issue when there was no such thing....

Real women should be the most upset at court decisions saying transgender men can use the Women's bathrooms.. Now, real women will have to wonder if the "she-it) raised then lowered the seat or just "went" without raising it

I love chatting with my 3 year-old granddaughter.. Conversation with her are fruitful versus trying to get any truth out of a Democrat. When my granddaughter says, "I love you!", I know she does.. when G.I. Jillary says the same thing, I grab for my wallet and run like hell.

Once again I stare at the penalties assigned to people convicted of their second and/or third DUIs. What I don't see is where any of their "weapons" (a vehicle driven by a drunk is a weapon) have been confiscated.

Game pick.. Mississippi State...straight up! Now... with a little help from Arkansas,, we'll be in the thick of the SEC West battle.

L-E headline/story: "Retail sales crawl upward in October *  WASHINGTON — Americans ramped up their online shopping and restaurant spending in October, but barely-there inflation kept overall retail sales growth muted.  *  The Commerce Department said Friday that retail sales rose a seasonally adjusted 0.1 percent last month, after being unchanged in September and August. *  Over the past 12 months, sales have risen 1.7 percent. *  Lower gasoline costs and meager inflation have downplayed the extent of consumer spending, as the retail sales report is not adjusted for price changes." -- " Lower gasoline costs and meager inflation have downplayed the extent of consumer spending, as the retail sales report is not adjusted for price changes"? Good grief.. lower gasoline costs are THE reason retail sales are up.. Consumers have extra money in their pockets because of lower gas prices! What bothers me isageddon's Commerce Department puppets and mainscream media won't this to reflect on Obamageddon's "leadership" rather than present the facts.

There's a property sales transaction (Selected property transactions in Muscogee County, recorded September 10 - October 26: James Butler, Jr. to Benjamin Land; 1403 Hubbard Road; $1,080,800) in today's L-E that pinpoints the inefficiency of  the City in evaluating and collect property taxes. This home sold for $1,080,800.00 but was valued in the tax database at only $325,502.00 for a 4,008 square foot home on 65 acres. This is a north Columbus growing area to boot, yet the land was tax assessed at only $140,320.00 (that is only $2159.00 an acre) and the building was valued at $148, 256.00 (that's $37.00 a square foot). If property taxes, at least on non-exempt properties were current, instead of only $4,600.00 being raised, the tax on that property would have been over $20,000 for a number of years, and there's be no need for the Mayor's assault on the "tax freeze" that makes home ownership attractive.

From the "print first, verify later" department - Online headline/story: " 'British' Islamic State leader killed in U.S. air strikes in Syria: monitoring group *  A leading British member of Islamic State and three other foreign militants have been killed in U.S.-led air strikes in northern Syrian town of Raqqa, monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Friday. * A U.S. official said earlier that a strike in the area probably killed the Briton known as "Jihadi John", who appeared in videos showing the killings of American and British hostages. * "All the sources there are saying that the body of an important British Jihadi is lying in the hospital of Raqqa. All the sources are saying it is of Jihadi John but I cannot confirm it personally."" -- Liberal media is so .... so screwed up.. First... it has run with a story that hasn't been confirmed, and secondly, this is a story, like that of the death of Osama bin Laden,  that G.I. JIllary's comment "What difference does it make"  would have been actually viable.. Ask yourself, will there be fewer beheadings and more peace because Jihadi John IS dead?

---
Here's a solution for peace in the Middle-East...finally: Elect Trump. Trump would then deport the 11,000,000 + illegals which would make immediate room to allow the entire population of Israel and Christians throughout the area to be brought to the US (along with their $300 BILLION + GDP), then build a fence coated with bacon around Israel itself yo keep jihadists refugees  out, then carpet bomb the entire area outside of Israel. Yeah... that's the ticket!.

HuffPOOPOO "headlie"/Colin C(_*_)mpbell "story": "Trump links rival to child molesters in scathing speech" -- Good grief.. no where close to the truth...the article was more accurate.. but not correct nor totally truthful.. in other words, the "the blackest of lie.. the half-truth". Quote from the article: "But Trump apparently thinks Carson never got better. The business mogul generated headlines earlier in the day when he compared Carson's "pathological" temper to child molesters during a CNN interview. He doubled down on that comparison during his Thursday-night speech in Iowa. * "I don't want to say what I said, but I'll tell you anyway. I said that if you're a child molester — a sick puppy, you're a child molester — there's no cure for that. There's only one cure; we don't want to talk about that cure. That's the ultimate cure," Trump told his supporters. "If you're a child molester, there's no cure. They can't stop you."  Obviously, Trump did say what he said, but a reporter merging two different comments totally.. and intentionally, destroys the context of what was said.

Online headline/story: "U.S. Secret Service officer arrested in child sexting sting * A U.S. Secret Service officer assigned to the White House was arrested this week after he sent naked pictures of himself to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint. * THe (_*_) turned himself in to Maryland State Police on Monday and faces charges including solicitation of a minor, according to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware. * The complaint details a series of pornographic online chats starting in late August between The (_*_) and a Delaware State Police detective posing as a 14-year-old girl. *  The (_*_) sent naked photos of himself to the undercover officer and asked to meet in person to have sex, according to the complaint. * In an interview with police, Moore admitted to communicating with the person while he was working at the White House, the complaint said. * The Secret Service, the agency that protects the president, has placed The (_*_) on administrative leave, according to the complaint. -- Good grief! " First question I had was, "did The (_*_) work on Clinton's team?". The second was "why wasn't The (_*_) fired on the spot and arrested?". The third one was "is this what Obamageddon defines as hiring diversity?".

Online "headlie": "'Real progress': Percentage of U.S. smokers plummets, CDC finds" -- Another of those "blackest of lies... the half-truth". THe CDC is talking only about cigarettes of tobacco.. e-Vapes and marijuana aren't included...what's happening is that cigarette smokers are seeking alternatives that aren't taxed as heavily as cigarettes...which means... in the governments eyes, they are unpatriotic tax dodges!

---
From the above story: "The researchers say it's not clear if products such as e-cigarettes are helping people quit. So far, there's little evidence that they are." -- "there's little evidence that they are"? Good grief... if anything, e-cigs are a gateway, a training tool,  to smoking tobacco or marijuana.. I saw a man.. no teen, smoking an e-vape while checking out at a store.. The cashier nor some management personnel standing with her, said one thing.. neither even looked concerned about it.. I hope this isn't a trend that's developing..

Online headline/"headlie"/story: "NFL star gives whopping sum to fast food cashier *  Life-changing gift he'll never forget *  Marshawn Lynch gave a McDonald's employee $500 to help him buy shoes * The Seahawks running back was recently in a McDonald's where he and an employee named Terrance Downs began chatting about a pair of luxury sneakers made by Buscemi that Lynch was wearing, * Lynch decided to help the Dallas fast-food worker out and handed him $500 to help him pick up his own pair of Buscemis, which retail from $890 and up online." -- Good grief..you gotta be kidding that this made the news as a "blessed event"! I can afford a pair of $890.00 (plus tax I assume), but am smart enough not to spend that much on a pair of sneakers. If Lynch wanted to make a "life-changing" gift, he might have picked up the young man's college tuition so the young man could get a job that pays hiogher wages so that the young man could afford them himself.. The irony is that if the young man had such a responsible job, he wouldn't be spemding $890/00 on "sneaks".. Now, the probabilities, no... realities,  are that the young man will not accumulate the balance of money needed to buy those shoes, and will get mugged for the $500.00, or OR.. the young man WILL raise the balance, buy the $890.00 shoes, and his best friends will mug him (or worse) and steal the shoes.

Online headline: "12 foods with more sugar than Krispy Kreme doughnut" -- YES!.. my worst fears are over.. I can eat doughnuts guilt-free as now they can be considered a diet food.!

Online story: "A high school cross country runner wearing a headband with a Bible verse written on it was disqualified after finishing third in the Georgia state championship. *  The Georgia High School Association says the disqualification wasn't because of the "religious nature" of the headband. The rules state an athlete's headwear can't have any writing or logos on it." -- Good grief.. how wimpy can the GHSA get.. is there another sport in GA that has the same restriction? Cannot a football helmet or baseball cap have the school name/logo/initials on it? How about jerseys? And shoes.. good grief, I don't know of a single pair of athletic shoes, golf included, that don't have the makers' name on them somewhere.. I hope the young man has that same Bible verse printed on his jersey in the next meet, and see what the GHSA does then.

Online headline: " Foster parents claim judge took away adopted daughter because they are gay" -- Good grief.. what I want to know is how a Foster Child Agency would clear a same sex couple, married or not, qualify to be in charge of other people's children.. I have a hard time with same sex couple using third party surrogates/donors to create a blood-linked child in their relationship..  Now,, for you stone throwers, I know what I am talking about, have such situation in my family..and I deal with it through prayers for my great niece and nephew, and I love my niece and her "spouse" as well. I just don't think.. not even feel, that the circumstance is in the best interest of those children, but ..ut I know God is watching over them.

HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Donald Trump blasts 'weak, ineffective' leaders" -- Wait a minute,, "weak, ineffective leaders" is a top tier oxymoron! He was referring to the "leaders' at the U of Mizzou who resigned, but, if you throw in "greedy" as another adjective, , it does pretty much describe most Republicans in Congress... and all Democrats as well.

Online headline/story: "CNN Host Tells Donald Trump Illegal Immigrants Pay Billions in Taxes  * Burnett pushed back against the real estate tycoon. * “But they pay in taxes, they pay 24 billion dollars in taxes,” she said. * According to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, approximately 11.4 million individuals in the U.S. illegally paid $11.84 billion in state and local taxes in 2012. The conservative Heritage Foundation estimated unlawful immigrant households paid $39.2 billion in 2010, but received $93.7 billion in government services."  - You know,, what mainscream media doesn't "understand" is that being here illagally is a crime, and costs us in more way than financially.. Crimes, and the expense of such in prosecution, incarceration, and deportation far outweigh the pittance that any taxes that can be attributed to them.

Students protesting about the high costs of public college education are protesting about the wrong people. It's not business people or other taxpayers driving up the costs, it's the public education/government  itself who are causing the increases. My college aged daughter is required to live in a dorm room that's about 12' X 30' (360 sq ft). THis costs us and her roommates parents $5,800.00 for 4 months. That's $1,450.00 a month for two single beds and one bathroom for two people. There's not a luxury apartment/condo in Carrolton, or Columbus that gets $48.00 a sq ft per year rent, yet that's what colleges are charging (in addition to about $250,00 a month for mandatory fees). This gives colleges the cash flow to keep unneeded, unproductive professors employed.

---
Now, I tell you what, after listening to students' reasons for protesting hat they "want, deserve" "free education" , I think it's time to just stop public college education. The teachers have failed the students and the taxpayers.

---
Good grief.. remember that University of Missouri "student" who caused such an uproar last week claiming white people are privilged and he is oppressed... well, he's already a graduate, and is 25 years old taking advanced graduate classes. In addition, his parents are quite well off .. his father is a railroad executive estimated to making a high singled digit multi-million dollars annually in salary, and his mother was a former educator who now runs a non-profit advocacy program. Well, you would think "education begins at home, but obviously their child doesn't remember thsi.. I wonder how many of the "protest joiners" knew this when they gathered in mobbery?

Jonathan Gruber incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff" : " Not only are the red states the poorest states, but they must also be the most ignorant, thanks to the Republicans’ sinister propensity for slashing education funding." Another one of those \liberals that Reagan warned us about.. you know, the ones that know so much that isn't so.. It's just that most of the "blue" states' big cities have become magnets for poverty centers which have warped the balance of the Electoral College and Congressional representation..
---
From the L-E's "Today in History" feature: " In 1956, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down laws calling for racial segregation on public city and state buses." -- Yes! I remember well... I was 9, and this marked the time that me and my friends could get on a bus Saturday mornings and get on the back seat so we could press our faces to the back window and make weird faces at the car drivers behind us!

From guest L-E commentary, by  Alfonza Menefee, probate judge of Macon County, Ala., who is serving in his 27th year in that office.: " Finally, there is good news for Macon County. Almost three years since VictoryLand’s closing, the legal issues are settled: The citizens of Macon County voted in good faith for electronic bingo and VictoryLand delivered on the citizens’ confidence in the process. *  Now, with Gov. Robert Bentley’s Executive Order 13 that returns the responsibility of the enforcement of Alabama’s gambling laws to the local entities authorized by the amendments that approved electronic bingo in the first place, VictoryLand is moving full speed ahead toward reopening. * The governor is to be congratulated for acting to bring jobs back to Alabama’s Black Belt, where they are sorely needed. * Reopening VictoryLand will benefit people across the Black Belt as a job creator, as a major tourist attraction and as a company that has paid more than $300 million in local, county and state taxes. The vastly underfunded Macon County school system has received more than $50 million in taxes from VictoryLand." -- "Macon County school system has received more than $50 million in taxes from VictoryLand."? -- Good grief.. the Macon County school system has received $50,000,000.00 taken out of the pockets of visitors that would have spent that money in grocery stores, gas stations, dealerships etc, and that $50 Million is only the "tax bite" after the Casino has taken the lion's share of funds out of county circulation.  It's a shame any judge would gloss over the facts for the pittance Macon County receives.

L-E headline: "ASTROS * Rasmus accepts $15.8 million deal" -- Good grief.. don't you know City Councilor, Glenn Davis, who  also spent 7 years with the Astros and was the NL MVP for three of those seasons, didn't make that much in his overall 10-year career in "the Show".. a career Rasmus will not equal. No wonder I have no more interest in pro-sports.
