Online headline: "Justice Department opposes release of affidavit justifying FBI search of Trump's Mar-a-Lago home" -- Hmmm... the first.. and most pertinent ... question is, "Why?"... Why should the Justice Department oppose being transparent ... particularly in this situation?

Was dumbfounded by the open racism of the "Pivot Fund"...I feel that any media organization that accepts funds from an organization openly projecting it's bias should be required to run a disclaimer about such before running anything under a news or opinion banner. Shame on McClatchy!

The child died of complications of the sickle cell crisis at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham in May 2013. * “This child’s death was completely preventable, and hopefully this verdict will cause DHR to re-examine its practices. This should not happen to anyone, and especially not to a child,” Turnbull added." - The child's death is a shame... but why are the taxpayers being punished? This child was removed from it's birth parents to begin with..

Online story: "Georgia’s multiyear plan to spend $135 million in new federal funding to boost electric vehicle charging will focus on the state’s rural and underserved communities, where fast public charging can be hard to come by. * many details – such as where exactly the chargers will go and what private groups might partner with the state to build them – remain to be settled. * The money is part of the $5 billion in federal funding that was packed into last year’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill with the purpose of building a national network of a half million electric vehicle charging stations by 2030." -- Can we get a recount on how much taxpayer confiscated money was paid to build gas and convenience stations with fossil fuel pumps to kick-start the auto industry?
