His article this weekend, “Potential Political Shift Looms in 2026 as Five Columbus Council Seats Head to Ballot” is totally biased about skin colors of the candidates and voters…He even published the demographic figures by race in the affected 2026 districts and city wide Council races, yet he added this statement: “However, that diversity has not consistently translated into equitable representation in local leadership.” Obviously he is advocating for voters to vote based on skin color because there are White representatives in Council Posts 7 & 10… Hailes obviously feels Cogle and Anker are mistakes because Black voter registration is Predominant in District 7 (60%) and dominant City Wide Post 9 (49%).
