Congressman Bishop, D-GA2, horned in ..a lot.. to steal some credit for the new VA Clinic on River Road even though it's not in his district, but he's nowhere to be seen getting the knocked-over sign fixed. Dems like Bishop quit caring as soon as the photo-ops are gone.

ALERT: I am not going to drop off the map, but you may feel like it next week.. I'm taking the week of the 4th off from recapping events of the Breakfast Club world to do things with my family.. Now, don't worry that I'm not keeping my eyes and ears open for what's going on that affect us all, because I will keep up and catch up Monday week. So, enjoy celebrating our country and your families, and sleep well at night.

While I'm glad the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the postal worker's religious rights, but it does open up a real can of worms. Will employers that operate 7 days a week be able to reject applicants who won't work on Sundays or Saturdays or even another day of the week for another religious group? How can such employers not be allowed to ask this question of every applicant, and make a hiring decision based on this?

Online headline: "Supreme Court rejects affirmative action in ruling on universities using race in admissions decisions" -- AMEN! Now the libs will have to upgrade their public school curriculum to teach real reading, real math, and real history so all students have a chance to earn admission into the college of their choice!
---
Online headline: "Ga DDS: Georgia Digital Driver’s Licenses and IDs Provide Positive Impact to Georgians with Disabilities" -- Hmmm... an electronic device with your name and address and driver's license number is a huge security risk for identity and financial theft...especially if you have banking and credit card info stored on it, too.
---
Online headline: 'Many New Laws Go into Effect Across Georgia on July 1st – We’ve Compiled a List to Keep You Informed" -- I agree with the new GA bill that makes it illegal for local governments from accepting money from any person ...or entity... for election help except from the state or federal sources. Now, next year, let's hope our legislature will make it a crime for anyone to donate funds to a political race or candidate they aren't actually eligible to vote for.
---
While GA is going to experiment with a Medicaid option that offers limited medical coverage to people working or going to college, how about adding a new condition like that to voters who use the early voting option as well... with an exemption for registered voters who are 65 or older and/or retired. Besides, an 18-to-65 year old who isn't working or going to school should have plenty of time to vote on the actual voting day.

Online headline: "City of Los Angeles homeless population increased by 10% despite millions spent to address issue, figures show" -- Hmm... just proves how out-of-touch Democrat N+Maxine Waters, D-CA, is with her state... she's been disconnected from her district forever since she doesn't actually live in her assigned district...she can't even vote for herself!
---
Online headline: "Sparks fly at California's final reparations task force meeting" --
Excuse me, but why aren't these "loud voices" speaking up for the slaves in modern day Africa and China and elsewhere?
---
Online headline: "Thomas blasts Jackson's 'race-infused world view' in Supreme Court ruling outlawing affirmative action" -- Justice Thomas is right on the money! You know, people who harp about the past are not interested in healing or the future unity of our country.

From the "did I hear someone shout "BINGO!" when Biden stopped talking?" department - Online headline: "Biden rips Supreme Court decision on race-based college admissions: 'Not a normal court'" -- Not a normal court"? DOH! Hey, Resident Biden... it's the SUPREME COURT.. and was established that way by the same people who created YOUR office, and Congress as part of the "checks and balances" need to keep America under the control of the people!
---
Online headline: "Hunter Biden daughter with ex-stripper will receive some of her father's paintings, settlement states" -- Biden is going to give some of his paintings to his daughter? I certainly hope none are "self-portraits" taken from some of the pictures of him on his laptop! One other thing to wonder about is how IRS will handle this now .. and in the future... technically, at values set a couple of years ago, those paintings are much higher than the "annual gift threshold" parents can make to their children.. but by the time the daughter reaches 18, those painting will probably be worthless and nothing but a capital gain loss based on a questionable initial value price..
---
Online headline: "'View' co-host wonders if affirmative action decision will lead to 'no women in colleges'" -- Good grief"The View" needs a name change.... how about "The Peewww!" If Sunny Hostin took ANY AMOUNT time to do ANY research, she'd know that there are more women in college..NOW... than men.

Online "headLIE": "Harvard reacts to Supreme Court affirmative action ruling: Diversity is 'essential to academic excellence' * Harvard's leadership highlighted another path to accounting for race in admissions, in wake of Supreme Court ruling" -- "Diversity is essential to academic excellence"? WRONG! ... "Academic Excellence is essential to Diversity!" If I was an older Harvard grad, I think I'd demand that all new graduates have an asterisk on their diplomas signifying they were graduated after Harvard Excellence was "canceled".
---
Online headline: "CNN angers liberals with report on viral video showing RFK Jr.'s 'shirtless workout': 'This is news?'" -- Hmmm... if the Democrats do hold primaries, I expected we'll see Artificial Intelligence edited photos of Putin riding his horse while shirtless, and RFK's head Photo-Shopped onto Putin's torso.
---
Online headline: "Georgia NAACP, civil rights leaders say affirmative action ruling major step backwards for country" -- Hmmm...but I can see why the NAACP would feel this way... it's whole agenda has been based on racism the last 50 years. Achieving Dr King's "Dream" has never been the NAACP's goal..

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline: "GA's Muscogee County School Board names new school despite controversy over selection process" -- The Muscogee County School Board should be ashamed of itself! Ms Buckner's dictatorial decision should have been tempered by the Board.. as a result, her sister's good name will will become embroiled mired in controversy...
Online "headLIE": "Their plan is to literally kill people’: Senate Democrats reveal new details about intel warnings ahead of January 6 attack" -- Two things: 1 - Queen PeLOUSY was responsible for the safety of the Capital, and CHOSE not to be better prepared ..... intentionally. 2 - Have those two arrested Atlanta "Cop City" Antifa "agents" who previously were arrested in Washington on Jan 6, but failed to return to court, been interrogated by the various Washington investigators and prosecutors? For that matter, have those prosecutors even wanted to investigate them?

You know, when the River Road @ Bradley Park Drive "Round_A-Bout" was first conceived, it was about moving traffic better and saving money by eliminating the traffic lights there..In fact, the GA DOT liked toe concept so much, it was going to pay for it. but time dragged on, and after two "re-drawings". the current concept was built.. on this time. Columbus taxpayers had to pay out $4.6+ MILLION dollars foe it.. now the City is re-landscaping it .. and it will be a pretty penny in cost...and the City is allowing a 340 unit apartment project to be built just north of it which will increase the morning River Road traffic so much, the City will have to eventually reconsider re-installing traffic lights in order for Green Island families to get to school or work during the morning rush hours.. Looks like the goals of the Round-A-Bout - faster traffic/less costs.. are about to be eliminated..
---
Interesting.. a new GA Law starts tomorrow allowing logging trucks to carry higher and heavier loads.. but after the recent logging truck "turn-over" on JR Allen Parkway, logging trucks now seem to be carrying few logs, and going slower around the Round-A-Bout...Hope this LASTS!

From the "talk about prayers answered" department - Online headline: "Geraldo Rivera’s Long Career at Fox News Appears to End" -- Thank goodness! Geraldo was even a step below Juan Williams for consistency of opinion and willingness to discuss such civilly with those of different opinions..
---
Online headline: "Whoopi Goldberg Eviscerates Clarence Thomas in Wake of Supreme Court’s Affirmative Action Ruling" - Wow! Whoopi has just done Resident Biden "one better".. but it's way worse.. Biden would say, "Justice Thomas ain't "Black enough"... while Whoopi just said , Justice Thomas ain't Black at all.

Online headline/story: "Buttigieg defends Biden confusing Ukraine and Iraq twice in 2 days: 'Very focused on details' * Although Biden’s gaffe received widespread attention and mockery, other mainstream media outlets and reporters appeared to downplay his comment or ignore it entirely. * USA Today White House correspondent Francesca Chambers completely omitted the "Iraq" reference, quoting the president as saying, "’He’s losing the war at home. And he has become a bit of a pariah around the world,’ Biden said of Putin." -- It's sad... it's dishonest... hey.. it's just not right! I'm talking about liberal journalists who are editing Resident Biden's 'gaffe" comments to cover up Biden's multi-referencing Putin's"losing the Ukraine War in "Iraq"... Journalists need to establish some credibility within their professional ranks and standards...

You HAVE to see this for yourself - Online headline: "Biden wanders off set as Nicolle Wallace wraps softball MSNBC" --
