Online headline: "Georgia Aquarium lands on list of nation’s top tourist traps" --  I agree...While we've visited several times with children and grandchildren in tow, and there were some amazing exhibits, not once have I left feeling I wanted to rush back anytime soon ..there's "no flow" between areas that feel natural or inviting, and the star attraction "Dolphin Show" needs the most work! It's limited seating means lining up way ahead of time to hopefully get in (and you know how patient young grandchildren are about waiting interminably in line is), which means there won't be sights available to make the wait enjoyable...Oh! The concessions set-up is the worst ever!

While government aid in emergency or for  unplannable acts of nature is a reason ( like group insurance) for states to be joined together, only situations that affect our whole nation's interest should be funded with Federal tax dollars. Each state should be responsible for its own  "journey" and serving its citizens' needs and wants. States should not be on the "public dole".

I read a statement on a GA restaurant menu that really bothered me ..it stated its policy for groups of 6 or more was to add a 20% gratuity, and that the tip would incur a STATE MANDATED 9% sales tax! FIRST, I want to know who introduced such a bill, and which Governor signed it into law! NEXT, I want to know how that will be enforceable now that Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" has outlawed taxes on tips!

Hey… DemoKrats do stuff like this in GA, too.. Congressman Sanford Bishop and his wife, EACH have a house in GA.. one in Albany, and One in Columbus… that have H1 homestead exemptions on them which lower their taxes… of course, the Homestead exemption can only be give to one home a family owns… wonder which tax assessor’s office they lied too?
