A total of 31,621 ballots were cast, representing a voter turnout of 24.88%.” – This is why our local elections need to be decided in the November General Elections! In 2024,  over 81,000 votes were cast in the General election but none for our Columbus, GA Council races… Our local issues DESERVE to be addressed and decided  by more oqne-quarter of our voters! Oh!... The “pew from a PEW” lie… we’ve had a much better Black Mayor serve Columbus than Hugley ever will…

WRBL-TV3 online story: “ Officials with the Columbus Police Department (CPD) announced on Tuesday that the City Council has approved a temporary curfew ordinance for unsupervised minors in Uptown Columbus. * According to CPD, police officers, business owners, and community stakeholders have reported incidents involving disruptive behavior, trespassing, fights, shootings, and other activity impacting public safety and local businesses.” --  Hmmm… so for the next 100 days or so, UpTown Columbus GA “MAY” be gun free … at least from minors… How come we’ve been told.. led to believe … Columbus has been free of such?

Well… looks like it wasn’t a good day for Governor Kemp… Jackson beat Jones, and Collins beat Dooley in elections he endorsed.. It’s especially noted that his last minute endorsement of Jones may have cost Jones the election… Kemp’s last minute endorsement  probably caused voters to  “look again” and it worked against Jones…and for the Dooley endorsement…..what was Kemp thinking?  All we knew about him other than him being Vince Dooley’s son was that he coached at Tennessee and there are too many pictures of him in “Orange T” hats and shirts for the DAWG nation..

Senator Pocahontas Warren says, :We need a wealth tax NOW!"  Hmm... what we need are Congressional term Limits, less voting fraud, and laws prohibiting Congresspersons or their family/friends, or financial advisors  from buying, selling or trading stock in companies..

In fact, having all elected Congressional figure have to convert ALL their investments to CASH when first elected and not be able to sell until they leave office would be a great incentive for Congress to “ride herd” on inflation and National Debt!
