Online story: “A man held 10 people hostage inside a California office building before the FBI shot and killed him early Wednesday, bringing the more than 15-hour standoff to an end, police said. * The hostages were found unharmed inside the downtown Bakersfield building that houses a bank and a school district office, the Bakersfield Police Department said in a statement. * Anthony Scott Searles-Harris, 41, was shot and killed around 4:20 a.m., according to Sid Patel, of the FBI's Sacramento field office. Patel said the suspect has a history of violence and is a registered sex offender.” -- Hmmmm ...nice to see the FBI is teaching marksman accuracy again...

I'm fed up with car sensors! We don't need'em, and
while they are sorta built into the cost of our cars, it costs a small fortune
to replace them when they malfunction....especially if your warranty has passed
or it's not a manufacturers' recall... I'm going to insist the dealer give me a
written warranty that he will pay for all sensor replacements after the
warranty expires... or I'm not buying a vehicle from him/her now or in the
future...

Looks like a Knicks vs Spurs NBA FINALS begins
tonight.. In 1976, I attended a Knicks-Spurs game at Madison Square Gardens...
It was my first (and, poetically, my last) trip to the NEW MSG.. I arrived in
In NYC early, checked into my hotel.. the Statler-Hilton.. and noticed a sign
across the street at "the Gardens" ... It read: "
Tonight..Knicks vs Spurs". This was the Knicks Bill Bradley's last
year, and the rookie year for George "Iceman" Gervin of the
Spurs.. Paid $14.00 for a mid-section seat, and watched two pro teams
"laze" it for 3 quarters before finally playing basketball in the
4th.. Knicks won, but it was a disappointing show of the talent on the court.

Wow! It looks like this November, Californians
will have an opportunity to actually vote "FOR" a Republican
candidate for Governor and a Republican Mayor of LA.... Wil wonders never cease?
Oh.. did you notice the election results by
Districts in California? Only 15 of 53 voted for the DemoKrat
gubernatorial candidates…and all but 2 of those were on the Pacific Coast areas.

Online headline: "Map Shows Upcoming ‘No
Kings’ Anti-Trump Protests This Month" -- Wow! Yet one
frontline federal Judge can brake an initiative of President
Trump... hmmmm... doesn't sound like we have a "King" in the
White House...

Don’t you find it rather comical… or weird… that
Courier ECO Latino publisher, Wane Hailes (while wallowing in his PEW)
feels Columbus GA should support “former Atlanta Mayor and White
House adviser (sic) Keisha Lance Bottoms for governor “ ? What he’s not
mentioning is that Bottoms decided NOT to run for re-election for a second term
because she screwed up her first term so badly, and that being an advisor for
Resident Biden was purely a joke…

curious, but where will the employees park?

Uptown Columbus GA is not concerned about curfews
for teens so they will stay home… the concern is that adult customers of Uptown
restaurants and night clubs don’t want to worry about being accosted by
large groups of teens… that and finding a parking space…
