From the "it's about time" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Wall Street Journal goes to bat against FBI and Robert Mueller for Trump * The Wall Street Journal editorial pages have emerged as one of the President Donald Trump's staunchest allies in his efforts to undermine the investigation into whether his campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election. * On Monday, the Journal excoriated Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the FBI for withholding information from Congress about the firing of a top agent who reportedly sent anti-Trump messages. * Mueller reassigned a top FBI agent, Peter Strzok, over the summer after it was discovered that Strzok had sent anti-Trump text messages, The New York Times reported over the weekend. Strzok led the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server and held a top role in the Russia probe, which Mueller has been leading since Trump fired former FBI director James Comey. (STRZOK was also the FBI agent that reworded the Comey memo about Hellary's e-mail crimes from "grossly negligent" to “extremely careless”.. effectively altering the class of crime Hellary committed)* "It is no slur against Mr. Mueller's integrity to say that he lacks the critical distance to conduct a credible probe of the bureau he ran for a dozen years," the editorial said. "He could best serve the country by resigning to prevent further political turmoil over that conflict of interest."" --
You know, sadly....we "expect" scandals and corruption within the day-to-day world of politics.. the power of spending other people's money to benefit ones self can be an aphrodisiac a lot of men and women just cannot... or have no desire to... resist. But.. a corrupt FBI is heartbreaking.. Americans have to KNOW the FBI is diligent and "perfect".. Obama, Holder, Lynch, Mueller, and Comey have destroyed our "innocence". This is one of those moments when the integrity of baseball was summed up in 5 words uttered following the "Black Sox Scandal".."say it ain't so, Joe". As the Queen of Hearts would have so succinctly responded, "OFF with their heads!"

Why want LaVar Ball just go away.. his kid "LIE-angelo" is attributing his shoplifting escapade to him being a victim of peer pressure (speaking on the Today Show, LIE-angelo essentially said that he "took something" because his teammates did first.). Great job, LaVar... NOT!

Online headline/story: "Nigerian migrants return from Libya with tales of horror * LAGOS, Nigeria – Some knelt and placed their foreheads to the ground in prayer. Several carried small children. After being stranded in Libya on a failed attempt to reach Europe, more than 250 Nigerian migrants were brought home and began sharing stories of abuse and fear. * "If they lock you up in a room, you hardly eat, that's number one," Ejike Ernest, one of the returnees, told The Associated Press on arrival late Tuesday in Lagos. "You'll urinate there, you'll defecate there and every morning, let me say three times a day, you will be severely beaten" until you can pay the money to be freed. * Nigeria's government, its president appalled by recent CNN footage of a slave auction in Libya where migrant Africans were "sold like goats," has committed to bringing its citizens home, along with a number of other African nations" -- Have you noticed that the horrific stories about the live slave auctions in Libya have just disappeared from our news? Guess the story wasn't "big enough" to get the attention of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharlatan, the DNC, or Black Lives Matter.

From the "it had to happen sooner or later" department - Britain foils Islamist suicide plot to kill PM May in Downing Street - Sky News" -- You know, with the growing Muslim population in London... and the voting power of Muslims reaching the strength to elect a Muslim Mayor, was this not expected?

Words of wisdom AND encouragement all will benefit from... especially those "stuck" in the past: “Success is determined not by whether or not you face obstacles, but by your reaction to them. And if you look at these obstacles as a containing fence, they become your excuse for failure. If you look at them as a hurdle, each one strengthens you for the next.” ― Dr. Ben Carson " -- But if you're racing toward a hurdle looking back at the last one, the next hurdle IS a stumbling block.. or wall.

So Facebook is going to have a separate Facebook Messenger program for kids under 13.. Hmmm.. I remember when Facebook didn't allow accounts for those under 14, but where are the parents of these children? Who allows tweens and younger onto an unprotected social media program?
---
Looks like ABC feels it is addressing it's credibility issue with its reporter Brian Ross. Hmmm so ABC is attempting to solve it with a band-aid. ABC feels taking Ross off all things Trump will fix it.. Hmmm, and how does ABC feel Ross will all of a sudden be credible to Trump followers.. any followers for that matter.. on other issues?
---
Mitt Romney just needs to sit down and shut up..He had his chance to be president and blew it..Romney started listening to the Republican establishment rather than the American voters when he had Obama decked following the first debate.. in other other words, if he was as savvy as Trump, he'd have been re-elected -m 2016 and Trump would not have felt compelled to step up to the plate.

I've never seen a tax cut that has run up our National Debt...on the other hand, I have seen out of control government spending and social programs send our debt soaring. It doubled in the 8 years of Obama

From the "throw this man a bubble suit to live in" department - Online headline/story: "Fiancé of Wall Street big killed by shark slams diving company * The fiancé of the Wall Street executive mauled to death by a tiger shark while scuba diving in Costa Rica last week is reportedly blaming the diving company for not keeping her out of harm’s way. * Dr. Jeffrey Rosenthal, a plastic surgeon who was engaged to Rohina Bhandari, 49, told the New York Post the divers who were with his fiancée didn’t have the necessary tools to ward off the shark. * Rosenthal, who called Bhandari a “10-star person,” said his fiancée loved scuba diving and had previously gone diving in Jamaica, the Galapagos Islands and the Bahamas. He added he found some comfort knowing she died while doing an activity she loved" - First off, by no means am I condemning the woman who was killed for something that happened in nature.... but...where the hell was gallant Dr Rosenthal! Either too busy to be with his fiance`.. or she didn't invite him.. and obviously, she was more than knowledgeable of ocean/sea scuba diving risks.. weenie!

Online headline: "Conyers announces retirement, endorses son to succeed him" -- Hmmm... that ought to make sure any and all evidence of cover-up/payoffs gets destroyed..
From the same story: "In 2010, John Conyers said he would reimburse the federal government for nonofficial use of his congressional vehicle by his son. That happened after the younger John Conyers told Detroit police someone stole two laptop computers and 1,000 concert tickets from the 2010 Cadillac Escalade after he parked it near Brush and Congress in downtown Detroit about midnight Nov. 24. * "I have just learned about the inappropriate use of a congressional vehicle by my son over the Thanksgiving holiday," Conyers said in a statement. "I am sorry it happened and will make sure that it does not happen again."* Police records showed the son had earlier been stopped for speeding in the same burgundy SUV. * John Conyers III, then 20, had worked in a $15-an-hour part-time job for his mother, Monica Conyers, a Detroit City Councilwoman, before she pleaded guilty to federal bribery charges." -- Good grief.. his reads more like a potential TV series that makes the Ewing family of Southfork look like choir boys and girls.
Now -- why, pray-tell, are we Americans paying for a car for John Conyers to have and allow his son to drive.. in Downtown Detroit... there might... MIGHT be a modicum of justification for Conyers to have a taxpayer funded vehicle in Washington, DC, but NOT in Detroit!

You know, John Pezold, our not-soon-enough-for-me-Ex-District 133 Representative, says he committed to Buzz Brockway several months before Josh McKoon threw his name into the GA Secretary of State's race, so he ("Pezold") must keep his promise... really.. Buzz Brocway's financial disclose shows that "Friends of John Pezold made a $500.00 donation on June 30th of 2017 which was after McKoon started putting out info he was considering entering the race... Funny though, is that Pezold used funds from his "campaign chest" after he announced his decision in April not to seek re-election. You know, there should be a law that politicians who announce their upcoming retirements (or who lose a primary or general election race) have to immediately close such accounts and either turn over the remaining funds to the state or to the original donors. By writing a check from his "Friends of John Pezold, he has effectively redirected the money of other people to another candidate. Such a move might make people guilty of a crime by having Pezold donate money they gave him to a candidate that they have maxxed-out the allowable amounts as defined by law.
Here's the line from Brockway's disclose form:

L-E headline/story: "HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL * Cedric Ware out as Kendrick Cherokees’ head football coach * Ware came to Kendrick from Aaron Cohn Middle School, where he was the head football coach in 2013 and 2014. The Hardaway alum also played for the Columbus Lions and was an assistant coach at Opelika High School and Fort Middle School. * Ware was the Cherokees head coach for three seasons, going 4-26 during that time. Kendrick went 1-9 in 2017, with the lone win being a 34-31 victory over Rutland that ended Kendrick’s 17-game losing streak " -- Let me get this straight....Hmmm... it's not OK for football coach not to have a noticeable track for success, but it is OK for principals and Superintendents not to have one?

You know, I really don't understand why McDonald's is struggling with trying to tweak its "Dollar Menu".. That's not their problem.. the problem is McDonald's has destroyed its image.. When my kids were under 10, I could not drive by a McDonald's without one or more wanting for me to stop and get something there.. usually a chicken nugget "Happy Meal". Now-a-days, when I drive with my 5 year old granddaughter, riding by a McDonald's doesn't even get her attention.. and its certain I'm not stopping for their fare.

L-E headline: "Some businesses use illegal ‘zappers’ to evade sales tax * BY STUART LEAVENWORTH * McClatchy Washington Bureau" -- This seems serious enough that McClatchy should start "naming names" of any retail store.. restaurant or merchandise.. that has done business with any of the software companies that make such software.

L-E headline/story: "Man seeking revenge killed innocent woman * The man charged in the Sept. 3 drive-by shooting near Ewart Avenue was trying to avenge his brother’s death when he allegedly killed an innocent woman, according to testimony Tuesday in Columbus Recorder’s Court." -- Here comes another "jury fail".. we've already had precedence set by a jury 30 or so years ago, when one man shot another "innocent" man who was riding in a car leaving the Government Center with a man the shooter intended to kill... and the jury found him "not guilty" because he wasn't trying to kill the man he actually shot.. and who subsequently died..
