From the "Talk about Quid Pro Quo" department - My BCers are the best...one just pointed out we should have most of the DemocRAT candidates charged by the Senate with egregious QUID PRO QUO! Their whole campaigns are based on quid pro quo...you vote for me, and I'll pay off your college student loans, and give you Medicare and make your parents, grandparents, and billionaires pay for it!

On the other hand.. and even Fox doesn't talk about this enough.. even at all.. but, even when Congress has authorized foreign aid disbursements, the president only has to send them by the last day of the Fiscal Year.. it's a bookkeeping issue as well.. and the last day of the Government's Fiscal Year is September 30 of that year. President Trump did his job!

---
Did you see the rally crowd at BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL.. The BB&T Center has a capacity of over 20,000! And the BB&T Center is in Broward County which went for Hellary in 2016.

---
Everyone pray for California this weekend.. 48 temporary Washington, DC resident DemocRATs will be returning to California. While the Street Departments are tending to the street excrement, no California city is prepared to cope with Congressman Fulla Schi** or the crap of 47 other DemocRAT turkeys will bring for Thanksgiving.

---
With all the issues at Ralston Towers affecting our city, I looked up ownership/tax information on Ralston Towers. I found out that the only tax revenues Columbus has received on an $8,000,000.00 property was $111,080.49 for 2014/15, and $59,724.89 over the last 8 years (with another $9,197.62 overdue for 2019. Those "foreign" NY owners need to be taught some basic principles of good citizenship and neighborliness as well as what human dignity should be.

---
The DemocRATs remind me of a professional sports program that has been poorly run and it's only focus is on "beating" someone else...they should be focusing on "winning", but unlike sports programs, the DemocRATs aren't willing to fire the current management team and get some folks in there who have the team's and players' best interests in heart. Oh! And it wouldn't hurt to fire a few Republicans either.

---
From the "This is what DemocRATs and media liberals in education have done to ruin our youth's future" department - Online story: "Melania Trump on Tuesday urged students at a youth summit to avoid misusing drugs, saying that would make it harder for them to achieve. * But her brief remarks at the event in Baltimore were met with cheers and boos from an audience of middle and high school students that remained noisy throughout her entire five-minute address." -- DemocRATs and MSM-13 have created massive disrespect for law and order and life and civility!

---
From the "real Creepy Joe" department - Online headline/story: "Joe Biden snaps at Fox News reporter over Hunter Biden question: 'Classy' * Joe Biden snapped at a Fox News reporter who asked about his son, Hunter's, latest scandal. * Peter Doocy asked Biden to comment on an Arkansas woman's recent court filing in which she claims that a paternity test proved that Hunter is indeed the biological father of her child, despite his multiple denials. * "I’m wondering if you have a comment on this report, and court filing, out of Arkansas that your son Hunter just made you a grandfather again," Doocy asked." -- Hmmm--- you know... this really reveals Joe Biden... because it might be embarrassing, Creepy Joe just denied what could be he own flesh and blood. Biden has the compassion of a block of ice.

---
From the "Hey, Redford, step up to the plate!" department - Robert Redford: Trump's monarchy in disguise is an attack on everything we stand for * . As last week’s impeachment hearings made clear, our shared tolerance and respect for the truth, our sacred rule of law, our essential freedom of the press and our precious freedoms of speech — all have been threatened by a single man. * Our shared tolerance and respect for the truth, our sacred rule of law, our essential freedom of the press and our precious freedoms of speech — all have been threatened by a single man. * It’s time for Trump to go — along with those in Congress who have chosen party loyalty over their oath to “solemnly affirm” their support for the Constitution of the United States. And it’s up to us to make that happen, through the power of our votes." -- You know, if you insert Congressman Schi**'s name where President Trump is mentioned, you would get the real truth... but if Redford sincerely feels this way, then he should take the market gains he's experienced under the Trump economy and donate all of them to inner City social needs ... and include a "you should thank President Trump" message with them.

---
From the "who's the REAL fake, De Niro?" department - Robert Di Niro went on record.. ", calling him a "fake president." * "He calls everything fake because he knows he's fake. So he's projecting." -- How interesting.. here's a man who never has made a living playing himself.... who's the real FAKE!

---
Online headline: "City councilman requests proposals for $1 million in traffic improvements" -- Oooops, my bad... it's one from Atlanta... not Columbus...

---
Hmmm.. "According to a new report by the League of American Bicyclists, Georgia ranks No. 19 on the nationwide list of the most bike-friendly states. " Unfortunately, Columbus has contributed more to this than having car-friendly streets.

---
Online headline: "House Dem now sees no 'value' in impeachment, as polls show falling support among independents" -- I tell you what...if the DemocRATs try to vote on a "censure" because it will end their impeachment failing in the Senate, then maybe some Republicans should vote FOR "impeachment" to make sure all the shenanigans of the House Dems will be exposed and their witnesses outed for conspiracy. The Republicans need to make sure "censure" IS NOT the end result as that will be what MSM-13 will blast the rest of Trump's 2 terms.

---
From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Columbus L-E guest commentary headline: "Don’t suppress the votes of new citizens * BY TERRI GERSTEIN * TRIBUNE NEWS SERVICE" -- You know.. there is no suppression of voting privileges for new American citizens.. but there is a need to assure existing American citizens that their votes are no diminished.

---
From the "how to ruin a fair election" department - Columbus L-E headline/story: "HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL * Have your say, vote for Valley’s best player in Week * Who should be crowned player of the week? Have your say in our online poll at ledger-enquirer.com. Results will be published later this week on our Facebook page -- Typical MSM-13 election interference... it goes deeper than we thought.. why should unknowledgeable people be encouraged... ALLOWED.. to alter the results that should be limited to voters who have been interested all along with the local football programs.. guess MSM-13 is just so use to wanting voters to elect politicians they know nothing about, that MSM-13 just has to try to influence all other elections as well.

---
You know.. Columbus is about to undergo a pertinent news "black out" in the next few weeks... the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer is "toast" as being a watch dog for the citizens of Columbus, the WRBL team has acquired former L-E-er UPChuck, so not much help there, and WTVM's Chuck is retiring  at the end of the year...so Council and the MCSD/MCSB press releases will be about as deep as we can expect to get the truth.

---
Well, Gobble Gobble! Best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and weekend, and we'll all gather again for the next Breakfast Club rendition next month (Weekend Update on Monday!)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

From the "Bias? What Bias?" department - MSM-13 story: "- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday gave President Donald Trump a boost by extending its hold on a lower court ruling that required his longtime accounting firm to hand over his financial records to a Democratic-led House of Representatives committee." -- Good grief! MSM-13 makes it sound like the US Supreme Court number one job is protecting President Trump.. what's happened is the US Supreme Court has protected EVERY US citizen from the ravage of select out-of-control, power-hungry politicians with an agenda.

---
It's almost comical for the DemocRAT candidates to gripe about Bloomberg spending millions of his own money on advertising to get elected, but "they" have no problem using the promise of spending TRILLIONS of dollars of other people's money in order to get elected.

---
The holdover DemocRATic presidential wannabes are up in arms about billionaires trying to buy the nomination. I have one question to ask those non-billionaire politicians who have enriched themselves without building a business that creates prosperity for our nation and other citizens: "What experience do you have that shows America you have any skills that can help the economy actually grow/improve?"

---
You know..with as splintered as the support of any of the DemocRAT presidential wannabes has been, it's going to be interesting how many DemocRATs will actually support the last "man" standing.

---
Online headline: "Graham says he loves Joe Biden 'as a person,' but Hunter Biden's Burisma work 'doesn’t pass the smell test'" -- Hmmm.. doesn't "pass the smell test"? Well, it's rare anyone "passes gas" that goes undetected...

---
Richard Spencer...Secretary of Navy ...resigned/got fired... whatever....because he felt he couldn't rely on "the chain of command" .... Huh? ..I think he got fired because HE circumvented the chain of command!

---
What is it with MSM-13? A convicted killer's attorneys can make an appeal on a "technicality", and MSM-13 will describe the convicted person as "alleged". BUT when Clinton connected people like Epstein and Vince Foster are found dead without actually witnesses, MSM-13 never injects anything but "suicide" into the reports.

---
From the "let me be the first to defend our president" department - Online headline: "John Legend calls on Trump to be removed from office: 'The President is a cancer'" -- Hmm.. well, since President Trump is too busy to pop every pimple, I'll do this one for him.. talented or not, John Legend is a parasitic a-hole!

---
Shicago police just announced they have removed over 10,000 illegal guns off their streets this year. Hmmm..for a City in which ..basically...ALL non-law enforcement guns already are illegal, this just shows that if you make it illegal for law-abiding citizens to own guns, only criminals will possess guns.

---
The "climate change" protesters at the Yale-Harvard game halftime created another huge oxymoron situation... Yale and Harvard alumni being PO'd at their Harvard and Yale children/students.

---
Online "headlie": "Proposed shelter for immigrant children goes to Marietta City Council" -- Good grief... these are NOT "immigrants", they are illegal aliens.. obviously without documented parents.. and should not be removed far from the border. What we have here is a business wolf veiled in a "charity sheepskin" to collect government fees per child.

---
From the "maybe I can get that class I have a test scheduled today canceled" department - Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline/story: "Columbus schools launch safety system to report tip * It’s now easier for anyone to notify the Muscogee County School District about safety concerns involving Columbus public schools. * Through a national service called SafeSchools Alert, MCSD launched the new system that allows reports to be submitted multiple ways anywhere and anytime. The reports are submitted anonymously." -- Good grief.. with students ALLOWED to carry their phones at school, and have the ability to "prank" anonymously.. I'm going to bet there will be more "pranks, hearsay and nuisance" reports than helpful ones. Maybe we can get Congressman A Dam Schi** to call witnesses during any investigations.. Even worse.. is taxpayers are PAYING for this!

---
From the "jury fail!" department - Columbus L-E story concerning subsequent crimes : "Phenix City police charged Robert Allen Earhart Jr with murder in the Jan. 17 death of his infant daughter Alaina Addison Brodka, who an autopsy showed died from blunt-force head trauma, authorities said. * The girl was fatally injured at Steeple Crest Apartments, on Riverchase Drive in the Lee County portion of Phenix City, so Earhart in 2017 went to trial before a Lee County jury in Opelika, where he was convicted only of negligent homicide, a misdemeanor. * He faced a year in jail, but soon was freed with credit for the time he served awaiting trial" -- How can anyone on jury feel an adult in charge of an infant who is killed be charged with a misdemeanor?

Monday, November 25, 2019

Let's start this week off right: Online headline/link: "Newt Gingrich: First Thanksgiving wasn’t like what you were taught in school – Here’s the true story:

---
Online headline: "Who has more to fear from Bloomberg: The Democrats or Trump?" -- Hmmm... sounds like America.. especially small business America and law abiding citizens have the most to fear! Bloomberg has a policy of switching positions whenever he feels it benefits him Was a DemocRAT before he ran for Mayor of NYC as a Republican, the switched back after his first re-election, and most recently, he bragged about the many lives of young blacks and Latinos saved on the streets of NYC with his "stop and frisk" policy as a Republican, then APOLOGIZED for that same policy for saving those same lives as a DemocRAT.

---
Online headline/story: "White son of police officer surrenders in the shooting death of beloved black Alabama sheriff * Lowndes County Sheriff John Williams was responding to a call from a convenience store owner that needed assistance dispersing a crowd loitering in front of the store. Williams was shot when he attempted to approach a pickup truck that was playing loud music. The sheriff left behind a wife and children. * Johnson is from Montgomery and the son of a law enforcement officer; he also has a criminal history that includes his August charge for being in possession of brass knuckles and being a minor in possession of alcohol. Those charges were later dismissed." -- Excuse me, but does the killer being white make this more of a tragedy .. more of an injustice... than if the killer had not been white? The sheriff was obviously a good man, and the killer a sorry human being.

---
Poop Francis...what an aberration to the sanctity of the Catholic Church... he said this weekend that war weapons were immoral...on the other hand, he doesn't feel abortions of fetuses is immoral.

---
Hey, DemocRAT voter base, take a look at Venezuela and Iran.. this is what happens when the "more equals" run out of other people's money to spend on the not-quite-as-equals.. this is what the all DemocRAT candidates want for the rest of us.

---
From the "Misdirection bias? What misdirection bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Andrew McCarthy: How significant is report on FBI surveillance of Trump campaign aide? * CNN reports that an FBI attorney tampered with documents related to the Carter Page application. How much does it matter? * A low-ranking FBI lawyer altered a document that was somehow related to the Obama Justice Department’s application to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) for a national-security surveillance warrant. The application, approved by the FISC in October 2016, targeted former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page — an American citizen, former naval intelligence officer, and apparent FBI cooperating witness — as a clandestine agent of Russia. * Apparently, the document tampering made at least one of the application’s factual assertions seem more damning than it actually was. The FBI attorney, who has not been identified, is also said to have falsified an email in an effort to provide back-up support for the fabricated claim. The lawyer, who was reportedly pushed out of the bureau when the tampering incident came to light, was interviewed in Horowitz’s inquiry and is said to be a subject of the related criminal investigation being conducted by Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham." -- Good grief! The fact that it was a lawyer at any level is huge! He/she KNEW the direction of his actions.. and the consequences were evil to the subject, the public's confidence in the FBI, and the lawyer's future. There is NOTHING insignificant about this... especially any media attempt to downplay it!

---
We are winning! Winning as the NFL winnows.. Tickets for the Washington-Detroit game can be bought for $12.00 which is less than a lot of tickets for "Frozen 2".

---
You know.. DemocRAT California Congressman Eric Smalwell was pretty much a "smartass" when he was "passing gas" running as a hopeful for the 2020 DemocRAT presidential nominee, but now he's sealed his legacy.. He was "straining" at a question from Chris "the tingle" Matthews when "cannonous" noise erupted. It was also the most intelligent "statement" of the interview.. Though with luck, California may replace him, but should he reappear in the public eye, we should address the Congressman appropriately.. Eric FARTwell, D-CA.

---
After more consideration of Tesla's new Cybertruck, I have a second thought...originally, my immediate thought was it looked like a sequel to "Back to the Future". Now I think a better name is "Back to the Drawing Board".

---
Good grief! Lyndon B. Johnson's biggest war loss was his "War on Poverty" ..over $22 Trillion has been wasted on ill-conceived programs over the past 54 years, and now there is still poverty and a National.Debt of ...why aren't we surprised... $22 TRILLION!

---
From the "Hey, Congressman Schi**, why didn't you call this witness?" department - Online headline story: "Ukrainian to US prosecutors: Why don't you want our evidence on Democrats? * “We were supposed to share this information during a working trip to the United States,” Kulyk told me in a wide-ranging interview. “However, the [U.S.] ambassador blocked us from obtaining a visa. She didn’t explicitly deny our visa, but also didn’t give it to us.” -- "ambassador... SHE? Could "SHE" have been Yovanovitch?

---
Still researching a Washington Times story about Chick-fil-a CEO Tim Tassopoulos stating that Chick-fil-A will stop supporting the Salvation Army et al Christian organization. Franklin Graham posted he talked to Dan Cathey and Cathey said They will continue to support whoever they want to support. They haven’t changed who they are or what they believe. Chick-fil-A remains committed to Christian values. Now I'm going to be on the lookout for a denial FROM Tim Tassopoulos or confirmation from The Salvation Army.

---
Hmmm...Mattel is in the news... it just removed red and blue "Uno" cards to keep players from having "to deal" from a politically charged deck of cards. What's next...will the NFL make the New England Patriots change their name plus start wearing politically correct "gray scale" uniforms? Oh! How about Mattel calling Ken dolls "transgendered" as they have always been been surgically neutered.

---
You know, the DemocRATs are trying to convince themselves that VP Biden was only thinking about the American taxpayers when he threatened the former Ukraine president with reneging on US financial assistance unless the prosecutor was fired.. As I recall, it was about $1 BILLION in "loan guarantees". What do we know about the SOURCE of those loans, and whether another country "called in" the Obama/Biden "co-signed loans"?

---
From the "at least it's just ANOTHER "white lie" from Pocahontas Warren" - Department - Online headline/story: "Warren told pro-school-choice activist she sent her kids to public school, campaign says otherwise" -- Whew! Glad her staff cleared it up before the Cherokee Nation started referring to her as Princess Forked-Tongue!

---
Wow! Did you hear Creepy Joe Biden's pointed "he's going to regret it" threat aimed at Senator Graham because he's requested Biden-related documents from the Ukraine? Maybe Biden IS Fredo Cuomo's separated-at-birth twin.

---
Columbus L-E headline/story: "Pence makes surprise Thanksgiving trip to visit troops in Iraq * AL ASAD AIR BASE, IRAQ Vice President Mike Pence on an unannounced visit to Iraq told U.S. troops on Saturday that he wanted them to have a pay raise but Congress was engaged in “partisan politics” instead of doing its job." -- One thing for sure is our troops were delivered a better turkey for Thanksgiving by the Trump administration, than the DemocRATs delivered with Schi** and his impeachment disaster.

---
From the "maybe the Columbus L-E should rethink it's new "no Saturday edition" policy' department - Columbus L-E headLIE and "story": "Navy leaders stand ground in SEAL’s case * The secretary of the Navy and the admiral who leads the SEALs have threatened to resign or be fired if plans to expel a commando from the elite unit in a war crimes case are halted by President Donald Trump, administration officials said Saturday." -- Good grief! Is MORE fake/flake news going to be the direction of the L-E? If anyone of them worked on Saturday, they'd have KNOWN that the Secretary of the Navy vehemently DENIED should a statement! Haven't heard about any admirals, but expect to hear the same.

Monday AM update: Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer WAS fired Sunday by Secretary of Defense Mark Esper for reason following new disclosures.

---
Columbus L-E "commentary" headline/content: "LaGrange College professor covers Democratic Party debate * BY JOHN A. TURES * CORRESPONDENT * I was in Atlanta, covering the Democratic Party debate at Tyler Perry Studios in a sound stage packed with reporters and broadcasters." -- Good grief! Talk about being "outed" by one's bias! There was no one allowed at that DemocRATic Debacle site other than avowed socialist!

---
From the "poll truth... nothing.. absolutely NOTHING but the poll truth" department - MSM-13 online headline/story: "In new Yahoo News/YouGov poll, most voters think Trump committed abuses — but are split on impeachment * When asked to say whether they believe Trump did or did not commit specific acts in connection with Ukraine — the subject of the House impeachment inquiry — 58 percent of registered voters said they believe the president “asked a foreign leader to investigate a political opponent”; 51 percent said they believe he “withheld military aid to Ukraine until they agreed to conduct the investigations he wanted”; and 51 percent said they believe he “abused his powers as president.” * These results suggest that a majority of registered voters have been largely convinced by the case House Democrats are making in Washington: that Trump pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son by using nearly $400 million in military assistance as a quid pro quo — and that he overstepped the bounds of the presidency in the process. " -- "These results suggest"?Good grief.. "suggests"? This whole "abortion" has been built on "presumptions... "assumptions" and "hearsay"... and now "suggestions", yet no evidence of such exists.. Our president has done what he promised.. "Make America Great Again" and "Draining the Swamp", and that includes getting the American citizens the best value on foreign aid to our allies, and ending corruption from our elected officials. By his OWN admission, Joe Biden is the only one guilty of the accusations aimed at President Trump!

---
You know, President Trump could probably be guilty if something, but Congresspersons Schi**, PeLOUSY, and Farquaad Nadler are such unsympathetic people that no jury of American voters would believe them.

---
HuffPOOPOO "poop": "Two words described Joe Biden’s reaction to the news that old friend Lindsey Graham had launched an investigation of him and of his son Hunter’s work in Ukraine: “disappointed” and “angered.” * Graham’s investigation indulges an unsubstantiated right-wing theory that Biden pushed Ukraine to fire a prosecutor in order to shield Hunter, who was serving on the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company, at the time." -- 'Two words"? Well, I have TWO WORDS for Creepy Joe Biden... "YOU LIE!" By his OWN video-taped admission, Joe Biden is the only one guilty of the accusations aimed at President Trump!

---
Online headline/story: "Radar scans locate 145 graves on Florida high school campus * Nearly 150 unmarked graves were located on the grounds of a Florida high school, after the school board received a tip that the school's property was once used as a cemetery. * School officials believe the graves are part of the historic Ridgewood Cemetery, a forgotten one-acre paupers' burial ground used to primarily inter African Americans." -- Hmmm.. aren't grounds scanners wonderful.. here was a "forgotten" cemetery and now it's remembered.. Hmm.. didn't Columbus, GA do a ground scan on what was believed to be an early Columbus cemetery for slaves... but no indication of any burials was noted?

---
From online story: "(ex-Columbus mayor Teresa) Tomlinson told a group of reporters that her campaign will “take David Perdue head on with this stuff about socialism.”Bolstering her defense while also highlighting her credentials, she said, “There’s no way the people of Columbus, Georgia, twice elected a socialist mayor.” -- Good grief.. is there anything Tom-LYING-son will speak the truth about? Her first election she had the major financial and racial backers wrapped up and a far from stellar opponent list, and her second term major opponent basically wrapped himself up in living and work scandals.

---
WRBL 3 headline: "Synovus eliminates 40-50 jobs, some of them in Columbus" -- Hmmm.. not so Merry Christmas for all.....

You know.. If there's anything to be "glad" about this Chuck Williams' story is that it's not in the Columbus L-E.. the headline there would probably be something like, "Synovus surprises some workers with unexpected time off for family holiday events"

---
Even though he's been kicked out of the Palace and is being ostracized by the Queen Mum et al, I'm betting Prince Andrew will not volunteer to coming to NY to talk with the FBI about Epstein... since Epstein's death has been listed as a suicide, and NY is the stomping grounds of the Clintons, why would Prince Andrew make himself convenient to the Clintons?

---
DemocRAT Congresswoman Dingell of Michigan avoided telling a Fox anchor that she won't make her decision on impeachment until the House Judiciary Committee ..basically.. tells her HOW TO VOTE. It's a sad state when legislators are puppets to their Party leadership than representatives for their District's citizens.

---
Did you hear former DNC interim head Donna Brazile trying to defend the ultra low rating numbers of the DemocRATic Debacle held in Atlanta last week? She said everything but the truth..the truth is that even the DemocRAT voter base doesn't think any of those, or any lurking possibilities, has offered anything that will keep the social or economic successes advancing that Trump has added in just 3 years.

---
You know.. it's so sad to hear all the "plans" the DemocRATic Party candidates use in an attempt to buy voters, but it's even sadder for the voters who believe them. Truth is, NONE of the DemocRAT candidates have the ability.. the talent or the KNOW-HOW to implement those plans successfully.

---
Online story: "Abrams’ failed bid for the governor’s mansion was referenced multiple times by candidates on stage, who claimed Abrams would be governor if voting policies were different, what’s become a commonplace Georgia Democratic talking point." -- "if voting policies were different"? Yeah.. if people not recognized as qualified by the US and Georgia Constitutions were enabled to vote!

---
Columbus Ledger-Enquirer Saturday Online headline: "Columbus Airport to receive $3.5 million US grant" -- Hmmm.. just about about enough to build a Runway Roundabout..
Was surprised to actually see an Online e-Print Edition of a Saturday L-E since it was announced earlier this month that LAST Saturday would be the LAST print edition of a Saturday L-E.. While all three Front Page stories were legitimate for a change, ("Columbus-based Synovus lays off 40 to 50 employees", "Columbus Airport to receive $3.5 million US grant" and "Man suing Columbus over demolished trailer parks"), none of the ads nor any high school football was mentioned... Other than "no ads", nothing else changed.

---
It really is important that GA is "purging" registered voters who have been "inactive" for extended periods.. those names are known in local Boards of Election, and easy targets for fraud.

---
The NYC "kidnapping/human trafficking" ploy to remove homeless people from its area to others is hitting close to home.. now at least one such "transaction" has been discovered in Cobb County/Marietta, GA... Wonder how quickly Stacey Abrams got hem registered to vote?

---
Online story: "When Democratic presidential candidates came to Atlanta for the latest debate this week, several of them made stops at the city’s HBCUs. The 2020 candidates are vying for young African American voters to win the nomination and these students are a key target." -- Good grief! More DemocRAT "promises".. and we know how DemocRATs use "promises" to buy votes knowing those promises won't be kept.. On the pother hand. why isn't MSM-13 reporting what President Trump HAS ALREADY DONE for HBCUs?

---
Columbus L-E headline/story: "Schiff says additional hearings, witnesses possible * BY KEVIN FREKING * WASHINGTON Democratic House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said Sunday he won’t foreclose the possibility of his committee undertaking more depositions and hearings in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump." --
One thing not being discussed by any DemocRAT or MSM-13 is that no foreign aid payments authorized by Congress have to made at a certain time other than the "aid" must be dispensed before the end of the fiscal year they are approved ..September 30th is the last day of each US Government Fiscal Year. There was.. no IS any quid pro quo...

Oxymorons.. you know, the things that contradict themselves.. such as "Jumbo Shrimp" surround us in real life. Perhaps the definitive one has been created this year.. "Democratic House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff ". "Jumbo Shrimp" is a non-starter when compared to any inclusion of "Intelligence and Schiff" in anything.

Friday, November 22, 2019

Soft-peddled online headline/story: "A former FBI staffer is reportedly being investigated over an altered document in the Russia probe * The staffer, a former FBI lawyer, is now under criminal investigation, according to CNN. -- Whoa! "staffer"? It's a little more complex than just a "staffer" when the staffer is actually a lawyer... A lawyer KNOWS when he/she is manipulating facts, and KNOWS the consequences.. This cannot be a situation of "I didn't know what I was doing was wrong".

---
Online headline: "Tesla reveals Cybertruck, a 6-passenger pickup featuring 3 motors, armored glass, and up to 500 miles of range" -- "armored glass"? That fits.. rumor has it that the entire production has be pre-bought by Mexican cartels and Californian politicians.

---
From the "Fredo" department - Online headline: "CNN's Chris Cuomo mocked after attempt to disprove Trump's phone theory with call to mom fails" -- Wow! Another FREDO moment for Cuomo... you just can't make this stuff up!

---
In a nutshell...President Trump wanted to assure the new Ukrainian president was following through on his campaign promises to end corruption , and the DemocRATs want to cover up the corruption involving the previous Ukrainian president and former US VP Joe Biden. Hmmm...now who should be facing charges?

---
Hmmm...Congressman Fulla Schi** says all of Trumps actions are purely political..hmmm seems to me the whole DemocRATic Party's agenda is purely political.. but there is one big difference...President Trump is always putting America first!

Update on the Virginia College property the City is buying:
From Councilor John House: "This is the official answer: "Building is owned by 5601 VPCG LLC (the property arm of Virginia College) as the tenant under a bond lease with the Development Authority with the right to purchase. Purchase will result in no financial exchange between the city and the Development Authority." The city does not own the building. We are buying it to avoid future rent we have to pay because the State mandates that we provide space for the Department of Health. We will pay off the building in a few years and show an even greater savings for the taxpayers. We had to wait to tell everything due to the notifications required for the current lease. Please feel free to contact me directly at jmhouse6@gmail.com or house.john@columbusga.org.

My response back to Councilor House:
Considering all back taxes will be paid prior to closing.. and the City will get full possession of the building and the land, this is info we need... and deserve.. sounds like it may be one of the best y'all have come up with.. Now, keep the SPLOST requests just to solving the Government Center situation, and we may get our City back on track.. What we do not need is more negative-revenue-producing "wants" that inadequate maintenance drains the existing and foreseeable tax/fee revenue streams. Also.. in addition to keeping the wanted SPLOST request to JUST the Government Center issue, and NOT STARTING it until the T-SPLOST is completed, how about hiring a separate Architect to look over whichever Architect gets the project, and to be "on hand" to check the contractor's compliance with the re-checked plans, Seeing some of the issues that have come-up, I find it hard to believe that "code" was fully complied with when it was being built.

---
Councilman House added that Council has to be very careful not to build more things that the City can maintain. Apparently , Councilor Davis is thinking about that too.. But the reality is that: What we already HAVE is not properly maintained by the current revenue streams! The number one question has to be what are the predictable revenue streams 5. 10, 15 and 20 years down the road as current assets worsen, and new projects start deteriorating normally? I would love to see how much money has actually been spent maintaining the street in front of my house since 2000.. other than fixing A pothole at the path we had to travel in order to turn into our driveway, I cannot remember any other work being done, and I can see it affects the dollar value of our home downward.

Dr. Fiona Hill...maybe we should call her Dr. Flip-flop.. Now she claims that delaying military aid while the State Department ascertained assurances that Ukraine's president was following through with his campaign promises to rid the corruption was damaging to Ukraine, yet in 2015, she posted an op-ed commentary saying furnishing military aid to Ukraine would worsen issues for Europe with Russia...so Obama sent blankets instead instead of defensive arms.

---
Seeing as Congressman Fulla Schi** witness Dr Fiona Hill is a British citizen, shouldn't her "testimony" aimed at impeaching a US president be considered not only collusion, but foreign election interference/meddling?

---
From the "MSM-13 is as pathetic as Congressman Schi**'s impeachment witnesses" department - Online story: "President Donald Trump hosted a previously undisclosed dinner with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook board member Peter Thiel at the White House in October * “As is normal for a CEO of a major U.S. company, Mark accepted an invitation to have dinner with the President and First Lady at the White House,” a Facebook spokesperson said in an emailed statement. * It is unclear why the meeting was not made public or what Trump, Zuckerberg and Thiel discussed." -- Good grief! MSM-13 feels nothing in President Trump's life can be considered normal... what next.. MSM-13 files an "information request" for tapes of President Trump going to the bathroom?

---
I like Congressman Doug Collins...I think he stands up for his district, GEORGIA, America, and our President. I do not believe he's the one who should be appointed to replace Isakson. I don't believe his image is one that is electable statewide at this time.

---
You know, I use to respect Chris Wallace as a journalist. It's not that I agreed with him so much, but Wallace usually offered a reasonable difference of opinion....not so much since Shepard Smith left...now Wallace appears to lean further left like he feels he's going to give him an edge on landing that spot for himself.

---
From the "what does the ACLU stand for now?" department - Online headline: "ACLU says, ‘Men who get their periods are men. Men who get pregnant and give birth are men’" -- I do believe the ACLU has rewritten its name.. and mission.. It was founded as the "American Civil Liberties Union". but now, it seems to have devolved into the "Anti-Christian Liberal's Universe". The "men" this is about are self-transgendered females .

Who knew! All along, American football has a LGBTQ friendly sport...Linebackers, Guards, Backs, Tackles, Quarterbacks.

Columbus L-E story: "Fired Columbus Police Sgt. William Talley shot paramedic Kelly Levinsohn in the back of the head with a .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol May 11, before he wrecked her truck off Interstate 185 in Harris County and threatened suicide during an overnight standoff with police, authorities say. * Talley by law was entitled to a bond because he had been jailed more than 90 days without indictment. He was placed under arrest May 12, while he still was in the hospital being treated for injuries from the truck crash off Interstate 185’s Exit 30. * On Nov. 1, Assistant District Attorney Robin King told McBride prosecutors had not submitted the case to a grand jury, because they had been awaiting the results of ballistics tests on the pistol, and those results had just come in. -- No indictment in 90 days because a key test takes nearly 6 MONTHS to process? How about more details! When did the DA REQUEST and submit the gun/bullet evidence for processing? What isn't the test facility held responsible for processing such vital evidence within a time frame that can be submitted to a Grand Jury within the 90 days required? Or, why hasn't the 90 day requirement been revised if processing cannot be done in that time frame?

---
From the "wait a minute.. do we hear the sound of sanity returning to CA?" department -
Columbus L-E headline/story: "Supreme Court rejects California law on tax returns * LOS ANGELES President Donald Trump does not have to disclose his tax returns to appear as a candidate on California’s primary ballot next spring, the state Supreme Court ruled unanimously Thursday. * “Ultimately, it is the voters who must decide whether the refusal of a ‘recognized candidate throughout the nation or throughout California for the office of President of the United States’ to make such information available to the public will have consequences at the ballot box,” Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye wrote in the 7-0 decision." This is a "Fred Sanford cry out to Elizabeth moment"! The California Supreme Court supported SANITY with a 7-0 decision!

---
Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline: "Democratic debate in Atlanta breaks the mold" -- "breaks the mold"? The little bit I saw looked like it was mold-encrusted.

---
Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline/story: "EPA prosecutions, convictions of polluters at quarter-century lows * EPA prosecutions, convictions of polluters at quarter-century lows * The Trump EPA says its emphasis is on working with polluters to bring them into compliance with public health and environmental protections but that it prosecutes when necessary." -- You know, the "real crime" was the overload of regulations imposed by previous administrations that Trump recognize were catalysts to ENDING jobs and industries that are important to our future but were closing or fleeing to other countries. Laws and regulations should be geared to making things better, not shutting them down. Trump 2020!

Columbus L-E headline/story: "Lawsuit: McDonald’s puts employees in physical danger *
A group of employees from 13 McDonald’s restaurants in Chicago filed a lawsuit Thursday alleging that the company’s drive for profits puts workers at “daily risk” of physical attack by dangerous customers. * In the lawsuit filed in Cook County court, the 17 workers say McDonald’s has failed to protect them from what they say is a “citywide and nationwide” pattern of violence and that police respond to more than 20 911 calls every day regarding Chicago McDonald’s restaurants. They cite several examples of the violence, including an incident in which a customer beat an employee with a sign and another in which a customer urinated on a worker. * “McDonald’s has failed, at a systemic level, to protect its workers from violence in the workplace,” said Danny Rosenthal, an attorney for the workers. “Throughout the country, McDonald’s workers are regularly threatened, assaulted and injured by customers.” -- Good grief! It's not McDonald's that's "failed" in keeping its employees safe, it's the Shicago government that has FAILED to keep the streets safe! Unfortunately, the lawsuit is filed against McDonald's ONLY because Shicago hasn't any money to pay off a big lawsuit!

From "now the truth comes out" department - Remember the shooting at Fresno this past week,, when 10 male Asians among 35 gathered in a party were shot.. and 4 died? Well, as Paul Harvey might say, "this is the rest of the story": Online story: "You may have seen the story about the shooting in Fresno yesterday. The details: members of one Fresno gang opened fire on members of a rival gang at a football watch party. Four died and six were wounded." Well, like Ambassador Sondland, this is exactly like we "Presumed", yet MSM-13 knew but didn't disclose actual FACTs. And we are in better position to PRESUME than Ambassador Sondland EVER was.

Thursday, November 21, 2019

NBC News online headline: "Which candidate won the Democratic debate in Atlanta?" -- Hmmm... even MSM-13 has no answer... one thing for sure was Cory Booker nailed the DemocRATic Party agenda when he ripped Creepy Joe on his immediate legalization of marijuana statement when Booker said: "I thought you might have been high when you said it. Marijuana is already legal for privileged people, and the war on drugs has been a war on black and brown people."...confirming Charles Barkley's observation that DemocRATs only talk to blacks/address black issues... "every 4 years".

---
You know.. with the economy clicking on all cylinders because of rollbacks in taxes and regulations, I wish one DemocRATic candidate would illustrate how raising taxes back would keep the economy roaring.

---
So Prince Andrew is being pulled out of the limelight of "royaldom"... hmmm wonder whether is was really the Queen Mum's decision... or whether Disney requested it because Prince Andrew was hurting Disney sales of it's "Prince Charming" movies?

---
DemocRAT Congressman Maloney of NY asked if Ambassador Sondland now believed if President Trump would benefit politically from an Ukraine investigation into the Bidens, and Sondland said "yes"... of course Maloney did not ask if Ukraine, all other American allies, and the American taxpayers would benefit from Ukraine investigating the Bidens.

---
What is it with certain US Ambassadors? Do they really believe they were named to actually set their own policies if they feel 'the boss' doesn't see it the same as they do?

---
Online headline/story: "Pence aide denies discussion of link in Ukraine aid holdup *
A top aide to Vice President Mike Pence said Wednesday that a conversation described by EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland about a link between military aid for Ukraine and investigations “never happened.” * Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff, added that Sondland was “never alone” with Pence during the Sept. 1 trip to Poland." -- You know.. when Sondland lies about any aspect, he has to make up others to support the primary ones.

---
Online headline: "Ex-Baltimore mayor charged in ‘Healthy Holly’ book scandal" -- Hmmm... could Catherine Pugh be related to Maxine Waters....twins?

-----------------
Reminiscing a bit... from June 12, 2019 - Online headline: "Joe Biden says 'we're gonna cure cancer' if he's elected president" -- Hmmm... did anyone ask Creepy Joe about his "cure for cancer" last night? My question would have been, "VP Biden, if you have such knowledge, why not tell us now... it seems like this would assure you the presidency if it worked?

---
Unbelievable! Online headline: "Jussie Smollett sues city of Chicago for malicious prosecution" -- Good grief.. it was Smollett that put the career suicide props around his own neck., and faked a racial attack on himself!

---
Online headline: "Illegal immigrant arrested in deadly Oregon crash fled to Mexico after jail didn't honor ICE hold request" -- First.. he was not an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT.. he's an ILLEGAL ALIEN! Second, the mayor and sheriff of Washington County should be arrested, and the governor impeached!

---
Listening to Ambassador Sondland's opening assassination attempt of President Trump made me sincerely concerned at how far the DemocRAT effort at a coup has escalated. I sincerely hope one question I wish was asked of him would have been whether or not he made all the policy and strategy decisions of the hotel group he was responsible for ?

---
Hmmmm...talk about getting hoisted by one's on own petard, Congressman Schi**'s Counsel/Questioner inadvertently got mention of Biden's video confessing his extortion of the Ukraine President while Biden was the sitting VP of the US. Why hasn't the House Intelligence or Ethics Committees brought charges against Biden?

---
For Ambassador Sondland to complain about the State Department not giving him access to his records, he certainly read citings way to often that exposed he certainly has work records at his disposal.

---
M/C L-E Headline: "Barkley apologizes for remark to female reporter" -- Good grief.. what we learned is that the "reporter" is a leftist liberal.. we KNOW this because she doesn't understand what a humor is...

Wednesday, November 20, 2019

Well.. the Breakfast Club is BACK! had planned a little longer sabbatical but it's reached the "Popeye Point".. ("That's all I can stands - I can't stands no more!"). Will "catch up" on some of the things going on...

First.. the City is buying a property WE ALREADY OWN! Though one Councilor has reached out a smidge, the Virginia College property is being "purchased" for $2.5 Million,, but who's getting the check? One Councilor states that the building is owned by VirginiaCollegeLLC (but that's no guarantee the LLC is actually the Virginia College corporation), but the tax database says it's owned by the Development Authority of Columbus, and the $55,000.00 plus annual property taxes paid by Virginia College ceased 3 years ago (that's over $165,000.00 NOT RECEIVED in property taxes to fix crime and roads).

---
Now I've learned my Council person IS AWARE of increasing crimes in his district (MY DISTRICT, too!). Through our Home Owners Association, we received:

"Stay Alert! I've heard reports of another small gang looking to break-in vehicles on the north end of town. Please keep an eye out for your neighbors. Don't make it easy for these vandals, lock your vehicle doors and then double check. Take your valuables out of your vehicles, and don't give them anything to shop for. Keep your vehicles in a safe area, and a well lighted area. Call 911 if you see any suspicious activity. Let's try to look out for each other, and assist our law enforcement officers"

Hmmm...It sure would be nice if Columbus had those extra 100 police officers promised in the 2009 Public Safety LOST patrolling and capturing this/these gangs.

---
Still no word/info on what account.. and how much has been accumulated in 10+ years of the Public Safety LOST money meant to hire 100 extra patrol officers... whether the Chase Homes will be rebuilt on the existing site or moved to another.... or how much the Deputy Mayor is paid...

---
The River Road Roundabout is now "open" though not finished. Traffic is better than it was when construction was impeding it but the issue I'm most concerned about (logging trucks) hasn't really been tested as yet.. did see one southbound semi hauling a near empty flatbed trailer gingerly manipulate safely through it with decided uncertainty, but this was doing a very low traffic lull. We'll see....

---
And how about our MCSD/MCSB! A settlement was reached exceeding $1,000,000.00 under the Title IX school sports program with a Northside High "softball mom" in which a new girls softball locker room will be built for over $448,000.00. Mind you, it's 1008 square foot facility costing nearly $445.00 a square foot, and he other $550,000.00 plus part of the settlement is no more frugally spent that this specifically mentioned amount.
Now, how much is a Title IX settlement going to be to accommodate all the new girls' football programs?

---
As a taxpayer watching Congressman Fulla Schi**'s hearing, I noticed a lot of bobbleheads behind him...why were they there? I'm sure they were getting paid, so why weren't they elsewhere earning it.

---
It's really sad that Congressman Fulla Schi** is focusing on directing a verdict versus rather than pursuing ... unveiling the truth of the matters discussed.

---
Lt Col Vindman outed himself yesterday.. while he insists his "policies" should outweigh President Trump's, he also admitted, as a Lt Colonel, he was pretty far down the official chain of military command as far as setting policy is concerned...

---
From "straight from her mouth" department - Online headline/story: "Teresa Tomlinson on David Perdue’s socialism ‘scare tactic’ * “We intend to take David Perdue head on with this stuff about socialism. That’s crap and there’s no way the people of Columbus, Georgia twice elected a socialist mayor,” said Tomlinson, the former mayor of Columbus.Asked to elaborate, Tomlinson said Perdue’s attacks describing Democrats as socialists are “his only tenet in this campaign.” * Tomlinson said she was motivated by an AJC poll that found a plurality of registered voters - 41% - were waiting to see who the Democratic nominee was before deciding who to back in Senate Race No. 1. “That’s because I’m going places and people are showing up. I’m not chasing people with MAGA hats, because I don’t think it’s a good use of my time,” she said." -- "there's no way the people of Columbus, Georgia twice elected a socialist mayor"? Good grief! The number one tool of the socialist agenda is to LIE, and this is what ex-mayor Tom-LYING-son does best. She's a believer in the "everyone is equal.. but some of us are more equal" socialist agenda.

One big question is why does she say this in Atlanta but not here in Columbus?

---
Online headline: "Atlanta mayor: City could deposit first $4.6 million into affordable housing trust fund in December" -- Hmmm versus building a roundabout?....$4.6 million.. that's what OUR Council spent to build the River Road Roundabout.

---
Online headline: "Georgia 2020: Andrew Yang and Dominique Wilkins shoot hoops, talk election" -- Good grief! Talk about a mismatched photo-op! It's obvious Yang wasn't talking about his slam dunking talents...

---
Online headline: "Mayor Buttegieg courts black voters in Atlanta" -- Hmmm.. maybe he should have "courted" blacks in South Bend, IN when he was mayor... Oh! Wait a minute.. weren't blacks in South Bend protesting the frequency blacks were IN COURT there?

---
Online headline: "U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar would require states to use paper ballots, issue grants to local governments to upgrade their voting infrastructure and ban foreign nationals from buying election ads, she said Monday at a voting rights event in Atlanta." -- Good grief! This may be the worst racial pandering of ALL the DemocRAT candidates gathered in Atlanta! The US Constitution now covers the rights of ALL that are privileged to have the right to vote.. besides.. Klobuchar is from Minnesota.. which has less than 6% black population and doesn't have enough Latino population to get a demographics category..

---
Listening to Col.Vindman answer the DemocRATic Counselor's questions at the public hearings, it was pretty obvious that Vindman was "searching" for particular words to use. This basically confirms that Vindman was pre-informed of the questions and coached as how to answer.

---
Online headline/story: "Tom Brady reiterates his hope that Colin Kaepernick gets another chance in NFL * Brady said, “I said the other day it’s great that he got an opportunity and hopefully he makes the most of it. It is like everyone in the NFL, it’s a great privilege to play and do something you love to do. I’ve felt that way for a long time. Hopefully he gets an opportunity. That’s kind of how I feel." -- You know, Tom Brady may have the right idea... put KaeperPRICK back on the field so the world can see what an ex-QB who's last 3 seasons went 15-33 and has a 3 year absence can do..

---
Did you see Pete Booty-gig's numbers in Iowa? I really don't think it's because the DemocRAT voters see him as their preference, but look at him as the next in line after Biden, Warren, and Bernie have imploded in recent weeks.

---
You know.. one of the "witnesses" in the "impeachment inquiry" is ex-Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, whom Congressman Fulla Schi** and MSM-13 are portraying as a "wounded doe in the headlights". I tell you what, if this is the Yovanovitch that has been "representing American interests abroad, it's no mystery why world leaders laughed at America before Trump stepped up to the plate!

---
Well, well, well.. Online story: "The Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission, formerly the state Ethics Commission, filed a lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court on Friday against Stacey Abrams’ 2018 gubernatorial campaign and two other groups tied to Abrams for failing to fully comply with subpoenas for certain documents last spring. * Former campaign manager Lauren Groh-Wargo said the campaign turned in thousands of pages of banking and campaign finance records but refused to release communications requested between the campaign and other groups, including the New Georgia Project and state Sen. Nikema Williams, then vice-chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia." -- Hmmm.. so Stacey Abrams really has committed to the DemocRAT agenda.. she feels she's "BEYOND the LAW"!

---
As sad as it was to hear that Columbus State enrollment has decreased over 7% in the last two years.. the disappointment is compounded now that it's revealed that the University System of Georgia overall enrollment has increased to a record high.

---
Online headline/story: "Homeless New Yorkers are being sent to San Antonio, other U.S. cities * More than 12,000 homeless New Yorkers are being relocated to about 370 cities around the country. San Antonio is expected to receive several people from New York, all of who are getting a year's worth of rent and money for furnishings, courtesy of NYC. * Other Texas cities receiving New York's homeless include Houston, Dallas, Austin.. and Helotes. * Local officials we contacted today were surprised to hear about New York's Special One-Time Assistance (SOTA) program. * Councilwomen Rebecca Viagran (District 3) admitted: "I hadn't heard of that. We’re going to ask our city manager to call their city manager to find out 'what are you all doing?' * New York's SOTA program actually began in 2017. Over 5,000 families have been relocated from New York, most to other cities in the East, although at least one homeless person was flown to Hawaii." -- What a crime! That's all it is.. paid "kidnapping" and "human trafficking"! Wanna bet that "the cities" are all bolstered by more "democRAT voters being sent to big cities in mostly "blue states".. and as far as NY paying "rent for a year.. you can bet it's only enough to pay the renters share of tax-assisted rent programs which means the cities NY is sending them to are still paying the lion's share of the extra costs and all the new social and health services needed..

Online headline/story: "Tom Brady reiterates his hope that Colin Kaepernick gets another chance in NFL * Brady said, “I said the other day it’s great that he got an opportunity and hopefully he makes the most of it. From the "how appropriate" department - Apparently, KaeperPRICK wore a t-shirt with "Kunta Kinte" emblazoned on its chest. How appropriate.. like KaeperPRICK's success story, apparently Alex Haley's story about Kunta Kinte was about as inaccurate.

From Wikipedia: "Haley claimed that his sources for the origins of Kinte were oral family tradition and a man he found in the Gambia named Kebba Kanga Fofana, who claimed to be a griot with knowledge about the Kinte clan. He described them as a family in which the men were blacksmiths, descended from a marabout named Kairaba Kunta Kinte, originally from Mauritania. Haley quoted Fofana as telling him: "About the time the king's soldiers came, the eldest of these four sons, Kunta, went away from this village to chop wood and was never seen again."[7]

However, journalists and historians later discovered that Fofana was not a griot. In retelling the Kinte story, Fofana changed crucial details, including his father's name, his brothers' names, his age, and even omitted the year when he went missing. At one point, he even placed Kunta Kinte in a generation that was alive in the twentieth century. It was also discovered that elders and griots could not give reliable genealogical lineages before the mid-19th century, with the single apparent exception of Kunta Kinte. It appears that Haley had told so many people about Kunta Kinte that he had created a case of circular reporting. Instead of independent confirmation of the Kunta Kinte story, he was actually hearing his own words repeated back to him.[8][9]

See also: Harold Courlander § Roots and plagiarism
After Haley's book became nationally famous, American author Harold Courlander noted that the section describing Kinte's life was apparently taken from Courlander's own novel The African. Haley at first dismissed the charge, but later issued a public statement affirming that Courlander's book had been the source, and Haley attributed the error to a mistake of one of his assistant researchers. Courlander sued Haley for copyright infringement, which Haley settled out of court."

First things first.. November 10th was the 244th birthday of our US Marine Corps, and today is Veterans Day. Americans.. at least those I consider to be real Americans... salute our Veterans, past and present, for preserving our Constitution and way of life.

---
Today marks the first day that traffic at the River Road Roundabout will get some testing.. looks like southbound River Road traffic will be diverted into he new traffic route and may have no option to turn left on Bradley Park... Will have to see it myself before confirming..

---
Excuse me, but what is inappropriate about our President asking the new President of Ukraine to investigate the actions of the old President of Ukraine's dark dealings with the sitting Vice President of the US at the time. It's nice.. no ..important to know we have a President who puts America First!

---
Was driving our church bus from Spring Harbor to FBC Sunday, and the conversation turned to the price of gas today versus when the riders were younger. I piped in that I remember a "gas war" one day that I filled up TWICE at an ESSO station at 7-cents a gallon...all taxes included. One if the riders then commented that today's prices have more than that in state & local SALES TAXES ALONE... this.."alone".. insures that no state will ever make fossil fuels illegal.

---
Can you imagine whether any other team could have walked away with a "W" if they had played LSU ..OR ..Alabama Saturday? Not trying to take anything away from LSU's victory, but the unforced Tagovailoa fumble in the Red Zone, and the muffed punt snap by Alabama's punter weighed heavy in the final score. Barring a UGA upset over LSU in the SEC Championship Game, I'd love to see a rematch of Alabama and LSU for the National Championship.

---
Did you see where AOC was a "wee bit upset" that a BILLIONAIRE who was backing Bernie.. as she does... changed allegiance to another BILLIONAIRE, Michael Bloomberg.. she connected the twosome as being both Jewish and Billionaires.. Good grief.. what did she expect... she's on the record as being anti-Semitic AND wanting to castrate BILLIONAIRES!

---
From the "talk about hoisting oneself on your own petard" department - Did you see Elizabeth Warren's response to Michael Bloomberg's announcement? Well, Elizabeth Warren feels big money shouldn't be able to buy an election....think about that...she's out trying to buy votes with promises of spending "REALLY BIG MONEY" .. and OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY AT THAT ... on free everything!

---
Online headline: "Bernie Sanders blasts Michael Bloomberg at Iowa rally: 'You ain't gonna buy this election'" -- Good grief! Just like Warren, Bernie says, "You ain't gonna buy this election". Hmmm..and just like Warren, Bernie is out BUYING as many votes as he can promising "Really BIG Money" TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS spending programs....but with OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY!

---
Dueling headlines: #1 - "Trump receives mostly warm welcome at Alabama-LSU game" -- From the "Bias? What bias?" department.. -- "mostly warm welcome"? Scroll down to the video....sounded pretty darn welcoming to me...betcha Warren , Bernie, and Biden would have been ecstatic with such a reception at any sporting event!

Headline #2 - "President Trump gets predictably warm welcome at Alabama-LSU" -- "predictably warm"? How about "overwhelmingly respectful and appropriate"!

Check out the video and decided for yourself:

One reporter even tried to negate Trump by saying he didn't get there until after the National Anthem... Goof grief.. That was because President Trump RESPECTED the situation, and arriving PRIOR to the National Anthem would have disrupted the whole process of seating all the fans!

---
Since the NCAA will be allowing athletes to be compensated, the recruiting concept will be changed forever.. coaches will just advertise for players to send them a copy of their best offers, and our alumni will top that!

And what about "loyalty".. that'll be out the door! Some player will have a better game/season that was expected from him/her, and another school will offer a better pay scheme to come play with them...and pity the player that doesn't perform as anticipated.. what's he/she gonna do when the 6-figure "salary" gets cut back to Minimum Wage?

---
Come Election Day 2020.. do blacks and Hispanic voters listen to the same old DemocRATic diatribe of promises (lies), or listen to President Trump and his record of actual accomplishments?

---
From the "you gotta be kidding!" department - M/C L-E FRONT PAGE headline: "There’s driving force creating inclusive space for drag scene" -- Good grief... a social. at best.sue that belongs.... at best... on a "Community" page.. given a "Front Page, Above the fold" status.. I may not HAVE to cancel my subscription... the L-E may have just done it to itself.
Confirmation of the L-E's future: M/C L-E headline/story: "The Ledger-Enquirer moves to digital Saturdays * We still will have a Saturday “paper,” it’ll just be delivered to your computer, tablet and phone via our eEdition. You’ll receive it — like all other e-Editions throughout the week — by 6 a.m." -- Hmmm... but I imagine the Saturday e-edition won't have Friday night high school football scores in it... either!

---
From the "obviously not a goose/gander situation" department - Online headline/story: "Fired CBS producer says she did not leak footage that revealed ABC's alleged Epstein spike * Ashley Bianco had been an employee of CBS for four days before she was ousted as the alleged leaker,"-- "Ousted"... for being a possible leaker? Good grief! Like all MSM-13 'gang' members, CBS would rush to get ANY 'leak' about Trump to air, yet fired one of their own BECAUSE she MAY have leaked something (or blew a whistle) that could damage elite liberals!

---
You probably didn't see this FIRST here, but the "whistleblower" has been publicly identified.. I'm comfortable now publishing the name... Eric Ciaramella.,, it might save his life! If he has any fear of his identity being outed, he's actually better off.. safer,, with the public knowing his name.. otherwise, he would be only known to the inner circle of the likes of Obama, Hellary, Creepy Joe, Bull Schi**, and Queen PeLOUSY cal-BagLadi, and if anything happens to him later, MSM-13 won't mention anything if suddenly he no longer exists.

---
On a local Columbus, GA issue, I had no idea that so many BCers and social media people were just as curious as me about where the 11 years of LOST tax dollars collected to pay the 100 extra police officers has been saved.. and how will it be spent. I suggest you contact your district's Council member plus the 2 "at large" members whom you get to vote on..it's time we see this hand played with the cards face up on the table.

---
Two sanctuary city protected illegal alien felons in California killed an Eldorado County Deputy who was responding to a robbery call from a drug dealer concerned he wasn't going to get paid his price for the illegal drugs.. The deputy was laid to rest Tuesday.. Governor Queen PeLOUSY cal-BagLadi's nephew (Gavin Newsome) didn't bother to attend the deputy's funeral.. he sent minions while he met with executives of PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric...probably to discuss some 'quid pro quo' about recent fires and future political donations) which he could easily have handled otherwise by a date change or phone call. Wonder how much California politicians got?

---
Talk show host stand-in Mark Steyn nailed Biden Friday...how often do we hear MSM-13 apologize for Biden gaffes by writing it of with "that just Joe being Joe"? Well.. Steyn was talking about the threat to the Ukraine president Biden brags that he gave him 6 hours to fire a prosecutor or a $1 Billion in US loan guarantees would be history.. Steyn called it "quid pro Joe"....

---
Aside from all the other uber-Socialist policies for illegal aliens, Bernie also wants to allow 50,000 "climate immigrants" to come into America....Wait a minute...I thought Bernie and ALL the DemocRATs feel that America is CAUSING the "climate issues"..why would immigrant WANT to come into America for the "Climate"?

Have to straighten out a post I made Friday about an agreement the Chinese said had occurred about China and America easing up on tariffs: "They’d like to have a rollback,” Trump told reporters at the White House, referring to the Chinese. “I haven’t agreed to anything.” - Hmm... looks like MSM-13 has changed some tactics.. now it's using it's FAKE NEWS tactic make Trump deny something that would probably be good for America.. But, as usual, Trump keeps them straight!

---
M/C L-E headline: "Trump campaign reaches out to black voters" -- As President Trump was in Atlanta Friday addressing "Black Voices for Trump", MSM-13 was busy promoting how only 6%-8% of black voters supported him in 2016. You know, with the relish MSM-13 promotes these numbers, I think it's to cover up what really happened.. Personally, I believe a lot more than 6%-8% of black voters supported Trump.. but just didn't admit for fear of personal backlash.. Oh! and the "Black Lives MAGA" hats were terrific!

---
From the "talk about collusion" department - Online headline: Ukraine whistleblower (N.K.A.  Eric Ciaramella) won't be called to testify, Rep. Adam Schiff suggests" -- This alone should end the Bull Schi** investigation... and Schi**'s career... but we pray it won't..

--
Let's face it.. Congressman Bull Schi** can not afford either to put Ciaramella under oath or not to put him under oath to testify.. Ciaramella is so connected to the DemocRAT hierarchy that his motives are transparent either way.

From the "let's put the blame where it belongs" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Aging US dams pose hazard to thousands * The review of federal data and reports obtained under state open records laws identified 1,688 high-hazard dams rated in poor or unsatisfactory condition as of last year in 44 states and Puerto Rico. The actual number is almost certainly higher, because some states declined to provide condition ratings for their dams. * Since a low point in 2011, states’ total spending on dam safety has grown by about one-third to nearly $59 million in the 2019 fiscal year while staffing levels have risen by about one-fifth, according to data collected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers." -- "low point in 2011"? Guess who was president then.. yeah.. the same guy that took office with a National Debt of $10.7 Trillion, and left America with a National Debt of $19.9 Trillion.. and that the $19,9 Trillion adds almost $600 BILLION in interest debt annually, so of the about $3 Trillion added under Trump, nearly $1.8 TRILLION of that is paying the interest fore 3 years.

After listening to all the current DemocRATs lying for... ooops.. VYING for.. the DemocRAT Presidential nomination, it's apparent that none of them feel that hardworking American small business and home owners pay enough taxes.. seems like that's the posture of our Columbus, GA Council and MCSB as well.

My bride and I watched a car speed up at a traffic light at the intersection of Whittlesey and Veterans that had already turned red four car lengths before he sped up. My bride wondered if a police officer might have been there to see and ticket him if we had ANY those phantom 100 extra police officers we pay for in the Public Safety LOST.

---
I was talking with a former mayor a week ago who had asked a Council person where was the money from the LOST that is suppose to pay for those 100 extra police officers each ear.. He was assured that the money was being saved/accumulated and not being spent.. Somehow, that doesn't seem plausible. My thoughts on this seem to look at the fund balance that was raided so often during the Tom-LYING-son reign, and I think that after 10+ years of not spending the $10 Million or so in annual LOST taxes for the 100 new officers, the City should have an account with in excess of $100,000,000.00 in it, and since it is a PUBLIC SAFETY issue, and Council cannot use $100,000,000.00 to back pay 10+ years of not hiring the 100 extra officers, why don't they USE IT TO REBUILD the new Government Center so the PUBLIC IS SAFER.

From the "here we go again" department - Online headline/story: "Judge orders Trump to pay $2M for charity foundation misuse * New York Attorney General Letitia James heralded the resolution of the case as a "major victory in our efforts to protect charitable assets and hold accountable those who would abuse charities for personal gain." * "No one is above the law — not a businessman, not a candidate for office, and not even the President of the United States," said James, a Democrat. * now" - Let's parse this a bit.. a DemocRAT governor appointed the judge in 2009.. she was elected unopposed in 2012, the Attorney General is a DemocRAT as well... sounds like a whole lot of collusion going on...now. I did enjoy the AG's last statement.. "No one is above the law---not a businessman, not a candidate for office, and not even the President of the United States,"...it's especially egregious considering that New York has handcuffed it's street officers, has become a sanctuary city for illegal alien criminals, and the Clintons run one of the most politically corrupted foundations ever!

---
Warren really has gotten the DemocRAT voter base motivated...especially the billionaire ones.. Bill Gates, Tom Steyer, and now Michael Bloomberg are fretting over how they would fare under any of the DemocRAT who end up on the ballot.

---
Elizabeth Warren is STUPID! There's no other word for it... first she says she's targeting BILLIONAIRES with a wealth tax.. now she's come up with a cutesy "Billionaire calculator" which insults some of the best mathematical brains in the country.. it's like she wants to stand in the middle of the street in Pamplona, Spain during the "running of bulls" and while waving a red cape. It's obvious that she knows nothing about wealth accumulation as being "worth a billion" is not the same as "having a billion in cash".. that n[money may have to be raise by selling off stock in which a capital gains tax would be realized, or selling off a business and ending the jobs that were required. This is more STUPID than claiming she was a Native American because her mother said she was... hmmm.. I'll bet her mother probably said she was STUPID, too, but Warren didn't want to believe that...

From the "talk about PROFESSIONAL quid pro quo" department - Online headline/story: "State Dept. official flagged Hunter Biden's 'conflict of interest' in Ukraine, testimony shows * George Kent, a career official at the State Department, told House investigators conducting the impeachment inquiry against President Trump that he raised concerns about Hunter Biden's lucrative service on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas company -- but was told that it wasn't appropriate to discuss the matter because of the health struggles of Biden's eldest son, Beau." -- Whoa! Beau Biden died in 2015.. of course he's have died again know Hunter Biden would have an affair with his widow, but that's another story.. what's big here is WHO ordered the "shut down" into Hunter Biden during the Obama-Biden administration.

---
Hmmm...Looks like another delay on the River Road Roundabout...this will make it close to 3 weeks late on a 4 week job. It's also funny that a new traffic pattern is going to begin on a Monday that's a state Holiday.

---
I never thought that Jessica Tarlov was stupid before, but she sure exposed herself to this thought process on Fox Outnumbered yesterday. The discussion was on Jeff Sessions getting into the Alabama Republican primary.. Somewhere in the exchanges, Tarlov whined in that.. it's Alabama..they will elect a Republican. Is Tarlov a victim of a liberal education or what? Wish someone had reminded her that late Governor Wallace was a DemocRAT?

---
Why are news anchors trying so hard to second guess President Trump? Even the Fox ones feel he needs to have a strategy now, and not wait for the Senate trial.. Are these folks blind? Trump and his friends are out every day reminding everyone how the DemocRATs are pretty much winning his case for him. Personally, I think President Trump has a great strategy!

---
Elizabeth Warren says that without "her" "Medicare for All" program, things will get worse.....HUH! The way I see it, ..and the way it is will make healthcare even worse if she gets to implement it.

---
Online headline: "If the media, liberal think tanks and Democrats in Congress were truly concerned about the economic well-being of 'hard-working families,' as Elizabeth Warren likes to say, they would have cheered to the rafters this amazing news of rising incomes for nearly all groups. | Fox Business" -- Wouldn't sending ALL DemocRATs to live in California give everybody what they want?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Columbus looking to crack down on over 24,000 false alarm calls" -- Hmmm.. Sounds to me that the ultimate goal of fining people is aimed at making people disarm or shut off their alarms which will allow Council to keep putting of hiring the 100 extra police officers that Columbus needs.

---
From the "what's that sound?" department - M/C L-E headline: "China: Beijing, US to lift tariff hikes" -- What was that noise? Did I hear PeLOUSY's and Schmoozer's jaws hit the ground?

Thursday, November 7, 2019

Parsing that horrible massacre in Mexico near our Arizona border...how horrible it would be to discover through forensic investigation of the bullets and cartridge shells that one or more of the automatic weapons used could be traced back to the Obama-Holder "fast & furious" program that supplied such weapons to Mexican cartels.

---
If nothing else, knowing Mexican Presidente Obrador is not going to engage drug cartels after seeing the recent massacre of American women and children, Queen PeLOUSY Cal-BagLadi needs to get on board that there is definitely a real border crisis, and "the WALL" is necessary to protect American citizens on this side of the border from drugs and the violent atmosphere that comes with drugs.

---
So Jeff Sessions wants back in at "The Capitol Club".. He could get a seat next to Romney... hmmm, for all you OLD newspaper comic fans.. this could be the 21st Century version of, "Mutt and Jeff".

---
Online story: "Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts is endorsing home-state Sen. Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign — breaking with other members of "The Squad," who backed Bernie Sanders." -- Hmmm.. What name shall we give Warren's support group of one... how about "THE Squaw"? Hey... I know.. it's a few months late but it is cute.

---
From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline: "Alabama warns student groups not to engage in 'disruptive behavior' during Trump visit" -- Hmmm.. just a couple of weeks ago, officials at Benedict College in South Carolina told.. basically ORDERED... not to attend (leave campus or stay in dorms) when President Trump was invited to the campus to receive a prestigious award...and "news" didn't leak out until later. Personally, the Alabama "warning" is.. at best.. superfluous .. since since these game tickets are treasured by football and Trump fans.

---
From the "Last word on the subject? I don't think so.." department - Online story: "Charles Rhines, who was previously convicted in the stabbing death of 22-year-old Donnivan Schaeffer at a donut shop in 1992, was executed Monday, S.C. Attorney General Jason Ravnborg's office confirmed. * Just before he died, Rhines made an unexpected final statement to the victim's parents, Ed and Peggy Schaeffer, admitting he harbored no resentment toward the couple, whose young son he brutally killed. * "I forgive you for your anger and hatred towards me," he told them as he lay strapped to a table at the South Dakota State Penitentiary, the Rapid City Journal reports. "I pray to God that he forgives you for your anger and hatred towards me." -- Good grief..wonder if Rhines believed he was getting in "the last word"? Sorry Rhines, as you know by now, that's reserved for God..and it sounds more like you didn't ask for..or get God's forgiveness.. during the 27 years you you had to think about it...

---
Online story: "Donald Trump Jr. tweets name of alleged whistleblower" -- Why has this person been given "whistleblower" status? Why.. he/she wasn't a first hand witness and only has the say-so of another anonymous individual that we don't even know that he/she was a first hand eye-witness. Besides, it's not that this so-called "whistleblower" said anything about the Clintons, so why would he/she be worried about people knowing?

---
From the "Speaking of the "whistleblower" department - Online headline/story: "'Coup has started,' whistleblower's attorney said in 2017 posts calling for impeachment * Mark Zaid, one of the attorneys representing the intelligence community whistleblower at the center of the Democrats' ongoing impeachment inquiry, tweeted conspicuously in January 2017 that a "coup has started" and that "impeachment will follow ultimately." * Then, in July 2017, Zaid remarked, "I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president." Also that month, Zaid tweeted, "We will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters." -- Good grief... and combined with Bull Schi**'s personal knowledge of and involvement with the "whistleblower", the wrong man is being persecuted.

---
You know.. the DemocRATic House persecution efforts towards President Trump are no different than being a "schoolyard bully"... and who have been the proponents of eliminating "bullying".. Naturally, the DemocRATs and MSM-13. Keep punching them in their noses President Trump!

---
I'm curious.. were absentee ballots counted and verified before the polls closed in Kentucky Tuesday night?

---
Speaking of absentee ballot issues: Online story: "A federal lawsuit filed Wednesday asked a judge to require quick notification to Georgia voters when their absentee ballots are rejected, giving them time to correct problems and have their votes counted. * The lawsuit, filed by the Democratic Party, said voters often aren’t told about mismatched or missing signatures on their absentee ballots until it’s too late." -- Good grief.. I've only used an absentee ballot once in my 54 years being a registered voter, and had no issues with seeing the spaces designated for my signature or other information.. I have no sympathy for those filling one out as there is even a place to identify an "assisting elector" if the voter needs helps.

For the record - GA Power Co's online payment site was working yesterday AM, and paid my bill with NO SERVICE FEE.. It still doesn't exonerate GA Power from connecting Customer Service Users to their payment department and being told they would have to pay a fee to pay their bills.

---
Online headline: "Stacey Abrams urges Iowans to join her fight for voting rights as centennial of women’s suffrage nears" -- Wait a minute.. who does Stacey Abrams feel cannot vote.. the Constitution spells out who can and can't vote and being a lawyer, she should have no difficulty knowing this.

---
Seriously.. how can Elizabeth Warren claim no new taxes will be extracted from the middle class, but at the same time state she'll be going after their employers. Not only will their employers have to pay more in taxes that otherwise could be paid in salaries, most small business owners are already saddled with higher self-employment withholding as it is, and Warren's additional taxation would dig deeper in their pockets.

---
Oh! What's the latest on that property at Hilton and Macon Road that a high-density housing plan is being developed? Wonder if the delay is caused by Tom-LYING-son's Senate campaign so MidTowners won't abandon her... yet..

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Housing authority CEO leaving after 18 years * After 45 years of public service, with the last 18 spent at the Housing Authority of Columbus, Len Williams has announced he will retire from his role as chief executive officer in June. * Williams, 67, worked for housing authorities in Savannah and Birmingham before coming to Columbus in October 2001. * On Thursday, the board will meet at the Auburn Marriott in Opelika, Alabama, during its annual retreat. The board will discuss potential successors for Williams, who says he isn’t worried about the future of the housing authority." -- Undoubtedly, Len Williams has earned his retirement, but I am concerned that "the board" will travel to Alabama to discuss the future.. If getting "out of town" is their goal.. why not at Callaway so the money spent will circulate in GA?

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Harris County voters back school sales tax"

76.73% (1,520-461) voted yes on continuing the existing tax.

73.37% (1,449-526) voted yes on new funding.

Only 8.4% of Harris County’s 23,804 registered voters cast a ballot on those two questions." -- Good grief.. 8.4% of voters went to vote.. and 3/4th of those probably had personal financial interest in the outcome. Come on GA legislators.. get all tax referendums moved to even numbered years on General Election ballots!

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Scientists find oldest example of upright ape * BY FRANK JORDANS * ASSOCIATED PRESS * BERLIN The remains of an ancient ape found in a Bavarian clay pit suggest that humans’ ancestors began standing upright millions of years earlier than previously thought, scientists said Wednesday." -- You know.. if YOU want to believe you were evolved from apes versus being created in God's image.. go ahead.. I just want to be there when you tell your story to God..

It appears that the son of a former DemocRAT governor squeaked in a win in the Kentucky gubernatorial race. Squeaky in that it was less than .004% margin while a Libertarian took nearly 2% of the vote as well. There will probably be a recount, but why isn't there a runoff since no one got 50% + 1 of the vote? You would think DemocRATs would clamor for a runoff because they are always shouting that "the majority rules", and no one got a "majority of the votes". Buried deep in the story is (and treated with little significance is that Republicans won the race for state attorney general for the first time since the 1940s, with Daniel Cameron winning over 57 percent of the vote.

I'm beginning to think football media is looking for an excuse to proclaim Ohio State as the Number 1 team because they are burned out on SEC teams dominating the college football scene (5 of Top 11 are SEC).. Of course, Ohio State's quarterback was UGA's backup QB..how good could they been if they had Jake Fromm?

---
Wow! MSM-13 darling Jeff Bezos just put $1.5 million of Amazon dollars into the Seattle Chamber of Commerce's PAC to support political candidates running against current uber liberals on the Seattle City Council...this is huge!

---
Update of a local issue I asked about yesterday..my MCSB member responded to the question I asked yesterday, and the former Edgewood School building was sold to the local Boys and Girls Club organization. Pot's right!

---
On the other hand, still haven't got word from anyone on Columbus City Council how much the new Deputy Mayor makes... for that matter, why we need a Deputy Mayor when we have a City Manager who has 2 Deputy City Manager, and we have a Mayor Pro-Tem?

---
Talk about a racket.. Tried to pay my GA Power bill online yesterday and when I needed to "submit" the information, the page "shut down".. Called the Customer Service number and was informed that their payment site was down, and she wasn't sure when it would be up.. She offered to connect me to their bill payment site and did so. The first thing out of the responder's mouth was "there'll be a $2.00+ fee to make a payment.. I said, "No there won't" and hung up.. whatta racket.. GA Power's Customer Service sent me to GA Power's Payment Center and wanted me to pay extra to pay my bill.. Hey, PSC! Stop this practice!

From the "Jeffrey Epstein may be dead... but he's not 'dead' " department - News is out .. as is the "leaked" video that an ABC interview with one of Epstein's victims was quashed back in 2015 by the British royals and US DemocRATs, and one Clinton legal beagle. Let's watch closely..

---
From the "and the truth will set you free" department - M/C L-E story: "In an effort to counter U.S. sanctions, Iran will pull further away from a landmark nuclear accord signed four years ago, President Hassan Rouhani said Tuesday, announcing that the country would inject uranium gas into more than 1,000 centrifuges at a highly secure site that Iran initially hid from inspectors." -- Hmmm.. "a highly secure site that Iran initially hid from inspectors"? Well.. so if not for Trump.. the Obama-Biden Pact with the Devil would be even more hidden!

---
M/C L-E headline: "Diplomat knew why US aid was withheld" -- What is the issue/concern about "quid pro quo" over American tax dollars being given to other countries? I applaud President Trump for being concerned about the value America receives when we are giving money to assist other countries.. EVERY PRESIDENT... EVERY Legislator should be EQUALLY that American taxpayers get their money's worth!

---
M/C L-E headline: "Five Columbus-area schools reclassified * BY JOSHUA MIXON * JMIXON@LEDGER-ENQUIRER.COM" -- Whatta useless story.. we learned a few local schools would be reclassified, but what didn't learn was what are the classification ranges for the number of students? We learned that 2 other local schools went down in classification and 2 more went up.. but we didn't learn was how many students are in those schools..

---
M/C L-E headline: "Xi pledges steps to open Chinese markets" -- Well, well, well.. seems President Trump's focus on fair trade has had a definite impact...and there will be more to follow...

---
Online headline: "20 New Appointments Made by Governor" -- Hmm so 20 appointments were made by GA Governor Kemp.. none were Columbus connected... Guess having such a liberal voting base, liberal legislative base, and the DemocRAT's Minority Whip being married to Columbus' City Manager throws a damper on potential Columbus nominees...

---
Online headline: "Why the Democratic debate is headed to Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta" -- Discuss.. debate.. speculate as you will, but let's face it .. what better way to control access than with a gated facility.. it also means there won't already be a host of US Flags already lined up on the stage that will be used..

---
Online headline/story: "Trump to launch new black voter initiative from downtown Atlanta * The president will kick off the Black Voices for Trump Coalition initiative at 3 p.m. Friday at the downtown Atlanta convention center after a high-dollar fundraiser in Buckhead to support U.S. Sen. David Perdue. He’s expected to highlight recent statistics that show low unemployment rates for black workers as well as an opportunity zone program tucked into the Republicans’ 2017 tax-cut legislation that is designed to encourage investors to pump money into struggling areas." -- Hmmm... wanna bet that last nights election of the first Republican State Attorney General in Kentucky since the 1940s was won with a 57% to 43% margin.

---
Online story: "An internal investigation into several of Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’ campaign workers who were hired for city jobs found they weren’t properly screened, were paid from restricted funds with no relationship to their jobs and were compensated for a pay period that occurred before they submitted job applications. * The report from the city’s auditor and ethics offices confirms most the findings of an Atlanta Journal-Constitution investigation published in March, which detailed how the new administration circumvented normal city hiring processes and broke with longstanding political practice by charging taxpayers for transition work her campaign staff performed before she took office on Jan. 2, 2018." -- Hmmm...Maybe the Atlanta black vote is going to be ready to listen to President Trump.
