The Democrats are bound and determined to keep Covid on the front burner and keep the economy, inflation, crime, and oil & supply chain issues buried in the back pages.

Yesterday, Resident Biden spent an intolerable amount of time rambling about Covid vaccine Family Centers.. Something that could have been dine in 2 or 3 minutes took 15020.. maybe more. How does he have that much time to talk about such things when, if he applied that much time to SOLUTIONS, he wouldn't have to talk so much about issues.

One of the things he "announced" was availability of free Home Covid Tests.
Free... as long as you don't have insurance coverage. You know, those with insurance coverage may have to make a co-pay.. Wait a minute... even if you have coverage, just go to a center and tell'em you don't.. it would be free from co-pays as well.

I'm gonna guess that Resident Biden has told so many lies so many times... that he cannot remember he made them up.. I say this as I had very extended conversations with one of my grandmothers who suffered with Alzheimer's for 11 years, and she could remember minute details of my childhood, then... then look up at me and ask, "Who are you?"..

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Pedestrian killed in hit and run on Victory Dr., Marathon Dr. in Columbus * The vehicle fled the scene after hitting the man. There is no description of the vehicle at this time." -- We gotta count this one as 66... some of...if not all of the other 4 vehicular homicides need to be counted, too... Anyway...66 for sure .. that means 33 homicides per 100K people. That puts Columbus, GA in the Top... uh.. WORST.. 20 in America for 2021!

Shicago already has the highest number of homicides it's had in the last decades, 793 so far, and 745 are by shooting. Even more depressing is that there have been a total of 4,261 people shot in Shicago this year.. so far... It makes me want to know how many people in Columbus have been shot and wounded but not killed.. The total shot in Shicago is more than 5 times the number that have been killed.. If that's a guide, Columbus, GA. could have close to 275-315 people who have been shot or killed his year... so far.. How about some up-to-date figures Columbus, Council.. Oh... by the way, as horrid as the Shicago numbers look on paper, on scale, they are less that Columbus'.. Shicago has 13.5 times as many people as Columbus, GA.

Back in the 1990s, Columbus, GA Council ask citizens to step up and purchase picnic tables w/umbrellas and benches to place on the Plaza at the Government Center.. and we did. They are, for the "most part", still there (though like so many other City assets, needing some TLC maintenance, but what I want to know is what is the City"s plan for them once the Government Center is leveled and rebuilt?
