Talk about being totally indoctrinated and misinformed .. I saw a picture of a protester holding a sign that read, "Jesus was a Muslim".  While Jesus welcomes everyone, "Jesus IS a Christian"... And there's no "was" about Jesus....Besides, not only was Muslimism not "founded" for 500-600 years after Jesus died for us...it's always been Jesus Christ...and always will.

I'm still amazed that mortgage scams are an issue, but more amazed that individual homeowners who get scammed are held  "responsible" for the damages that a financial institution  should be held 100% responsible for .... Think about it...if you go into a bank, and and say you own a house, and want a loan against the equity, wouldn't you think that the bank policy would be to affirm your actual ownership, and do due diligence  before issuing a loan against just your word?

It's out now... the DemoKrats are pushing "affordable housing" to buy votes... But, in actuality, governments cannot build "affordable housing" ... Look at "public housing projects" in the works in Columbus GA.. A new complex at the intersection of Veterans Parkway & Victory Drive (across from South Commons) is costed out (before overruns) and the per unit construction costs are over $300,000.00 PER UNIT! Too boot, that doesn't include any land costs. Meanwhile, a similar private sector housing complex was recently completed for well under $130,000 per unit INCLUDING land costs.

The big difference "enabling affordable housing" is that most residents in the public housing project will  get up to 70% of their rent paid by the taxpayers, while residents of the private sector complex will be paid by the units' renters. In other words, when government makes housing more affordable for some, government makes housing for most LESS affordable!
