Earlier this month I mentioned a City plan that will provide every resident with a new 96 gallon (equipped with a GPS locator chip) garbage can that is planned for a March 22, 2022 kick-off date for automated garbage pick-up by new automated dumping systems that eliminate humans from all former positions (except driver... still waiting for a Tesla truck to do this).. Funny thing is that the City MisManager doesn't think about variables.. Take today.. it's the first garbage pick-up our neighborhood has had since Monday, December 20th. This is what has been "curbed" for today's pick-up.. I don't think a 96 gallon can will hold all this... and another neighbor.. a woman of grace has but one small bag of garbage she puts out weekly... but with her grace, she's also frail and must walk her small garbage bag to the curb because even a normal sized wheeled can is too unwieldy for her, but in March she'll be REQUIRED to roll her small bag of garbage inside a huge 96 gallon can so the City's automated pick-up device can "handle" it.

We had a unusual event happen Christmas Eve Eve.. as we gathered for a family event, an older dog appeared at our door dressed in a Christmas Bow collar.. She was eagerly wagging her tail, and obviously joyous, and just snuck in with other family members. Upon examination of her collar, there was no name/phone number, so we put her in our garage where she stayed =until we could address her needs.. We found a vet service that was open, and took her there to have her "chip" read. To our surprise, the dog didn't have a "chip".. (Hmmmm, I thought, what RESPONSIBLE dog-owner doesn't have a beloved dog-member of the family "chipped" in case this situation should ever arise). The vet said she could not treat the dog since we were not the owners, and told us to contact the City Animal Control department. We headed home again, taking another "sweep" through our nearby neighborhoods to see if we could fins=d anyone desperately looking for this old lovable dog.. Not seeing anyone, we went home, called 911 as instructed who connected us with Animal Control. Mt bride talked with them, and a person said a truck would be sent out to pick the dog up.. 15 minutes later, she got a call back saying no employees were available, and that we would need to bring her in ourselves.. Without a second thought, we picked up the German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix and put her in our car, and drove to he Animal Control Center on Milgen Road.. It was locked up, but fortunately, one employee stuck around because he knew we were en route, and was most helpful. Then we went home and posted where the wonderful older dog was in hopes the Social Media sites would get word to the owner.. it worked, the next morning we found that someone had seen the post and contacted the owner about it and we learned the owner had gone to Animal Control and someone had met her (even tough it was closed) and the 16 year old dog was reunited with her owner.. The owner (not going to mention her name) published "thanks" to the Animal Control worker for letting her get her dog back, but did not even address the efforts of unknowns who went out of their way to try and reunited them the night before. Fortunately, we were more concerned with the dogs needs so we felt blessed... and thanked...anyway.. Personally, I think the "owner" should be "chipped" so no animal rescue facility will let that person have another dog in the future.

The Democrats goal is NOT Democracy.. Democracy is about people controlling their own lives..that's the goal of the conservative element of Americans.. That's not the goal of the Democratic Party.. Democrats want to control everyone via the Karl Marx method.. and this use to be shown in our schools via the study of Aldous Huxley's "Animal Farm". "Animal Farm" presented Socialism in a parable like lesson... the lesson being that "all animals are equal but some animals are more equal that others".. Modern youth have seen advanced results of Socialism demonstrated in the "Hunger Games".. The "more equals" live in Panem in luxury, while all other "equals" live in mundane... but equal ... squalor in 12 "Districts". The Panem citizens lack for nothing... but when the 12 Districts suffer from not enough food, the Panem solution is not to share it's surplus to take care of the shortage, but to eliminate enough citizens of the Districts so the food available is enough for he remainder of the citizens..

 

The failure of a "pure Democracy" is guaranteed... when an equal split... 50/50.. on opposing concepts exists, nothing gets changes... nothing gets done.. but when one more "voter" is added and votes, the rule of the 51 completely controls the other 50.. Observe our US Senate situation.... There are 50 Republicans with... more or less.. conservative views ... and 48 Democrats with more liberal views... BUT.. there are two independent Senators, Angus King of Maine, and then there's Bernie from Vermont...and if those two vote for the Democrat view, there's a "tie"... then the "tie" is broken with an added 51st voter... by VP Chuckles Harris who is a Democrat, and will always vote for her Party's opinion... Unfortunately, in order to get 50 Senate votes for the liberal view, the two independents personal agendas are added to get their vote, so actually, what the 48 "Democrats "want" is not actually what they get.. they get what the two Socialist independents demand!

Watching trials on TV that prosecute police officers recently, I think I've noticed a disheartening pattern... It's not just the MSM that presents such biased anti-police angles, but the prosecutors are as bad or worse than the MSM! The prosecutors do not tell the jury the history of the "victims" criminal record, but in most cases, the police officers are aware of who they are dealing with and the dangers they face..... and the threat these criminals are to them. Juries should hear the complete criminal history of the victims the government attorney are using to persecute police officers. Juries should be able to ask themselves, "What would I have felt... what would I have done... if a recidivist felon showed up at my business, and refused to be civil or cooperative? What if this career felon stood between me, and my getting home safely tonight and be with my family...
