The record has to set straight.. Council just gave away $500,000.00 tax dollars in an appeasement effort, and the Columbus L-E didn't mention the facts (fortunately, stories from WTVM & WRBL did mention the facts) that the man was arrested with a toxic amount of methamphetamine in his system which cause his heart to stop and resulted in an official autopsy document being changed in 2020 to read "“sudden cardiac death following a struggle with law enforcement including prone position restraint complicating acute methamphetamine toxicity.” shortly after the death of George Floyd....  Justice..3 Columbus law enforcement officers.. and the Columbus, GA property owners have been screwed over!

Just for the record, during Jim Crow Era 1.0, there were no Southern governors who were Republicans, and I haven't finished my research, but I don't think there were any Southern Republican Senators and few .. if any Southern Republican Congressmen.
