Can you believe how eager Bernie and AOC are to get the DNC to support Zorhan Mamdani in the NYC Mayoral race? I'm scratching my head about their motivation... Mamdani was born in Uganda so he is not even eligible to run for President, yet his actions as NYC mayor will be a detrimental aspect on state wide & local elections.

Made a "little" error in subject matter yesterday .. shoulda re-checked on Dr Cook's declaration...she's running for Columbus GA Council Post 9, not Mayor.. This does throw a new element into the huge presentation of her candidacy and millionaire supporters... looks like there's going to be an attempted buy-out of Mayor/Council control.

Seems Columbus, GA has another candidate exploring the Mayor's job...a Dr. Jaketra Bryant... She lists a commercial address but apparently she doesn't have one as a property owner/residence. Some transparency, please.... Oh! And here are no addresses for her Campaign Chair other than Columbus, GA or her Treasurer other than Atlanta GA… How can a person file a candidacy “intent” for a local office yet not disclose that they actually live in Columbus, GA?

After the courts overturned a federal judge's order to stop deportation arrests in Los Angeles,  Mayor Karen Bass expressed that she believes the arrest and deportation of undocumented immigrants by Federal officers is unAmerican. Hmmm .. now... in MY book, feeling illegal aliens have a right to wandering the streets of America is a lot more "unAmerican", and a government employee ignoring the laws is a TRAITOR!

You know… last year, $3,500,000.00 dollars was given to GA Power Co for the property it abandon on Veterans Parkway.. Not only does it add to the tax burden to pay for OLOST projects, it also removes the property tax receipts previously generated.. Too boot, moving the Downtown Fire Station there from 2nd Ave & 10th Street increases the first response  distance (actual distance plus one-way street situations) from the Historic District, our UpTown Government buildings, the historic Springer Theater, water safety response on the Chattahoochee River, Columbus State University, many historic churches, and restored Riverfront residents… Sometimes (heh heh heh), more thinking before acting is better.
