Remember when we drove to a Burger King, ordered a fabulous “:Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit, got excited to go to the pay window, then drooled as we were passed the sack with a bite of heaven in it?  

 

Well, I ordered one yesterday in Columbus, GA … and this is what I got:

 

 

This is the least one I ever order from BK… it’s certainly something I did not get to enjoy “My Way!”

Tommy John passed away this week end.. Yeah, that Tommy John.. the baseball pitcher who was the first to undergo the game & life changing surgery for so many pitchers in.. or destined for... The Baseball Hall of Fame. Tommy John gained 15 more years in the Major League! Think about that.. after 11 active years, and at a time being a player was not about signing multi-million dollar contracts, and at a time when an arm injury spelled the end of a pitcher's career, a doctor and Tommy John changed history... that was AMAZING! But...what's NOT AMAZING is that BASEBALL did not put Tommy John …. DID NOT enshrine him in the Hall of Fame... Shame on MLB! You know, if MLB does this this now, I hope his family will refuse it.

The Columbus GA AA Clingstones really have made an impression on the Atlanta Braves announcers..... NOT!  Sunday was "Mascot Day" at Truist Park in Atlanta, and cameras picked up on "Fuzzy" diddling around in the box seat area behind catcher, and the announcers started talking about I strangelyt... they were first confused about what it was, but then one said, Oh, that's the Brave's affiliate in ROME (GA)! Oh... they never did correct it to Columbus... Maybe Truist didn't want another Bank to get noticed.
