We have SNOW.. right here in Columbus, GA this morning... oooops.. we]ll we HAD snow.. maybe 10-15 minutes worth..
---
The Congressional Committee is not trying to undermine Christopher Wray...it's giving Wray an opportunity to reassure America's citizens that they can sleep at night knowing the FBI is on alert for all America's enemies.... foreign..domestic.. and political parties.

Online headline/story: "Ex-Breitbart spokesman Kurt Bardella leaves Republican party over its support of Roy Moore * “President Trump and the Republican National Committee are endorsing, supporting and funding Moore because they would rather elect a sexual predator who preys on underage teenagers at the local mall, than a crime-fighting prosecutor who happens to be a Democrat,” Bardella wrote in an op-ed for USA Today. * “I believe the Democratic Party will do more to protect the freedoms guaranteed to us in the First Amendment than the Republican Party ever could.” * “This is a party that constantly buries its head in the sand on climate change, racial profiling, guns, LGBTQ equality, income inequality, food insecurity, paid family leave and the treatment of women.” -- First, Trump endorses "the vote" of a Republican Senator versus "the joke" of a Democrat one.. besides, America's future is better even if some have their heads "buried in the sand" than having others with their heads "buried up a jackASS".

Online headline: "Seth Rogen cancels SiriusXM interview in protest of company's 'support' of Steve Bannon" -- Good grief.. who wants to hear someone who's most original thoughts expressed were some he "parrots" reading other people's scripts?
---
Here's a question to ask the Councilors who are running for re-election here in Columbus in May of 2018.. The last time the River Road/Bradley Park Drive/Cascade/Green Island roundabout was discussed with the public was in February of 2016. At that time.. before any additional "tweaks" were made, the projected costs were $2,700.000.00 ($1.5 Million from the state taxes, and $1.2 Million from Columbus taxpayers). What are: 1 - new design, 2 - actual construction start and finish dates, and 3 - the new cost projections?
---
John Lewis, D-GA, just undid his legacy as a leader of the Civil Rights movement of the 60s when he indicated he will not get on the same stage with President Trump to dedicate a Civil Rights museum in Mississippi. What a missed opportunity for him...and America.
---
You know. No business would allow an employee to announce his/her resignation from a job because of some personal issue and let the re-signer pick when he/she would actually leave.. current political incidences are not "retirements"..they are resignations, and we taxpayers need to know our best interests are a priority by the rest of the elected officials.
---
Where is the mainscream media/DNC/Voters outrage that Representative John Conyers, resigning D-MI, has a Cadillac Escalade paid for his use in his hometown by either his campaign donations or taxpayer funded office budget? Where is their outrage that his son had use privileges of that vehicle? Where is their outrage that Conyers used tax funds as "hush money" for his sexual assaults?
---
Trump should call the Democrats hand...they vote to repeal ObamaCRAP AND the WALL and he'll think about signing a continuing resolution that pays ONLY existing government employees, and needed government office expenses.
---
228,000 new non-farm jobs in November! That's what Trump has brought to plate to Make America Great Again!
---
Trump said last night that black home ownership is at its HIGHEST level in history! This is what real leadership does to individuals' and businesses' CONFIDENCE in government!

Online story: "Georgia officials have picked 11 schools they’d like to “turn around,” meaning they want to help them improve academically. All of them are in Middle or South Georgia. Schools in Bibb, Clay, Dooly, Dougherty and Randolph counties made the list." -- Guess the MCSD is relieved that 12 were not picked..

Online story: "The state Department of Natural Resources board decided to continue down a path of changing Georgia’s water quality rule in a way environmentalists say is a giveaway to one company and weakens protections statewide. * Wednesday, the DNR board voted to approve opening up the rule making process, with the proposed change adding the word “unreasonably” and replacing the word “legitimate” with the word “designated.” The new rule would read, “All waters shall be free from material related to municipal, industrial or other discharges which produce turbidity, color, odor or other objectionable conditions which unreasonably interfere with the designated use of the water body.” --- Hmmm... maybe we can get the the "slogan" company that sold Columbus an "amazing' slogan for $97,000.00 to reword the DNR's "mission statement"... I will give them the first example: "“All politicians shall be free from donations related to municipal, industrial or other sources which produce turbidity, color, odor or other objectionable conditions which undoubtedly interfere with the decision making objectivity of the politicians.”

From the "whack-a-mole" department - Online story: "On Friday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Mueller investigator Andrew Weissmann, a former partner at WilmerHale, attended Hillary Clinton’s election night party last November at the Javits Center in New York City. Fox News reported earlier this week that Weissmann in January also praised outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates, after she was fired for refusing to defend President Trump’s travel ban. * Aaron Zebley, another former partner at WilmerHale and a former chief of staff to Mueller when he served as FBI director, represented Justin Cooper, a key figure in the Hillary Clinton email controversy. * Cooper is the longtime Bill Clinton aide responsible for helping set up the now-infamous private email server. * Cooper later admitted to “two instances where he destroyed [Hillary] Clinton’s old mobile devices by breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer.” * Jeannie Rhee, another former partner at WilmerHale, represented ex-Obama National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, the Clinton Foundation in a 2015 racketeering case, and Hillary Clinton herself in a lawsuit seeking access to her private emails. * Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., a member of the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News on Friday. “Many of the members of Mueller’s team donated to the Clinton campaign. We have a lot of highly qualified federal prosecutors in the Justice Department and we could have found a bunch of them who didn’t donate to either candidate. But that didn’t occur, and that’s troubling.” -- Yes.. it's troubling that political connections were not part of the vetting process in selecting a proper investigative team, but even MORE Disturbing is that Justin Cooper was not prosecuted for obstruction of justice for destroying evidence by smashing Hellary's electronic devices and disbarred for the ABA and Legal system altogether

From the "then there's INTENTIONAL 'fake News' " department - Online headline/story: "CNN botches dates, inaccurately reports Trump campaign had WikiLeaks sneak peek * CNN’s date gaffe means that the email could have been from anyone, and its sender was merely pointing Trump Jr. to emails already available online. * CNN’s latest anti-Trump “exclusive” came crashing down on Friday, when the Washington Post debunked the network's report claiming the Trump campaign had early, secret access to hacked DNC emails from WikiLeaks. * CNN eventually issued a correction: “CNN's initial reporting of the date on an email sent to members of the Trump campaign about Wikileaks documents, which was confirmed by two sources to CNN, was incorrect. We have updated our story to include the correct date, and present the proper context for the timing of email." * No disciplinary action will be taken in the matter, a CNN official said in a tweet" -- Hmmm .. the "fake news" charges have come full circle.. even CNN admits it pushes "fake news" and isn't going to relieve any of it's staff to insure accuracy in the future.

It's time for Sen Rand Paul to "give it up".. I have relegated his e-mails to my "SPAM filter" and am hoping such self-gratification drivel will soon be stopped.
-----------------------------------
Do I like Roy Moore?.. Not particularly... and not based on what's being circulated during this campaign... I don't believe Trump does either, but what's missing in the discussions is that Roy Moore is a "public figure", and as a "public figure", is subject to random.. even politically pointed accusations that he cannot defend himself as none of the accusations are sworn under oath, and even then Moore has the responsibility to PROVE that the accuser and media sources are doing so with "absence of malice".. Trump doesn't endorse Moore personally; Trump wants a Republican Senate vote rather than a Democrat Senate vote.. (Well, truthfully, Trump would rather have 100 Senators voting for what;s best for America rather than what the political party manta is). Now, if Moore gets elected, then then the accusations become "truth" and the Senate or Court findings remove him from office, the Republican Governor of Alabama will appoint a Republican replacement until another proper election can be scheduled.. BUT.. believing Doug Jones statements that he will vote on issues any way but how Schumer tells him perpetuates the socialistic Democratic Party agenda.

L-E headline/story: "UPTOWN MARKET DAYS * RiverCenter wants market off Broadway median * An ongoing disagreement between two Columbus nonprofit organizations over the use of the city-owned median in the 900 block of Broadway has spilled over into the city manager’s office for resolution. * RiverCenter for Performing Arts Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Norman Easterbrook has been pushing to restrict the access of Uptown Market Days in front of his facility." -- Good grief.. what egos! Two non-profit entities squabbling over "turf" that neither owns..at at Christmas time at that.
---
There's a billboard on Veterans Parkway advertising a "special". Unfortunately, it's a "special" on cremation... wonder how many "sales" will be made by drivers being distracted trying to read the details of the billboard?
---
Arizona Congressman Trent Franks did the only thing he could do by resigning immediately after his staffer member related Frank's proposal to her.. What I want to know is why she stayed around for "at least" 4 of these proposals rather slapping him, calling his wife, then walking away after the first one?
---
L-E headline: "Pope Francis ponders an update to Lord’s Prayer" -- Good grief.. now POOP Francis believes he is above Jesus in rankings!
Talk about timing.. the L-E ran this quote today as well as POOP Francis' story: ""AUTHORITY POISONS EVERYBODY WHO TAKES AUTHORITY ON HIMSELF. Golda Meir, Israeli political leader (1898-1978)"
