While in Atlanta for the Braves/Rangers game on Friday, I saw a billboard with a picture of Xi Jinping quoted, "You're paying the tariffs." Like every other DemoKrat campaign message, this is just another lie.. Tariffs on import products basically just cut into the profit margins of products that use to be made in the US but were moved to a foreign manufacturing site. The retail prices don't move much, but tariffs on foreign made products do motivate companies to move those jobs BACK TO AMERICA!
