Was disappointed in a WTVM-TV9 "news" story I read online concerning a political position of a local GA Senator, the GA Representative wife of our City Manager, and a Council member brow beating  the recent GA law protecting future local and state elections. The three basically.. no... intentionally lied about the law's intent and effect. What disappointed me most wasn't the covering of the "event", but the fact that the WTVM-TV9 broadcast team did not  challenge the statements or present a factual correction.  What the three alluded was basically racist and insurrectionist, as they purposefully tried to arouse emotions in a deceitful manner.

Hey, Columbus Council! Got still another Columbus Water Works "bill" in the mail this week.. The main sheet was the bill recap showing it was being paid via "Auto-Pay", plus a slick news and information flyer.. both of which could easily be sent via my e-mail address, but, then again, if the CWW did send them to me by e-mail, the CWW couldn't send me its self-addressed return payment envelope... which, with "Auto-PAY" we obviously DON"T NEED! Wait a minute.. you know, why does the CWW PAY to send me a return envelope when the primary reason was to tell me my bill would be paid for via "Auto-Pay"? Hey.. if the CWW ELIMINATED sending UNNECESSARY and UNNEEDED payment return envelopes to Auto-Pay customers, it could probably save upwards of &50-$60,000.00 a month or $300-to-$360,000.00 ANNUALLY which could eliminate some .. maybe all.. of the impending rate increase!

How does this happen... a felon... a "suspected" first degree murderer, was being extradited to Arizona ... and escaped at an Atlanta Airport rental car lot in broad daylight while handcuffed, and was shoeless. From the "figures don't lie... but liars figure a lot" department - After posting the NBC figures of JoKKKe Biden's "approval" rating yesterday (54%), I did some parsing. There were 8 factors ranging from 69% for "Coronavirus" (based on the vaccines being completed by Trump) to 33% for Biden's "Border security and Immigration". I do m=not have an answer for HOW NBC got its "54% rating because if you weigh the 8 factors equally, you get a base number of 368 ÷ 8 which is 46%, but... if you eliminate the bloated "Coronavirus" figure of 69%, you come up with a control number for the other 7 categories of 299 ÷ 7 and an overall approval of 43% which, I might add, is lower that President Trumps'.

Question: Will BLM accept a reversal of the 1st and 2nd Degree Murder charges Derek Chauvin was found guilty of committing? Minnesota Law covering the 1st Degree murder charge (609.184) requires "premeditation" and "intent", and neither of those should apply when Chauvin was sent to the location to handle a 911 call placed by a citizen to handle a crime. Minnesota's 2nd Degree charge must meet the "intent", but not the "premeditation" requirement. There is an "iffy" statement in 609.19 - Subdivision 2 - Paragraph 2, but under the circumstance of being a random meeting event caused by the commitment of a crime, I'd find it hard for an appeals court to uphold the verdict. While many aspects of the charge for 3rd Degree (609.195) murder were met, enforcing those on a law enforcement officer called in to handle a crime situation will probably discourage existing enforcement personnel from staying on the job. Things happen when "alleged" criminals disrespect police authority and crowds become hostile.

Joe Biden incited violence against Republican Senator Lindsay Graham for investigating his crackhead son Hunter: “There’s nothing to investigate about Biden or his son, and Lindsey is about to go down in a way I think he’s going to regret his whole life,” Biden said."

He is scheduled to appear in Recorder’s Court Friday for homicide by vehicle, hit-and-run, and reckless driving charges." -- Another HOMICIDE! Number 25... or 28 in my count.. but I don't know whether it's even worse that the shooting deaths we have too much of.. most shooting deaths involve drug crimes or gang retaliations.. this death was of an ordinary, law abiding couple who happened to be driving to a destination...and leaves her family wondering "why?"

I see the casino issue is bubbling again in GA.. the latest conjures up one in Midway, GA, about 35 miles south of Savannah of I-95. Midway has a population of about 2,100.. Have you watched CNN's coverage of the Minnesota trial of the former law enforcement officer? Is it just me that thinks the judge should order that CNN stop referring to it as "The Trial of The George Floyd Killing?

The prosecutor in the Minnesota trial asked the defense's expert forensic witness about the oxygen level in Floyd's blood, and Dr Tobin said it was at a 98% level. Hmmm... seems obvious to me that the law enforcement officers knee had no real effect on Floyd's ability to breath since there was neither an oxygen deficiency nor was his ability to speak (I can't breathe) hindered.

Good grief! CNN made a real overblown fuss about the defendant not testifying (It;s a Constitution protect safeguard for all citizens). You know, when was the last time you heard of any defendant in a murder trial taking the stand? Also remember that CNN didn't raise an eyebrow when a witness who was riding in Floyd's car was not put on the stand by the prosecutor, and the judge forbid the defense from calling him to the stand. In my book, that witness should have had to plead his 5th Amendment right in front of the jury... his witness testimony isn't protected like the accused.

Now former Brooklyn, MN law enforcement officer Kim Potter needs to be exonerated immediately! Knowing that Daunte Wright had an on sight arrest warrant for violence with a gun, she was more than justified to pull her gun and use it when Wright jumped back in his car.
