What's not "mentioned" in the same breath is hat california .. during "normal" situations... already IMPORTS 25% of it's electricity from OTHER STATES. California IMPORTS 89 MEGAwatts annually.. and doesn't care it it's fossil fuel generated or not... can you imagine what "supply chain shortages" and "supply and demand" will do to the cost to california citizens of importing "electricity" each year from now on?

You know, if the MCSD was doing it's job of teaching our students to be literate, we could save a ton on prison costs and maintenance... 70% of prisoners are illiterate. Maybe the key is to TEACH prisoners how to read when they are serving time, and maybe they will be able to avoid coming back in the future.. Yeah! Why shouldn't students and prisoners be held back if they cannot read at accepted grade levels...
