It's been a while since I brought this up, but the MCSD still owns some of the most valuable property in Columbus ... 40+ acres off Whitesville Road where school buses are stored and "serviced"... years ago, some large tracts were selling for $1 million per acre, and there's probably enough room to do that on the grounds of the old Brown Avenue School (now Columbus Roberts Center) which could generate some economic "spark" for the area..

Went to see "Boss Baby 2" yesterday with my bride and our tow oldest grandchildren...it was so different from the first one, I was a little bit apprehensive about the early content as to where "it was going"...it eventually made the point I've been pointing out for several years... that schools are doing their best to keep parents out of schools. In the end, some parents stood up for their kid and the children won.. but I was really concerned for most of the time..

 

Another aspect of "Boss Baby 2" that bothered me was that the school featured was called the ACORN School...and it reminded me of the activist group called ACORN that was supported by Obama during his terms in office..

The project will preserve the architecture and improve assistance to the public." -- Hmmm ever notice that when an organization in GA District 2 gets a grant, Congressman Bishop acts like he's responsible for the check? It's almost implied it sorta comes out of his own pocket... Hey, District 2 taxpayers... YOU PAID FOR THIS!
