From the "under the circumstances... maybe not the best choice... at this time" department - M/C headline: "‘I am looking forward to really turning Isaiah loose’: Mayor-elect gives Hugley full support" -- You know, other than a couple of "blips", I have to respect Isaiah Hugley's job performance for the city of Columbus... and the "blips" are really situations either beyond hos control, or where he took a fall for his boss. Isaiah Hugley has worked for some very good leaders (current one excepted) who respected his abilities and performance.. My biggest issue with Isaiah Hugley is his marriage to the Minority Whip in our GA House of Representatives.. Columbus has a positioned itself against the political flow of most of the state as it's become an almost impenetrable nest for the DIMocrat Party while the Republican Party rules the state coffers.. I cannot see this situation as favorable for our City.. Now, why do I believe... under the circumstances... that Skip Henderson's "glowing" endorsement is not a good choice.. at this time.. The forensic audits... one has exposed some serious situations in what wasn't even thought of as a potential problem area, and another is being conducted at the moment, and the City Manager's office has to be done as well. I hope Skip's euphoric words do not come back and haunt him ..or Columbus.

The newly discovered/released Strzok e-mails raise new questions about the Justice Department...mainly if there was actually any justice going on in the Justice Department from 2009 to 2016.

---
DIMocrat Senator Steny Hoyer blasted Trump for making Puerto Rico all about himself....as Hoyer made Puerto Rico and blasting Trump all about himself.

---
Read that Face Book silenced a know expert for saying Gender Dysphoria is a "mental disorder" - Hmmm.. and despite Facebook’s suggestion that calling gender confusion a mental disorder constitutes “hate speech,” the American Psychiatric Association still classifies gender dysphoria as a mental disorder, as did the World Health Organization until this summer. You know... since "gender dysphoria" is OBVIOUSLY not a physical issue (as Sight Test 1 proves), what else can it be?

---
From the " what was Willie Nelson thinking" department.. Willie Nelson is scheduled to headline a rally for DIMocrat Senate nominee in Texas, Beto O'Rourke...does Willie realize that Beto wanted the VFW to take down its American Flags for an event he scheduled at the VFW facility? Willie will die soon enough, but this will ruin a career for his sons.

---
As we focus on practices that rear their ugly head during disasters, think about this. You know, we have laws on the books that protect consumers from "price gouging" during times of uncertainty or disaster. What we need are laws protecting voters from gouging promises made by politicians who have no intention ... for matter.. no skills or desire...to keep them?

---
Since the NYT feels Obama deserves credit for Trump's soaring economy, how come the NYT doesn't want to credit Obama with hurricane Florence? Look, Obama is much associated with windy talk and hot air than Trump has ever been.

---
Was listening to the NC governor talking to North Carolinians about what to expect from the threat of Florence, and he sounded awfully 2nd grad-ish ...then I remembered, he is a DIMocrat and was trying to talk with his supporters. He doesn't want them caught in the wake of a flood like Gov Landreau of Louisiana did when Katrina destroyed New Orleans, and not vote in the November mid-term election.

---
My BC friends know how to bring it!

One just offered as list of questions/ topics that should be discussed at Mayor Tom-LYING-son's next , "Let's Talk" forum:

Talk with the Mayor- new agenda items:
*maintenance records on the Government Center;
*report on Mayor’s accident;
*release of ALL LOST TAX REVENUE expenditures;
*Real Truth in cost of River & Bradley Park Roads roundabout

These ought to bring a crowd that isn't on the mayor/City's staff list.

---
Maybe we need to explain to the Mayor/Council that "LOST dollars" refers to the revenue and intended purpose of such, not just the money that gets "lost" on it's way to the taxpayers want them spent.

---
Just for the record..I have had many requests concerning where I got the "Trump 2020" sticker.on the window if my vehicle. Just Google "Trump 2020 stickers" and you will get l00's of options. Can't help you with "Hellary 2020" ones.

---
You know, when a person applies for voter registration...re-registration...and has been previously registered in any other precinct or state, there should be a form that has to be filled out first to notify the previous registration official so the old info can be verified, then expunged from the last voting list. Seems like a perfectly legal, simple, and obligatory requirement.

---
Online story: "The sheriff of Pima County, Arizona said Wednesday on "Fox & Friends" that the rejection by county officials of a $1.4 million federal grant to strengthen border security is puzzling. * The board reportedly voted to reject funding from Operation Stonegarden, a program that would bolster cooperation on border security between the federal and local government. * Sheriff Mark Napier said that the same board of supervisors accepted the same grant the previous 12 years," -- Hmmm... $1.4 Million to bolster border security... rejected...maybe the county officials' citizenship status should be scrutinized.. maybe 12 years of security grants didn't do the job effectively.

---
HuffPOOPOO stuff: "Ruth Bader Ginsburg Slams Senate Hearings As A ‘Highly Partisan Show’" -- Good grief.. and Ruth Ginsburg is the ringleader of a highly partisan-ized Supreme Court!

---
Another bit of HuffPOOPOO stuff: "President Donald Trump’s son was accused of making an anti-Semitic comment during an interview on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday after he said Woodward wrote Fear: Trump in the White House to “make three extra shekels.” -- Good grief.. Eric Trump should have said "make 30 pieces of silver".. Woodward has betrayed journalism as well.

---
Did you know there is a list .. a list of 29 countries that our government has put together e=recommending Americans not to go/visit/vacation there? My question is why do we allow those counties citizens to come in to ours?

---
Even more HuffPOOPOO stuff: "Dianne Feinstein acknowledges having a secret Brett Kavanaugh document" -- Good grief.. Diana Feinstein has no "secret" document... she has an undocumented bit of information she hasn't revealed. It's especially grievous that she waves it around like Cory Booker... perhaps she's "Spartaca"

---
M/C L-E headline: "(Stormy) Daniels’ memoir, ‘Full Disclosure,’ to debut in Oct." -- "Full Disclosure"? Seriously, is the title a typo? I'd think "Full Exposure" would be more appropriate for her.

---
Today is the birthday of of our National Anthem written in 1814... wonder if KaeperPRICK would have taken a knee as he raised a white flag during the War of 1812.

Thursday, September 13, 2018

While we have the symbolic imagine of the DIMocrats nailed down perfectly... The Jackass.. it brays too much when work is needed, and sits down on the job when it could actually help - MSM-13 needs one... a symbolic image, i.e......how about a Jackal... they run around in packs nipping at sores and vulnerabilities of prey they feel are injured and cannot fight back.

---
From the "huh?" department - Online story: "Georgia election officials will continue passing out inaccurate voter registration applications ahead of the November midterm elections and until at least next year, the Secretary of State’s office told WABE on Friday. * The old forms say potential voters must include documents with their application that prove their residence — for example, a photo ID or utility bill. But that’s not required, according to state law. Proof of residence can instead be presented to poll workers when a voter goes to cast their ballot." -- Good grief! Accurate voting BEGINS at registration! Proof of American citizenship, as well as state and local, should always be MANDATORY at registration, and the photo ID requirement at the polling places should only be about showing you are the one who is registered to vote.

---
Online story: "By reducing the penalties for serious crimes and putting criminals back on the streets sooner, members of the House and Senate supporting shorter sentences would make our communities more dangerous and inevitably increase the number of crime victims – including those seriously injured and killed." -- And recent postings of recent felony arrests here in Columbus, GA confirm this posture. 4 recent postings in the M/C L- E confirm that 56%-66% of those just arrested were also in violation of the parole or probation which basically means that more than half of the new felony crimes/arrests would not have happened if those people were serving their full sentences.

Again, we need a mandatory law that states irrevocably that if a person on probation or under parole conditions for a felony commits another felony during the probation/parole time constraints, that felon cannot receive early release from a sentence ever again.

---
Online "headLIE": "Hurricane Florence: Washington Post declares Trump is 'complicit' for dangerous storm" -- Good grief! The editorial board of the Washington Post has declared that President Trump is “complicit” for Hurricane Florence because of his views on climate change. - you gotta kidding! The WaPo is actually blaming Trump for Hurricane Florence..Next, the WaPo will be blaming Trump for Hellary not winning and we all know Hellary pretty much beat herself.

---
From the "Fred Sanford...it's the big one, Elizabeth, I'm coming to see you" department - The DIMocrats are really sweating. John Kerry made an appearance on Fox...and begged at that, so you know he's desperate to sell his new book.

---
John Kerry is the epitome of the hot air that props up the DIMocrats' "policy". Just the amount of hot air he needs to groom his hair in the morning alone shows the dependence on it the DIMocrats have.

---
I could be wrong, but...you know, when the government seems so ready for a bad storm, and predicting it to be the worst ever, then I'm inclined to believe it will not be as bad as predicted. Let's just keep praying..

---
Can you believe it...that a liberal website has been opened that has over $1 MILLION in commitments already made to extort Sen Susan Collin's vote on Supreme Court nominee Bruce Kavanaugh. Arrests should be made immediately! The 'catch' is that people who donate will get their money back if Collins votes "NO" on Kavanaugh, but if she votes "YES", then that money will be given to Collins' 2020 Democrat to-be-named opponent. This is extortion...illegal..and no expense should be spared to convict all involved !

---
You know, when the MSM-13/DIMocrat coalition expresses its desire to overturn the 2016 election to get Trump out of the White House, what they're are really saying is they want...pure and simply.. Hellary and Bill in it, and control again of the DOJ investigations of them. TRUMP 2020 Vision!

---
With the evacuations going on now, what happens when the steady streams of cars traveling away from the coast using all lanes of highways and Interstates and they all need gasoline? Let's look.. most stations aren't equipped to handle bumper-to-bumper, double traffic to begin with, and most cars are going to need refilling at about the same point in time and space.

---
You know if for no other reason than keeping Pelosi out of the Speakers chair, or Maxine Waters from chairing the House Financial Committee, vote straight Republican!

---
This is the type of law we should have on the books to address immigration situations:
1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.
2. All ballots will be in this nation's language.
3 All government business will be conducted in our language.
4. Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here.
5. Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office.
6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or any other government assistance programs. Any who are a burden will be deported.
7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
8. If foreigners come here and buy land, their options will be restricted. Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
9. Foreigners may have NO protests; NO demonstrations, NO waving of a foreign flag, no political organizing, NO bad-mouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to deportation.
10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be actively hunted and, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you.

Now... before you comment.. either way... These ARE the LAWS ...in Mexico.

---
What is it with the MSM-13/DIMocrat coalition (a.k.a. the Dyslexic Duo)? .. at press conferences where the head of FEMA reassured all that there was PLENTY of federal dollars available for the expected needs created by Hurricane Florence, yet the Dyslexic Duo was only interested in the $10,000,000.00 Trump had moved from the account to address the needs of the Dyslexic Duo's complaints at our Southern Border to keep mothers and children together..

This is where GA ranks with all the other states as to the impact that property taxes effects us:

#26. Georgia
> Effective property tax rate: 0.9%
> Median home value: $166,800 (20th lowest)
> Per capita property tax collections: $1,087 (20th lowest)
> Median household income: $53,559 (21st lowest)"

GA ranks right in the middle of the US states concerning "effective property tax rates". GA is 26th.. meaning we are at that point of being "the worst of the lowest or best of the highest". Of course, GA would be ranked further down the list of lowest if not for Columbus.. a quick rounded-off calculation of my property taxes indicate that even with the homestead exemption, our home has a 1.5% effective property tax rate ($5200 on $345,000 after exemption)

To further expose this, if Columbus was a state, Columbus would be tied with Rhode Island and Pennsylvania as the 10th HIGHEST property taxing state in the country!

From the "and?" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Colorado company to bring 600 jobs to town * Global Callcenter Solutions of Pueblo, Colo., to take up residence in former Winn-Dixie supermarket * A Colorado-based company said Wednesday it plans to create 600 jobs in Columbus over the next five years, providing an economic shot in the arm for an area of the city that sorely needs it." -- Sounds like a Tom-LYING-son "brokered deal".. fanfare galore, but nothing concrete until she's out of the picture...In true Tom-LYING-son form.. GCS will get to it when it get 'aroundabout to it"... or not... but it sounds good now... unless of course you live in the Buena Vista Road area and need a place to but groceries.

---
M/C L-E headline: "Electronic or paper ballots? Judge to decide for Georgia" -- I tell you what.. I'd rather have electronic voting where we could see whether there was any "ballot stuffing" by DIMocrats because we know that their e-mails are easy to hack into, rather than knowing there is a backroom without surveillance where paper ballots can be stuffed into a ballot box without witnesses..

The Columbus Library has a major Book Reading even this Saturday.. Prominent authors of children's and others books are featured..There was another event stated by a ColGAY official earlier this month promising a second "Drag Queen Story Hour" on the 15th...What is this situation?

---
Columbus has another of those "Let’s Talk! . . . with the Mayor” scheduled for next week (the 20th). You know, I'll bet a larger facility would be needed if she re-titled the event to "I resign or confess".

Wednesday, September 12, 2018

From the "there is somebody listening" department - "Online headline/story: "Columnist suggests Trump 'deserves the 2018 Nobel Prize in economics' * Stephen Moore, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, recently suggested that President Trump “deserves the 2018 Nobel Prize in economics.” * “Why is he ‘deranged’? Because he is overturning trade deals, pulling the United States out of anti-America climate change treaties, building a wall to keep out undesirables, cutting taxes, slashing regulation and insisting that Europe pay its fair share of NATO’s costs,” Moore writes. * He also denies that the economy under Trump owes a debt to the progress made during the Obama administration, stating, “Every policy Trump implements reverses President Obama’s policy.” -- And, Trump should be front runner in the Nobel Peace Prize as well..,, You know, but the best thing we could hope for is for the Pulitzer Prize to announce that it would not be giving out any prizes to any American newspaper this year because none deserve it.

---
You know, the "only" difference between Bob Woodward's novel about Nixon and his one about Trump is that instead of an informant known as "Deep Throat" in Nixon's, Woodward used "the Deep State" for Trump's.

---
Online headline/story: "Sacramento judge strikes down 95-year-old California ban on handgun advertising signs * A federal judge in Sacramento has overturned a 95-year-old state law that banned firearms dealers from using images of handguns on their storefronts as advertising to sell such weapons. * U.S. District Judge Troy L. Nunley disagreed, ruling in an order filed Tuesday that the law violates the U.S. Constitution. * “California may not accomplish its goals by violating the First Amendment,” Nunley wrote in a 15-page order issued in the four-year-old case. " -- "California may not accomplish its goals by violating the First Amendment"? Well, I guess Governor Brown will sign a new law banning our Constitution ... and Disbarring Judge Nunley..today.

---
From the "proof.. voting collusion did happen" department - Online story: "A Google executive’s leaked email reveals efforts to increase Latino turnout prior to the 2016 U.S. presidential election and the executive’s “surprise” at Donald Trump’s performance among Latino voters. * The 675-word email, first obtained exclusively by Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” was written by the tech giant’s former head of multicultural marketing and details a range of efforts to increase Latino turnout, including the support of a partner organization that helped to drive voters to the polls. * “Ultimately, after all was said and one [sic], the Latino community did come out to vote, and completely surprised us. We never anticipated that 29% of Latinos would vote for Trump. No one did,” the executive wrote." -- Hmmm... maybe it's time to ban Google... and its map-cars from our streets.. and from our phones.

---
From the "there is a need... desperate need... to educate MSM-13 on gun facts" department - Online story: "CHICAGO — Gunmen with semi-automatic rifles wound and kill twice as many people as those using non-automatic weapons, although the chances of dying if shot with either type of weapon are the same, a new analysis shows. * Researchers examined FBI data on nearly 250 "active shooter" incidents in the United States since 2000. Almost 900 people were wounded and 718 were killed. * One in four of these attacks involved semi-automatic rifles. These weapons automatically load each bullet after firing, although firing requires pulling the trigger for each round." -- "These weapons automatically load each bullet after firing"? DOH! and except for single shot bolt-action or breech load rifle/shotgun... basically ALL other forms of guns advance a new shell into firing position once a shot has been fired! Now, the funny thing about the "research" is that Shicago has it's on MAJOR issue .. and research area... right in its own back yard..rampant street deaths by shootings, and guns.. are not even legal to carry in Shicago!

---
From the "and we wondered why schools became institution of childcare rather than learning"" department - Online headline: "Georgia School Announces It Will Start Paddling Children As Punishment" -- You know.. schools in my day didn't "paddle for punishment", the option of paddling was there as a deterrent.... and that was generally enough.

---
Online headline/story: "CSX’s new lease with Georgia to bring Silver Comet Trail 2.3 miles closer to ATL * On Friday, CSX signed a lease with the State of Georgia that would allow the company to continue operating on the Western and Atlantic Railroad, which connects Atlanta and Chattanooga, according to the Cobb County Courier. * Starting in 2020, CSX will pay the state $1 million per month, which is expected to net more than $1 billion over the next 50 years, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. * In exchange for just $10, CSX agreed to abandon 2.3 miles of unused rail lines—land that’s slated to be used for an extension of the 61.5-mile Silver Comet Trail." -- Did you see it? The part about the $10.00 deal for abandoned rail lines? Now, remember "the deal" our Council made for the "abandoned rails" that make up the bicycle trail? Well, as I recall, Council gave the rail company $1,000,000.00 A MILE!

---
You know, as much as New York DESERVES Cuomo... again... let's pray for Cynthia Nixon... the DNC DESERVES her. Either way, New York loses, but it will make liberal "think" pieces more confused..

---
What is it with government officials making emergency announcements that they feel the necessity to have a sign-signaler present ? My belief is that if a hearing impaired person turns on a TV to get an update, he/she already has the 'captions' option turned on.

---
I know most' experts' feel the US Capitol Building was the target of the Flight 93 terrorist crew, but I still think that the White House was the target.. as iconic as the Capitol Building is, the White House is the image that most represents the US's image throughout the world.

---
I 'met' the Republican Senate candidate, John James from Michigan, on FNC's "Outnumbered" yesterday, and wow, what a voter choice. Michigan voters can choose either a West Point grad, and now business magnate versus a DIMocrat placeholder who's sat on her hands through Michigan's plagues of leaded waters, urban deterioration, and automobile manufacturing disaster. It's almost sad that that it's considered a race.

---
From the "new low in leftist politics" department - Online headline: "MSNBC's Joe Scarborough hit for saying Trump hurts 'dream of America' more than 9/11 terrorists" -- Good grief, have the rating pool of MSM-13 dwindled down to the point that MSNBC has to cannibalize the ratings from other MSM-13 competitors to get any at all?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Who dumped $2,000 worth of blue crabs into the Chattahoochee? ‘It’s an odd situation’ * BY CHUCK WILLIAMS" -- Boy did the wrong reporter get this question..now we'll probably never know. Of course, a good investigative reporter would have checked local restaurants (event centers) to see if any had planned some crab specials this or last weekend, and solved the issue before running the story.

---
In spite the gravity of the moment, a TV reporter awaiting President Trump's words at Shanksville, PA, honoring those killed in taking down the terrorist controlled Flight 93, said she wasn't going to put words into President Trump's mouth. Good grief...she must be the only one.

---
MSM-13 was expecting .. well, wanting, a upbeat speech expressing "confidence" when President Trump spoke at Shanksville. As usual, MSM-13 does not know President Trump..He hammered home the bravery and resolve of the heroes of Flight 93, and the reasons we cannot EVER forget what evil lurks in the shadows of unpreparedness.

---
Trump nailed it again.."our future is not written by our enemies it's written by our heroes"..poignant words... but he left a category out.. our history/future does too often get rewritten....by liberal ZEROES!

---
My youngest daughter was almost 5 when we were attacked in 2001. We watched and talked about that day and time yesterday...I think the politics of then sunk in when I told her it was 18 months before President Bush could amount an assured 'win' for America because Clinton had pretty much decimated our military preparedness... and the terrorists knew this. This is why we need to be diligent in not electing another liberal as our Commander in Chief.

---
Vice President Pence mentioned the growing number of Americans who do not remember the 9-11-01 attack on our country..It brothers me, too, as it is not being properly taught in our history classes. ..yet, what bothers me more are those who witnessed it, but are rewriting history to aid their propaganda campaign to make it seem it was our fault.

---
The chatter about the voting process in GA not being "safe" or 'unbiased" or "tainted" is escalating as we speak.. of course, if DIMocrats come out well, all that "chatter: will immediately cease and the message will be that "the system works, so let's keep it".

---
After seeing the 20 minute recap video of Fox News taken from September 11, 2001, how can anybody live with themselves pettily protesting our National Flag and Anthem?

---
Monday night, our cable/wifi/phone system was "out" for 2 plus hours. We decided to watch a DVD movie but realized most of the new ones we have are oriented to our 6 year old granddaughter, so we rummaged through our older inventory.. Ran across "The Green Berets"...Not only was it shot here, my mother was in it..Haven't watched it in years.. it was amazing...amazing in poor graphics, amazing in recalling "Hilton" before it burned down, and most amazing seeing my mother again in her vibrancy. It was a nice evening. Then, yesterday morning, I got to share my mother with my youngest daughter... nice!

From the "sign of better times" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Workers quitting for better jobs * U.S. employers advertised the most jobs on record in July, and the number of workers quitting their jobs also hit a new all-time high. *Americans are increasingly taking advantage of a tight labor market to find new, often higher-paying jobs. That could help push up wages broadly across the economy. * Quits are typically a good sign that jobs are plentiful, because people usually quit when they have another job or are confident they can find one. * Private sector surveys also point to solid gains. ManpowerGroup’s employment outlook survey, released Tuesday, found that employers in all 13 large industries that it tracks plan to add workers in the final three months of the year. The staffing company’s survey also found that hiring should pick up in all four regions. * The company’s hiring index in the South reached a 10-year high, ManpowerGroup said." -- "the company’s hiring index in the South reached a 10-year high"? Let's see.. 10 years ago was 2008... the year Obama first took office... You know, it IS a sign of good times when people feel they aren't locked into dead-end jobs for fear of not finding a better one...compare this to the era people had to get two 30-hour or less dead-end jobs to make ends meet because OObamaCRAP regulations scared employers.

A fellow BCer passed this on to me, and I'm sharing it gladly:

Finally, I want to get in U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley's pitch perfect response to the New York Times anonymous "resistance" op-ed. Haley took to The Washington Post:
I, too, am a senior Trump administration official. I proudly serve in this administration, and I enthusiastically support most of its decisions and the direction it is taking the country. But I don't agree with the president on everything. When there is disagreement, there is a right way and a wrong way to address it. I pick up the phone and call him or meet with him in person.
Like my colleagues in the Cabinet and on the National Security Council, I have very open access to the president. He does not shut out his advisers, and he does not demand that everyone agree with him. I can talk to him most any time, and I frequently do. If I disagree with something and believe it is important enough to raise with the president, I do it. And he listens. Sometimes he changes course, sometimes he doesn't. That's the way the system should work. And the American people should be comfortable knowing that's the way the system does work in this administration.
Haley insisted that loyalty to Donald Trump is not the point, but trying to undermine him is still wrong.

He or she claims to be putting the country first, and that is the right goal. Everyone in government owes a greater loyalty to our country and our Constitution than to any individual officeholder. But a central part of our democracy requires that those who work directly for the president not secretly try to undermine him or his policies. What the author is describing is an extra-constitutional method of addressing policy disputes within the administration. That's wrong on a fundamental level.
If the author truly is a senior administration official, then he or she has the kind of access to the president I described. If that is the case, this official has ample opportunity to try to persuade the president to change course. If the author is frustrated by an inability to persuade the president, then he or she is free to resign.

By making sweeping, but mostly unspecific, anonymous claims, the author creates many problems.

Her conclusion nailed it.
To Mr. or Ms. Anonymous, I say: Step up and help the administration do great things for the country. If you disagree with some policies, make your case directly to the president. If that doesn't work, and you are truly bothered by the direction of the administration, then resign on principle. There is no shame in that.

In my conclusion: "The NYT: All the news that's s*** to print"

Tuesday, September 11, 2018

Patriotic Americans will stop and reflect throughout the day as we re-grasp the horrors of September 11, 2001.. Nike and the NFL are just glad there are no football games that will be broadcast showing their personnel "kneeling" in protest for the National Anthem.. You have to wonder if some of them would have knelt in protest as brave men of the NYFD raised our flag out of the rubble of the Twin Towers.

---
Online headline: "Omarosa: Clinton was 'robbed' of the 2016 election, I was a 'co-conspirator': - "Robbed"? Trump won 30 stated outright plus an extra district in Maine...that, my friends is a slam dunk!

---
I'm enjoying the Target re-do...now that Target doesn't sell popcorn and Icees my granddaughter doesn't beg to go there every time we drive by.

With grandchildren, time flies while you're trying to figure out where time went.

With so many ads for so many spray air fresheners, isn't it time for a research study on the long term effect on our lungs from breathing in air freshener sprays 24/7?

---
Hellary has been caught telling a truth.. well, a half-truth.. She told DIMocrats at a fund raiser that Slick Willie didn't "Twitter" while he was president .. he "got things done". Of course the real truth is that Twitter didn't exist when he was president but she didn't mention that and no other DIMocrats caught on either...Now, let this be the final answer as to why I call them "DIMocrats".

Starting today, Columbus Council should designate every penny taken in from the 30% share of the Public Safety LOST for "Infrastructure" and apply it to repairing the Government Center...we should feel safe on city properties.

WRBL 3 story: "Columbus Police are investigating a Homicide on Rigdon Rd. and 10th St.
* Police say they responded around 11:00 p.m. to find one victim suffering from gun shot wounds. * The victim, Thalmus Jones, later died from his injuries." -- Number 25... at a minimum..

I learned yesterday that there was a drug bust at the gas station at the corner of 2nd Ave & Manchester Exp, and an armed robbery at the gas station on the corner of Veterans and Whitesville Rd, and I've found out about them only because I belong to a Face Book group that discusses crimes that go on in Columbus as reported over a police scanner...This is not enough for us in Columbus. Every day, most of my family drives by or into those two locations, and we deserve to know what's happening that could effect our lives. Our newspaper bailed out on our community a long time ago, so it's up to our Council to help us.

Wow... what a blessing...I heard Lindsay Graham inject what he would do if he 'was president'....thank God he's not.

From "the perils of teaching liberalism vs constitutionalism in a high school civics class" department - Online story: "Anti-gun activist David Hogg made a fool of himself last week as he urged Canadians to donate to American political campaigns, which is against the law. * The 18-year-old Parkland student and anti-Second Amendment extremist was attending a rally with Michael Moore and apparently forgot which country he was in * He launched his rant by asking an audience of Canadians, “Who’s ready to save America?” After some polite applause, the still oblivious Hogg mustered on. * Hogg struggled on, talking about American problems, like the water in Flint, Michigan, and “mass incarceration.” * Seated next to him during this whole time, Michael Moore tried not to look embarrassed. * Hogg then summoned up the gusto to tell a room full of Canadians, “Turn that shame into your vote!” * After an awkward silence, the porch lights finally came on, and Hogg added, “If you’re not Canadian!” * Stumbling around embarrassed, Hogg then turned to Moore and said, “I think Canadians can donate to political campaigns in the United States.” -- And sadly, you have to wonder if Loss Hogg took names to send them absentee ballots...

Another from"the perils of teaching liberalism vs constitutionalism in a high school civics class: department - Online headline: "(High School) Students ordered to spray paint over name of Christ on football field" -- Good grief! Two vital rights our Founding Fathers fought for to Make America Great forever are being destroyed in high school.. the 1st and 5th Amendments. Our school boards MUST realign our current curriculum to teach our History correctly!

---
Putting the Boston Globe's nationwide conspiratorial 300 newspapers (which did not endorse Trump) single editorial, and the NYT's "anonymous" editorial, and now Woodward's book, you have the makings of the situation our Founding Fathers clearly warned us of...internal terrorism/treason! President Trump IS the duly elected president "by the people", yet he is being targeted by a elf-promoting collusive group in an attempt to overturn the American people's choice. Their Machiavellian attitude would already have toppled a lesser man than President Trump, so we must support him...we must let him know we appreciate what he's sacrificed personally to bring our country, our children and grandchildren a future as bright as our generation had.

These three "anchors" of liberalism need a name to mark them for history.. how about "The Patooey Triangle ... a place where the truth goes in, but it doesn't return"

Serena William's claims to have been trying to assert women's rights when she tore into the referee at the Open...where was her respect for the rights of the woman who was beating her butt on court?

---
Left something out in my "Monday" recap item...not only hasn't Zeph Baker turned in his Financial Disclosures, nor had Amy Bryan removed her "elect me" signs off the building at 13th St and 5th Ave, but we still haven't heard confirmation concerning the reported accident Mayor Tom-LYING-son had...either way... even IF it happened, but if it did, were all City policies and protocols followed.

---
We cannot let Obama try to take credit for any part of our booming economy...the Consumer Confidence Index soared the day after the Election, the Fed is raising interest rates now to keep inflation in check created by a soaring economy, while it was holding them down to ZERO and printing unbacked money trying to prop up the economy under Obama, and now, not only is unemployment lower than the GDP for the first time in over 100 years, but more people are joining back into the job market..No, Obama, this economy is not booming because of your policies, but because your policies are being counteracted. Trump 2020!

---
One other thing about Obama desperately trying to take credits for the Trump economy...just a month ago..and for last 18 months for that matter, the DIMocrat mantra has been that the economy is actually not happening. This is a good time to remind even DIMocrats that Obama's outgoing opinions of the American economy was that "those jobs aren't coming back" and "2% GDP...get use to it".

---
Word is out that Syria's ASSwad is planning a chemical attack on the rebels.. Trump has sworn swift response if it happens...you know, ASSwad would not be in this situation...again, if Obama had crushed him after ASSwad "crossed the line in the sand" he pompously drew and failed to back up.

---
MSM-13 is trying to make Obama's claims of being responsible for Trump's economy based on a rally in California that Obama spoke to... What MSM-13 DIDN'T say was that there were only 750 +/- DIMocrats in attendance.

---
The rehiring of a familiar name for our local government has also stirred up a dark memory from 2001, when another employee was fired for unsuitable content accessed on a City computer.. Said employee, though, wasn't just "fired" or let go; he was released with a one year salary compensation.. I've always been suspicious of such payments made when firing "for cause".. just seems to indicate not all the information was brought to light.

---
Online headline/story: "Ken Starr says he considered perjury charges against Hillary Clinton, in explosive new memoir * “In the space of three hours, she claimed, by our count, over a hundred times that she ‘did not recall’ or ‘did not remember,’” Starr wrote. “This suggested outright mendacity. To be sure, human memory is notoriously fallible, but her strained performance struck us as preposterous.” * But Starr suggested he eventually decided against pursuing criminal charges against Hillary Clinton because it would have been hard to prove she lied." -- "too hard to prove she lied"? Good grief, all a jury would have needed was video showing her lips moving!

---
Online headline: "Sarah Sanders dismisses talk of 25th Amendment against Trump as 'ridiculous'" -- #tfa.....twenty-fifth-amendment? I don't think so... how about Trump For America!

---
From the "hypocrisy of the NYT's Editorial Board" department - Online headline: "Andrew Cuomo Owes Cynthia Nixon an Apology * A last-minute mailer from Democrats wrongly describing Ms. Nixon as anti-Semitic is a disgrace. * By The Editorial Board * The editorial board represents the opinions of the board, its editor and the publisher. It is separate from the newsroom and the Op-Ed section." -- What's really needed is apologies from the NYT.. not only to President Trump, but America itself, for cowardly running an an anonymous commentary purportedly from a White House staffer.. Of course, like this one, it will be insincere and only done so to look like the NYT actually cares about the truth.

---
Despite the constant onslaught of the MSM-13/DIMocrat coalition, when history is written, Trump's accomplishments in such a short time will be legendary.... not imaginary, as in Obama's case.

---
From the "are you ready for this" department - Online story: "Miss Michigan Emily Sioma eschewed the usual boastful or rah-rah introduction (at the Miss America contest) to deliver this pointed diss at her home state in her introduction Sunday night: “From a state with 84 percent of the U.S. fresh water, but none for its residents to drink, I’m Miss Michigan Emily Sioma.” -- Half-truths and incomplete thoughts are the death of solutions.. what she didn't say was that those cities' officials are DIMocrat political havens.

---
From the "don't you love it when liberals eat their own?" department - Online headline: "‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski called out for bashing Serena Williams: 'Yikes' -- Once again, libs confirm that the truth is not what they want.. or, in other words, if you can't say what they want to hear about each other, don't dare speak it.

A few weeks ago, we learned that the much denied knowledge of the location of the new wrestling building for Columbus High School had actually been known since before last February (bid was accepted on Feb 18th, so obviously, the site was included in the particulars), yet it is not currently being worked on. Why is this? Keep us informed, MCSB..

M/C L-E headline: "US orders Palestinian office closed in DC" -- Trump ... For America.. for all Americans' Constitutional rights!

Monday, September 10, 2018

It must be a sign of the times.. that is..liberals seem to have more time to whine about people like Trump when all their financial aspects are going well for them. TRUMP 2020!

---
From the "rooster comes back to roost" department - hmmm..remember 2 years ago when Greta Carlson blasted Fox's Roger Ailes.. on her words .. as to what the facts were....well, well, well..seems she is being blasted Miss America contestants...for bullying! As Bob Dylan might exclaim, ""Well how does it feel!"

I don't think Clemson deserves the Number 2 spot after the weekend...Clemson has a definite QB issue, and Tex A&M, while a pretty solid team is not top echelon in the SEC West. Of the 5 SEC teams ranked in the TOP 16 this week, 4 are from the SEC West which Texas A&M is assigned.

Looks like Auburn has a new "tradition" for post game activities at Toomer's Corner.. after "throwing toilet paper" some hang around and 'Throw lead".

Question: Do Auburn fans who leave a blowout game at half-time go to Toomer's Corner and start heaving toilet paper before the game ends?

---
Hmmmm...mug shots of 60 more Columbus felony releases are out...in addition to their new charges 33 of them were also charged with being in violation of probation or parole after being released early from a previous crime they were convicted of....and if they hadn't been released early, the new crimes and charges wouldn't have just happened.
You know, something that should be considered for a NEW CRIME PREVENTION LAW that WILL WORK is that if a felon has been convicted and released, if he/she commits another crime and are charged additionally with being in Violation of the parole/probation terms of release, then that person must forever serve his/her ENTIRE MAXIMUM SENTENCE for the NEW crimes ON TOP of serving out the rest of the sentence from the crimes he/she was released early!!!

From the "shades of a middle school election campaign" department - Online headline/story: "Gov. Cuomo gets endorsement of nation's largest gun control group * “Everytown For Gun Safety" is proud to endorse Governor Cuomo, who doesn’t just talk big about gun safety—he delivers big results in the form of life-saving gun laws,” John Feinblatt, the president of Everytown for Gun Safety, said * He was also endorsed by the father of a Parkland student killed in February." -- Good grief.. Can anyone show me a gun control law that has kept a criminal from not breaking it? What a joke, he's already promised "get out of jail free" cards for felons and illegals to vote on election day.

From another story: "New Yorkers who plan to vote in next week’s primary elections should be forewarned. * For the first time, thousands of registered sex offenders and paroled pedophiles are now allowed to vote at school polling places— but only after 7 p.m., according to state officials. * The state primary is on Thursday, Sept. 13 and the general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 6. * In May, Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New Castle issued a blanket pardon that gave 24,000 parolees the right to vote." -- Good grief.. so now. if there is a line waiting to vote at 7:00, sex offenders can get in line, possibly in the same line as their victims or the parents of their victims!

Online headline: "Kanye West sits with Hillary Clinton at Ralph Lauren NYFW event amid ongoing support of Donald Trump" -- Hmmm... you know.. the real.. really, the ONLY question here is: Why would Ralph Lauren allow Hellary in there to take up space in his fashion show presentation?

From the "hoisted by one's own petard" department - Editorial comment by "Michael Gerson: We are a superpower run by a simpleton * michaelgerson@washpost.com. * One of the major problems with President Trump's impulsivity is its utter predictability." -- "Simpleton"? Simpleton MY ARSE! You know.. the worst problem the US had was TOO MUCH predictability! Third World despots/pissants KNEW Clinton (other than an aspirin factory), Bush (other than a guarded venture into Iraq), nor Obama ( the line in the sand) would mount any preventative or responsive counter to their saber-rattling and bully annoyances.. No bully will step into an affray if he knows his opponent will strike.. whether 1st blow or in response..

Remember last January...when 3 men drove a garbage truck onto the rail line and the Republican train collided with it? It was obviously an attempted assassination attempt. What's the status?

---
How can MSM-13 and Obama claim he kick-started the economy Trump has generated..The last two evaluations Obama made were " those jobs aren't coming back" and " 2% GDP.....get use to it!" Well...the jobs are coming back, and GDP is up over 4%!

Online story: "Nike’s online sales have surged in the wake of it's "Just Do It" campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick. *A report from Edison Trends said the company’s online sales grew 31 percent from Sunday through Tuesday. The surge was better than the 17 percent increase recorded last year during the same period, the report stated." -- 3 days? Nice try, but let's see what the next 6 months show... Remember when Nike stood by Tiger Woods during his scandals? Remember Nike's golf equipment/ball division closing up?

Now.. let's show MSM-13 what a real "sales spurt" looks like.. here is the link to "Nine Line Apparel" .. making and selling "I Stand" shirts https://www.ninelineapparel.com/

Speaking of "ratings".. did you see the dismal ratings numbers on Thursday night's NFL season's opener between the Eagles and Falcons?? Looks like their wings were clipped and they cannot fly.

Online headline: "Chris Cuomo Mocks ‘Libertarian’ Rand Paul For Wanting Lie Detectors to Find Op-Ed Writer: ‘Crazy Days!’ -- What would be more appropriate...funner, too, is to have Chris Cuomo hooked up to a lie detector when he's "on air".

Online headline: "Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh tiptoes through legal minefields on way to confirmation" -- Tiptoed?..I saw him kick at lot of donkey butts.

Excuse me.. why is Twitter expanding it's worst "Big Twit" position? Banning anyone doesn't shut them up.. or out.. if Twitter goes unchallenged in Court, Twitter is emboldened to assert it's Marxist control over free speech.. to everybody's detriment. To start with, I do not.. have not .. will not.. have a Twitter account because I believe them to be a banal (anal, too) avenue at communication, but if I did, and didn't approve of ... or want to hear... somebody's opinion, I could just not follow them...loss of followers is the most painful dismissal of one's opinions (ask Hellary).. So, let Alex Jones should feel his own blade of hara kiri.

M/C L-E headline: "MOTHERS OF INVENTION * Crying baby keeping you awake on vacation? Columbus inventors hopes to solve that" -- Front page news? And yet the M/C L-E buried the story Saturday about this being the best wage growth year in the US for the last 9 years behind pages and pages of leftist political propaganda. I guess, the M/C L-E hoped readers would tire of the propaganda and stop reading before finding good news about the economy..

---
From the "you just gotta love Trump" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "U.S. recalls top diplomats from Latin America * The United States has recalled top diplomats from the Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Panama, nations that cut diplomatic ties with Taiwan in favor of recognizing China." -- and the world breathes easier KNOWING the US will stand up for it's friends and allies during political posturing moments.. BUILD the WALL!

---
M/C L-E headline: "Obama urges ‘sanity in our politics’ on campaign swing" -- Hmmm versus the "insanity" he brought into, and left the country in? I can agree with him on this.

---
Noticed immediately that there is no discussion of the insurance situation on the damages experienced at the Government Center over the recent months, yet we hear snippets of issues from time to time.. the citizens of Columbus deserve to know what's going on behind Mayor Tom-LYING-son's "war room doors".

---
That's some ad for the "Bob Wright Symposium on Business Empowerment" here in Columbus...... Whatta slap in women's faces... talented and successful women galore... but having a male moderator to legitimize the event.

---
M/C L-E guest commentary headline: "After all this time, what do we still want from Monica Lewinsky? * BY MONICA HESSE * The Washington Post" -- I sure hope Ms Hesse isn't going to ask Bill Clinton for his answer... I can hear him now, "Is this a trick question?"

My question is: "Why would the M/C L-E even RUN a stupidly headlined commentary ?

---
From the "loyalty misplaced" department - Online headline: "Woods calls Nike Kaepernick ad a 'beautiful spot' -- Funny, I could describe the situation similarly, but I'd drop "beautiful spot" and go with "blight". I can "appreciate" Tiger's position.. Nike stood with him when other sponsors dropped him several tears ago over some personal issues, but Nike must not remember too well, that it's "Tiger endorsed equipment/ball divisions took big hits and are no longer being made. Nike could afford to absorb the loss in golf equipment, ...but will die if it's shoe business is affected similarly.

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Officers involved in deadly shooting returned to duty * An investigation into the May 2 police shooting of a wanted man at 35th Street and River Road isn’t complete, but Columbus police believe they have enough information from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to return the officers involved to full duty. * Police Sgt. Michael Peyton and Cpl. Larry Daniel were taken off administrative leave with pay and returned to full duty last month, " -- Welcome back! Columbus missed you.

---
Hmmm... looks like CBS has seen the error of it's ways.. It's now backtracking it's support of Les Moonves.. too little... but not too late.

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Black women organizing to energize voters this fall * Meeting on the campus of Jackson (MS) State University on a recent Friday afternoon, dozens of black women came together to strategize about the upcoming midterm elections" -- Well it's about time! Perhaps this year's strategy discussions will start off with why the old ""DIMocrat Straight Ticket Bloc Voting" hasn't worked... ever.. and taking a fresh look at how conservative ideals are what make America GREAT!

---
From the "buried, of course.. in the back" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "US hiring picked up in August as pay surged most in 9 years * The pace of hiring in the United States quickened in August, and wages grew at their fastest pace in nine years – evidence that employers remain confident despite the Trump administration’s ongoing conflicts with its trading partners. * The economy added a strong 201,000 jobs, and the unemployment rate stayed at 3.9 percent, near an 18-year low, the government said Friday in its monthly jobs report." -- This is how MSM-13 deals with "the truth"... bury it behind pages of propaganda and hope the average reader gets too discouraged before finding the truth.

Maybe the fervor for the CRIMSON Tide maybe a little iron deficient..
At 10:30 Saturday morning, there were tickets available for $5.00.

From the "Back the Blue" department - Online headline/story: "325,000 Police Officers Just Sent Nike a Bold Message They’ll NEVER Forget * Gino Fisanotti, Nike’s vice president of brand marketing for North America, told ESPN, “We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward.” The tone deafness here is stunning. * Now, the Fraternal Order of Police is stepping forward and speaking out against Nike’s 30th-anniversary ad campaign. The FOP has over 325,000 officers with over 2,100 chapters across the country. So, that’s a pretty loud voice.Chuck Canterbury, who is the national president of the Fraternal Order of Police, even went so far as to defend Kaepernick and Nike’s right to do as they please regarding freedom of expression. * Immediately following that, however, he made it abundantly clear what police think of that expression in a formal statement.

From the FOP:
“Colin Kaepernick and all Americans have the constitutional right to freely express their views, even if they are uninformed and inflammatory. Indeed, law enforcement officers have an obligation to defend these rights and we do so every day, even in those cases when the views expressed are hostile, hateful or offensive to the men and women of law enforcement. * “The Fraternal Order of Police has been called upon to boycott Nike for capitalizing on this former professional football player because he attracts controversy. In our experience, boycotts and similar exercises do not succeed and often serve only to enrich the company—which is not what we want to do. Our members and, for that matter, any American citizen, understands when the law enforcement profession is being insulted—we have no doubt they will make their purchases with that insult in mind. * “If Nike chooses to create an ad campaign featuring a former quarterback who describes cops as ‘pigs’ and makes large donations to the family of a convicted cop killer and wanted fugitive, Joanne Chesimard, who murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in cold blood in 1973, they are free to do so. * “Since 2016, 381 officers have been killed in the line of duty. They believed in something and sacrificed everything, as did the families they left behind. All of the men and women in law enforcement believe in something and are prepared to sacrifice everything. * “Ultimately, this ad campaign will end and our nation will no longer associate ‘sacrifice’ and ‘sneakers.’ Instead, we will once again associate ‘sacrifice’ with our fellow Americans in our military and police departments who stand in harm’s way to protect the rest of us and our right to express ourselves.” --
Well...looks like eventually we'll see if Nike believes believing in KaeperPRICK is worth standing up for. Back the Blue! Nike Strikee!

From the "The ayes of America are UPON Texas" -- Online headline/story: "Beto O’Rourke’s Campaign Requests VFW Hall Take Down American Flags Before His Rally There * Ted Cruz’s Challenger, Beto O’Rourke has made a name for himself by saying that he can think of “nothing more American” than kneeling during the National Anthem. We can now add stripping American flags from a VFW hall to things he thinks are good. * According to the Examiner, O’Rourke’s campaign had rented out a Veteran of Foreign Affairs Hall for a campaign rally in Navasota, TX, and requested that the VFW Post 4006 Commander Carl Dry take down the American flags in his building ahead of the event." -- You know, if this Beto O'Rourke were to win, the FBI should arrest his as soon as he takes his oath to "defend the Constitution".. and charge him with lying to a government official and perjury!

---
From the "what voter fraud?" department - Online headline/story: "Report: Massachusetts Issued Almost 2,000 Driver’s Licenses To Dead People * The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) issued 1,905 licenses to dead people — 97 percent of which were active as of January — in a move the state auditor called “a significant public safety risk.” * The audit, conducted by the office of State Auditor Suzanne Bump, found the state agency did not deactivate 4,688 licenses for people who died before their licenses expired. -- While 6,500 improperly in-use drivers licenses in a state like Massachusetts are not likely to control an election statewide, but that is enough to stop changes in local areas.. Every state. needs to have a database that connects with a national database that cross references voter registration, marriage/divorce actions, felony convictions, Social Security, MediCare/MedicAID, and death certificates. Immediately following elections, and all voters who cast votes should be compared for conflict with the national database.

I have it on good authority that Ricket Damon Carter III, and Troy Jamal Cokley, two former Pacelli Viking football players, who drove to Rome, GA and coldly shot and killed another Columbusite, Joseph McDaniel, are scheduled to go to trial in Floyd County, GA on October 1st.. Pray for justice and closure.

Online headline/story: "Capitol Recap: Analysis finds Georgia hopeful’s tax debt sets her apart * There’s nothing unique about Stacey Abrams having debt, even as a candidate for higher office. * An analysis OZY conducted of the 56 most competitive U.S. House districts showed that roughly two-thirds of the candidates owed money to somebody, and at least 65 of those aspiring Congress dwellers carried more than $50,000 in non-mortgage debt. * But the type of debt — federal taxes — is a difference-maker. * OZY’s Nick Fouriezos, who can claim a number of bylines in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s archives, wrote that the same analysis found that “of the nearly 400 House candidates, only three owed back taxes — and none near the $54,000 Abrams owed.” * “What’s more,” Fouriezos wrote, “Abrams has already donated $50,000 to her own campaign, opening her up to criticisms that she would rather fund her political ambitions than pay back the federal government (her campaign notes she is on a payment plan to pay back that debt).”

--
You know... and when Abrams doesn't win the GA governorship, she'll be out of that $50,000.00 she put in for herself (audit, please, for the source of her $50,000.00 she's saved to do so),, and she'll still owe over $50,000.00 to the voters. Abrams has an issue with making good choices and decisions..

HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "He Could Be Florida’s First Black Governor – Unless A Jim Crow-Era Law Stops Him * Andrew Gillum, the Democratic mayor of Tallahassee, needs the support of black voters to become Florida’s first black governor. But he faces a major obstacle: A provision of the Florida Constitution with Jim Crow–era roots prevents more than 1.5 million Floridians — a disproportionate number of whom are black — from voting at all. * Florida’s policy of disenfranchising felons dates back to the state’s first Constitution in 1838 and was reinforced after the Civil War as a way to keep black Americans from the polls -- Gimmee a break! In 1838, basically only whites..in fact..only white males could vote...meaning Florida's felon exclusion was aimed directly at convicted white males. The real issue here is the left feeling blacks are obligated to vote for DIMocrats...

---
From the "New Webster's icon for the word "STUPID" in it's upcoming dictionary" department - Online headline/story: "Ocasio-Cortez Praises Venezuela For Making Everyone A Millionaire Through Hyperinflation * Ocasio-Cortez then pointed out that if we would just raise the minimum wage to somewhere in the millions like the socialist South American country did, everyone will be a millionaire. * “Venezula’s minimum wage is, like, millions per month, and ours isn’t even close to that,” she said. “Our minimum wage is, like, seven bucks or something. We call ourselves a developed country, but we don’t even just like print nearly as much money as Venezuela and give it out for free, because of businesses and corporations and things like that.” -- I'm going to start hoping she wins! By 2020, the rest of New Yorkers will feel they need to support Trump after 2 years with this economic disaster walking the floors of Congress.

---
Seriously, why is the MSM-13/DIMocrat coalition so concerned about the tariffs foreign countries are paying to dump steel and aluminum into our country rather than applauding the impact it has had on recreating jobs in steel, aluminum, and coal in our country!

---
Juan Williams... unless he can swear to actually knowing the writer, made a statement on Fox News yesterday saying definitively that the NYT's "crap...anonymous "crap" piece was written by someone in the Trump administration. He should be fired if he does not reveal his source. All he has is the NYT's "word" about this, and the NYT's "word" is worthless.

---
A California DIMocrat (Swalwell) on the House Judiciary Committee was asked what he thought of Corey Booker's outburst..Swalwell eagerly responded that Booker "was just doing his job". If that's what DIMocrats believe... that being ...well..only one word really works... STUPID, there ought to be a law against STUPID.. as Ron White so noted, "You can't fix stupid".

---
You know...liberals are lucky a man like Brett Kavanaugh will become the next Supreme Court Justice. Lucky, because he won't be prejudiced by the cowardly Senate Committee room antics the DIMocrat Senators allow to happen.

---
From he "conflicted... what else can you call liberals?" department - You know.. the same liberals who squawk at mothers being separated from their children at the border would volunteer to drive an illegal alien pregnant woman to a Planned Parenthood Center to have her separated from her child.

---
Finally! CBS chair Les Moonves is OUT! The Board finally pushed him out for his hypocrisy by engaging in sexual harassment with his employees.. Of course this should have happened MONTHS ago, but I guess the Board needed time to pack his PLATINUM Parachute.

---
From the "and US DIMocrats jumped for joy" department - Online headline/story: "Israeli music scene jolted by international boycott movement * JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel's Meteor Festival was meant to bring together indie groups from around the world in what organizers billed as a Woodstock-like "cutting edge musical journey that surpasses borders and distorts time and space." * Instead, some 20 acts, including headliner Lana Del Rey, withdrew at the last minute amid apparent pressure from a Palestinian-led international boycott campaign." -- Once again.. how does the Jewish population of America,,, especially in NY, support the DIMocrat agenda?

---
Some disgruntled former White House employees, and 100% of MSM-13 are talking about some  "hashtag" address emulating from the White House.... #tfa.....the "disgruntles" say it stands for Twenty-Fifth-Amendment... but we know better... #tfa... Trump For America!

---
M/C L-E headline: "Failing parts have left Government Center beloved fountain bone dry" -- How cryptic... this is how Columbus citizens feel about any emotions about Mayor Tom-LYING-son's last 4 months in office.... just bled dry...

---
As the classic song reminds us: "Monday, Monday.. so good to me" -- Yes, it's another Monday, and another Monday that Zeph Baker hasn't turned in his Campaign Disclosures, Amy Bryan hasn't taken down her "Elect Me" signs, and another Breakfast Club item to rehash...

---
Interesting.. North Korea had it's big parade and it highlighted new tanks, not new missiles.. Trump 2020!

The "Stand Up To Cancer" campaign is still bringing in the funds! How about a "Stand up to Nike" boycott, and bring it down! Nike Strik-ee!

Friday, September 7, 2018

From the "It's another 'nothingburger', please move on" department - Good grief... Corey Booker, DIM NY Senator, in a fit of "style vs function" made known the hours and hours of "research" he'd spent in digging into Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh's work history, and waved 1 dozen e-mails he was going to release despite Senate agreements not to do so.. Emboldened by the camera, he said he's take his medicine, then declared,, (in a very weak Kirk Douglas imitation, "“this is the closest I’ll get to an ‘I am Spartacus’ moment.”" Of course, there wasn't anything to see in those .. other than to show Booker's and the DIMocrats' irrelevance, so....instead of "Spartacus",how about we restate Senator Booker's shout out as "I am Spare US Please".

---
You know, listening to the DIMocrats brag about how much time and effort they've given to trying to find dirt on Nominee Kavanaugh makes you wonder that if they devoted that kind of diligence and effort in making this country great, then Trump would never have HAD to run for the presidency.

---
We're beginning to see more clearly why the DIMocrats really don't accomplish much when they are in power of either or both chambers of Congress. By the looks..and sounds..of the protesters, it's obvious UpChuck Schumer doesn't know how to organize or present a dissenting view in a manner that encourages discussion or compromise to both sides.

---
After listening to Senator Leahy's concerns about whether Kavanaugh received "stolen/hacked" files of his. Senator Leahy should more concerned about what he wrote thinking nobody would see them.

---
It's quite ironic that certain judiciary committee members have a name plate in front of the proclaiming "Ranking Member"..After listening to some of their inane comments and questions, it would seem more accurate those name plates be altered to "Rank Member"

Liberals are so comfortable with just deciding to change their gender, and occasionally their race, by declaration...but what have they accomplished..gained? In reality, nothing... Of course, they could make another declaration that would help them...just declare themselves conservatives/Republicans when they go to the ballot boxes.

---
You know, it seems counterproductive for obviously unqualified people parsing the constitution to question the obviously well qualified SCOTUS nominee.

---
It would take an amendment to alter completely the process of "Advise and Consent" by the Senate in relation to accepting a Presidential Supreme Court nominee, but it seems a new step could be added that make the process better.. before a nominee is submitted to committee review, let there be a session by the sitting Supreme Court judges to either express their individual non-binding opinion about the qualification and worthiness of the potential new Justice. The Senators and the country would benefit.

Online headline: "Kavanaugh hearings, Times op-ed, Woodward book make it official -- Washington elites have gone mad" -- My one word confirmation....AMEN!

Hmmm..you know if Nike wanted to demonstrate 'sacrifice' , it should make Pat Tillman's face and patriotism as it's image.. and if Nike wanted to EXEMPLIFY sacrifice, it should have put Jesus there.

M/C L-E "headLIE": "Columbus molester in sex slave case gets harshest sentence" * BY CHUCK WILLIAMS * chwilliams@ledger-enquirer.com" -- "harshest sentence".. I ask.. did UpChunky Williams ask the victim which she thought was most "harsh"... the sentence of the woman or what the woman did to her?

---
From the "sacrifice? what sacrifice?" department - Online headline: "Among Eagles and Falcons players, only Michael Bennett takes a seat during anthem" -- Guess there had to be one that didn't fully realize "he'd been had"...Guess the NFL Players' ASSociation leaders are kicking themselves right now.. having supported.. blindly, I might add, KaeperPRICK's "plight". This week, not only have they found out KaeperPRICK rejected a $7 MILLION Dollar contract with Denver, but he has wrangled a multi-ka-jillion dollar contract from Nike, and he doesn't even have to "sacrifice his body" on the field to collect it. Let The Boycott continue!!

-----------------------------------------------------------
From the "knee to Nike groin" department - It's said that 'one picture is worth a 1000 words".. here's one that speaks VOLUMES!

-------------------------------------------------
M/C L-E "headline/story: "Grant promotes STEM access * $3 million grant to help CSU prepare more minorities for STEM careers * The National Science Foundation has awarded Columbus State University a $3 million grant to lead a regional effort to prepare more underrepresented minority undergraduate students for careers in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering and math." -- Good grief.. If I were a "minority", I would resent being held up as less deserving on my own merits! Wait a minute... I have over 400 known years of Latino ancestry in my DNA.."I AM A Minority", and would be offended if I was granted scholarship money.. on that basis alone... what if I booted another "minority" student off "the list"? What if I booted a more qualified "non-minority" student out of consideration.. When will liberals stop trying to fix things that aren't really broken... or in the best interests of those most deserving?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Mayor: Atlanta to stop holding federal detainees in its jail" -- Hmmm... since so much of the US Constitution is being parsed (whether correctly or not) by DIMocrats in the Senate Judiciary Committee vetting of Brett Kavanaugh, this is a good question to ask... has the DIMocrat agenda broken down so much that even a DIMocrat Mayor feels she can overrule the 9th and 10th Amendments since she disagrees with the federal government?

---
I tell you what, the quickest way to rid our government of DIMocrats in Congress might be to tape DIMocrat Senators and/or Representatives involved in questioning Trump employees and appointments. Put them under oath, and file perjury charges when they make lying innuendos/facts in the form of inquisition questions?

M/C L-E headline/story: "Data show big let-up in ACA premiums * Millions of people covered under the Affordable Care Act will see only modest premium increases next year, and some will get a price cut. That’s the conclusion from an exclusive analysis of the besieged but resilient program, which still sparks deep divisions heading into this year’s midterm elections." -- What I see is "damage control" by Obama appointees. What we see is due to the fact that no one else will be fined for not buying OObamaCRAP, and the free market environment making insurance more competitive... and competitive is not something any non-military US program is capable of.. it's not just healthcare, but welfare, the USPS, et al..

Did you see/hear about the anonymous 'editorial' the New York Times ran yesterday...how cowardly.. to print ....basically....CRAP and call it journalism...the slogan the NYT use to use..."all the news that's fit to print" has been defiled...now it should be "all.. ONLY.. the news that's s*** to print "

---
I listened to a Massachusetts DIMocrat running for the District Attorneys office about saving money by not making arrests or incarcerating non-violent petty criminals. This is how libs feel their way through problems...No thought is given to how much it will cost in time, as well as dollars, for the police to answer calls for the same criminals constantly committing petty crimes they already know they're not going to be arrested for committing.

From the "is this all liberals do... finds ways to make "animals" the victims" department - Online headline/story: "Cruz biological mother's past a factor in school shooting * The extensive criminal and drug abuse history of Parkland school suspect Nikolas Cruz's biological mother could be a key factor in whether he is sentenced to die for the massacre that killed 17 people, legal experts and officials say. * The mother, 62-year-old Brenda Woodard, played no role in Cruz's upbringing after giving him up for adoption after he was born. But her past, which included a crack cocaine purchase arrest while she was pregnant with Cruz, will almost certainly be brought up for a jury considering whether he should live or die." -- Good grief... she's dead.. he's had time to detox... he aimed and pulled the trigger on a gun he bought..... If there's any connection to his mother's past, then the jury should make expeditious efforts to reunite them in hell so she can apologize to him.. and vice versa!

From the "is this how liberals send a message to stop violence" department - Online headline/story: "Virginia man convicted of slugging white supremacist who organized deadly Charlottesville rally fined $1 * A Virginia man who prosecutors say was seen on video slugging white supremacist Jason Kessler one day after last year's deadly rally in Charlottesville was slapped with a $1 fine on Tuesday. * Jeffrey Winder was convicted of misdemeanor assault and battery for a second time during an appeal trial and faced up to 12 months in jail and $2,500 in fines. * However, a jury in Charlottesville decided the $1 fine and no jail time was enough" -- Hmmm.. a $1.00 fine for assault and battery... INTENTIONAL ASSAULT and BATTERY...Can you imagine the same jury would have only fined the victim a dollar if the scene was reversed.. This verdict should be overturned pronto as a civil rights violation... and the judge that accepted the jury's verdict should be recalled/impeached immediately!

From the "when will it stop" department -- Online headline: "New book to detail Trump's travails on the golf course" -- You know, any body can can write trash and call it a "book", but it takes talent to write an interesting account of the successes of a man. Obviously this this sports reporter is not a talented writer...I guess his sequel will be "Trump's stance in Port-A Potty Stinks"

We have reached a point that politics is not about issues of our nation, but issues defined by politicians. One group is favor of the laws as written by Congress, signed by a president, and confirmed over time by the Supreme Court, but then we have another group that feels the provisions of the Founding Fathers to enforce and change laws should be overruled by the whim of whomever disagrees with one, and judges..particularly, lower court judges should have the right to overrule a law based on their political agenda.
We have a truly Constitutional crisis on our hands that needs to be righted back on the track handed to us by our Founding Fathers.

Online story: "Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh said it was like a “gut punch” when he learned about the numerous sexual misconduct allegations levied against Judge Alex Kozinski, one of his former mentors, by numerous women." -- As sad a situation this has become, wearing a robe does not make a judge impervious to weakness. Here in Columbus many years ago, when I was recycled (post divorce), I dated (but not at the same time) two women who related their experiences with a local judge who was hearing their cases, and both said he had implied their situations would improve if they went off with him for a weekend. A week or so later, I ran into him and had a few moments of privacy in which I expressed my disappointment with what I heard, and since I was in the same dating arena, and if I heard of a third woman he tried to compromise, I would make sure he would be exposed. He was obviously shaken so I don't think he ever did it again but it really upset me that he had done such in the past.

Before Kavanaugh's vetting by the Senate Judiciary, I only had snippets of his qualifications and the word of other politicians as to his strengths. Well, I tell you what, after listening to his words and responses for two days, I have really been impressed with his patience, delivery, and his abilities to address Senators' issues.. real or imagined.. head on.

Had a FB respondent..liberal..discussing 'discussing'. She summed up her stance by saying she enjoyed such because it gave her an opportunity to express her side so others would change their mind. I asked her if she realized that accomplishing such depended more on her LISTENING than lecturing. She didn't respond at all.

---
One thing for certain is that DIMocrats asking Kavanaugh questions showed how closed minded...simple minded...single issue minded... they feel their voter base is. Sadly, not many of their database will watch and see for themselves how DIMocrats really feel about them.

---
How do graduates from colleges who block conservative ideas and speakers assimilate into society at work or in social ventures?

---
Online headline: "Hillary Clinton trolls Brett Kavanaugh as hearings launch: He will 'help gut or overturn Roe v. Wade' -- You know, my only regrets on Roe v. Wade are that it wasn't approved prior to Hellary's mother having a 'choice', and that it's currently being abused by liberals to support infanticide via 'partial birth abortions.

---
Sen Leahy .. along with Bernie, perhaps should be the new Image of the DIMocrats..a set of Vermont Senatorial bookends showing he and Bernie pushing against a pimple on the rump of a donkey. Leahy asked Kavanaugh whether if he'd wrongly received an e-mail from a Mr Miranda that originated from a DIMocrat computer...Kavanaugh politely dismissed it as questionable. I think I would have replied that "if I was on that e-mail list, it probably went to SPAM .. you pompous Jackass". (I'm pretty sure this will reappear if I were ever nominated for a SCOTUS seat... and I would proudly confirm it!)

In yesterday's M/C L-E, there was a story on the fatal school bus accident here in Muscogee County.. We could solve two big problems with one decision.. let's eliminate most busing.. the savings would be tremendous, but getting more parents more involved with their children's education would have an even bigger impact.

From the "Hey, NFL kneelers.. this is the reality of what you're protesting" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Benning soldier dies from apparent insider attack * A Fort Benning soldier assigned to the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade died Monday of wounds sustained during an attack in Logar Province, Afghanistan, the Department of Defense announced Tuesday. * Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy Allen Bolyard, 42, of Thornton, West Virginia, died of small arms fire in an apparent insider attack while supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel as a member of the 3rd Squadron, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade. The shooting remains under investigation." -- Hey NFL kneelers.. you're not showing support for KaeperPRICK... you're not showing disrespect for for law enforcement doing their duty to "serve and protect"... you're telling the family of CSM Timothy Allen Bolyard that his life was meaningless. Maybe Nike NEEDS put it's "swoop" on your "DEPENDS" jock straps. To the Bolyard family.. many more million s of patriotic Americans will shun the NFL games than will watch it.. may God's peace be with you.

Welcome back Richard.. but I do think more information about salary should have been included in this announcement.. Such as at what salary and what did previous "chiefs-of-staff" make?

---
M/C headline: "Facebook, Twitter pledge to defend on foreign intrusion" -- While I do not have a "twitter" account, I do wish FaceBook would pledge to defend my, and everybody else's posts from being challenged as their "community" health.... I stand by my postings and I learn a lot about others from their postings..I can block/disregard all those I think truly offensive, and expose them for what they are.

M/C L-E guest editorial commentary headLIE: "No excuse for Trump’s behavior toward McCain * BY MARC A. THIESSEN * Special to The Washington Post" -- Wrong.. Trump has had every right to deg-fend himself, and it was McCain that folded under pressure at the end.. NO, it's not the "NO" vote on OObamaCRAP I'm talking about, but McCain's pettiness .. and lack of forgiveness prior to his passing that will haunt his legacy.

---
Why is it that DIMocrats are wanting to entice.. trip up..Judge Kavanaugh into speaking up about what he would do in "what if" situations.. stating his opinion on a "what if" case would be justification to not approve him because it would show he's not going to wait for the reality of evidence.

M/C L-E headline/story: "WHITE WATER CLASSIC RETURNS * the 2018 White Water Classic football game to be played this Saturday at Garrett-Harrison Stadium in Phenix City." --
Hmm... sorta like a Br'er Rabbit fable.. Columbus forked out the dough, and Phenix City is taking the Bread out of the oven.

From the "bias? what bias" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Canada’s strong-willed foreign minister leads trade talks * Recruited into politics by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Freeland has already clashed with Russia and Saudi Arabia. Those who know her say she’s unlikely to back down in a confrontation with Trump." -- "she’s unlikely to back down in a confrontation with Trump."? Good grief.. Rob Gillies of the ASSociated Press must never have played a hand of straight poker... people who hold a pair of deuces can't bluff another holding 4-aces or a straight flush.
