Hmmm... do you ever wonder what Harvey Weinstein "feels" about his world caving in while Roman Polanski and Woody Allen continue to exist?
---
For a man claiming to respect the office of the Senate, Franken surely failed in his resignation to show remorse or humbleness, and passed as much blame for his actions on the administration that just took office. Where was his concern during the previous 8 years when Obama was in office?
---
You know, if Franken says he will resign, how can his fellow Senators allow him to continue to serve until he's ready in a a few weeks? And I'm talking about his fellow Democrat Senators.. he could vote against the DNC "official stance" on a vital issue, and the Republican Senators, as well as the litigants' attorneys should be concerned about any evidence "cleansing" he might do with his files and hard drives?
---
Franken is such a phony... in his first campaign, Franken's wife made an impassioned testimony on how her husband stood her side as she battled the destructive effect of alcohol dependency...wanna bet he didn't want her beside him as he groped other women?
---
Al Franken's party coerced resignation is basically a last ditch effort to get Doug Jones elected in Alabama.. The Dems know Franken's replacement will be another Democrat and if you caught his resignation speech faux pas. "she"..as he said, is already picked out.
---
So Franken has joined Conyers in being designated as the sacrificial "lambs" to hide the many Democrat abuses on women's issues. Wonder if Alec Baldwin will don a gray wig and become the skit icon on Saturday Night Live.
---
From the "only California would think about this" department: "Wildfires blazing through Southern California are worrying marijuana growers, who fear that smoke could damage their crops, the basis of a newly legalized industry in the state. * For the cannabis industry, recovering like the rest of the state from devastating fires two months ago that killed 44 people and ravaged scores of pot farms north of San Francisco's Bay area, the new wave of wildfires comes at a challenging time." -- Hmmm... people's homes/lives have been engulfed in flames, and politicians are worried about tax revenue losses from a vice industry...
---
Listening to Democrats asking FBI Director Wray questions that are aimed at trying to protect known Democrat supporters rather than get to the truth make me sick. Sheila Jackson Lee is the worst...She actually read the "mission statement " of the FBI to Director Wray and asked him if he followed such. I remember specifically that she did not read that statement to Director Comey or previous Director Mueller, much less ask if they followed such themselves.
---
I was really disappointed in FBI Director Christopher Wray's first day in the House Committee session.. he had a chance to show America that we can depend on the FBI to be diligent in protecting us from political abuses but refused to disclose names on a FISA/FISC application requested by Representative Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, even though the Committee Chair said such disclosure was not banned from public Committee hearings. Wray may have thought he was protecting "protocol", but what he protected was whether or not the FBI agent was representing the Democratic Party interests or the interests of the American citizens. Bad choice, Director Wray.

From the "let's pretend we are God" department - Online story: " A change could be coming to birth certificates in the state of Washington. * Next year, a third option may be available beyond just ‘male’ or ‘female.’ The third option would be gender ‘X’." -- God gave us all "free will" so we could determine our choices we make.. since when did God give other people.. even parents and health industry workers, the power to make such a decision for one of His creations?
---
From the "maybe he might rethink his position on US Constitution Amendments 1 and 2... and 5 and 6" department - Online story: "DOUALA, Cameroon – An advocacy group says a Cameroonian-American writer who criticized the government over months of Anglophone protests has been detained in the Central African nation. * Patrice Nganang had written an article for Jeune Afrique in which he was critical of how Cameroon has handled a sometimes violent secessionist movement in some English-speaking areas. * Nganang went missing from the airport in Douala on Thursday. He is a dual U.S. citizen and a professor at Stony Brook University in New York." -- I probably should look into his writings about our Constitutions, but my gut instincts tell me this writer's works decry the freedoms that are protected by our Constitution as compared to the freedoms in 3rd world countries.
---
There has been called an emergency UN Security Council meeting for today to discuss the US moving its Israel Embassy to Jerusalem. The UN is concerned about potential conflicts this might make.. seriously? There hasn't been "no conflict " there in 1100 years!
---
From the "NBC has really "stepped in it" department - Online headline/story: "NBC says Olympic host Mike Tirico’s sexual harassment at ESPN is old news * All of the allegations against Tirico came when he was employed at ESPN, but it appears NBC is willing to look the other way despite an ongoing change in culture across the media landscape that has resulted in many high-profile dismissals for similar misconduct.
* “When we hired Mike in 2016, we were aware of the incidents from more than 25 years ago, which had been addressed in 1991-92 by ESPN, his employer at the time, and for which he has apologized," an NBC spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter" -- Whoa! What difference does knowing about Tirico's past make when he was hired, than knowing about Lauer's history when his contracts were renewed.. I tell you what.. I believe NBC has established Matt Lauer.. and any NBC women employees, grounds to sue on discrimination reasons.

From the "Philadelphia needs another slogan" department -- Online headlines from yesterday: "Seth Williams, Philadelphia's first black DA, begins 5-year term after bribery conviction". "3 teens charged as adults in deadly beating of homeless man in Philadelphia", "Sixteen-year-old arrested in shooting deaths of 2 Philadelphia teens", and "Outrage as Philly pushes through ban on bulletproof glass in crime-plagued neighborhood shops" -- I do believe Philadelphia has worn out its "City of Brotherly Love" slogan.. maybe Philadelphia can buy on of the rejects from Columbus' search for a mew one... I suggest, "Philadelphia.. Enter At Your Own Risk".
---
The one Philadelphia headline story I want to discuss in detail is the last one above: "Outrage as Philly pushes through ban on bulletproof glass in crime-plagued neighborhood shops * Philadelphia is one step closer to getting rid of bulletproof glass in many of its small businesses as part of a larger effort to crack down on loitering, public urination and potential drug sales -- but the potential ban has triggered a backlash from shopkeepers. * “No establishment required to obtain a Large Establishment license … shall erect or maintain a physical barrier that requires the persons serving the food either to open a window or other aperture or to pass the food through a window or other aperture, in order to hand the food to a customer inside the establishment,” the bill states. * Several of the hundreds of deli owners told FOX29 they feel as though they are being singled out, and numerous shopkeepers are among those protesting the bill. * “If the glass comes down, the crime rate will rise and there will be lots of dead bodies,” Rich Kim, the owner of Broad Deli, which sells soda, meals and beer by the can, said. “The most important thing is safety and the public’s safety.” -- Good grief.. The Philadelphia Health Department pretty much has said it doesn't support the health of business owners or their employees! And wait until greedy lawyer files a class action suit and gets "drive thru" windows declared as part of the insides of fast food restaurants..
---
Fox News online headline/story: "Border Patrol agent's mysterious death was no accident, union chief says * Culberson County Sheriff Oscar Carillo said the two agents could have sustained their injuries -- which included broken bones -- when a tractor trailer’s mirror sideswiped the agents and pushed them into the culvert, which was about 8 feet 8 inches high, the Dallas Morning News reported. Carillo added there had been several accidents reported on Interstate 10." -- The Sheriff that suggested this scenario needs to be investigated for his political leanings toward illegal aliens and.. whether anyone i his circles of friends and family may not be legal American citizens..but what should evident is whether the killing blow matched up with a side mounted truck mirror, and whether either agent was tall enough to "get hit'.
---
From the "red herring" department - Online headline/story: "Atlanta tech companies worry that tax bill undermines research * A combination of clauses in the bill passed by the Senate virtually eliminate much of the current tax incentives for research." --- Good grief.. the "incentive" for research should be the search and belief in and for a better product, not whether a company can use "research" as a "catch-all" for wasting time and money from a multitude of bad choices.
---
From the "why is this man still involved in the future of America" and the "Hey, John Lewis, what specifically has President Trump done to YOU" department - Online headline/story: "John Lewis re-evaluates civil rights museum visit after Donald Trump’s RSVP * U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Atlanta, said he will re-evaluate his plans to speak at the ribbon-cutting of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum this weekend amid reports that he would be sharing a stage with President Donald Trump. * “It’s going to be very difficult for me to be there and be on the same platform with him,” the civil rights leader and 30-year congressman said of the president in an interview Wednesday." -- It's horrid thinking like this that is derailing the future of America.. when elected leaders cannot.... more like.. WILL NOT.. focus on the future because they are anchored in the past is a major reason of hatred and racism that permeate our society. I'll trade John Lewis for John Conyers and Al Franken in order to move on and make America Great Again. One question, John Lewis, what has Trump ever done to YOU!
---
Online headline/story: "A rough round of runoffs for LGBT candidates * A trio of LGBT candidates was defeated in a round of Tuesday runoff elections that reshaped metro Atlanta’s political landscape." -- You know.. there's a new atmosphere in politics since the "politically correct" atmosphere as been exposed as folly.. Voters are now more at ease in for for the "Substance" of a candidate rather than the "Style" of a candidates politics/beliefs.. America will be GREAT Again!
---
Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "You can’t hum while holding your nose closed." -- Hmmm.. and I'll bet a dollar you tried to do it before reading my bet.
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "If you Google search “askew” the content will tilt slightly to the right. (Try it.)"
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "The most common Zodiac signs of prolific serial killers are Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius." -- Hmmm.. good dinner conversation starter...
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "For every human on Earth there are approximately 1.6 million ants. The total weight of all those ants is approximately the same as the total weight of all the humans on Earth." -- Talk about feeling insignificant in the scheme of God's world...on the other hand, God probably thinks were are the most special, but need lots of help in keeping the His world clean.
---
From the "only in the minds of politicians" department - L-E story: "Columbus Council has approved plans to extend Tyler Technologies’ contract with the city in order to avoid problems with the 2018 tax digest. * The additional services addendum passed with a 6-4 vote Tuesday, one week after a Nov. 28 council meeting, during which four councilors voted against the proposal. * Those voting in favor at Tuesday’s meeting were Skip Henderson, Evelyn “Mimi” Woodson, Jerry “Pops” Barnes, Mike Baker, Gary Allen and Mayor Pro Tem Evelyn Turner-Pugh. Those opposed were Bruce Huff, Glenn Davis, Judy Thomas and Walker Garrett." -- "to avoid problems with the 2018 tax digest"? Since when is the problem causer consider the problem solution? As I understand it, we have 25 +/- employees in the Tax Office.. 3,600 parcels divide by 25 is 144 each.. that's 12 per month.. 3 per 40 hour week.. what else have those employees got to do? Unfortunately, it looks like we still have 6 Councilors still gulping down Mayor Tom-LYING-son's Kool-Aid.... and 3 who have opened their eyes, and 1, Councilor Huff, who has kept his eyes open through all of this. Bruce! We need ya.. Get in the Mayor's race.. PLEASE!
---
Have you noticed all the local football coach resignations this past week or so? One was because the coach recognized how much time he had to spend away from his family... the others were obviously based on lack of progress in the results department.. Makes you wonder if the MCSD has a higher standard for football than it does for classroom results.
---
L-E headline: "Ford to make all-electric vehicle in Mexico" -- Hmmm.. a battery powered vehicle.. you know, it seems Ford might want to invest in a Cocoa bean powered vehicle with such an available "fuel" source in proximity.

---
You know, a Saudi prince bought a Leonardo painting recently for $450,000,000.00.. Do really think the Saudi prince thought it was worth $450,000.000.00 or was he thinking that people will know he just could spend $450,000,000.00 on a painting because he could?

Start your day in remembrance of Pearl Harbor,, 'twas definitely a day of infamy back in 1941
---
HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Trump hits highest approval rating since September in new poll * Politico/Morning Consult poll results published on Wednesday show that 45 percent of respondents give the leader approving marks, while 51 percent expressed disapproval. * The poll was conducted from December 1 to December 3, a period that saw the Senate’s passage of the Republican tax bill." -- Hmmm.. only 51% of the liberal-biased poll didn't like the thought of paying less in taxes.. the Kool-Aid must be wearing off...
---
Democrats are turning on Al Franken...but not for what he's charged with, but because Minnesota has its other Senator up for re-election in 2018, and the Dems are afraid Franken's image will tarnish Amy Klobachar's image as well.. Look for all 23 Democrat candidates running for re-election in 2018 to get similar vetting by the DNC.
---
When it comes to making America Great Again, Democrats say "we can't", establishment Republicans hem-haw "we'll try", and Trump says, "We WILL". Go Trump!
---
From the " chickens always come home too roost" department - California is burning ... again, and has found it necessary to invoke a curfew to curb looting in evacuated areas. Well, if California had upheld our immigration laws and eliminated their "sanctuary " protection laws, then California would probably not need to invoke curfews to stop looters.
---
Democrat spinmeisters are out claiming Trump needs to concede to their demands to ease off DACA policies because "the children" are here at no fault of their own in order to get Democrat support on not shutting down government. Can't we arrest all the Democrats for "obstruction of justice", "treason", and "lying to their constituents about supporting our Constitution.. the one they SWORE to uphold"?
---
Marc Thiessen, WaPo Democrat spinmeister columnist, is blasting the Republican tax cut bill because it raises taxes for some. His mantra is no one should ever have to say, "Republicans raised my taxes". What sanctimonious BS! WaPO supports the Democrats incestuously, and Democrats head for the shadows at the mere suggestion of cutting taxes so they have less other people's money to spend on their "personal pork projects".
---
Democrat Jones says electing Moore to the Senate may discourage more automakers from bringing more jobs to Alabama. Hmmmm..of course, electing Democrat Jones will guarantee that automakers will not feel confident that America, much less Alabama, is where they want to invest their money.
---
I'm a shade skeptical about those ads telling me I should stock up food with a 25 year life in case of some catastrophic .. or apocalyptic event... How do I know the food will be edible 25 years from now?
---
You know Trump is a man of his word when he keeps his promise to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel... and you know he's doing it because it's the right thing to do ... because the Jewish vote will still support the Democrats.
---
From the "collusion?.. in Special Prosecutor Mueller's staff.." department - Online headline/story: "Mueller deputy praised DOJ official after she defied Trump travel ban order: 'I am so proud' * A top prosecutor who is now a deputy for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe praised outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she was fired in January by President Trump for refusing to defend his controversial travel ban. * The email, obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, shows that on the night of Jan. 30, Andrew Weissmann wrote to Yates under the subject line, “I am so proud.” * He continued, “And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects.” -- Hmmm... Strzok... now Yates and Weissmann...,, oh, and didn't the US Supreme Court just shoot down Yates' position? That says mountains about Mueller's "judgment".
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/05/mueller-deputy-praised-doj-official-after-defied-trump-travel-ban-order-am-so-proud.html

From the "and it gets deeper" department - Online headline/story: "'They Should All Step Aside': Ingraham Says Mueller Deputy Represented Clinton Foundation * Laura Ingraham reported that one of Robert Mueller's deputies in his special investigation into President Trump was the personal attorney of a top Obama official and also represented the Clinton Foundation. * Ingraham said Jeannie Rhee was hired by Mueller this past summer to work on the probe." -- And this is on top of Strzok, Yates, and Weissmann exposes .. You know, what's amazing is that all these Obama-ites are actually making Trump look good...no matter how hard they try to discredit him.
---
Online headline: "Pope Francis: Keep 'status quo' in Jerusalem to avoid conflict" -- "avoid conflict"? Here hoes POOP Francis.. earning his moniker again,, but add a failing grade in "History".. .. there have been over 1,000 years of continual "conflict", and it won't subside or increase based on Trump not doing the right thing.. Besides, POOP Francis, all this is easy to say when you live behind a protected wall like you do.
---
From the "absolute folly" department - L-E headline: "Claflin school deed restrictions lifted, project moves forward with plans for apartments" -- Has anyone even looked at the fact that the property backs up to the Historic Linwood Cemetery? Or thought about the rumors that will surely follow.. I guess the builders have figured out how to use the "tax credits" to make money upfront, and aren't concerned about the long term aspects. I just hope a future Council doesn't have to buy the complex like it did with the failed downtown Liberty Apartments..
---
From the "this should be.. but it's not nor ever will be.. the creed of the Democratic Party" department - Quote of the day: " “Letting go helps us to to live in a more peaceful state of mind and helps restore our balance. It allows others to be responsible for themselves and for us to take our hands off situations that do not belong to us. This frees us from unnecessary stress.” ― Melody Beattie - American author" -- It's a shame that politicians can win offices by promising government aid, but it's even sadder that voters believe they will be better off if government takes care of them.
---
Let's not forget that America NEEDS a forensic audit of all Congresspersons' office budgets as more info comes to light of sexual charges and payoffs made with tax dollars.
---
From the "oxymoronic headline of the year" department - L-E headline: "6 women pursue class-action suit against Weinstein" -- I object! No way should "Weinstein" and "class" be in the same sentence/phrase!
---
Why is it that Democrats and mainscream media insist that the tax cut bill reducing corporate taxes benefits only the rich? Whether new found profits are used to add jobs, simply secure jobs with raises, or buy back stock to make existing shares more valuable to the share-owners., all Americans benefit.. most of the money will go into the savings and retirement finds of the working middle class, and towards reducing costs so that manufactures can offer their goods at lower prices to its customers. It's not that Dems don't know this, it's that Dems don't want middle class America to know this and leave the Democratic Party voting base.

From the "it's about time" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Wall Street Journal goes to bat against FBI and Robert Mueller for Trump * The Wall Street Journal editorial pages have emerged as one of the President Donald Trump's staunchest allies in his efforts to undermine the investigation into whether his campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election. * On Monday, the Journal excoriated Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the FBI for withholding information from Congress about the firing of a top agent who reportedly sent anti-Trump messages. * Mueller reassigned a top FBI agent, Peter Strzok, over the summer after it was discovered that Strzok had sent anti-Trump text messages, The New York Times reported over the weekend. Strzok led the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server and held a top role in the Russia probe, which Mueller has been leading since Trump fired former FBI director James Comey. (STRZOK was also the FBI agent that reworded the Comey memo about Hellary's e-mail crimes from "grossly negligent" to “extremely careless”.. effectively altering the class of crime Hellary committed)* "It is no slur against Mr. Mueller's integrity to say that he lacks the critical distance to conduct a credible probe of the bureau he ran for a dozen years," the editorial said. "He could best serve the country by resigning to prevent further political turmoil over that conflict of interest."" --
You know, sadly....we "expect" scandals and corruption within the day-to-day world of politics.. the power of spending other people's money to benefit ones self can be an aphrodisiac a lot of men and women just cannot... or have no desire to... resist. But.. a corrupt FBI is heartbreaking.. Americans have to KNOW the FBI is diligent and "perfect".. Obama, Holder, Lynch, Mueller, and Comey have destroyed our "innocence". This is one of those moments when the integrity of baseball was summed up in 5 words uttered following the "Black Sox Scandal".."say it ain't so, Joe". As the Queen of Hearts would have so succinctly responded, "OFF with their heads!"
---
Why want LaVar Ball just go away.. his kid "LIE-angelo" is attributing his shoplifting escapade to him being a victim of peer pressure (speaking on the Today Show, LIE-angelo essentially said that he "took something" because his teammates did first.). Great job, LaVar... NOT!

Online headline/story: "Nigerian migrants return from Libya with tales of horror * LAGOS, Nigeria – Some knelt and placed their foreheads to the ground in prayer. Several carried small children. After being stranded in Libya on a failed attempt to reach Europe, more than 250 Nigerian migrants were brought home and began sharing stories of abuse and fear. * "If they lock you up in a room, you hardly eat, that's number one," Ejike Ernest, one of the returnees, told The Associated Press on arrival late Tuesday in Lagos. "You'll urinate there, you'll defecate there and every morning, let me say three times a day, you will be severely beaten" until you can pay the money to be freed. * Nigeria's government, its president appalled by recent CNN footage of a slave auction in Libya where migrant Africans were "sold like goats," has committed to bringing its citizens home, along with a number of other African nations" -- Have you noticed that the horrific stories about the live slave auctions in Libya have just disappeared from our news? Guess the story wasn't "big enough" to get the attention of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharlatan, the DNC, or Black Lives Matter.
---
From the "it had to happen sooner or later" department - Britain foils Islamist suicide plot to kill PM May in Downing Street - Sky News" -- You know, with the growing Muslim population in London... and the voting power of Muslims reaching the strength to elect a Muslim Mayor, was this not expected?
---
Words of wisdom AND encouragement all will benefit from... especially those "stuck" in the past: “Success is determined not by whether or not you face obstacles, but by your reaction to them. And if you look at these obstacles as a containing fence, they become your excuse for failure. If you look at them as a hurdle, each one strengthens you for the next.” ― Dr. Ben Carson " -- But if you're racing toward a hurdle looking back at the last one, the next hurdle IS a stumbling block.. or wall.

So Facebook is going to have a separate Facebook Messenger program for kids under 13.. Hmmm.. I remember when Facebook didn't allow accounts for those under 14, but where are the parents of these children? Who allows tweens and younger onto an unprotected social media program?
---
Looks like ABC feels it is addressing it's credibility issue with its reporter Brian Ross. Hmmm so ABC is attempting to solve it with a band-aid. ABC feels taking Ross off all things Trump will fix it.. Hmmm, and how does ABC feel Ross will all of a sudden be credible to Trump followers.. any followers for that matter.. on other issues?
---
Mitt Romney just needs to sit down and shut up..He had his chance to be president and blew it..Romney started listening to the Republican establishment rather than the American voters when he had Obama decked following the first debate.. in other other words, if he was as savvy as Trump, he'd have been re-elected -m 2016 and Trump would not have felt compelled to step up to the plate.
---
I've never seen a tax cut that has run up our National Debt...on the other hand, I have seen out of control government spending and social programs send our debt soaring. It doubled in the 8 years of Obama

From the "throw this man a bubble suit to live in" department - Online headline/story: "Fiancé of Wall Street big killed by shark slams diving company * The fiancé of the Wall Street executive mauled to death by a tiger shark while scuba diving in Costa Rica last week is reportedly blaming the diving company for not keeping her out of harm’s way. * Dr. Jeffrey Rosenthal, a plastic surgeon who was engaged to Rohina Bhandari, 49, told the New York Post the divers who were with his fiancée didn’t have the necessary tools to ward off the shark. * Rosenthal, who called Bhandari a “10-star person,” said his fiancée loved scuba diving and had previously gone diving in Jamaica, the Galapagos Islands and the Bahamas. He added he found some comfort knowing she died while doing an activity she loved" - First off, by no means am I condemning the woman who was killed for something that happened in nature.... but...where the hell was gallant Dr Rosenthal! Either too busy to be with his fiance`.. or she didn't invite him.. and obviously, she was more than knowledgeable of ocean/sea scuba diving risks.. weenie!
---
Online headline: "Conyers announces retirement, endorses son to succeed him" -- Hmmm... that ought to make sure any and all evidence of cover-up/payoffs gets destroyed..
From the same story: "In 2010, John Conyers said he would reimburse the federal government for nonofficial use of his congressional vehicle by his son. That happened after the younger John Conyers told Detroit police someone stole two laptop computers and 1,000 concert tickets from the 2010 Cadillac Escalade after he parked it near Brush and Congress in downtown Detroit about midnight Nov. 24. * "I have just learned about the inappropriate use of a congressional vehicle by my son over the Thanksgiving holiday," Conyers said in a statement. "I am sorry it happened and will make sure that it does not happen again."* Police records showed the son had earlier been stopped for speeding in the same burgundy SUV. * John Conyers III, then 20, had worked in a $15-an-hour part-time job for his mother, Monica Conyers, a Detroit City Councilwoman, before she pleaded guilty to federal bribery charges." -- Good grief.. his reads more like a potential TV series that makes the Ewing family of Southfork look like choir boys and girls.
Now -- why, pray-tell, are we Americans paying for a car for John Conyers to have and allow his son to drive.. in Downtown Detroit... there might... MIGHT be a modicum of justification for Conyers to have a taxpayer funded vehicle in Washington, DC, but NOT in Detroit!

You know, John Pezold, our not-soon-enough-for-me-Ex-District 133 Representative, says he committed to Buzz Brockway several months before Josh McKoon threw his name into the GA Secretary of State's race, so he ("Pezold") must keep his promise... really.. Buzz Brocway's financial disclose shows that "Friends of John Pezold made a $500.00 donation on June 30th of 2017 which was after McKoon started putting out info he was considering entering the race... Funny though, is that Pezold used funds from his "campaign chest" after he announced his decision in April not to seek re-election. You know, there should be a law that politicians who announce their upcoming retirements (or who lose a primary or general election race) have to immediately close such accounts and either turn over the remaining funds to the state or to the original donors. By writing a check from his "Friends of John Pezold, he has effectively redirected the money of other people to another candidate. Such a move might make people guilty of a crime by having Pezold donate money they gave him to a candidate that they have maxxed-out the allowable amounts as defined by law.
Here's the line from Brockway's disclose form:

L-E headline/story: "HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL * Cedric Ware out as Kendrick Cherokees’ head football coach * Ware came to Kendrick from Aaron Cohn Middle School, where he was the head football coach in 2013 and 2014. The Hardaway alum also played for the Columbus Lions and was an assistant coach at Opelika High School and Fort Middle School. * Ware was the Cherokees head coach for three seasons, going 4-26 during that time. Kendrick went 1-9 in 2017, with the lone win being a 34-31 victory over Rutland that ended Kendrick’s 17-game losing streak " -- Let me get this straight....Hmmm... it's not OK for football coach not to have a noticeable track for success, but it is OK for principals and Superintendents not to have one?

You know, I really don't understand why McDonald's is struggling with trying to tweak its "Dollar Menu".. That's not their problem.. the problem is McDonald's has destroyed its image.. When my kids were under 10, I could not drive by a McDonald's without one or more wanting for me to stop and get something there.. usually a chicken nugget "Happy Meal". Now-a-days, when I drive with my 5 year old granddaughter, riding by a McDonald's doesn't even get her attention.. and its certain I'm not stopping for their fare.

L-E headline: "Some businesses use illegal ‘zappers’ to evade sales tax * BY STUART LEAVENWORTH * McClatchy Washington Bureau" -- This seems serious enough that McClatchy should start "naming names" of any retail store.. restaurant or merchandise.. that has done business with any of the software companies that make such software.
---
L-E headline/story: "Man seeking revenge killed innocent woman * The man charged in the Sept. 3 drive-by shooting near Ewart Avenue was trying to avenge his brother’s death when he allegedly killed an innocent woman, according to testimony Tuesday in Columbus Recorder’s Court." -- Here comes another "jury fail".. we've already had precedence set by a jury 30 or so years ago, when one man shot another "innocent" man who was riding in a car leaving the Government Center with a man the shooter intended to kill... and the jury found him "not guilty" because he wasn't trying to kill the man he actually shot.. and who subsequently died..

From the "more FAKE NEWS" department - Online story: "It's a stunning move ... LiAngelo Ball will no longer be on the UCLA basketball team and, in fact, he will not be a student at UCLA ... because his father, LaVar Ball, is removing him from the institution " -- Hmmm let's see.. LiAngelo is over 18... LiAngelo is on a "free ride" basketball scholarship..UCLA .. as any parent of a college student will attest, hasn't even talked to LaVar Ball ! What's more likely happened is that LiAngelo Ball has broken a scholarship ending provision of his contract, and "daddy" is trying to cover it up

Online headline: "Microwave weapon could fry North Korean missile controls, say experts" -- Hmmm.. with a weapon this sophisticated, why not just aim it at the overweight "cannonball with the short fuse", and fry the real North Korean missile controller?

Mainscream media is aghast that Roy Moore's polling numbers have returned to prior levels.. DOH... Alabama voters not only remember that mainscream media unbridled support of Hellary, Alabama voters have also been subjected to the Democrats in the Senate not being for tax cuts, nor other programs that support the middle-class.
---
Was just looking at a list of 15 cities that mainscream media is blaming Trump for the drop in tourism travel.. In order: Washington, DC, Orlando, New Orleans,San Francisco, Honolulu, Houston, NYC, LA, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, San Diego, Denver, and Boston.. Parsing the list, it's easy to understand why tourism has dropped.. and none of them are Trump related.. Of the cities on the list, Atlanta is the only one I have on my return destinations list.. and that's not because it's ATLANTA, it's because one of my daughters lives there with her family.
---
Online headline: "Congress' top 2 Dems to meet Trump on government spending" -- Hmmm... Pelosi and Schumer... I don't who's more disappointed.. me learning that Pelosi and Schumer are the top two Democrats, or the Democratic Party base of voters knowing Pelosi and Schumer are their leaders.
---
From the "well, it's a good start" - Online story: "Former Florida Democratic Rep. Corrine Brown was sentenced on Monday to five years in prison for mail, wire and tax fraud involving a sham charity." -- Hope this is a good omen of the future of the Clintons and their sham foundations..
---
Asked Council and the Mayor where is the FINAL DISCLOSURE list of the "Thaw the Freeze" committee she was a part of.. She sent me to the "Financial Disclosures" page of the Board of Elections Department of the Consolidated Government of Columbus..  been there, done that... BEFORE I asked .. The last report was dated October 31st, 2016, but there isn't one posted AFTER the election.. I suppose she feels that no money was received/reported or spent in the 8 days of November preceding the election end..
---
We know who John Pezold is supporting against Columbus's own.. and super qualified Secretary of State candidate, Josh McKoon, but let's hear from our other "Republican" state office holders/candidates.. how about it Richard Smith, Randy Robertson, and Vance Smith (others if I missed you). You know.. since electing a Columbusite to a GA Statewide office will be a boon for all of Columbus, maybe our legislators in the Democratic Party should go public as well.. who among them will put their Party above what's best for the community?
---
From the "whooooops.. the cat's out-of-the-bag" department - L-E headline/story: "Developers for TAD project seek delay of public hearing * At a Nov. 28 meeting, Mayor Teresa Tomlinson expressed concerns about using the funding mechanism to develop an area already rife with development, while many areas of south Columbus remain blighted." -- Details.. details... details... what's really happening is the Mayor is concerned about the maximum amount of bond that can be issued and not keeping her southside political promises to the Democrats in Columbus.
 ---
Uber-LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Don’t worry about Democrat Jones being bought and paid for. Worry about congressional Republicans sticking it to all Americans making under $75K so they can pay back their wealthy donors." -- Hmmm.. I don't know how having the personal deductions for a family raised to $24,000.00 will effect the lifestyle of a person with millions in annual income, but deducting $24,000.. BEFORE calculating taxes on $75,000 will have a dramatic positive impact on every family.
 ---
L-E commentary headline: "Tax reform has forced me to consider becoming a billionaire * BY CHRIS JOHNSON * Correspondent" -- Well why not.. liberalism has approved of anyone being whatever they wish just by announcing it.. even gender so why not economic status.
 ---
L-E story: "A federal law that effectively bans commercial sports gambling across most of the nation faced skepticism at the Supreme Court on Monday. * A majority of the justices indicated that the law had crossed a constitutional line by requiring states to do the bidding of the federal government." -- Good grief! Is Chief Justice John Roberts doing a total flip-flop on his reasoning to allow Americans to be fined if they didn't comply with FEDERALLY MANDATED "TAXATION" for not buying OObamaCRAP health insurance!
---
From the "no way" department - Missouri's Drew Lock was named 1st team SEC quarterback, and Mississippi State's Nick Fitzgerald was snubbed altogether.
--

You know the most disappointing.. as well as the most heartening aspect of electing Trump as president is finding out we are having to shine the "light of truth" into the carry-over FBI and DOJ.. It's even more of a bummer to find out that past FBI/DOJ leaders have been just as crooked as establishment politicians.

Monday, December 4, 2017

Soapbox Moment - Online story: "A group of FBI agents appeared to fire back at President Donald Trump after Trump slammed the agency on Sunday and said its reputation was "in Tatters." * “Every day, FBI Special Agents put their lives on the line to protect the American public from national security and criminal threats," Thomas O'Connor, the president of the advocacy group FBI Agents Association, said in a statement Sunday evening."-- You know.. when a few people within an organization have the power to destroy lives, abusing that power in an unlawful manner, in and abusive manner, undermines the integrity of all that work there. We're seen this vividly in the past.. and especially the past two terms of former President Obama.. We've seen the IRS used as a "hitman" against ordinary Americans who wanted to express their rights guaranteed by our Constitution; we've seen establishment Congresspersons overpowering the civil rights of those who work for them; and we are seeing mainscream media create their version of the "news" it wants to "print"... yes all these "Institutions" are further destroying the confidence America "feels" and "thinks" about them.. but.. BUT when the FBI has power, the opportunity.. to protect the us from abusive organizations/people, and FAILS us in any capacity, Americans have the right to demand perfection, and who more representative of America is our president, and exposing the corruptness of a few withing the DOJ/FBI leadership is President Trump's promise to us.. to Make America Great Again. Between Holder. Lynch, and Comey, political criminals have walked among us without fear of the repercussions we average Americans would receive if we did the same. When Trump speaks of the reputation of the FBI being "in tatters", he is giving the 99% of the rest of the "good agents" a chance to step forward, and help oust the ones at he top who have tainted their reputations. America needs to know that OUR FBI wants us to trust in them again... wants to feel confident in them to the shine light of truth into the dark shadows of not only the "underworld", but of those who govern us. Are you listening Thomas O'Connor!

From the "doesn't mainscream media KNOW that December comes after November" department - Online headline/story: "Top Trump transition official in private email: Russia 'has just thrown' the election to Trump * A senior member of President Donald Trump's transition team said in email to a colleague on December 29, 2016, shortly after the Obama administration had imposed new sanctions on Russia, that the transition team should try to reassure the country that had just "thrown" the election to Trump. * The transition official, KT McFarland, told the unnamed colleague in the email obtained by the New York Times that the sanctions were aimed at delegitimizing Trump's election victory." -- Good grief.. the real story is Obama trying to further damage US-Russian less than a month before Trump took office, and the REAL STORY was from 2021 when Obama was caught on a "live Mic" telling the Russian official to tell Putin he "would be more flexible after the election".
---
From the "oh yeah, then I can trump firing Lauer with suspending a REAL news person" department - Online story: "ABC News said on Saturday it had suspended Brian Ross, its chief investigative correspondent, over an error in his reporting about former national security adviser Michael Flynn which sent U.S. stocks, the dollar and Treasury yields lower on Friday. * "Effective immediately, Brian Ross will be suspended for four weeks without pay," added ABC News, owned by the Walt Disney Co." -- Guess mainscream media just "set a standard"... mess with President Trump.. get suspended, mess with an intern/co-worker, get fired"!
---
L-E headline/story: "REDEVELOPMENT * New North Columbus plan raises concerns * the project would also include traffic improvements and enhancements at Flat Rock Park. A road would be developed to ease traffic from the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Talokas Lane all the way to Flat Rock Road. * The improvements were requested by city planners. * Mayor Teresa Tomlinson immediately raised concerns about the proposal, stating she was unaware the plans existed until they appeared on the council agenda. * “Usually, almost always, TADS are in distressed properties, that’s the point,” she said. “It’s not the public’s role to subsidize private development." -- I'm not so curious about the request, but I'm more than curious about Council's seemingly obliviousness... Why wouldn't Council KNOW about it if a request to build a new road was requested to.. or by... City Planners? And what a road.. Looking at the map, it appears there are streams, Flat Rock Park, an existing subdivision, huge rock formations or an apartment complex that would have to be dealt with regardless of any route chosen. Hmmm... anybody remember what Buffalo Bob use to open his show with? Remember, "Hey kids, what time is it... and the kids responded, "It's Howdy Doody time!" Well, looks like Councils response will be, "It's quandary time"! Time for Mayor Tom-LYING-son to "pay the piper".

From the "we need a little help here" department - Remember the assault on our Property Tax Freeze in 2016? The "Keep the Freeze" group filed all it's required donations/expenditure forms on time. The "Thaw The Freeze" group's final disclosures are still not posted.. who do we contact?

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "To the writer who saw “illegal immigration” as the same thing as “sexual abuse,” you need to read about the poverty and violence immigrants are trying to escape. Ignorant words are destructive and hurtful." -- "read about the poverty and violence immigrants are trying to escape"? Hmmm ...this "soundoff" writer needs to read about the poverty and violence illegal immigrants ARE CAUSING once they get here!
---
L-E headline/story: "Retired military leaders call for gun control * Sixteen of the nation’s top retired military commanders are urging Congress to pass gun control legislation, arguing that there are many steps that can be taken to curb gun deaths that do not violate the Second Amendment." -- "16 of the top retired military commanders"? 16 out of what 1000s and 1000s of top retired military leaders? America revolted... and won .. from a foreign government because of the guns our forefathers had when the foreign government tried to control us with its own military forces. No.. just say "NO" to military/political leaders - retired or otherwise - who advocate for gun confiscation from law abiding citizens exercising their rights of the hard fought for 2nd Amendment!

You know, mainscream media has more to worry about than private citizens if the 2nd Amendment was ever repealed.. or, for that matter, weakened.. The 2nd Amendment is the only thing standing in the way of eliminating the 1st Amendment, and the 1st Amendment is all media has to give them the right to disagree with the 2nd..

From the above L-E story: "According to the Centers for Disease Control, the rate of gun deaths rose for the second straight year in 2016, to 12 per 100,000 people." -- Hmmmm... it seems to me that mainscream media ought to be siding with removing the 2nd Amendment rights of CRIMINALS, not law abiding citizens...
---
From the "now it's gone full circle" department - L-E guest commentary: "Democrats need to drop identity politics — now *BY FROMA HARROP * Creators Syndicate * Bernie Sanders helped elect Donald Trump, and for that he will never be forgiven. But give this to Sanders: He’s totally right that Democrats must drop their obsession with identity politics if they want to regain power." -- Good grief.. mainscream media will say anything other than Hellary was the victim of herself! And as far as Democrats needing "to drop their obsession with identity politics". when have you seen a Democrat political ad proudly proclaiming its focus candidate IS a Democrat?

Our L-E publishes the drivel of Leonard Pitts, Jr., another McClatchy newspaper's in-house columnist:

This is the real Leonard Pitts... racist! - he wrote about the murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, a white couple who were raped and murdered by five black assailants in Knoxville, Tennessee. In his column addressing the murders, Pitts wrote: "I am [...] unkindly disposed toward the crackpots, incendiaries and flat-out racists who have chosen this tragedy upon which to take an obscene and ludicrous stand. I have four words for them and any other white Americans who feel themselves similarly victimized. Cry me a river." - Copied from Wikipedia .

You know, after a weekend of mulling the effect that a San Francisco jury inflicted on all Americans by finding an oft captured/deported illegal alien, using a stolen gun and killing a random American citizen "not guilty" of murder has made me remove any doubt of returning to California for any event, Anybody want to buy my Rose Bowl tickets I'm not buying for January 1st?

From the "we need a little help here" department - Remember the assault on our Property Tax Freeze in 2016? The "Keep the Freeze" group filed all it's required donations/expenditure forms on time. The "Thaw The Freeze" group's final disclosures are still not posted.. who do we contact?

You know, the four teams picked as "The FOUR" for the FBS Championship series is the best group picked since it started..all four state's supported Trump in 2016 ( in fact, the states of 10 of the Top 11 did).. and continue today!
---
Dang -- now we're gonna have to deal with real Auburn fans having to deal with Malzahn until 2024. I don't mind them rolling the Oaks at Toomer's Corner.. or losing a game, but all the whining is a bit much..

---
Was nice to see Ricky Fowler tear it up with a 11-under par round of 61 to win in the Bahamas, and it was nice to see Tiger Woods finish in the money.. in fact, it was nice, very nice,  to see Tiger finish an event..

Conyers just cannot win...his lawyers say they will defend Conyers "'til the cows come home". Now Pelosi is gonna catch it from the feminist libs that Conyers feels that are cows. Conyers, literally, has really "stepped in it" this time.
---
Conyers has also said if he goes down, he's taking 1000s of corrupt Democrats with him.. What said state when we have a Congressperson who knowingly tolerates corruption within his party that affects America, and does not call attention to such as is his sworn duty to do so.
---
From the "say what?" department - Online headline: "The final tax bill Democrats got from Republicans is covered in handwritten notes — and senators are complaining it's unreadable" -- Say what!.. Since when did Democrats ever start reading bills BEFORE they voted on them? Seems to me we'd never be stuck with OObamaCRAP if Pelosi told them to READ it to "see what was in it" before voting for it.
---
It really gets my head spinning trying to figure out why Democrats are against tax cuts because the National Debt might increase even though the tax cuts will greatly improve the GDP and future tax revenues. Didn't the National Debt double to its current level in the 8 years of Obama in office?
---
From the "say where?" department - Online headline/story: "World leaders call for stop to 21st century sale of human beings after video shows slave auction in Libya * The scene appeared lifted from a mid-19th century New Orleans market, with an auctioneer soliciting bids from would-be slave owners. * But the video was shot with a cell phone, and the footage taken from a slave sale in current-day Libya where African migrants seeking freedom were instead peddled as property. * “Slavery has no place in our world and these actions are among the most egregious abuses of human rights,” declared U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres before the two-day session." -- Of course, a scene such as this credited to New Orleans could have just as easily be "lifted .. from a Boston, MA pier" as well, but the REAL QUESTION is: "Why aren't Colin KaperPRICK, the NFL players, Black Lives Matter, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharlatan, former President Obama, and the Antifa over in Libya "taking a knee" for REAL injustice?
---
From the "I didn't see this coming" department - Online headline: "NBC not planning to pay out Matt Lauer's salary" -- Well, well, well... looks like somebody at NBC has "grown a set"... wonder who he/she is?
---
This is a repeat of an article I posted 3 or 4 Columbus homicides ago.. Now Columbus is on the verge to become tied with Oakland, CA with 20 murders per 100,000 so I think it's appropriate.
http://247wallst.com/special-report/2017/11/13/americas-25-murder-capitals-2/2/
---
There has been a "memory walk" in a Columbus, GA based FB site about old businesses no longer open in town. Recently, mention of W.D. Crowley's came up. Before W.D. Crowley's operated there, a night spot/restaurant called Br'er Rabbits was there. customers were lead down stairs to a lower level for dining. I wonder what is left under the current Mall level business sitting on top of Br'er Rabbit's/W.D. Crowley's..
-------------------------
Online headline: "Trump mocked over empty seats White House Christmas Tree Lighting" -- Hmmm... "empty seats"? Bet they were reserved for prominent Democrats.. just shows you Democrats talk a lot about "bipartisanship? but they are the ones that do not show up at events created or hosted by Trump.. on he other hand.. Christmas is a Christian based remembrance, so who really expects Democrat politicians to participate.. it would appear biased to their base.
---
From the "will wonders never cease" department - Online headline: "ABC News corrects its report about 'candidate' Trump and Flynn" -- A Fred Sanford was apt to say, "It's the big one, Elizabeth, I'm coming to see you". What's going on here.. since when is ABC.. well, for that matter, any mainscream media source, been concerned about reporting the truth, much less about correcting it's "fake news"?
---
What exactly is mainscream media frothing over with Mike Flynn copping a plea lying to the FBI.. First. I assume the FBI has records made of interviews (transcripts, videos) to show to a jury...but how come the FBI has these yet didn't keep such records when they talked with Hellary?. Secondly, why did it take so long for Mueller to figure out Flynn was lying.. Trump figured that out quickly and fired Flynn.
---
From the "he who laughs last, laughs best" department - Online headline/story: "James Comey tweets 'justice' Bible verse after Flynn pleads guilty * “But justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” Amos 5:24," Comey wrote on Twitter; he also cross-posted it to Instagram" -- Seems to me that James Comey might be more worried about "what goes around, comes around" .. Lying to the FBI is a criminal offense, but it certainly cannot be as dastardly as an FBI head LYING to Congress or American citizens.. In order to prove Flynn lied, Comey must have had some sort of "recording" of what Flynn said, yet Comey stated that there were no such records of interviews with Hellary and that doing so was not normal procedure..and we know that no records of the Slick Willie/Loretta Lynch airplane meeting didn't exist... until 30 documents were found hidden in another case file.
---
You know, if the FBI wants to arrest people for lying, our jails should be full of Democrat politicians for lying to the American voters.
---
From the "let justice finally ring its bell" department - L-E headline: "Georgia Supreme Court rejects ‘Stocking Strangler’ Carlton Gary’s appeal for new trial or sentence" - The one final act of justice would be for the one surviving child of the women killed be allowed to responsible for pushing the switch for the final injection!
---------------------
L-E headline: "Jury finds man not guilty in Oakland Park murder trial" -- Hmm.. and another murder/homicide becomes unsolvable.. (wink, wink).
---
L-E headline: "House GOP plan would end student loan forgiveness" -- Isn't it refreshing to seeing our government becoming responsible for all the citizens.. not just the snowflake ones....

---
L-E headline/story: "Tesla puts largest battery in Australia Outback * The world’s biggest lithium-ion battery has plugged into an Australian state grid, an official said Friday, easily delivering on Tesla Inc. Chief Executive Elon Musk’s 100-day guarantee. * Tesla partnered with Neoen to build the battery, which is more than three times larger than the previous record-holder at Mira Loma, Calif" -- Hmmm After the experience with Samsung 7's exploding lithium-ion batteries, what will be the collateral damage of an exploding 100-megawatt battery?

Why does Mayor Tom-LYING-son have high hopes for running for Senator in 2020? She certainly has no plan for leaving Columbus with HIGH HOPES in her final year in office here...Am looking at the preliminary budget figures (page 76 of 262) for Fiscal Year 2018, and every category is projected DOWN:

GENERAL PROPERTY TAX: DOWN 1.06% from the 2017 Budget

FRANCHISE FEES (Utilities) DOWN 3.38% from 2017 Budget

GENERAL SALES & USE TAXES (Our 1st LOST tax): DOWN 3.79%

SELECTIVE SALES & USE TAXES: DOWN 1.08%

BUSINESS TAXES: DOWN 1.98%

This is just one page of the RECOMMENDED 2018 BUDGET and anticipated revenues are projected DOWN by $1,863,827.00 (over 1.5% LESS).

On scary note is the 1st LOST TAX decline,, total projections for 2018 are $33,000,000.00. That means the Public Safety SPLOST revenues will be even less as ales taxes on hotel/Motels and Car Sales were excluded in this SPLOST.

What's even more depressing about Columbus under Queen Tom-LYING-son's reign is that the economy of the rest of America is SOARING.. The Stock Market DJIA just tore through the 24,000 mark (closed at 23.940) which was at 18,332 on the day Trump was elected.. up some 30.5%.

And this is not very good news for the MCSD 2015 SPLOST, either.. With revenues already coming in about 13% LOWER than "wished for", the City anticipating another drop for 2018 is troubling at a minimum.
---
Online headline/story: "Matt Lauer wants $30 million from NBC after his firing for sexual harassment, report says * Lauer’s lawyers are working on a plan to get him the remainder of his $20 million per year contract, which would have run another year and a half had he not been terminated over allegations of sexual misconduct." -- Hmm.. I tell you what, we should all pray that when this goes to court, that Lauer is faced with a "Jury of his LEERS".
---
In a world where there are "no coincidences", the L-E has a story on Voter Fraud going on now across the river, while Democrats in GA noisily protest there are no voter fraud worries. This is why GA's next Secretary of State must be a conservative Republican, and none of the candidates is better qualified as our own Josh McKoon. Josh McKoon was outed from the chairmanship of the GA Senate Judiciary Committee because he was so insistent of other legislators not being influenced by lobbyists, the Senate leaders shut down that committee down to shut Josh up. What a wonderful testament to Josh McKoon’s character. Makes you really wonder why local District 133 Rep John Pezold doesn't ardently back Columbus' Josh McKoon.
---
Pezold says he can't back McKoon because he made a decision 4 months earlier than McKoon committed to back an out-of-towner. You know, when I was being schooled about decision making, my Dad stressed how "good decisions" were the goal, not ones based purely on whether it was "right' or not. A "good decision" he would say, is based on the best available information at that time, and leaves room to add and digest NEW INFORMATION as it comes forward. This way, a "good decision" can be either "confirmed" or "tempered" if new info strengthens or alters the facts you had available when a decision was first made.. Hanging on to a decision when new info shows there is a better choice is at a minimum 'foolish".
---
Another "jury fail"! The illegal alien.. oft caught and deported, but protected by Sanctuary laws in California, was acquitted of murdering Kate Steinle. What is it when a jury decides to acquit a person.. a criminal just by being in America at that time, possessing a gun illegally (and a stolen one at that), pulling the trigger of that gun, and shooting an American citizen.. for political protests against a president wanting to uphold our Constitution he is sworn to protect? Now is the time to build "the Wall"... only we don't need to start on our Southern border, it needs to be erected on the border that separates California from the other 47 states connected by our highway and river systems!

---

Hmmm .. Sports Illustrated just awarded Colin KaeperPRICK the Muhammad Ali Award.. Muhammad Ali is rolling in his grave.. Maybe the military should issue a recall and future ban of any Swimsuit issues on military bases.
---
Online headline/story: "Judge delays, tries to rein in X-rated civil trial of Jeffrey Epstein * What promised to be a salacious trial probing billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual relationships with underage girls won’t get underway next week as planned. * Citing the many unanswered legal questions that still swirl around the 8-year-old civil lawsuit pitting attorney Bradley Edwards against the 64-year-old Palm Beach convicted sex offender, Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Donald Hafele agreed to delay the trial until March." -- Hmmm.. Judge Hafele.. appointed by Charlie Crist, the RINO who was outed as a true Democrat, then Governor of Florida/now Dem Representative in Washington. Guess Clinton still has a few friends working to keep him off the witness stand.. I mean, when a sitting president is impeached for "lying", any prosecuting attorney would have no problems getting the court to consider Clinton a "hostile witness" which will give the prosecutor tremendous leeway in questioning him about his trips on Epstein's plane to Epstein's island.
---
You know, with the City buying millions of dollars in property tax/assessment software and services for the Tax Assessors Office, how come we can't pay our taxes online...seems an electronic check option would save a lot of the problems of collections... hmmm...might even allow the Tax Office to reduce its staff and save some of that money spent on updating the software system.
---
From the "WOW!.. it sure is nice to be living in today's "world of medicine" department - Online story: "Biomedical engineers at Duke University developed a "heart patch" to cover and repair heart tissue damaged by heart attacks that's just as strong and active as real tissue. * The study surrounding the advancement, published in Nature Communications, details how this new patch is an enormous step forward in repairing dead heart muscle." -- My late Dad.. a UNC Tarheel graduate will probably wake up as I proclaim, "Yea DUKE!" Oh, and PRAISE GOD!
---
From the "talk about Fake News talking about Fake News" department - Online headline/story: "Poll reveals Fox News as the winner of ‘Fake News Trophy’ * Americans have declared Fox News as the winner of the "Fake News Trophy." * In a recent Rasmussen Reports poll, 40 percent of respondents found the cable network worthy of the distinction. * CNN was the runner-up, with 25 percent of the vote. MSNBC came in a distant 3rd at 9 percent, while ABC, CBS, and NBC garnered, 4 percent, 3 percent, and 2 percent, respectively." -- Hmmm// the adage, "Figures don't lie, but liars figure a lot" is most appropriate here.. what the survey/poll shows is that 40%.. which is even LESS that Hellary/Democrats' base, don't like Fox. but 60% consider the multitude of liberal sources more FAKE.. it's just that the liberal sources are so numerous that the vote gets split.
---
Rest in peace.. Jim Nabors.. does everyone remember the first time you heard him sing.. what a voice behind the Gomer Pyle character we cherish him for.
---
L-E headline: "Springer decides against Ohio governor run * Jerry Springer has decided against throwing his chair into the ring." -- I guess Springer has been watching mainscream media tear up Lauer. Conyers, Weinstein and other poliicians and celebrities and figures he ain't got a prayer to win.
---
Hmmm.. now that John McCain has said he will support the Trump Tac Cut Bill, who wants to bet libs/mainscream media will now go after him as brain damaged?
---
L-E headline: "NORTHSIDE SOFTBALL * 4-year starter Hannah George signs with North Carolina" -- Wow.. UNC is a stronghold of Kirven family memories.. My Dad went there (Varsity Golf Captain) , Mother went to the UNC Women's College, and my older brother, his wife, two of his sons, and my Mother's brother (my Uncle Hal) all graduated from Chapel Hill. I do know there is one very proud grandfather among my Facebook followers/friends.. Congrats!

Since politicians harassing women has become a full contact event.. what's the latest with Jehmu Greene's revelations about Calvin Smyre?
