Gotta love Trump! What a speech he gave to the graduates of the FBI Academy yesterday.. no fluff, no political correctness, no ambiguity.. Trump let these frontline "knights in shining armor" KNOW he supports them 100%. Trump let them KNOW that the ills in the scandals that hover above their leaders heads is not controlling their future. Trump will rebuild the FBI and DOJ that they and all America citizens can count on!
---
The most horrible realization we've learned... versus speculated... about the FBI is the documents showing the FBI in collusion with the Clintons and Democratic Party to undermine the much needed confidence mainstream America HAS to believe that the FBI is protecting us from internal enemies like the Clintons and Democratic Party.
---
Let's parse the FBI scandals...it's not about the rank and file and lower management
..it's about the actions of those appointed to upper levels of control that has bruised the reputation of the FBI & DOJ. I , and I'll bet Trump does as well, have complete confidence in the integrity of the field agents that the public actually comes in contact with, but the public NEEDS to know is that the frontline is confident with their bosses that control their efforts.

From the "Alfred E, Nueman, Biased, what, me biased?" department - Online story: "In his speech, the president also made a pitch for cracking down on immigration and stepped up his attacks on the visa lottery system and chain migration, which his administration has called on Congress to end in the wake of recent terror attacks in New York City. *(Trump) also painted an inaccurate picture, however, of a system that invites the "worst people," insinuating that names were put "in a bin" and chosen out at random. (Actually, visa lottery applicants must meet eligibility requirements to enter the program, and applicants are vetted through strict State Department processes.): -- "visa lottery applicants must meet eligibility requirements...vetted through strict State Department processes"? Good grief..and what WERE requirements and vetting under Hellary's reign of the State Department.. a donation to her foundations?
---
From the "look who's 'whistlin' Dixie', now" department - Online headline: After Alabama upset, Democrats see new prospects in the South" -- Good grief.. the Dems spent $30,000,000.00 plus backing Ossoff's losing effort in GA, and won just 1 of 7 Alabama Congressional Districts in Alabama in Jones' win, and now feel they have a chance to return to the South of Democrat Senator Robert "KKK" Byrd? Hmmm.. I'm taking bets right now..
From the above story: "The Jones campaign also offered a template for how Democrats can win in the South, strategists said: Field a strong candidate, crank up turnout among the region's sizable bloc of African-American voters, keep the liberal national party brand at arm's length and compete hard in every county and region." -- In a nutshell, it sounds like the Democratic Party "plan" is continued deception to it's voter base, racial profiling, and masking it's candidates true identity.. also sounds like the "plan" of both the KKK and Antifa.
---
From the "in California, it's all in how you DEFINE "sanctuary" department - Online headline/story: "There are now robots chasing away homeless people in San Francisco *
A company called Knightscope has created a security robot that’s being used to push homeless people away from the campuses of certain companies offices. * As reported by San Francisco Business Times, the Society for Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (SPCA) office in San Francisco was using the robots to deter homeless people from setting up camp around its parking lots and sidewalks. Other companies besides the animal shelter, such as Microsoft and Uber, rent out the robots for use on their campuses as well. As Popular Science notes, the bots can be rented out for less than minimum wage." --
Hmmm.. . I guess SF is only a sanctuary for illegals if they have a home.. oh, and man does this tarnish the SPCA plea of compassion to the homeless and strays.
---
From the "we're getting out of there" department - L-E headline.story: "Lithium battery maker to relocate, build Kentucky factory * A maker of lithium batteries is promising to provide an economic jolt to the Appalachian region, announcing plans Friday to relocate from California to Kentucky and build a factory employing hundreds of workers in an area reeling from the coal industry’s decline. * EnerBlu Inc. announced it will invest $372 million and create 875 full-time jobs in eastern Kentucky with the production facility in Pikeville. * The company also will move its headquarters from Riverside, Calif., bringing another $40 million investment and 110 administrative, research-and-development and executive jobs to Lexington, Kentucky’s second-largest city." -- Hmmm.. California's loss is not just Kentucky's gain, but America's, too. Batteries will remain affordable.
---
From the "liberals think they have found a "flying Snail Darter" department - Online headline/story: "A Texas butterfly sanctuary is trying to fight Trump’s border wall * The National Butterfly Center spans 100 acres in South Texas, and is home to what it says is the “the greatest volume and variety of wild, free-flying butterflies in the nation.” It’s also home to native plants, endangered wildflowers and other species native to the area near the Rio Grande — and serves as a crucial stop for Monarch butterflies on their migration through the region." -- In California, the "Snail Darter" causes as much damage as wild fires as California will not allow dams to release farm irrigation water if there are "snail darters" in the water.. now Texas libs feel that butterflies can stop "the Wall".. What butterfly advocates must not realize is that butterflies "fly", and a wall can be flown over.
---
From the "so much for the value of a Boston education" department - Online headline/story: "'Jingle Bells' rooted in racism, Boston University professor says * “Jingle Bells,” one of the most well-known Christmas carols in the world, is now being called racist. * “Jingle Bells” doesn’t have a single reference to Santa Claus or Jesus Christ, but the song, one of the most well-known Christmas carols in the world, is now under fire for its “problematic history.” * A Boston University theater professor claims the Christmas carol has a “problematic history” because it was originally performed to make fun of African Americans." -- This professor's "accreditation" must be as bad and Senator "Pocahontas" Warrens' claims of Native American heritage getting her a Harvard spot.
---
From the "confirmation Democrats consider Chicago a '3rd World" nation" department -
Online headline/story: "Gianno Caldwell: 'Black Lives Do Not Matter to Rahm Emanuel, Black Votes Do' * Fox News political analyst and Chicago native Gianno Caldwell called out Democratic Mayor Rahm Emanuel as the city continues to be plagued by violence. * "Black lives don’t matter to Rahm Emanuel, black votes matter to Rahm Emanuel," he told Shannon Bream. * Chicago's sky-high murder rate has now prompted calls from some city officials for the United Nations to step in. " -- Caldwell has nailed the Democratic Party "Manifesto", but what's scarier is that Chicago officials believe that the UN has presence and power inside the US...
---
From the "isn't this somewhat back(_@_)wards" department - L-E headline/story: "Judge blocks new Trump rules on birth control * A federal judge in Philadelphia on Friday ordered the Trump administration not to enforce new rules that could reduce women’s access to free birth control." -- Hmmm.. and I thought Trump was declaring a "new rule" over.. so the judge is actually set in overruling Trump's "overrule" of a new rule on birth control. My question is why is a lower judge ABLE to make a ruling other than to send this directly to the US SUPREME Court for preliminary scrutiny sine the SUPREME Court, and not the lower court, has equal billing with the Office of the President.
---
From the "this is FINALLY making it to the L-E (but buried on page 1B)" department - L-E headline/story: "Pope suggests changing the words of the Lord’s Prayer * The words in the Lord’s Prayer that ask, “Lead us not into temptation,” can cause confusion, Francis said. To make it clear that God would not lead anybody toward sin, the pope suggested a better translation of the Greek prayer from the New Testament would be something along the lines of, “Do not let us fall into temptation.”" -- Good grief.. POOP Francis needs counseling.. he must believe he outranks Jesus! The purpose of Jesus's prayer was to make perfectly clear that we have "free will" and need to be conscious of the decisions we make.. The POOP Francis concept means sinners could blame God for not stopping them.. What good would that do when God judges us one day?

Three things abundantly clear and obvious have been revealed during the current House Investigative sessions. One - is the bias of the investigative staff Mueller put together. Two - is that Jim Jordan should run for the House Speaker post, and Three - Democrats will target Jordan in 2018.
---
After seeing the drafts of Comey's report clearing Hellary BEFORE she was interviewed, I'm beginning to believe Comey was as, or possibly more skilled at lying than either of the Clintons.
---
If there was one thing more that became evident yesterday, it's that all passports and security clearance for all top DOJ and FBI officials during the Obama years be immediately revoked.
---
There's one aspect of sexual accusations that mainscream media does not address before it starts tearing into the targets of such.. which pretty much makes the subjects "targets", and just as much "victims" as the accusers claim to be. Mainscream media needs to demand that all such accusers make proper accusations at a law enforcement facility in the area where such accusations occurred, so that there is a sworn and signed document on record that can be used if/when the accusations are taken to, or challenged in court, by either the accusers or the accused.
---
From the "mainscream media doesn't get it... make that ..doesn't WANT to get it" department - Online story: "President Donald Trump has received in recent days a wave of new, underwhelming polling numbers — many of which have come from unexpected places. * Take for example a Suffolk University poll from earlier this week. It found that Trump's favorability rating among Fox News viewers was 58% — a substantial drop from the outlet's June and October surveys, which found Trump's favorability among Fox News viewers to be 90% and 74%, respectively." -- Trump's presidency is what America needs, and not what mainscream media/Democrats/RINOs want or understand.. America was like a floundering old company that was failing for it's failure to adjust to modern times.. Trump is like a "turnaround specialist".. he wasn't brought in to be popular with the old guard, he was elected to straighten the direction of the company.. and that's exactly what is happening.. and the people who were causing "the company (America)" to slowly fail do not like the changes that are necessary.. In other words, it's not "business as usual" anymore..GO TRUMP!
---
If we want to talk about a politician with a potentially small body part, Marco Rubio obviously has a SMALL brain if he plans on voting "no" on the mew tax cut bill
---
HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Mother accused of subjecting healthy son to 323 hospital visits, 13 surgeries * Eight-year-old Christopher Bowen of Dallas has reportedly been hospitalized more than 300 times and undergone 13 major surgeries ― and he may not have needed any of it. * While Bowen-Wright was allegedly carting her son, his oxygen tank and his wheelchair from doctor to doctor, Ryan Crawford, the boy’s father, was busy trying to convince Dallas County family court judges that Christopher was not actually sick, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Crawford claims that until recently, he had not been permitted to see his son since 2012. * “It was always the same story: ‘Christopher is dying. The father doesn’t need to be around because he doesn’t know to take care of him,’” Bowen-Wright would tell the judges, according to Crawford. “Every time I went to court, they made me feel like I was the worst human ever.” -- What a travesty! Not just for the child and his dad, but for American taxpayers and those duped.. and the worst offenders were any doctors who performed any of the surgeries! Surely, no doctor who performed a surgery without knowledge of what the surgery was to correct/cure should no linger have a license to be a doctor, and should be responsible for returning any/all fees collected for such.
---
Online headline: "LiAngelo Ball: UCLA Made Me Thank Trump After Release From Chinese Jail" -- Good grief.. President Trump should announce a new deal with China.. "Hey, Xi Jinping, let's start over, I'm returning LiAngelo Ball.. even throwing in his father to sweeten the deal.. to you to deal with.. be sure their passports expire before you finish with them."
---
Disney has purchased a lot of properties from the Fox empire...I'm glad the Fox New Division was not included, because, with Tinkerbell in charge, Fox's slogan would probably be changed from "fair & balanced" to "Fairy balanced".
---
From the "before the Democrats get too excited about 2018" department - Online headline/story: "How Doug Jones lost in nearly every congressional district but still won the state * Preliminary Alabama election numbers crunched by J. Miles Coleman of Decision Desk HQ reveal something astonishing: Democrat Doug Jones lost in six of Alabama's seven congressional districts, but he still managed to beat Roy Moore by 1.5 percentage points in the entire state. * Voters in Alabama's 7th Congressional District opted for Jones by a whopping 78 percent to 21 percent margin, the most lopsided result in the state. But Jones lost everywhere else, usually by just a few percentage points." -- And the source of this analysis is the WaPo...combine it with the fact that 93% of Democrats who voted in the 2016 elections came back to vote for Jones, while 50% of Republican voters in 2016 did not vote at all in this Special Election... Jones will be gone in 2020.
---
Another from the ""mainscream media doesn't get it... make that ..doesn't WANT to get it" department - Online headline/story: "Savannah legislators propose new laws to address city’s gun violence * Petrea’s bill would penalize people for supplying firearms to felons * Brittini Ray - Savannah Morning News * This week, Rep. Jesse Petrea, R-Savannah, pre-filed a bill that would penalize people for supplying guns to felons. House Bill 657 would make it a felony for any person to “knowingly and intentionally provide a firearm to a felon.”" -- Good grief.. providing guns to felons has ALWAYS been a crime.. and punishable.. but if this bill "passes", it will actually hamper the enforcement of existing laws.. making the specific charge that a private gun owner be proven to “knowingly and intentionally provide a firearm to a felon.” just gives every lawyer the "ammo" to convince a jury there is "reasonable doubt" that a private seller "might not know" if his "neighbor" has a felony conviction in his past.
---
From the "they are still going to have to show us savings" department - Online story: "The University System of Georgia is about to merge another four of its institutions into two * The system's Board of Regents voted Tuesday to consolidate Georgia Southern University and Armstrong State University and merge Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with Bainbridge State College. Both consolidations will take effect Jan. 1. * The two merged institutions will go forward under the names of Georgia Southern University and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Each will begin operating with expanded missions and degree offerings." -- What we do not "hear" is that the Board of Regents" has FOUND ways to reduce the cost of education, nor reduce the number of administration personnel nor professors.
---
L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * MCSD presents its priorities for 2018 General Assembly" -- Alas.. just wish the first thoughts were actually about providing better education to our students... in fact, I wish ALL the priorities were geared to providing better education to our students..
I'm beginning to wish that I withheld my guess ( the parking lot) about where the MCSD was planning to build the "wrestling" building at Columbus High until after it announced the location.. The fact that "they" have not announced it yet just indicates that no real thoughts were given to the location BEFORE throwing the project into the SPLOST "Slush List".
---
From the "every week I think I see the bottom level of stupidity the liberals can reach, but then I read about a new depth" department - Double-stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Tax cut? Yeah ... but not for you I complain to my Republican senators and congressmen every day. The donor class and fat cats who finance the GOP will have new jets and yachts while you lose everything. Merry Christmas, suckers." -- The Democratic Party serving Kool-Aid has to be made illegal!.. This is bad enough, but think that Dusty Nix "PICKED" this for inclusion just destroys his claim to be somewhat unbiased in his job at the L-E.
---
L-E story: "With 34 homicides recorded by the Columbus police this year, the sister of a Phenix City murder victim wanted to know if the city could put up more cameras along the streets to help police fight crime." -- hmm.. 34 homicides recorded by the PD.. sounds horrible.. gosh, how more horrible would it sound if the CPD said there were 41 homicides this year like the Columbus Coroner states?
---
You know, concern for the number of homicides in Columbus is somewhat "folly", and will be as long as juries will not fully convict murderers for their crimes.
---
Did you see the MCSD required posting ad on the "state of the SPLOSTs"? One notable.. no, pertinent... no IMPORTANT fact has been left out of this.. the current RECEIPTS of expected SPLOST revenues is coming in at only 87/88% of anticipation. .. meaning that nearly 1/7th of the projects will not be funded, and the MCSD will be right back at the end of the 5-year limit on the 2015 SPLOST collection period to "ask cor another". This means Mayor Tom-LYING-son's assertion that another 1-cent sales tax to build her next Taj Mahal Government Center will actually RAISE our local sales tax rather than just replace the off-going 2015 SPLOST tax.

L-E story: "Another Bulldogs player, freshman defensive back Latavious Brini, faces a felony forgery charge over allegations he passed a counterfeit $100 bill last summer. He was freed on $5,700 bond after his arrest Tuesday. Brini has not played this season and likely was to take a red-shirt." -- "take a red-shirt"? I was thinking he'll probably end up "getting an orange-jumpsuit" ...
---
L-E story: "A new Courtyard by Marriott has now opened its doors in downtown LaGrange, Ga., the city said Thursday." -- Hmmm... bet this is an oft repeated story for future hotels announcements when the Great Wolf Lodge recreation facility opens. Maybe Columbus Mayor Tom-LYING-son should add LaGrange as a "stop" on her high-speed rail route from here to Newnan/Atlanta..
---
L-E story: "Taking on Netflix, Amazon and a growing list of competitors, Redbox On Demand offers more than 7,000 movie and TV titles, including new releases. Content will come from most major studios, including Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures. * Prices start at $3.99 for a two-day rental, with no subscription required." -- You know, if you have any stock in ANY movie theaters companies, now is a good time to sell-off. This is the route that will be taken by all Movie Production Companies in the future.. When my bride and I take our 5-year old granddaughter to a children's movie, her ticket costs MORE than our Senior tickets... something is just WRONG about that.

L-E headline: "Lawsuit filed against ICE for alleged unlawful raids in Georgia" -- "alleged unlawful raids in Georgia"? Hope we see a counter-suit filed by ICE for "actual illegal entry" into our country!

Online headline: "Schumer reports fake sexual harassment charge to Capitol Polices" -- C'mon, UpChuck Schmoozer, you're the VICTIM of "fake news"? Well, if anyone should recognize "fake news", it would be you .. you've issued enough of it on the Tax Cut bill enough to be considered an expert..
---
Just looking at the Alabama results, 93% of the Democrat voters in the 2016 election showed back up, while only 50% of Republican voters returned to the Special Election. Basically, Jones didn't win, more than enough Republicans either were discouraged from or decided not to vote for Moore. Fortunately, Alabama Republicans WILL show up in 2020 and Jones will be but a blip in Senatorial history.
---
Tim Allen really nailed the Alabama Special Election... Allen said, "Glad I Don't Live In 'Bama BOTH CANDIDATES SUCKED!"
---
I'm glad the Alabama Special Election is over and Moore didn't win.. now the Columbus L-E can concentrate on verifying OR destroying former DNC Chairperson candidate and Fox contributor Jehmu Greene's allegations that Calvin Smyre sexually assaulted her.
---
Did Alabama Democrats see how quickly UpChuck Schmoozer jumped out to tell them how Doug Jones would be voting against Alabama families.... black, Latino, Asian and white... from getting tax cuts?
---
You know, about the only people in America who won't benefit from Trump"s Tax Cut bill..
are Democratic Party politicians. Voters will be reminded of the Democrat boycott of the tax cut in 2018 and 2020 elections.
---
Yesterday, Deputy AG Rosenstein says investigations only take place if evidence indicates one is needed, then tells another Congressperson that no preliminary surveillance takes place unless evidence exists. DOH! In other words.. nothing happens unless the sitting Attorney General decides he/she wants to obliterate someone... or not.
---
Deputy AG Rosenstein said during the Congressional Committee Session that it was not customary for the FBI to use video/audio recordings during interviews, nor create (verbatim) transcripts of such.. this was Comey's contention as well. Now, on what basis can the FBI produce evidence that Mike Flynn lied to the FBI? I'm always believed "he said" testimony was less than credible in determining guilt when juries are given the decision determining "doubt/reasonable doubt" . Flynn is a honored military figure.. and Mueller.. an FBI crony of Comey, Strzok, and Ohr.
---
Yesterday, I wrote a letter to the MCSB members asking why the secrecy of the options of building the wrestling outbuilding on the campus of Columbus High since the MCSD already owns the property. Shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail from the MCSD architect with an AIA (the American Institute of Architects) website and one=time use password. I went to the site, and was unsure where I was suppose to find this info I requested, so I wrote the MCSD architect back asking which AIA.org options I should "click" on and what file name I should search for... Hours later, I got this response:
"Hal,
I am not in office, but I must have mistakenly sent you something relating to our access to AIA documents. Please disregard.
Bobby"

I have to assume that someone with "power" passed on my request to the architect as he was not on the list of recipients in order for him to send it, and I pretty much must assume, that someone.. or someone "higher" rescinded the initial "OK" to send me the info.

L-E headline/story: "Columbus may get another chance to host US Olympic softball team *
USA Softball of Georgia wants Columbus to host the U.S. Olympic women’s softball team in 2020, but the city would have to invest in significant upgrades to R.G. Jones Field and other sports facilities to make it happen. * That was the message that two visiting sports experts presented to Columbus Council on Tuesday at a regular business meeting. * Don Schumacher, founder of the National Association of Sports Commissions, expressed concern over the condition of Golden Park." -- Good grief..the only reason Columbus had the 1996 Olympic Softball competition is that ATLANTA DIDN'T WANT TO FOOL WITH IT! Columbus Council wasted over $7 MILLION dollars on ruining the Columbus' Golden Park good Minor League baseball, and the stadium has increasingly deteriorated as it's set virtually unused over the past 15-plus years. Council should take a strong stand that if the US Olympic Committee wants to use our facilities, then the US Olympic Committee should spend its money in fixing Golden Park up and returning it to Columbus in baseball ready condition.
---
L-E headline: "9 attorneys apply for vacant Superior Court judgeship" -- Hmmm.. a lot of good candidates.. maybe one "qualifier question" should be asked to eliminate any decision making weaknesses of the candidates.. The question I would ask is: Do you strongly agree or disagree (at any level) with Tim Allen's statement about the Alabama Special Election.. Allen said, "Glad I Don't Live In 'Bama BOTH CANDIDATES SUCKED!"
---
One last Breakfast Club mention of the Together 2017 ads that run DAILY patting its members on the back: You know, I think the L-E should publish how much the costs of their in-kind donation of these Together 2017 ads is so we can see how much money did not make it into projects that actually could help Columbus.
---
L-E story: "Breaking with years of courting the U.S., Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called Wednesday for the United Nations to replace Washington as a Mideast mediator and suggested he might not cooperate with the Trump administration’s much-anticipated effort to hammer out an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal." -- Hmmm.. and I hope Trump issues an ultimatum to the UN that it will have to assume all its costs in NYC unless it bars participation from Palestine. In addition, all parking tickets by UN participants must be paid .. existing old ones and new ones in the future.
---
Can you imagine what Auburn football players are feeling having not only to return to the arena where UGA handed them their butts in the SEC Championship, but Auburn is basically a practice run for the REAL game to be played there the following week which could easily pit UGA against Alabama - teams Auburn beat in regular season play while each was ranked #1 during the regular season.
---
Tommy Nobis.. he very FIRST Falcon has died at age 74.. I'll bet you one thing, Nobis would NEVER have taken a knee disrespecting our flag, our military or law enforcement officers.

Now it's become reality.. "CB&T.. the bank of here" has become "Synovus... the bank of WHERE?"

Wednesday, December 13, 2017

Hey, Alabama Democrats.. Charles Barkley proved to the rest of America what he feared most... you're now "looking like idiots to the nation'.. At least the white and all Christian Alabamans who voted for Jones or just against Moore do...Doug Jones' victory speech pretty much said it all:
"It's those volunteers to make sure that we knew, it was every community. You know, I keep hearing about the different communities in this state. The African-American community, thank you. My friends -- my friends in the Latino community, thank you. To all my Jewish friends, happy Hanukkah. We have built this everywhere we have gone. We have had that same energy. We've had that same excitement."

It's not who he thanked (African-Americans, Latinos, Jewish friends), but who he didn't thank... God, whites, or Christians.. One question for those he thanked.. what has any Democrat done for you or your "group" that hasn't repressed your individual growth? Truth be told, the Democrats haven't done anything helpful for those Jones didn't thank, either.
---
Last week, in a slow to make it to mainscream media airwaves report, former President Obama told the Economic Club of Chicago that “things can fall apart fairly quickly” if Americans don’t “tend to this garden of democracy.” * During the speech Tuesday, Obama pointed to Hitler’s rise to power in Germany as he implored the audience to “pay attention … and vote.” -- Good grief.. It's Obama, like Hitler and the DNC, who wants the government to control our lives.. beginning with confiscation of all guns from the citizenry.. That's how Hitler gained power! Trump, on the other hand, wants to re-empower American citizens to gain the freedoms so hard fought for by our Founding Fathers.. and making sure law abiding American citizens do not have their rights taken away by government
---
The terrorist suicide bomber in NYC "wore" a homemade bomb. Fortunately, no one was killed... let's pray the terrorist who survived, like that airplane terrorist a few years ago, also was wearing an underwear bomb.
---
A terrorist attack in NYC..and Mayor de Bl(_@_)io came out and asked the citizenry to be alert and report any non-normal incidents on the streets to the police. Good grief, one of the first things de Bl(_@_)io did after taking office was to order the NYPD to stop the "stop and frisk" policy when they observed anomalies on the streets.
---
Good grief..New York officials..including the Governor and NYC Mayor are pushing for NYC citizens to participate in a terrorism watch program, "see something, say something". Hmmm.. sounds a lot like "profiling" which liberals usually disdain, but if you look closely back in history, since Obama has brought it up again, it sounds like the Nazi Youth directive to report seeing anyone doing something contrary to Hitler's directives.
---
CAIR. - Council on American-Islamic Relations is irate at how the family of the NYC terrorist are being questioned/treated.. You know, if CAIR really "cared" about American-Islamic relations, CAIR would show "care" about improving how America perceives Islamic Americans and be SUPPORTIVE of any Islamic terrorist investigations.
---
You know, I do not know which NFL teams are leading their divisions at this point, and don't really care..
---
From the "is it the fact San Francisco is a 'sanctuary city' or because it's the home of Pelosi and Feinstein" department - Online headline/story:"Illegal immigrant found guilty in murder of family of five in San Francisco * An illegal immigrant from Vietnam faces life in prison after being convicted Monday in the 2012 hammer-killing of a family of five after losing money at a casino earlier in the evening." this illegal probably had a bad lawyer and will appeal his verdict on the basis of "inadequate legal defense".. Following the Kate Steinle "jury fail", why didn't this illegal alien murderer's lawyer go with the "he found the hammer and it just went off by itself" defense?
---
From the "bias, what bias?" department - Online story: "A senior Justice Department official demoted last week for concealing his meetings with the men behind the anti-Trump “dossier” had even closer ties to Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for the incendiary document, than have been disclosed, Fox News has confirmed: The official’s wife worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 election." -- Hey.. we're NOT talking about Strzok this time.. this is ANOTHER one.. Bruce Ohr..How can even mainscream media accept Mueller as competent if he did not even vet his choices in staff?
---
From the "Charles Barkley.. now is a better time to talk about the nation thinking there are idiots living here" department - L-E headline/story: "GOVERNMENT CENTER * Mayor’s panel advises complex’s demolition * In a survey taken by 27 of the commission members, about 54 percent voted in favor of Option 3, 36 percent in favor of Option 2 and about 11 percent in favor of Option 1. * The estimated $124,147,320 cost would be funded through a sales tax voters would be asked to approve after a Muscogee County School District tax for special projects expires in 2020. That would maintain the county’s overall sales tax rate at 8 percent." -- First, what a collection of chaos and misinformation! When did the "Commission" GROW to 27 from the 23 authorized in the January 15 issue of the L-E - guess she had to add 4 more to get enough votes for what she wanted, ( http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/local/article128693564.html ) (and at that time I noted that 15 of those 23 had financial conflict of interest with the mayor/city), and the commission still could only muster up a minimum majority to "recommend" Mayor Tom-LYING-son's desire. and secondly, where does the Mayor get away with projecting that a sales in tax addition will keep our sales taxes at an-already-regressive-level, when the MCSD will be proposing another SPLOST as soon as the current one ends..which will raise our sales tax burden to 9%.. and send more shoppers online or to other counties/states to shop
---
From the "surely, there's a limit to LIV stupidity" department - LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Fires are burning down California. Money should have been used on climate change instead of spending billions locking up innocent immigrants. How do you explain destroying God’s earth, while chaining and taking his poorest people?" -- I say "surely there's a limit to LIV stupidity, but I am wrong.. California's laws prohibiting old growth harvesting and ground debris maintenance in forests are the issues of the constant outbursts of fires in California.. Of course, the Democratic Party leadership is responsible for the stupidity of it's voting base..

There's one aspect of sexual accusations that mainscream media does not address before it starts tearing into the targets of such.. which much makes the "targets" just as much the "victims" as the accusers claim to be. Online headline: "Key Republican senator wavering on tax reform bill" -- Good grief.. his is about Susan Collins of Maine, and the closest she is to being a Republican is her assigned seat in the Senate is on the right side of the aisle. And the only reason mains cream media calls her a "KEY" Republican is because she will vote with Democrats on issues.

---
Whether it was the tax cuts signed in by John F. Kennedy or Ronald Reagan, our economy.. and federal tax revenues SOAR when meaningful tax cuts are made. Why would anyone not want to sign the Trump proposed tax cuts?

---
The Senate should invoke immediate suspension of Al Franken's voting rights.. he has publicly resigned, and should not be allowed to decide when he leaves office/power. Besides, what will/can the Senate do if in two weeks, after the furor has died down, he decides not to resign?

---
Online story: "In an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, Shelby explained that he did not vote for Moore and instead voted for an unnamed Republican write-in, " -- Richard Shelby should have to resign! Who needs a Senator who does not know his own states laws that say no vote for an unqualified write-in candidate counts as a vote. I'd have a modicum of respect for him if he lust said he wasn't voting at all. Either way, Shelby has let down his constituents by voting against US interests they support.

---
The Democrat campaign in Alabama has become all... no, ONLY about defeating Moore.. not about electing the Democrat.. this is another reason Alabamans should remember Richard Shelby's treasonous vote and call for a "recall" election.

Delta has announced that if you buy an economy class ticket to Europe/North Africa, you will no longer get even 1 free piece of luggage at check in.. beginning next April 10th, you will have to pay $60.00 for the 1st piece and $100.00 for a second. Wait! There may be a way to back Delta down on this.. we can claim it will keep Muslims who's Visa expires from being able to afford to go back to home to North Africa which will be religious persecution.. "Yeah", as Jon Lovitz might quip, "that's the ticket."

---
While I didn't watch it.. (because I am not watching any NFL games/programs), I did see a short clip on the snow at the game in Buffalo. I can seriously say. I haven't seen that much "snow" on my TV since we had "rabbit ear antenna".

---
From the "depends on, as Slick Willie might say, how you define 'luckily' " department - Online headline/story: "Hot magma is rising underneath New England * Scientists now believe there’s hundreds of miles of Magma rising underneath New England. * Over the past two years, scientists at both the University of Rutgers and Yale have detected swelling magma underneath central Vermont, western Massachusetts and western New Hampshire. * Luckily, scientists believe any major eruption is millions of years away." -- Hmmm.. maybe its caused by Climate Change" from all the hot air spewed by liberals saying man is totally responsible for "Climate Change"..

---
From the "well, there is one thing, for sure, that Putin and Trump agree on: department - Online headline/story: "Putin announces Syria withdrawal, says ISIS destroyed * Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday ordered his country's forces to begin withdrawing from Syria, saying the country's two-year campaign to destroy ISIS is complete." -- Hmmm... and it's not that Trump and Putin agree on the end of ISIS... what they obviously agree on was that Obama did a horrible job as President in stopping the rise and growth of ISIS..

---
From the "how about the WHOLE truth" department - Online headline/story: "3 people arrested in firebomb attack on Swedish synagogue * Three people have been arrested for allegedly throwing firebombs at a synagogue in the Swedish city of Goteborg * The attack took place after some 200 people rallied late Friday in the southern city of Malmo, yelling anti-Jewish slogans and waving Palestinian flags to protest U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital * (Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven) urged "all democratic forces" in Sweden to work together to create "a tolerant and open society where everyone feels safe." * The American Jewish Committee, meanwhile, condemned a separate protest Friday in Berlin, during which American and Israeli flags were burned in front of the U.S. embassy." -- First, "Swedish synagogue"? I didn't being Swedish was a religion.. especially one detested.. disdained.. by the Muslims.. Secondly, "create "a tolerant and open society where everyone feels safe."? I do believe that threshold has been breached and trampled on. as it has been in all European countries as well.

---
Online headline: "Winter snowstorm continues to snarl travel in Northeast" -- Don't you hate it when New England liberals plaintiff pleas of Global Warming/Climate Change are challenged by Mother Nature? Me, neither..

---
From the "talk about unbridled bias.. and stupidity in journalism" department - Online headline: "Palestinians to snub Pence during visit over Jerusalem move * Thomson Reuters * BY MOHAMED ABDELLAH AND NIDAL AL-MUGHRABI" -- Good grief... who'd expect anything less from 2 Muslim journalists in Egypt writing about a Christian American politician traveling to the Mid-East following President Trump's declaration to re-establish Jerusalem at the capital of Israel?

---
From the "we just aren't going to let go of our pain" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Poll: Melania Trump sees approval increase, but she's not quite as popular as Michelle Obama * Fifty-three percent of those polled said they had at least a somewhat favorable view of the first lady, which is an 8 percent increase from those who felt the same shortly after the 2016 presidential election. Thirty-six percent of participants answered that they held an unfavorable view of Trump and 11 percent were listed undecided. * (Melania)Trump's performance is relatively similar to that of predecessor Michelle Obama during her final year as first lady." -- Melania grew 8% more in favorability over the first 11 months is Awesome.. mainly because the increase had to come from won-over Hellary supporters.. yet mainscream media just can't say something nice about that... and comparing her figures to the 8 years Mrs Obama had an opportunity to win 100% favorability if she tried is typical liberal bias.

I notice the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer cannot get enough of the political sexual harassment stories, but has stuck a sock in the mouth of its reporters from talking about highly visible Democratic TV spinmeister (and one of Time Magazines's Cover subjects) Jehmu Greene's speaking out about local Democratic Representative Calvin Smyre.. of course, maybe the L-E believes of all the women speaking out, only Jehmu Greene's is unbelievable..

---
There's a NCRR Committee survey out wanting people to vote for "The WORST Democrat"... the usual suspects have check boxes (Warren, Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, and one for "Other".. I didn't vote.. there wasn't an option for "All of the Above".

---
Over the weekend, there was a "grapplers' tournament" (that's another term for wrestlin' or rasslin' depending on your degree of interest) held in a local high school gym.. Of note was several high schools packed up their wrestling mats and lugged them all over to the tournament site. Hmmm.. seems like it wasn't too much trouble for the schools to do this, so why do we taxpayers have to pay for six $750,000.00 (at $312.00 a square ft) metal-on-slab outbuildings be built for them to practice? Seems like rolling up the mats when finished and rolling them out in their own gyms is an "OK" option.. In fact.. doing so gives the coaches an extra way to condition and strengthen their wrestlers..and build character and perseverance.

L-E headline/story: "COVENANT FOSTER CARE COALITION * Columbus churches consider disbanding support effort * Now, more than a year later, the coalition is still in the same spot that it was 12 months ago, trying to identify its purpose and decide how thousands of dollars raised for the initiative should be spent. * “There were a lot of questions at first about what it was supposed to look like and what really could be done because we were not interested in becoming a placement agency like Faith-Bridge,” Smith said. “It was more to provide support to (the Department of Family and Children Services), and also just raise awareness in churches and get churches to be a part of the work being done.” * However, since that time, there have been at least two other organizations that have stepped up to address the issue, Smith said. They are Clement Arts, a nonprofit based in Fortson, and Bethany Christian Services, a nonprofit agency based in Grand Rapids, Mich." -- Obviously, the money should be returned to the churches and/or churches who's member's donated directly (or to the direct donors' choice 501-(c)-3) to be sent to organizations of their choice.

---
From the "Hey, Jewish Community, do you really know what Democrats actually feel about you" department LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Wonder how much “Sheldon Adelson, the Las Vegas casino magnate” contributed to Trump’s campaign to convince that idiot to inflame the Middle East with his latest stupid move?" -- Everyone of the Jewish faith should remember this the next time they have a choice between a Democrat and a Republican representative.

---
From a L-E article: Yesterday, In 1964, Martin Luther King Jr. received his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, saying he accepted it “with an abiding faith in America and an audacious faith in the future of mankind.” -- And on the Day before yesterday this year, John Lewis destroyed all that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. worked for by not participating in the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum along with President Trump.

L-E story: "A state agency’s analysts say a multibilliondollar nuclear project in east Georgia should be canceled. * Analysts assigned by the Georgia Public Service Commission to evaluate progress at plant Vogtle near Augusta say the project should be scrapped as Georgia Power failed to manage it in a “reasonable manner,” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. * “Completion of the project is no longer economic given the additional costs and schedule delays,” the analysts said in written testimony to commissioners. * The analysts recommend that a reasonable total project cost be set at $8.3 billion – $3.9 billion less than what Georgia Power estimates for completion.
* Georgia Power CEO Paul Bowers has told commissioners that completing the project presented the best economic option for customers." -- WHOA! Since when does the GA Power Company have the say-so to determine what is in the best interests of their "customers".. especially when we "customers" are already being charged for what GA Power is building.. and now, if the project finishes, we "customers" will obviously get hit with another higher fee/charge to pay for GA Power Company's inefficiency. In my opinion, the PSC should order the GA Power project to stop, and that GA Power refund every penny it has pre-charged us "customers" for this.
---
HuffPOOPOO "headLIE"/story: "Star U.S. Diplomat Quits With Fiery Letter To Rex Tillerson * A distinguished U.S. diplomat who was seen as a rising star at the State Department resigned after writing a searing letter to Secretary Of State Rex Tillerson, accusing him of gutting the department and damaging America’s standing across the world." -- Good grief.. a "star" diplomat is not one assigned to Nigeria/Somalia..

---
LYING LIV's L-E "soundoff": "My party's leaders are backing and funding a reliably accused child molester. Why?" -- Obviously, this "soundoffer" is not a member of the Republican Party.. nor an independent.. If he/she was, then he/she would understand it's not about electing Moore (he can be dealt with if allegations are proven), but about the difference in having a Democrat voting for Alabama's and the US's best interests.

We have SNOW.. right here in Columbus, GA this morning... oooops.. we]ll we HAD snow.. maybe 10-15 minutes worth..
---
The Congressional Committee is not trying to undermine Christopher Wray...it's giving Wray an opportunity to reassure America's citizens that they can sleep at night knowing the FBI is on alert for all America's enemies.... foreign..domestic.. and political parties.
---
Online headline/story: "Ex-Breitbart spokesman Kurt Bardella leaves Republican party over its support of Roy Moore * “President Trump and the Republican National Committee are endorsing, supporting and funding Moore because they would rather elect a sexual predator who preys on underage teenagers at the local mall, than a crime-fighting prosecutor who happens to be a Democrat,” Bardella wrote in an op-ed for USA Today. * “I believe the Democratic Party will do more to protect the freedoms guaranteed to us in the First Amendment than the Republican Party ever could.” * “This is a party that constantly buries its head in the sand on climate change, racial profiling, guns, LGBTQ equality, income inequality, food insecurity, paid family leave and the treatment of women.” -- First, Trump endorses "the vote" of a Republican Senator versus "the joke" of a Democrat one.. besides, America's future is better even if some have their heads "buried in the sand" than having others with their heads "buried up a jackASS".
---
Online headline: "Seth Rogen cancels SiriusXM interview in protest of company's 'support' of Steve Bannon" -- Good grief.. who wants to hear someone who's most original thoughts expressed were some he "parrots" reading other people's scripts?
---
Here's a question to ask the Councilors who are running for re-election here in Columbus in May of 2018.. The last time the River Road/Bradley Park Drive/Cascade/Green Island roundabout was discussed with the public was in February of 2016. At that time.. before any additional "tweaks" were made, the projected costs were $2,700.000.00 ($1.5 Million from the state taxes, and $1.2 Million from Columbus taxpayers). What are: 1 - new design, 2 - actual construction start and finish dates, and 3 - the new cost projections?
---
John Lewis, D-GA, just undid his legacy as a leader of the Civil Rights movement of the 60s when he indicated he will not get on the same stage with President Trump to dedicate a Civil Rights museum in Mississippi. What a missed opportunity for him...and America.
---
You know. No business would allow an employee to announce his/her resignation from a job because of some personal issue and let the re-signer pick when he/she would actually leave.. current political incidences are not "retirements"..they are resignations, and we taxpayers need to know our best interests are a priority by the rest of the elected officials.
---
Where is the mainscream media/DNC/Voters outrage that Representative John Conyers, resigning D-MI, has a Cadillac Escalade paid for his use in his hometown by either his campaign donations or taxpayer funded office budget? Where is their outrage that his son had use privileges of that vehicle? Where is their outrage that Conyers used tax funds as "hush money" for his sexual assaults?
---
Trump should call the Democrats hand...they vote to repeal ObamaCRAP AND the WALL and he'll think about signing a continuing resolution that pays ONLY existing government employees, and needed government office expenses.
---
228,000 new non-farm jobs in November! That's what Trump has brought to plate to Make America Great Again!
---
Trump said last night that black home ownership is at its HIGHEST level in history! This is what real leadership does to individuals' and businesses' CONFIDENCE in government!

Online story: "Georgia officials have picked 11 schools they’d like to “turn around,” meaning they want to help them improve academically. All of them are in Middle or South Georgia. Schools in Bibb, Clay, Dooly, Dougherty and Randolph counties made the list." -- Guess the MCSD is relieved that 12 were not picked..

Online story: "The state Department of Natural Resources board decided to continue down a path of changing Georgia’s water quality rule in a way environmentalists say is a giveaway to one company and weakens protections statewide. * Wednesday, the DNR board voted to approve opening up the rule making process, with the proposed change adding the word “unreasonably” and replacing the word “legitimate” with the word “designated.” The new rule would read, “All waters shall be free from material related to municipal, industrial or other discharges which produce turbidity, color, odor or other objectionable conditions which unreasonably interfere with the designated use of the water body.” --- Hmmm... maybe we can get the the "slogan" company that sold Columbus an "amazing' slogan for $97,000.00 to reword the DNR's "mission statement"... I will give them the first example: "“All politicians shall be free from donations related to municipal, industrial or other sources which produce turbidity, color, odor or other objectionable conditions which undoubtedly interfere with the decision making objectivity of the politicians.”

http://thebrunswicknews.com/news/local_news/dnr-board-moves-forward-on-water-quality-change/article_145f306c-46e2-5989-bd22-5ff059303097.html

From the "whack-a-mole" department - Online story: "On Friday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Mueller investigator Andrew Weissmann, a former partner at WilmerHale, attended Hillary Clinton’s election night party last November at the Javits Center in New York City. Fox News reported earlier this week that Weissmann in January also praised outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates, after she was fired for refusing to defend President Trump’s travel ban. * Aaron Zebley, another former partner at WilmerHale and a former chief of staff to Mueller when he served as FBI director, represented Justin Cooper, a key figure in the Hillary Clinton email controversy. * Cooper is the longtime Bill Clinton aide responsible for helping set up the now-infamous private email server. * Cooper later admitted to “two instances where he destroyed [Hillary] Clinton’s old mobile devices by breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer.” * Jeannie Rhee, another former partner at WilmerHale, represented ex-Obama National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, the Clinton Foundation in a 2015 racketeering case, and Hillary Clinton herself in a lawsuit seeking access to her private emails. * Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., a member of the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News on Friday. “Many of the members of Mueller’s team donated to the Clinton campaign. We have a lot of highly qualified federal prosecutors in the Justice Department and we could have found a bunch of them who didn’t donate to either candidate. But that didn’t occur, and that’s troubling.” -- Yes.. it's troubling that political connections were not part of the vetting process in selecting a proper investigative team, but even MORE Disturbing is that Justin Cooper was not prosecuted for obstruction of justice for destroying evidence by smashing Hellary's electronic devices and disbarred for the ABA and Legal system altogether
---
From the "then there's INTENTIONAL 'fake News' " department - Online headline/story: "CNN botches dates, inaccurately reports Trump campaign had WikiLeaks sneak peek * CNN’s date gaffe means that the email could have been from anyone, and its sender was merely pointing Trump Jr. to emails already available online. * CNN’s latest anti-Trump “exclusive” came crashing down on Friday, when the Washington Post debunked the network's report claiming the Trump campaign had early, secret access to hacked DNC emails from WikiLeaks. * CNN eventually issued a correction: “CNN's initial reporting of the date on an email sent to members of the Trump campaign about Wikileaks documents, which was confirmed by two sources to CNN, was incorrect. We have updated our story to include the correct date, and present the proper context for the timing of email." * No disciplinary action will be taken in the matter, a CNN official said in a tweet" -- Hmmm .. the "fake news" charges have come full circle.. even CNN admits it pushes "fake news" and isn't going to relieve any of it's staff to insure accuracy in the future.
---
It's time for Sen Rand Paul to "give it up".. I have relegated his e-mails to my "SPAM filter" and am hoping such self-gratification drivel will soon be stopped.
-----------------------------------
Do I like Roy Moore?.. Not particularly... and not based on what's being circulated during this campaign... I don't believe Trump does either, but what's missing in the discussions is that Roy Moore is a "public figure", and as a "public figure", is subject to random.. even politically pointed accusations that he cannot defend himself as none of the accusations are sworn under oath, and even then Moore has the responsibility to PROVE that the accuser and media sources are doing so with "absence of malice".. Trump doesn't endorse Moore personally; Trump wants a Republican Senate vote rather than a Democrat Senate vote.. (Well, truthfully, Trump would rather have 100 Senators voting for what;s best for America rather than what the political party manta is). Now, if Moore gets elected, then then the accusations become "truth" and the Senate or Court findings remove him from office, the Republican Governor of Alabama will appoint a Republican replacement until another proper election can be scheduled.. BUT.. believing Doug Jones statements that he will vote on issues any way but how Schumer tells him perpetuates the socialistic Democratic Party agenda.

L-E headline/story: "UPTOWN MARKET DAYS * RiverCenter wants market off Broadway median * An ongoing disagreement between two Columbus nonprofit organizations over the use of the city-owned median in the 900 block of Broadway has spilled over into the city manager’s office for resolution. * RiverCenter for Performing Arts Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Norman Easterbrook has been pushing to restrict the access of Uptown Market Days in front of his facility." -- Good grief.. what egos! Two non-profit entities squabbling over "turf" that neither owns..at at Christmas time at that.
---
There's a billboard on Veterans Parkway advertising a "special". Unfortunately, it's a "special" on cremation... wonder how many "sales" will be made by drivers being distracted trying to read the details of the billboard?
---
Arizona Congressman Trent Franks did the only thing he could do by resigning immediately after his staffer member related Frank's proposal to her.. What I want to know is why she stayed around for "at least" 4 of these proposals rather slapping him, calling his wife, then walking away after the first one?
---
L-E headline: "Pope Francis ponders an update to Lord’s Prayer" -- Good grief.. now POOP Francis believes he is above Jesus in rankings!
Talk about timing.. the L-E ran this quote today as well as POOP Francis' story: ""AUTHORITY POISONS EVERYBODY WHO TAKES AUTHORITY ON HIMSELF. Golda Meir, Israeli political leader (1898-1978)"

Hmmm... do you ever wonder what Harvey Weinstein "feels" about his world caving in while Roman Polanski and Woody Allen continue to exist?
---
For a man claiming to respect the office of the Senate, Franken surely failed in his resignation to show remorse or humbleness, and passed as much blame for his actions on the administration that just took office. Where was his concern during the previous 8 years when Obama was in office?
---
You know, if Franken says he will resign, how can his fellow Senators allow him to continue to serve until he's ready in a a few weeks? And I'm talking about his fellow Democrat Senators.. he could vote against the DNC "official stance" on a vital issue, and the Republican Senators, as well as the litigants' attorneys should be concerned about any evidence "cleansing" he might do with his files and hard drives?
---
Franken is such a phony... in his first campaign, Franken's wife made an impassioned testimony on how her husband stood her side as she battled the destructive effect of alcohol dependency...wanna bet he didn't want her beside him as he groped other women?
---
Al Franken's party coerced resignation is basically a last ditch effort to get Doug Jones elected in Alabama.. The Dems know Franken's replacement will be another Democrat and if you caught his resignation speech faux pas. "she"..as he said, is already picked out.
---
So Franken has joined Conyers in being designated as the sacrificial "lambs" to hide the many Democrat abuses on women's issues. Wonder if Alec Baldwin will don a gray wig and become the skit icon on Saturday Night Live.
---
From the "only California would think about this" department: "Wildfires blazing through Southern California are worrying marijuana growers, who fear that smoke could damage their crops, the basis of a newly legalized industry in the state. * For the cannabis industry, recovering like the rest of the state from devastating fires two months ago that killed 44 people and ravaged scores of pot farms north of San Francisco's Bay area, the new wave of wildfires comes at a challenging time." -- Hmmm... people's homes/lives have been engulfed in flames, and politicians are worried about tax revenue losses from a vice industry...
---
Listening to Democrats asking FBI Director Wray questions that are aimed at trying to protect known Democrat supporters rather than get to the truth make me sick. Sheila Jackson Lee is the worst...She actually read the "mission statement " of the FBI to Director Wray and asked him if he followed such. I remember specifically that she did not read that statement to Director Comey or previous Director Mueller, much less ask if they followed such themselves.
---
I was really disappointed in FBI Director Christopher Wray's first day in the House Committee session.. he had a chance to show America that we can depend on the FBI to be diligent in protecting us from political abuses but refused to disclose names on a FISA/FISC application requested by Representative Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, even though the Committee Chair said such disclosure was not banned from public Committee hearings. Wray may have thought he was protecting "protocol", but what he protected was whether or not the FBI agent was representing the Democratic Party interests or the interests of the American citizens. Bad choice, Director Wray.
---
From the "let's pretend we are God" department - Online story: " A change could be coming to birth certificates in the state of Washington. * Next year, a third option may be available beyond just ‘male’ or ‘female.’ The third option would be gender ‘X’." -- God gave us all "free will" so we could determine our choices we make.. since when did God give other people.. even parents and health industry workers, the power to make such a decision for one of His creations?
---
From the "maybe he might rethink his position on US Constitution Amendments 1 and 2... and 5 and 6" department - Online story: "DOUALA, Cameroon – An advocacy group says a Cameroonian-American writer who criticized the government over months of Anglophone protests has been detained in the Central African nation. * Patrice Nganang had written an article for Jeune Afrique in which he was critical of how Cameroon has handled a sometimes violent secessionist movement in some English-speaking areas. * Nganang went missing from the airport in Douala on Thursday. He is a dual U.S. citizen and a professor at Stony Brook University in New York." -- I probably should look into his writings about our Constitutions, but my gut instincts tell me this writer's works decry the freedoms that are protected by our Constitution as compared to the freedoms in 3rd world countries.
---
There has been called an emergency UN Security Council meeting for today to discuss the US moving its Israel Embassy to Jerusalem. The UN is concerned about potential conflicts this might make.. seriously? There hasn't been "no conflict " there in 1100 years!
---
From the "NBC has really "stepped in it" department - Online headline/story: "NBC says Olympic host Mike Tirico’s sexual harassment at ESPN is old news * All of the allegations against Tirico came when he was employed at ESPN, but it appears NBC is willing to look the other way despite an ongoing change in culture across the media landscape that has resulted in many high-profile dismissals for similar misconduct.
* “When we hired Mike in 2016, we were aware of the incidents from more than 25 years ago, which had been addressed in 1991-92 by ESPN, his employer at the time, and for which he has apologized," an NBC spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter" -- Whoa! What difference does knowing about Tirico's past make when he was hired, than knowing about Lauer's history when his contracts were renewed.. I tell you what.. I believe NBC has established Matt Lauer.. and any NBC women employees, grounds to sue on discrimination reasons.
---
From the "Philadelphia needs another slogan" department -- Online headlines from yesterday: "Seth Williams, Philadelphia's first black DA, begins 5-year term after bribery conviction". "3 teens charged as adults in deadly beating of homeless man in Philadelphia", "Sixteen-year-old arrested in shooting deaths of 2 Philadelphia teens", and "Outrage as Philly pushes through ban on bulletproof glass in crime-plagued neighborhood shops" -- I do believe Philadelphia has worn out its "City of Brotherly Love" slogan.. maybe Philadelphia can buy on of the rejects from Columbus' search for a mew one... I suggest, "Philadelphia.. Enter At Your Own Risk".
---
The one Philadelphia headline story I want to discuss in detail is the last one above: "Outrage as Philly pushes through ban on bulletproof glass in crime-plagued neighborhood shops * Philadelphia is one step closer to getting rid of bulletproof glass in many of its small businesses as part of a larger effort to crack down on loitering, public urination and potential drug sales -- but the potential ban has triggered a backlash from shopkeepers. * “No establishment required to obtain a Large Establishment license … shall erect or maintain a physical barrier that requires the persons serving the food either to open a window or other aperture or to pass the food through a window or other aperture, in order to hand the food to a customer inside the establishment,” the bill states. * Several of the hundreds of deli owners told FOX29 they feel as though they are being singled out, and numerous shopkeepers are among those protesting the bill. * “If the glass comes down, the crime rate will rise and there will be lots of dead bodies,” Rich Kim, the owner of Broad Deli, which sells soda, meals and beer by the can, said. “The most important thing is safety and the public’s safety.” -- Good grief.. The Philadelphia Health Department pretty much has said it doesn't support the health of business owners or their employees! And wait until greedy lawyer files a class action suit and gets "drive thru" windows declared as part of the insides of fast food restaurants..
---
Fox News online headline/story: "Border Patrol agent's mysterious death was no accident, union chief says * Culberson County Sheriff Oscar Carillo said the two agents could have sustained their injuries -- which included broken bones -- when a tractor trailer’s mirror sideswiped the agents and pushed them into the culvert, which was about 8 feet 8 inches high, the Dallas Morning News reported. Carillo added there had been several accidents reported on Interstate 10." -- The Sheriff that suggested this scenario needs to be investigated for his political leanings toward illegal aliens and.. whether anyone i his circles of friends and family may not be legal American citizens..but what should evident is whether the killing blow matched up with a side mounted truck mirror, and whether either agent was tall enough to "get hit'.
---
From the "red herring" department - Online headline/story: "Atlanta tech companies worry that tax bill undermines research * A combination of clauses in the bill passed by the Senate virtually eliminate much of the current tax incentives for research." --- Good grief.. the "incentive" for research should be the search and belief in and for a better product, not whether a company can use "research" as a "catch-all" for wasting time and money from a multitude of bad choices.
---
From the "why is this man still involved in the future of America" and the "Hey, John Lewis, what specifically has President Trump done to YOU" department - Online headline/story: "John Lewis re-evaluates civil rights museum visit after Donald Trump’s RSVP * U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Atlanta, said he will re-evaluate his plans to speak at the ribbon-cutting of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum this weekend amid reports that he would be sharing a stage with President Donald Trump. * “It’s going to be very difficult for me to be there and be on the same platform with him,” the civil rights leader and 30-year congressman said of the president in an interview Wednesday." -- It's horrid thinking like this that is derailing the future of America.. when elected leaders cannot.... more like.. WILL NOT.. focus on the future because they are anchored in the past is a major reason of hatred and racism that permeate our society. I'll trade John Lewis for John Conyers and Al Franken in order to move on and make America Great Again. One question, John Lewis, what has Trump ever done to YOU!
---
Online headline/story: "A rough round of runoffs for LGBT candidates * A trio of LGBT candidates was defeated in a round of Tuesday runoff elections that reshaped metro Atlanta’s political landscape." -- You know.. there's a new atmosphere in politics since the "politically correct" atmosphere as been exposed as folly.. Voters are now more at ease in for for the "Substance" of a candidate rather than the "Style" of a candidates politics/beliefs.. America will be GREAT Again!
---
Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "You can’t hum while holding your nose closed." -- Hmmm.. and I'll bet a dollar you tried to do it before reading my bet.
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "If you Google search “askew” the content will tilt slightly to the right. (Try it.)"
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "The most common Zodiac signs of prolific serial killers are Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius." -- Hmmm.. good dinner conversation starter...
---
Instant repeat - Fact just wandered upon randomly in the L-E: "For every human on Earth there are approximately 1.6 million ants. The total weight of all those ants is approximately the same as the total weight of all the humans on Earth." -- Talk about feeling insignificant in the scheme of God's world...on the other hand, God probably thinks were are the most special, but need lots of help in keeping the His world clean.
---
From the "only in the minds of politicians" department - L-E story: "Columbus Council has approved plans to extend Tyler Technologies’ contract with the city in order to avoid problems with the 2018 tax digest. * The additional services addendum passed with a 6-4 vote Tuesday, one week after a Nov. 28 council meeting, during which four councilors voted against the proposal. * Those voting in favor at Tuesday’s meeting were Skip Henderson, Evelyn “Mimi” Woodson, Jerry “Pops” Barnes, Mike Baker, Gary Allen and Mayor Pro Tem Evelyn Turner-Pugh. Those opposed were Bruce Huff, Glenn Davis, Judy Thomas and Walker Garrett." -- "to avoid problems with the 2018 tax digest"? Since when is the problem causer consider the problem solution? As I understand it, we have 25 +/- employees in the Tax Office.. 3,600 parcels divide by 25 is 144 each.. that's 12 per month.. 3 per 40 hour week.. what else have those employees got to do? Unfortunately, it looks like we still have 6 Councilors still gulping down Mayor Tom-LYING-son's Kool-Aid.... and 3 who have opened their eyes, and 1, Councilor Huff, who has kept his eyes open through all of this. Bruce! We need ya.. Get in the Mayor's race.. PLEASE!
