You know.. as often as we hear Democrats scream "no one is above the law", we don't hear them screaming that when they are talking about other Democrats.... or illegal aliens...

Something strange is going on concerning the 340 unit apartment project on River Road here in Columbus, GA.. There has been little.. if any.. CELEBRATION of a high impact development of Atlanta based Alliance Realty Partners.. there's still no recorded sale registered with the City's tax office database, and the department has not responded to my inquiry about it... The church tax exempt property was given a "RO" zoning which is... was.... very strange for tax exempt church properties... Something has gone on that no Councilor or beneficiary ... nor the local media for that matter...wants to discuss publicly... Yes Columbus... something wrongfully strange is going on...

Something important happened Wednesday.. and most of our City elected officials "yawned".. Governor Kemp was in town...and few showed up to acknowledge their appreciation.. Sure.. it was a political appearance.. but our elected officials are "non-partisan", and should take advantage of every opportunity to establish a better working relationship with GA statewide officials...

I got an anonymous tip about a site called "Muscogee Muckraker".. haven't tracked down the developer/publisher.. but there was one story concerning City employment practices that should be looked into... if nothing else.. to confirm or, hopefully.. puncture...

Our Muscogee County School District had one school that scored in the Top 10 statewide in GA for average scores of students taking the 2022 SAT's... Having one of the Top 10 schools is good, but looking at the other aspects ... not so good.. MCSD brags about it's "graduation record", but when only 2 of it's high schools have more that 100 students take the SAT's is pathetic.. our high schools even have SAT "prep classes", which .. obviously.. take up time that could be used to teach more important aspects (such as READING and MATH PROFICIENCY). The numbers out from the District and individual schools reflect the number of students who took the SAT's and the average of their Math and English Arts portions...

Oh! Hey, Muscogee County School Board ... didn't y'all promise, if elected, you'd work hard to make sure our students are getting the best available education we can provide? Surely this isn't it...

It was pathetic yesterday to see Resident Biden and "Yapping Yorkie" Mayorkas try to look relevant dressed in suits & ties from the FEMA office in Washington discussing Hurricane Ian's damages in Florida.... but they had to show up somewhere and try to coattail onto the fabulous job Governor DeSantis was doing actually IN Florida...
---
You now.. if Resident Biden is going to expound of what's happening in Florida, reporting from Washington ain't gonna get it!! That's sorta akin to him reporting from Washington that our Southern Border is "secure"..
---
Wow! I heard Resident Biden proudly proclaiming I'd be getting a REDUCTION on my Part B costs of Medicaid. ... I started to get excited.. until I read the "details":
"The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that 2023 monthly Part B premiums will decrease to $164.90 from $170.10, the first decline in a decade that only partially offsets the double-digit percentage increase in the 2022 premium.
The annual Part B deductible will also dip, to $226 from $233. Part B covers doctors, medical equipment and other outpatient expenses not covered by Medicare Part A" --
Good GRIEF! Resident Biden is trying to make an ANNUAL $12.20 "reduction" worthy of National NEWS.. and MSM is helping him! I'm gonna bet it actually costs Medicare MORE to change the billing software than will be saved by participants!

From the "finally, an Andrew "Fredo 1" Cuomo update" department - Ex-NY Governor Cuomo is forming a PAC... Hmmm... Of course, to him, a PAC is a Personal Antifa Coalition...
