There are already a business center, a condominium complex, an TWO large apartment complexes within a stones throw. With that many apartments, at least 340 cars.. and probability that if could be an additional 600-680 cars needing exits onto River Road at a stretch the GA DOT has previous said is not going to widen it (it's why we have the "roundabout" just south of it)

Secondly, how are Pell Grants thrown into this? Pell Grants... well ... are GRANTS, and except in extremely rare (usually fraudulent) situations, do not have to be repaid to begin with..

To get colleges more interested..concerned.. about students actually learning and graduating, put the colleges in charge of the loans.. Make the colleges use their endowment funds or assets to borrow from for actual school expenses, then, upon the completion of the degree, the colleges start receiving the graduates income tax withholdings (they are going to get refunds on those anyway) for up to 15 years ( or fewer if debt gets paid off). Oh! And add a set limit to be established for loan debt a college can issue.

I mentioned 2 past Columbus, GA City employees who were convicted of embezzling funds recently, and how their sentencing included their reimbursement of some of those funds (ALL should have be requires!). Well, seems a lot of the money for the Demps situation has been "discovered" in bogus accounts in the Clerk's Office and the City has gotten that back (still short $1.6 plus million), but he's in jail and will be there for a while, but former Parks and Rec head Adams moved out-of-town (to my understanding). The Court and Council should follow-up NOW and bring to light his record of any paybacks .. and if he's not making progress at a consistent and reasonable rate, bring him back to court on a sentencing violation..

I listened to WRBL's Chuck Williams' 54 minute Podcast of an interview with Congressman Sanford Bishop in it's entirety, and can only say it was nearly a hour's worth of Chuck Williams' demonstrating his open political bias.

Observations: Bishop basically said Corporate accountants/attorneys "cheat" because they know and follow the IRS laws and regulations that are set by the government.

Williams did not ask why ObamaCare did not create the savings or healthcare as promised.

Inflation..for 54 minutes....not addressed at all!

Border security..for 54 minutes...not addressed at all!

Crime rates... for 54 minutes...not addressed at all!

Drug traffic and deaths... for 54 minutes,,,not addressed at all!

Biden 2024...for 54 minutes.. not addressed at all!

He also failed to address why Bishop used/still uses a golf course that's not in his District as a fund raising venue. Some course/community in HIS DISTRICT could have benefited...

Bishop stated that experience is vital....He even said we shouldn't hire a brain surgeon who was just thinking about going to med school, yet Bishop feels he is better qualified to run GA's and our nation's agriculture business even though he has ZERO business experience outside of politics or "lawyering". (His opponent is actually a farmer)

Bishop said his position as Chair of the Agriculture Committee will be important next year for a pending Agriculture Bill. Wait a minute... at this point, it seems inevitable that the Republicans will be the House majority next year, which means Bishop WILL NOT BE the Chair of the Agriculture Committee.

Maybe WRBL will make Chuck Williams declare his Democratic Party bias BEFORE he does anymore Podcasts with any politicians in the future.
