Did you see/hear about the anonymous 'editorial' the New York Times ran yesterday...how cowardly.. to print ....basically....CRAP and call it journalism...the slogan the NYT use to use..."all the news that's fit to print" has been defiled...now it should be "all.. ONLY.. the news that's s*** to print "

I listened to a Massachusetts DIMocrat running for the District Attorneys office about saving money by not making arrests or incarcerating non-violent petty criminals. This is how libs feel their way through problems...No thought is given to how much it will cost in time, as well as dollars, for the police to answer calls for the same criminals constantly committing petty crimes they already know they're not going to be arrested for committing.

From the "is this all liberals do... finds ways to make "animals" the victims" department - Online headline/story: "Cruz biological mother's past a factor in school shooting * The extensive criminal and drug abuse history of Parkland school suspect Nikolas Cruz's biological mother could be a key factor in whether he is sentenced to die for the massacre that killed 17 people, legal experts and officials say. * The mother, 62-year-old Brenda Woodard, played no role in Cruz's upbringing after giving him up for adoption after he was born. But her past, which included a crack cocaine purchase arrest while she was pregnant with Cruz, will almost certainly be brought up for a jury considering whether he should live or die." -- Good grief... she's dead.. he's had time to detox... he aimed and pulled the trigger on a gun he bought..... If there's any connection to his mother's past, then the jury should make expeditious efforts to reunite them in hell so she can apologize to him.. and vice versa!

From the "is this how liberals send a message to stop violence" department - Online headline/story: "Virginia man convicted of slugging white supremacist who organized deadly Charlottesville rally fined $1 * A Virginia man who prosecutors say was seen on video slugging white supremacist Jason Kessler one day after last year's deadly rally in Charlottesville was slapped with a $1 fine on Tuesday. * Jeffrey Winder was convicted of misdemeanor assault and battery for a second time during an appeal trial and faced up to 12 months in jail and $2,500 in fines. * However, a jury in Charlottesville decided the $1 fine and no jail time was enough" -- Hmmm.. a $1.00 fine for assault and battery... INTENTIONAL ASSAULT and BATTERY...Can you imagine the same jury would have only fined the victim a dollar if the scene was reversed.. This verdict should be overturned pronto as a civil rights violation... and the judge that accepted the jury's verdict should be recalled/impeached immediately!

From the "when will it stop" department -- Online headline: "New book to detail Trump's travails on the golf course" -- You know, any body can can write trash and call it a "book", but it takes talent to write an interesting account of the successes of a man. Obviously this this sports reporter is not a talented writer...I guess his sequel will be "Trump's stance in Port-A Potty Stinks"

We have reached a point that politics is not about issues of our nation, but issues defined by politicians. One group is favor of the laws as written by Congress, signed by a president, and confirmed over time by the Supreme Court, but then we have another group that feels the provisions of the Founding Fathers to enforce and change laws should be overruled by the whim of whomever disagrees with one, and judges..particularly, lower court judges should have the right to overrule a law based on their political agenda.

We have a truly Constitutional crisis on our hands that needs to be righted back on the track handed to us by our Founding Fathers.

Online story: "Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh said it was like a “gut punch” when he learned about the numerous sexual misconduct allegations levied against Judge Alex Kozinski, one of his former mentors, by numerous women." -- As sad a situation this has become, wearing a robe does not make a judge impervious to weakness. Here in Columbus many years ago, when I was recycled (post divorce), I dated (but not at the same time) two women who related their experiences with a local judge who was hearing their cases, and both said he had implied their situations would improve if they went off with him for a weekend. A week or so later, I ran into him and had a few moments of privacy in which I expressed my disappointment with what I heard, and since I was in the same dating arena, and if I heard of a third woman he tried to compromise, I would make sure he would be exposed. He was obviously shaken so I don't think he ever did it again but it really upset me that he had done such in the past.

Before Kavanaugh's vetting by the Senate Judiciary, I only had snippets of his qualifications and the word of other politicians as to his strengths. Well, I tell you what, after listening to his words and responses for two days, I have really been impressed with his patience, delivery, and his abilities to address Senators' issues.. real or imagined.. head on.

Had a FB respondent..liberal..discussing 'discussing'. She summed up her stance by saying she enjoyed such because it gave her an opportunity to express her side so others would change their mind. I asked her if she realized that accomplishing such depended more on her LISTENING than lecturing. She didn't respond at all.

One thing for certain is that DIMocrats asking Kavanaugh questions showed how closed minded...simple minded...single issue minded... they feel their voter base is. Sadly, not many of their database will watch and see for themselves how DIMocrats really feel about them.

Online headline: "Hillary Clinton trolls Brett Kavanaugh as hearings launch: He will 'help gut or overturn Roe v. Wade' -- You know, my only regrets on Roe v. Wade are that it wasn't approved prior to Hellary's mother having a 'choice', and that it's currently being abused by liberals to support infanticide via 'partial birth abortions.

Sen Leahy .. along with Bernie, perhaps should be the new Image of the DIMocrats..a set of Vermont Senatorial bookends showing he and Bernie pushing against a pimple on the rump of a donkey. Leahy asked Kavanaugh whether if he'd wrongly received an e-mail from a Mr Miranda that originated from a DIMocrat computer...Kavanaugh politely dismissed it as questionable. I think I would have replied that "if I was on that e-mail list, it probably went to SPAM .. you pompous Jackass". (I'm pretty sure this will reappear if I were ever nominated for a SCOTUS seat... and I would proudly confirm it!)

In yesterday's M/C L-E, there was a story on the fatal school bus accident here in Muscogee County.. We could solve two big problems with one decision.. let's eliminate most busing.. the savings would be tremendous, but getting more parents more involved with their children's education would have an even bigger impact.

Maj. Timothy Allen Bolyard, 42, of Thornton, West Virginia, died of small arms fire in an apparent insider attack while supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel as a member of the 3rd Squadron, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade. The shooting remains under investigation." -- Hey NFL kneelers.. you're not showing support for KaeperPRICK... you're not showing disrespect for for law enforcement doing their duty to "serve and protect"... you're telling the family of CSM Timothy Allen Bolyard that his life was meaningless. Maybe Nike NEEDS put it's "swoop" on your "DEPENDS" jock straps. To the Bolyard family.. many more million s of patriotic Americans will shun the NFL games than will watch it.. may God's peace be with you.

Welcome back Richard.. but I do think more information about salary should have been included in this announcement.. Such as at what salary and what did previous "chiefs-of-staff" make?

I stand by my postings and I learn a lot about others from their postings..I can block/disregard all those I think truly offensive, and expose them for what they are.

M/C L-E guest editorial commentary headLIE: "No excuse for Trump’s behavior toward McCain * BY MARC A. THIESSEN * Special to The Washington Post" -- Wrong.. Trump has had every right to deg-fend himself, and it was McCain that folded under pressure at the end.. NO, it's not the "NO" vote on OObamaCRAP I'm talking about, but McCain's pettiness .. and lack of forgiveness prior to his passing that will haunt his legacy.

Why is it that DIMocrats are wanting to entice.. trip up..Judge Kavanaugh into speaking up about what he would do in "what if" situations.. stating his opinion on a "what if" case would be justification to not approve him because it would show he's not going to wait for the reality of evidence.
