Wow! Listening to FL Gov. DeSantis informing his citizens about the preparations that have been initiated in expectation of Hurricane Ian was such a change from listening to Resident Biden's rants.. DeSantis stood out confidently that he was in charge, and Florida officials were prepared to take care of their citizens!

California is doing it again...yesterday I mentioned that gas furnaces are being banned beginning in 2030.. now Doctors are being gagged from discussing ... basically.... communicating with their patients... California just passed a law to punish doctors who give 'misinformation' ... Excuse me... but since doctors aren't "perfect" , anything they tell you could be considered 'misinformation' so all doctors could be arrested and jailed for telling anything to any patient!

---
Secretary of State Blinken says "We will not accept a bad Iran deal".... Hmmm.. good grief... any deal with Iran is "bad"!

---
Think about this... if GM thought lawsuits about it's "saddle bag" gas tanks were an ambulance chasing lawyer's dream, wait until some semi runs into a GM truck with a huge battery pack built under the passenger compartment of it's vehicles.

From the "nothing but the poll truth" department - Online headline: "Online headline/story: "Pennsylvania showdowns: Fetterman topping Oz, Shapiro leading Mastriano, in new poll * Fetterman tops Oz, the cardiac surgeon and celebrity doctor, 51%-44% among those likely to vote in the general election, according to a Marist College Poll in Pennsylvania conducted Sept. 19-22 and released on Tuesday." --
"according to a Marist College Poll"? Good grief! Depending on a "college" calculated "poll" is like asking UC Berkeley to poll voting faculty about staging a Trump rally.

---
Online headline: "DHS in crosshairs over migrant flights from Florida, Texas to Democrat sanctuary cities * More than 10,000 illegal immigrants have been shipped north by Republicans governors" -- So governors of Texas and Florida are "resettling" 10,000 out of OVER 2,000,000 illegal aliens the Biden administration has "resettled" wherever it wants in the past 21 months. Sounds like all he governors should be as concerned for their citizens the way Abbott and DeSantis are...

I am writing off Fresh Market here in Columbus, GA! Yesterday, I went there to pick up a "rotisserie chicken" for my bride to use in our meal last night. I got there, and the chickens were 30 minutes away from being cooked. Not finding a couple of others things she needed, I left and went to Publix and got them, then went back to Fresh Market. I picked up the $8.99 "chicken" and proceeded to check out.. With tax, the total came to $9.80. I handed the woman a $10.00 bill, but instead of getting 20-cents back, she asked if I had 80-cents because she didn't have any change. I said, "No", then she asked if I wanted to "round up" my purchase to $10.00 in lieu of getting my change back.. I said "No" again. She then said she couldn't... wouldn't.. complete the sale. I normally would have just walked away and leave her holding my "BIRD" in her face, but it was for my bride, so I got out my debit card and paid for it. My God, I thought.. I was a 4th generational merchant, and never in my experience would anyone working for our store have told a customer he/she wouldn't make a sale because of not having the correct change.. For that matter, if I had heard an employee say that to a customer, that employee would have been fired on the spot!

From the "i told you this yesterday" department - Online headline: "White House says 'we welcome' Russians applying for US asylum amid Putin conscription * Tens of thousands of Russian military-age men have fled country to avoid Putin's draft" -- "Tens of thousands"? How about over 260,000! And, all they have to do is surge across our Southern Border and tell the CBP they want to go to Washington, DC!

Online headline/story: "First lawsuit filed to block Biden's student loan handout
The lawsuit seeks a temporary restraining order to prevent the loan handout from going into effect * Frank Garrison, an attorney at Pacific Legal Foundation, brought the suit against the Department of Education Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. * His lawyers argue Garrison "will be stuck with a tax bill that makes him financially worse off than continuing with his repayment program under PSLF."
* "He did not ask for cancellation, doesn’t want it, and has no way to opt out of it," the Pacific Legal Foundation said in a release Tuesday." - There are always two sides to a coin... fortunately, the Supreme Court will say only Congress can initiate spending money.

So, why aren't these "students" smiling?

Why aren't they smiling? Either because these are paid actors, not students, or they are students learning they will owe taxes on loan "gifts"....

Online headline: "Twitter roasts Biden White House for suggesting 'conversation' on renaming Atlanta Braves: 'Out of touch'" -- Hmmm... I like suggesting names, too.. How about:
JoKKKe Biden
P.T. Biden.. "The Greatest Schmo on Earth".
Uncle Joe
Big guy
Bleep Veep
Biden bin Lying...

---
Online headline: "5 migrant buses arrive in NYC as Mayor Adams' tent city construction begins" -- How humane....NOT! Building "tent cities" in northern states as winter approaches.. yeah.. right..

---
Online headline: "January 6 Committee postpones hearing as Hurricane Ian approaches" -- Hmmm... guess Democrats are concerned about producing more hot wind than Hurricane Ian. Of course, the real reason is that this was the last scheduled "meeting", and the 6th of "Jan" wouldn't stand a chance competing about "Ian"..

Last week, GA had the second lowest average price for regular gasoline in the nation... $3.073. Without Kemp's tax suspension of 30.4 cents per gallon, GA's price would be $3.377 which would be the 36th highest state price. Thanks, Governor Kemp.. and thank God, Abrams didn't win in 2018... what Democrat would suspend a tax to help?

---
Meanwhile back at the White House, on Monday, Resident Biden fully demonstrated his lack of reality and business economics. He demanded the Mom & Pop Service stations reduce their gas prices "NOW!" at the pumps. Hey, Resident Biden... You can reduce prices at the pump immediately.. just suspend the federal gas taxes per gallon. Doing so would chop 18-cents from the cost of each gallon of gas.

WTVM-TV9 story: "COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Muscogee County School District’s new Odis Spencer Stadium - the city’s newest sports complex - is close to completion. * It’s a multi-purpose facility - with the hopes of attracting the Georgia High School Athletic Association’s regional and state-wide events. Paid through the Educational - Special Local Option Sales Tax - or E-SPLOST - the construction also continues the cities commitment to south Columbus. * “It’s going to be a tremendous asset for the schools and school aged kids playing sports in Columbus,” said Mayor Skip Henderson." -- First.. It looks nice .. let's just pray the facility lasts longer than the first and 2nd Spencer High Schools. Secondly... why was Mayor Skip "consulted and quoted"? He nor Council have ZERO to do with the Public School system..

---
Columbus L-E headline/story: "Police investigated 16 related Columbus store heists before 7 went to trial, cop testifies * Police Sgt. Dawn Tuning testified that investigators were probing a string of 16 robberies or break-ins that began on Aug. 31 and ended Oct. 17, 2018." -- Excuse me, but why has this taken 4 years to get to court? Covid-19 doesn't cut it...

---
Online headline/story: "Possible relocation due to water issues at Columbus (GA) Health Dept. * The plan to temporarily relocate is still being decided, according to Kirkland. * She says the land belongs to the city." -- Wait a minute! The City just paid an outrageous amount to buy and remodel this facility.. and NOW we're finding out the CITY did not do "due diligence" in inspecting the facility for existing construction flaws? Somebody's head should "roll"...

---
Online headline: "DeSantis-appointed county commissioner resigns after alleged Ku Klux Klan picture emerges" -- Wow! Just what the Democrats are looking for.. there are a ton of pictures with Resident Biden celebrating with the late Senator Robert Byrd of WV who was an OFFICIAL in the KKK so Biden .. obviously,.. MUST RESIGN! .. Now.. about this picture of the "county commissioner"... it looks like a "costume party" shot.. How come Democrats.. and MSM.. forgave Biden, and former VA Gov Northam (who's medical school annual personal page has him in "blackface" and another picture embracing another med school student in a KKK robe)?

---
WTVM-TV9 story: "COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Efforts continue to increase the pay of Columbus city workers. We now have the latest details on the Columbus pay plan study. The assessment was launched to determine how employees are paid across the board. * Over the summer, recommendations were made to implement pay raises. Tonight the Columbus City Council reviewed those recommendations once again. * The plan is still being reviewed. It has not been passed yet." -- The only reason an "outside firm" is hired to "examine" the City payroll is because Council KNOWS what they will recommend. What's not being "talked about are the "Covid-19" taxpayer funded "bonuses" handed out...

---
Online headline: "Georgia voters will decide 4 ballot questions in November" -- Well, one of the four is good.. it stops indicted state-wide elected officials from getting paid while awaiting trials. Te other 3 should be TROUNCED at the polls! One is about exempting storm damaged properties from property taxes... but that would aid large property owners a way to shift their tax responsibility on to small homeowners.. there is already a system to relieve tax burdens on damaged properties.. it's called an "appeal" and quite easy to initiate.. Now the 3rd and 4th 'questions" shouldn't even BE on the ballot! Both are about eliminating normal business expenses for LARGE and EXTRA-LARGE industries here in GA... the timber and egg/dairy concerns.. eliminating existing property taxes on equipment and "product" will not... WILL NOT .. lower prices to consumers... the tax savings will be to the owners... not the consumers...

---
Online headline: "Cuba without electricity after hurricane hammers power grid" -- Hmmm... how will electric vehicle owners in Cuba feel?

---
Looks like millions of Floridians are moving north to get out of Hurricane Ian's path.. I'm sure most are feeling relieved that they didn't buy an electric vehicle to "escape" in...

---
Online story: "Sen. Joe Manchin on Tuesday asked Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to remove energy permitting language from a government funding bill after he failed to secure enough support for the proposal. * Manchin added: "For that reason and my firmly held belief that we should never come to the brink of a government shutdown over politics, I have asked Majority Leader Schumer to remove the permitting language from the Continuing Resolution we will vote on this evening." " -- Wanna bet whether this was a voluntary move by Manchin? Wanna bet whether Manchin got an even bigger sweetheart deal for other personal perks than the original sweetheart deal to vote for the Inflation REFLUX Bill??
