250 years is special! I also remember the 200th Anniversary celebration in 1976...it was the 100th of Kirven 's Department Stores as well.. Even though Kirven's no longer is a going business, it makes me appreciate that my country is! During the 250th Celebration, two (that I know of) Time Capsules (1 at Mt Rushmore and 1 in Philadelphia) were "buried", and not to be opened until 2276, 250 years from now. My bet is that neither will see the light of day then because all records & great aspects of President Trump will have been removed from history in school text/history books in the next 10 years.
