McCain would have been better off by not showing up last night to vote at all.. the results would have been the same, but he wouldn't have soiled himself.

Mainscream media just doesn't understand how Trump works...remember last campaign when Trump seemed to lay on his own hand grenades...and did so until the 3rd debate, then spun on a dime on the winning course? He's doing it again..all the mainscream media are now trying to do is tell him how yo do his job the way they see it..Then soon, when mainscream media is least expecting it, Trump will up for air and leave mainscream media treading in his wake. Yesterday, we learned about what can only be described as a questionable deal involving a property exchange between Mayor Tom-LY\ING-son and her sister.. one "legal eagle" has made the following observation, "$181,500, then "quitclaimed" to Tomlinson Properties LLC in 2011---deed in lieu of foreclosure? Maybe transaction a little deeper."  I do believe the IRS and some GA Ethics Committee should make some inquiries into this.. Maybe this is why Josh McKoon's committee got "deep sixed".

With the number of "distracted driving" cases made at a CPD "sting operation". my advice to those wanting to fight it in court is not to expect the Recorder's Court judge for help.. ask your case to be bound over to State Court, and if the State Court chooses to pursue the case, you'll get a jury to talk with.

L-E headline: "Columbus jobless rate jumps to 6 percent, second highest in Ga." -- First, did you notice how the L-E tries to mimimize the damage by saying Columbus has the "second highest" rather than the "second worst"? I don't know who's legacy gets the biggest dings.. Mayor Tom-LYING-son who wants to run for higher office, or Congressman Bishop who also has the worst city (Albany) and the 4th worst (Macon) in his District.

The real purpose of the Soap Box Derby was, and should be,  to promote the relationship between a parent and his/her child as they built something together and reaped that life-changing benefit. It use to be, only the wheels were bought (to insure safety and uniformity) from the Soap Box Derby organization.
