Hmmm... do you ever wonder what Harvey Weinstein "feels" about his world caving in while Roman Polanski and Woody Allen continue to exist?
---
For a man claiming to respect the office of the Senate, Franken surely failed in his resignation to show remorse or humbleness, and passed as much blame for his actions on the administration that just took office. Where was his concern during the previous 8 years when Obama was in office?
---
You know, if Franken says he will resign, how can his fellow Senators allow him to continue to serve until he's ready in a a few weeks? And I'm talking about his fellow Democrat Senators.. he could vote against the DNC "official stance" on a vital issue, and the Republican Senators, as well as the litigants' attorneys should be concerned about any evidence "cleansing" he might do with his files and hard drives?
---
Franken is such a phony... in his first campaign, Franken's wife made an impassioned testimony on how her husband stood her side as she battled the destructive effect of alcohol dependency...wanna bet he didn't want her beside him as he groped other women?
---
Al Franken's party coerced resignation is basically a last ditch effort to get Doug Jones elected in Alabama.. The Dems know Franken's replacement will be another Democrat and if you caught his resignation speech faux pas. "she"..as he said, is already picked out.
---
So Franken has joined Conyers in being designated as the sacrificial "lambs" to hide the many Democrat abuses on women's issues. Wonder if Alec Baldwin will don a gray wig and become the skit icon on Saturday Night Live.

From the "only California would think about this" department: "Wildfires blazing through Southern California are worrying marijuana growers, who fear that smoke could damage their crops, the basis of a newly legalized industry in the state. * For the cannabis industry, recovering like the rest of the state from devastating fires two months ago that killed 44 people and ravaged scores of pot farms north of San Francisco's Bay area, the new wave of wildfires comes at a challenging time." -- Hmmm... people's homes/lives have been engulfed in flames, and politicians are worried about tax revenue losses from a vice industry...

Listening to Democrats asking FBI Director Wray questions that are aimed at trying to protect known Democrat supporters rather than get to the truth make me sick. Sheila Jackson Lee is the worst...She actually read the "mission statement " of the FBI to Director Wray and asked him if he followed such. I remember specifically that she did not read that statement to Director Comey or previous Director Mueller, much less ask if they followed such themselves.
---
I was really disappointed in FBI Director Christopher Wray's first day in the House Committee session.. he had a chance to show America that we can depend on the FBI to be diligent in protecting us from political abuses but refused to disclose names on a FISA/FISC application requested by Representative Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, even though the Committee Chair said such disclosure was not banned from public Committee hearings. Wray may have thought he was protecting "protocol", but what he protected was whether or not the FBI agent was representing the Democratic Party interests or the interests of the American citizens. Bad choice, Director Wray.

From the "let's pretend we are God" department - Online story: " A change could be coming to birth certificates in the state of Washington. * Next year, a third option may be available beyond just ‘male’ or ‘female.’ The third option would be gender ‘X’." -- God gave us all "free will" so we could determine our choices we make.. since when did God give other people.. even parents and health industry workers, the power to make such a decision for one of His creations?
---
From the "maybe he might rethink his position on US Constitution Amendments 1 and 2... and 5 and 6" department - Online story: "DOUALA, Cameroon – An advocacy group says a Cameroonian-American writer who criticized the government over months of Anglophone protests has been detained in the Central African nation. * Patrice Nganang had written an article for Jeune Afrique in which he was critical of how Cameroon has handled a sometimes violent secessionist movement in some English-speaking areas. * Nganang went missing from the airport in Douala on Thursday. He is a dual U.S. citizen and a professor at Stony Brook University in New York." -- I probably should look into his writings about our Constitutions, but my gut instincts tell me this writer's works decry the freedoms that are protected by our Constitution as compared to the freedoms in 3rd world countries.
---
There has been called an emergency UN Security Council meeting for today to discuss the US moving its Israel Embassy to Jerusalem. The UN is concerned about potential conflicts this might make.. seriously? There hasn't been "no conflict " there in 1100 years!

From the "NBC has really "stepped in it" department - Online headline/story: "NBC says Olympic host Mike Tirico’s sexual harassment at ESPN is old news * All of the allegations against Tirico came when he was employed at ESPN, but it appears NBC is willing to look the other way despite an ongoing change in culture across the media landscape that has resulted in many high-profile dismissals for similar misconduct.
* “When we hired Mike in 2016, we were aware of the incidents from more than 25 years ago, which had been addressed in 1991-92 by ESPN, his employer at the time, and for which he has apologized," an NBC spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter" -- Whoa! What difference does knowing about Tirico's past make when he was hired, than knowing about Lauer's history when his contracts were renewed.. I tell you what.. I believe NBC has established Matt Lauer.. and any NBC women employees, grounds to sue on discrimination reasons.

From the "Philadelphia needs another slogan" department -- Online headlines from yesterday: "Seth Williams, Philadelphia's first black DA, begins 5-year term after bribery conviction". "3 teens charged as adults in deadly beating of homeless man in Philadelphia", "Sixteen-year-old arrested in shooting deaths of 2 Philadelphia teens", and "Outrage as Philly pushes through ban on bulletproof glass in crime-plagued neighborhood shops" -- I do believe Philadelphia has worn out its "City of Brotherly Love" slogan.. maybe Philadelphia can buy on of the rejects from Columbus' search for a mew one... I suggest, "Philadelphia.. Enter At Your Own Risk".
---
The one Philadelphia headline story I want to discuss in detail is the last one above: "Outrage as Philly pushes through ban on bulletproof glass in crime-plagued neighborhood shops * Philadelphia is one step closer to getting rid of bulletproof glass in many of its small businesses as part of a larger effort to crack down on loitering, public urination and potential drug sales -- but the potential ban has triggered a backlash from shopkeepers. * “No establishment required to obtain a Large Establishment license … shall erect or maintain a physical barrier that requires the persons serving the food either to open a window or other aperture or to pass the food through a window or other aperture, in order to hand the food to a customer inside the establishment,” the bill states. * Several of the hundreds of deli owners told FOX29 they feel as though they are being singled out, and numerous shopkeepers are among those protesting the bill. * “If the glass comes down, the crime rate will rise and there will be lots of dead bodies,” Rich Kim, the owner of Broad Deli, which sells soda, meals and beer by the can, said. “The most important thing is safety and the public’s safety.” -- Good grief.. The Philadelphia Health Department pretty much has said it doesn't support the health of business owners or their employees! And wait until greedy lawyer files a class action suit and gets "drive thru" windows declared as part of the insides of fast food restaurants..
---
Fox News online headline/story: "Border Patrol agent's mysterious death was no accident, union chief says * Culberson County Sheriff Oscar Carillo said the two agents could have sustained their injuries -- which included broken bones -- when a tractor trailer’s mirror sideswiped the agents and pushed them into the culvert, which was about 8 feet 8 inches high, the Dallas Morning News reported. Carillo added there had been several accidents reported on Interstate 10." -- The Sheriff that suggested this scenario needs to be investigated for his political leanings toward illegal aliens and.. whether anyone i his circles of friends and family may not be legal American citizens..but what should evident is whether the killing blow matched up with a side mounted truck mirror, and whether either agent was tall enough to "get hit'.
---
From the "red herring" department - Online headline/story: "Atlanta tech companies worry that tax bill undermines research * A combination of clauses in the bill passed by the Senate virtually eliminate much of the current tax incentives for research." --- Good grief.. the "incentive" for research should be the search and belief in and for a better product, not whether a company can use "research" as a "catch-all" for wasting time and money from a multitude of bad choices.
---
From the "why is this man still involved in the future of America" and the "Hey, John Lewis, what specifically has President Trump done to YOU" department - Online headline/story: "John Lewis re-evaluates civil rights museum visit after Donald Trump’s RSVP * U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Atlanta, said he will re-evaluate his plans to speak at the ribbon-cutting of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum this weekend amid reports that he would be sharing a stage with President Donald Trump. * “It’s going to be very difficult for me to be there and be on the same platform with him,” the civil rights leader and 30-year congressman said of the president in an interview Wednesday." -- It's horrid thinking like this that is derailing the future of America.. when elected leaders cannot.... more like.. WILL NOT.. focus on the future because they are anchored in the past is a major reason of hatred and racism that permeate our society. I'll trade John Lewis for John Conyers and Al Franken in order to move on and make America Great Again. One question, John Lewis, what has Trump ever done to YOU!
---
Online headline/story: "A rough round of runoffs for LGBT candidates * A trio of LGBT candidates was defeated in a round of Tuesday runoff elections that reshaped metro Atlanta’s political landscape." -- You know.. there's a new atmosphere in politics since the "politically correct" atmosphere as been exposed as folly.. Voters are now more at ease in for for the "Substance" of a candidate rather than the "Style" of a candidates politics/beliefs.. America will be GREAT Again!

Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "You can’t hum while holding your nose closed." -- Hmmm.. and I'll bet a dollar you tried to do it before reading my bet.
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "If you Google search “askew” the content will tilt slightly to the right. (Try it.)"
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "The most common Zodiac signs of prolific serial killers are Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius." -- Hmmm.. good dinner conversation starter...
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "For every human on Earth there are approximately 1.6 million ants. The total weight of all those ants is approximately the same as the total weight of all the humans on Earth." -- Talk about feeling insignificant in the scheme of God's world...on the other hand, God probably thinks were are the most special, but need lots of help in keeping the His world clean.

From the "only in the minds of politicians" department - L-E story: "Columbus Council has approved plans to extend Tyler Technologies’ contract with the city in order to avoid problems with the 2018 tax digest. * The additional services addendum passed with a 6-4 vote Tuesday, one week after a Nov. 28 council meeting, during which four councilors voted against the proposal. * Those voting in favor at Tuesday’s meeting were Skip Henderson, Evelyn “Mimi” Woodson, Jerry “Pops” Barnes, Mike Baker, Gary Allen and Mayor Pro Tem Evelyn Turner-Pugh. Those opposed were Bruce Huff, Glenn Davis, Judy Thomas and Walker Garrett." -- "to avoid problems with the 2018 tax digest"? Since when is the problem causer consider the problem solution? As I understand it, we have 25 +/- employees in the Tax Office.. 3,600 parcels divide by 25 is 144 each.. that's 12 per month.. 3 per 40 hour week.. what else have those employees got to do? Unfortunately, it looks like we still have 6 Councilors still gulping down Mayor Tom-LYING-son's Kool-Aid.... and 3 who have opened their eyes, and 1, Councilor Huff, who has kept his eyes open through all of this. Bruce! We need ya.. Get in the Mayor's race.. PLEASE!
---
Have you noticed all the local football coach resignations this past week or so? One was because the coach recognized how much time he had to spend away from his family... the others were obviously based on lack of progress in the results department.. Makes you wonder if the MCSD has a higher standard for football than it does for classroom results.
---
L-E headline: "Ford to make all-electric vehicle in Mexico" -- Hmmm.. a battery powered vehicle.. you know, it seems Ford might want to invest in a Cocoa bean powered vehicle with such an available "fuel" source in proximity.

You know, a Saudi prince bought a Leonardo painting recently for $450,000,000.00.. Do really think the Saudi prince thought it was worth $450,000.000.00 or was he thinking that people will know he just could spend $450,000,000.00 on a painting because he could?
