While Wane Hailes, publisher of Columbus, GA’s  “Courier Eco Latino”, has shown his skin color bias on so many occasions, he outdid himself in that MADE UP CONVERSATION  by putting his own prejudicial words into the memory of Evelyn Pugh in order to slam a sitting Columbus GA Councilor for deciding to vote based on a person's "character" (or lack of it) rather than his skin color.  I hope his advertisers remember that Hailes' lack of good.. DECENT.. character also reflects on them.

Here's where" --  Two things being "tiptoed" around are that by selecting 20 schools, students at 34 others are being told they are not as valuable as students at the schools "selected", and that not reporting speeding tickets to the state is akin to "cash bail and dropped charges" because violators are not penalized  with higher insurance rates... heck.. violators aren't even checked to see if they HAVE insurance... or a driver's license for that matter.

Hmmmm…What's also missing are the "tickets" at the River Road Round-a- Bout, and on Bradley Park Drive which were humongous several months ago!

Another thing.. the $80.00-to-$130.00 “fines” not only remove money from Columbus GA’s economic circulation, a full 30% of the fines collected end up in another area’s economy without benefitting Columbus in any way!

Oh! These are things that ex-City Manager “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley would have been working on with Queen TT, too, that didn’t work.

You know, Congressional District lines in each state SHOULD be drawn as symmetrically alike as possible based on number of citizens in each district being similar.. and voter registration should not even be considered! Any citizens can move to any district it likes better than the one he/she is in..
