What bias?" department - WTVM-TV9 headline: "Parking issues arise in anticipation of the Republican Convention in Columbus, GA" -- How can this "story" be run... be aired... without mentioning City Manager Hugley's wife not only is the longest serving Democrat in the GA House of Representatives, but has served as the Democrats' "Minority Whip"! Shame on WTVM-TV9...and any other media outlets who covered it without mentioning it.. Shame on the City Manager for not recusing himself on this issue...Shame on the Chamber and Visitors Center for not actively opposing such a biased proposal!

a "real" UpTown parking issue, start with active hotel construction sites... make finishing parking facilities for those projects before "product construction" can start so all day workers want take all the street parking.

Another "parking issue" Columbus GA Council can tackle is the drop off area between Hotel Indigo and The Rapids.... Cars are parked in the "Fire Lane" pretty constantly during meal hours as construction workers across the street pretty much "eat up" the available legal parking spots.

While I'd prefer our government operate with financial accountability all the time, McCarthy did a great job in reversing the trend of irresponsible spending that has been the pattern Biden.. with a previous Democrat majority in both Chambers...
